Wok U Like in Conwy

Food was delicious.. helpful chap serving helped me to be able to have a couple of gluten free dishes .. one of the nicest Chineses we have had. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks guys

If I could pick 0 I would, I placed a telephone order at 7pm (for delivery) to be told it would be an hour to an hour and a half until it would be delivered (which was fine). TWO hours later I had a phone call apologising for the delay to then say my order would be a further 35-45 minutes!! It wasn’t even a big order, 2 meals and 2 starters!! Absolutely shocking!! Clearly prioritising walk in orders over telephone orders!! Will not be ordering again as this is not the first time my orders have been delayed, wrong or not turned up.

Absolute the best about..first time ordering after being requested on YouTube and generally ..the best food about .had the munchie box with the ribs chicken soft noodles and rice with Thai sauce .and blew my taste buds apart. My new go to in llanwrst and my every Friday and Saturday food

This is so far the best Chinese takeaway in that place. Delicious food and reasonable price. Stuffs are friendly. Highly recommended!!!

Friday night family supper, delivered quickly despite us being 5 miles uphill! Great service on the phone, good food and generous portions, all for a very reasonable price. Wok’s not to like?

We've had goodness knows how many delivered meals from Wok U Like over the years. They are consistently good - or we wouldn't be regular customers- and delivery is always spot on.

Had a very large order from here on a busy night….I was told they was very buy witch I understood….the food arrived within the time stated on the phone….we had all different meals between us an all food was absolutely amazing….there wasn’t much left but what was left I ate for breakfast lol (expect the chips of course not good to re head chips) definitely going to keep order my food from here brilliant service

Not the best! Please do not try this if your used to good quality Chinese takeaway food! The food is hot, but they use lots of gelatine to thicken the sauce and no taste to the actual food. The meat is dry which has clearly not been made from fresh. The chips are disgusting and had been reheated. Don’t want to dis any company, and I hope they improve, but this is appalling and do not want to waste their money trying this just because it’s the only Chinese takeaway place in Glan Conwy.

This is a mixed Asian and English restaurant. The menu is extensive, and everything we ordered tasted good! Can’t beat the price and quality at Wok U Like for takeaway food! Great for a quick bite.

Take away ordered and arrived exactly on time food wonderful. Even called us later to check that the order came on time. Excellent service highly recommend

Have been ordering from this takeout for years now, always have been satisfied with the quality of the food and woah, the delivery time is insanely quick, around 20 minutes delivery time from Glan Conwy to Junction. The delivery drivers are ever so polite as are the people answering the phones there which makes ordering a breeze, keep it up guys!

I always order the same thing and i love it! Sweet and sour chicken cantonese style. the sauce is better than any other sweet and sour i’ve tried! the soft noodles were lovely, accompanied by some duck spring rolls with hoisin sauce which went down a treat and normal spring rolls which were giant! for pudding i had a battered mars bar and this is one of my favourites from their! defiantly recommend this chinese to everyone one of my favourites

Phoned for a delivery during the Covid pandemic. Delivery was approx 30 mins. Food was very good and was hot on arrival. Have ordered a few times now.

Really nice food, the salt and pepper chips are the best I’ve ever tasted in any Chinese locally. I would definitely recommend, delivery service can vary on a weekend but it’s definitely worth the wait!

After reading the bad reviews on trip advisor I was a little sceptical about ordering but though I would give it a go. Ordering was very easy and I was given a 45 minute delivery slot, the food arrived in just over 30 minutes. The food was hot and there was lots of it and it tasted good and for the price was good value for money. I would have given 5 rating but the sauce on the crispy shreaded beef a little thick and the noodles could have done with a little more sauce (you can ask for that but I didn't). Overall I will be using them again.

Was awful, chips were overcooked and horrible as well as being cold! Burger was not nice at all! Forgot most of our food, crispy pork tasted awful! I’m expecting a refund!

Food is always hot. Can sometimes be hit and miss but the fried rice is always good as are the chicken burgers!

Just before you step in, have a look upstairs at the living quarters. Its absolutely rank. What hope is there of the kitchen being clean? Supported by a 1 star food hygiene rating, its got deli belly written all over it.Luke warm, low quality ingredients best eaten if you have had a keg of ale or want to lose serious weight.

Firstly the food got delivered in record time which was fantastic.Overall the food was okay. We ordered sweet n sour chicken (hong kong style) and king prawns in oyster sauce with shredded roast duck fried rice and chips.The duck was dry and chunky, not shredded and the sweet n sour was very overpowering so overall a 3 star review.

We have 3 holiday homes on Conwy touring park and We have ordered from this restaurant on 3 occasions now each time the order has been correct and on time.The food is perfect and exactly what you order we are a group of 8 and all orders something different. Speedy delivery, second time for us in Eglwysbach. Great fresh and hot food, really enjoyed and will definitely be ordering again.

Highly recommend that nobody EVER orders from Wok U Like in Glan Conwy -Just ordered £20’s worth of food and honestly everything is inedible apart from the prawn crackers, the chicken was undercooked and for some reason I’ve had tomatoes in my green Thai curry and it smelt like sick! My mum and dads Special Fried rice looked absolutely vile, I wouldn’t have even given it to my dog. The chips weren’t fresh and neither was the sausage and the lad actually had the decency to say ‘I watched the sausages being cooked fresh today’ - do you think he’s lying from this picture? Because I do! The staff were extremely rude, especially the young lad who originally delivered our food, when we asked for a refund he said ‘no you’re not having one and hung up’ eventually after calling Just Eat where we originally ordered the food through we were told the Chinese would only give us a 50% refund so of course this was still unacceptable and I called the Chinese back again directly to which then the lad said ‘if you come and bring the food back then you can have a full refund’ - personally I think how they handled the whole situation they should be ashamed and especially ashamed of their vile food!I have previously ordered from here before and the food has been ok but unfortunately this time Wok U Like, you and your extremely rude staff have lost yourself a customer.

We made a special detour to order from here. We we're recommended by our son who makes a 15 mile trip when he wants a Chinese meal. I think I need to have a serious chat with him ! The food was awful, it was ready just 5 minutes after the order was placed and there were customers before us. How do you cook 3 separate dishes in such a short time? Chinese food is popular because of the variety of flavours and textures but everything we'd ordered tasted the same, just so bland.

A well timed mail shot arrived this week while we were staying at our little cottage in Conwy. Impressed by the extensive menu & emboldened by the recent reviews we ordered a meal for delivery. Arrived piping hot & well within estimated delivery time. Some of the best Chinese food we've had & reasonably priced. Looking forward to our next opportunity to explore what's on offer.

We ordered 2 meals. Duck in orange sauce and chicken chow mein , prawn toast and egg fried rice with spring onions. Very fresh and tasty. Quick delivery. Lovely meal.

Ordered a delivery via Just Eat whilst on holiday in Conwy. 45 minute delivery time and exactly what we had ordered, all very hot and fresh. Highly recommended for a good chinese takeaway.

My prawn curry was wonderful, just the right amount of heat and a ton of onions all cooked to perfection. The fried rice excellent. My wife's chicken and pineapple was equally tasty and plenty of it too. All in all a great experience.

the quality of the food is excellent, we normally eat out when having a Chinese meal but since we found this take away we now eat in at less than half the cost and better food, it is that good.

Food was good. No complaints. All very nice and fresh. Delivery driver could not find us so had to direct him to my mansion by phone. My butler said he was a very well mannered young man.

so the food was average won tons are aweful, and the delivery driver knocked once i was sorting out baby so iwas a little slow opening i go out to find him getting in his car about to drive away whilst my food has been left on step! (i prepaid)

We used Wok U Like chinese take away, when we we staying in a holiday cottage in Eglwysbach, they were easy to find and the service was very quick. the meals were very large even by comparision to our chinese in lincolnshire, as the meal we opted for was the chow main speicial ( I belive it was called) the noodles were served seperate from the meal (were we normally have them already combined in the meal) so we still ordered chips as we would normally do, this meant we had a huge amount of food but it was very dealious, the meal cost was very good,

Lovely food and delivered to camp site which is a huge bonus. Driver friendly. Will be back next time we are on our holidays

Truly terrible meal. I think it was yesterdays take away. It tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. All the meat was dry and tasteless and veg all soggy. Do not order from this takeaway! What a waste of money!! It was expensive rubbish.

food was inedible the chips were solid they were over and over cooked that there was nothing inside the food was cold regards been 20min early the special curry well there was nothing special about it it was watery and had no curry taste the beef in the chow mein was dry and tough in total a waste of money as I had to start cooking food for my family we have off you lots of times now I think this will be the last and I am sure when people see the state of the food a lot more will not be coming back to you waste of £20 of my hard earned money

I was a tad disappointed with my order this week. I am vegetarian and ordered vegetable spring rolls when they arrived they clearly weren't vegetable spring rolls, and on further inspection where duck. Very disappointed

Really didn't enjoy the food today. Complete waste of money. Some of the food was piping hot and other parts of it luke warm at best. Couldn't even cut through the fish batter. Generally seemed like stale reheated dishes

Delivery driver accedently dropped our food on the way from his car but went and got replacement straight away, wrong curry was delivered 2nd time but I didn't complain as it was really nice.

One item wasn't delivered, but after a phone call this was rectified along with a promise of a free meal next time.

Cuando viajamos a Glan Conwy desde Londres que no le apetece cocinar cuando llegamos. En la medida en que no es un martes podemos confiar en Wok U como para proporcionar una comida rápida, sabrosa en su menú increíblemente amplia (pescado y patatas fritas para el curry tailandés via Staples china) en un precio muy razonable.

This was the first time we tried this establishment and found the food to be very delicious. Read reviews and delivery times weren't great, so we ordered for a collection. Still had to wait 15/20min when I went to collect, but it was worth it, as the food was freshly prepared and delicious🙂 Even though they gave me one less portion of chips that I paid for on my order via Just Eat, I would still recommend Wok U Like as the food is very tasty and ordering process is seamless👍 Suben

Sobre £70 orden pidió que nos trajeran a nuestra casa. Nuestra orden fue incompleta, así que llamé a rectificar. El hombre nos dijo que nuestra orden era incompleta en su camino, así que después de otros 30 minutos llamado de nuevo. Nuestra respuesta entonces era que no había pedido la comida que falta y que nos equivocamos en nuestra queja. Y terminó en el hombre poner teléfono para nosotros. Nunca volvería a pedir la comida a este restaurante de nuevo como servicio de atención al cliente totalmente inadecuado cuando el error fue su propio.

Use this restaurant fairly regularly and it's usually very good. Tonight's meal however was below standard and not very nice at all.

No está mal si ure a ure tenía una piel propia completa. He comido mejor desde aquí en el pasado, pero las porciones últimamente es pobre tengo un especial curry casi ninguna carne. Arrived 20 minutes earlier than estimated. Food tasted very nice and lettuce (vegetable lettuce wrap) was very crisp and fresh.

The duck was delicious as always but the sweet and sour HK style chicken was not as good as previous orders. I wonder if there is a different chef on a Sunday - I previously ordered o n Saturdays. The prawn toast were rather oily.
