Winkles Seafood in Basildon

I had a 50£ platter made up and it was amazing,all fresh and well presented. Good value for money and the winkle ladies are more than helpful to accommodate whatever your looking for. Would highly recommend winkles seafood

This is by far the best seafood place in basildon. I regularly get a hot platter and the kids love it

My go-too for local fresh seafood. Its always fresh, service with a smile, you will quite often find me dropping in on my way home after a netball game at the weekend to pickup some post-game grub 👌🏼 There is always a queue which must tell you it’s a good place to go

We have been visiting Winkles regularly with family and friends. The service is always of a high friendly standard. The children have tried lots of different seafoods and now have their favourites. My youngest is always asking to go the ‘crab stick shop’. The location is perfect next to the pub and has benches to enjoy seafood and a pint in the sun. We have had various platters over the years which are perfect for entertaining friends. I can’t rate this yummy establishment enough and highly recommend it.

I love this place, really lovely owner very friendly. Food is amazing, hot and cold seafood absolutely brilliant. You will never find better.

Can’t believe how amazing the food was, nothing was to much trouble to help us with our selections, excellent choice of products as well, definitely will be visiting at least once a month for a date afternoon with my partner

Regular here since it opened and can honestly say the work put in here by the owner and her staff really reflects with how well its run. Very friendly and competatively priced. Well done Winkles. Keep doing a brilliant job.

Your be greeted with a friendly smile & nothing is too much trouble for the staff who will bend over backwards to help you out. I guarantee once you have tried the seafood you will go back for more. Spotless clean friendly and great food this lady has had a few problems getting her business up and running but is a little fighter so deserves some support along the way so go try her out and you will return again as I have done

Picked up one of the Christmas seafood platters today and it was super fresh, and tasty. Would definitely buy it again. Staff were very friendly and professional through out the ordering process (ordered the platter online). Would definitely recommend this place to all seafood lovers.

This is the best seafood to be had for miles. Absolutely amazing. Lovely setting too. You can get your drinks from the pub, and enjoy your seafood with a drink. Benches, tables, umbrellas, condiments. Plenty of parking.

Winkles is the freshest and best Seafood you will find in the area and that includes going as far out as Leigh etc. The van is immaculately clean and kept to a high standard. Go and see for yourself.

Such a lovely choice of seafood, platers etc all tastes amazing so fresh. Anything made up if you want something particular. Was greated with a lovely friendly welcome, such great customer service. Made it my Friday lunch time treat. Thanks Winkles
