BEST FOOD AND STAFF. should have more than 5 stars! Beats burger king hands down. Huge portion of freshly cooked chips. Great vegetarian options much better than the slop from McDonald's. Bean burgers and quorn burgers. Chips are cooked fresh and don't taste like cardboard. All meals cooked fresh. It may not be as quick as McDonald's but it's worth waiting 5 minutes for the extra quality. Best vege options of "fast" food outlets .Shame there are not more Now sell bottles of special sauce to take out.

Not clean enough, salt and pepper pots need a good clean for a start.

Staff working there are rude sit there talking behind your back! isnt the first time either and don’t even sell half the stuff on the menu

Delicious introduction to England take on an American burger joint. Not that it was trying to be one of the other, it was unique and interesting to experience. My banana shake was my favorite, and have never had sweet potato fries (chips) at a place like that. Service was fantastic (with a smile) and offered a great sneak peak into the friendly neighborhood feel that is Ashton, Kent.

The place was dirty, dirty tables the cutlery was dirty will not be going there again the salt and pepper pots had all food on them if I had not ordered first I would have left straight away,

Not many Wimpys around nowadays... I would have Wimpy over Macdonalds or Burger king always... It's a shame that they close at 5.30pm

Whopper burgers still amazing, like the old days! Main thing that let this place down is cleanliness - we ate in and didn't put salt and pepper on our chips as didn't want to pick up the filthy pots they were in! Food etc. stuck to them 🤢 Tables had dry food and drink spill marks on them showing they hadn't seen a recent and thorough clean. Noticed staff pick up a damp re-usable cloth from the serving counter to wipe a different table down - no doubt the cloth was being re-used repeatedly 🤢 when the roll of disposable paper towel beside it would have been a much more hygienic option. In my opinion, this Wimpey needs to pick up on it cleanliness before we eat in again.

Young lady who served us, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Kept clean and looks tidy too .

Love a wimpy. Bit pricey but you can get a good deal.would recommend. Staff were nice as well. Loads better than McDonald's. It is more of a quality meal.

Did wonder if the place was open with all the stacked chairs out side and not bright inside but so glad we tried the door (it was only 2pm!!). Food was good staff was ok liked there phones ALOT!!! But overall good food.

I was looking forward to having a good old wimpy burger but it was horrible and the restaurant was pretty dirty with cobwebs on the ceiling and a lot of flies. I would never go back to the one in Ashford again

Good staff but Wimpy food used to be tops but what I had I could have got better in a supermarket. I was so pleased when I heard Wimpy were back but won't bother with them again.

Childhood memories relived! Travelled here from Dover just to eat here. Food as I remembered it! Lovely day out with family ☺️

Very friendly and welcoming staff.cooked very quickly.I absolutely love the quarterpounders and chips and strawberry milkshake.used to come 30 years ago and still amazing.I live in Gloucestershire and they don't have Wimpys at all so come back to get my fix when visiting family.5 stars xxxxx

Who doesn't enjoy a Wimpy. Glad we still have one in ashford. Staff are always friendly, and restaurant is clean. Being a lady in my sixties, my childen have grown up coming with me, and still enjoy a visit. Food is always hot, and served promptly. Menu is varied from cake and coffee to full meals, so good chose. Give it a try, it beats some of the other places for friendly service.

I love the wimpy. The food is cooked fresh and in sight of the customer. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are friendly and smiley. I have been coming here for a while and i strongly reccomend a visit.

First take away Burger (Quarter pounder with the bacon and cheese) from Wimpy and it was very nice! Amazing ketchup! Will definitely pop in for a meal next time. Very friendly And helpful staff.

All the team work really hard here and are so welcoming. Perfect if you fancy a retro treat!

Very dirty food and crumbs all over the floor walls dirty. Food was ok but burger & chips plus a cheese sandwich and 2 drinks was £22 slightly over priced I think.

Excepted a jacket potatoe has usual but was informed by the lovely shannon the chicken & the chips where glutensil free so had the chicken platter was lovely & freshly cooked Shannon was very helpful nothing was to much trouble only marked a 4 cos toilets were mingling which let the whole place down shame as even though the resturant was small it was very clean & friendly with great service

A pleasant discovery in the centre of Ashford as Wimpy always serve good quality and value food. Wimpy is not a 'fast food' restaurant as such but serves very good quality food as fast as they can, which is pretty quick! Food is cooked freshly to order which is why the quality is so good. Wimpy also offers wider choices than other fast food restaurants, for example where else can you get a Black Cherry milkshake? The Wimpy Original Quarterpounder burgers are a must to try if you have not had one before. There is seating both inside and outside on the pavement. Overall a really good place to go for a good meal at a good price.

The food is well worth the price. It was clean and easily accessible with seating inside and out. With friendly staff

Lovely friendly staff and the taste from my youth. Was cooked to perfection. It's a tad expensive so not a place you could go to regularly but an amazing "treat meal"

Very friendly atmosphere. Good service. The meal you get enough volume. Cooked well. Eggs can be as you ask. Not many tables and a little squashed. There is disabled access. I think there are four armchairs for a relaxed coffee. Prices are reasonable for the place and compatable too Burger King just not charcoal grilled thankfully. You can get a thick shake and nice coffee. There is also a toilet. not sure its disabled though.

Just been to the BEST WIMPY IN THE WORLD . The Cheeseburger and chips was perfect and the staff were so friendly. Worth the journey for LUCKY LEE'S BEST WIMPY IN THE WORLD.

I popped in and asked a member of staff if they had anything for gluten free customers and was told no which is a shame as I was looking forward to a Wimpy so won't be going back.

Have been using the wimpy for years - the girls here are really great and food is always nice. Milkshake is best in town - well done to all who work here :)

Before the 'Golden Arches' arrived there was Wimpy. Not true fast food, they cooked it to order, but all the salad, pickles and sauces were generally absent, and largely still are unless you ask. As a kid in the sixties, a trip to Wimpy was a treat with its acres of Formica and 'milk shakes' that were just flavoured skimmed milk. It's just the same now. More expensive than McD's or Burger King or KFC but nowhere near the ridiculous prices charged for 'gourmet' burgers, so if you like your burger cooked to order but otherwise with no fuss or thrills, or if like me this is a bit of your childhood, why not?

Is ok for fast food.Just the ventilation need to be improve as can smell whatever kitchen cooking at the time.

I popped into wimpy few days ago to get some lunch with friends, I walked in and looked round the whole place trying to find a clean table. Staff just standing talking, floor covered in food. Walked in and walked straight back out

Looking for somewhere to have lunch and stumbled upon the Wimpy Bar. We have not been in one for a couple of years so felt we would give it a go. We were greeted with a smile by a young waitress who showed us to a table. We gave her the drinks order and when she brought them ordered our food. It was like going back in time, the same dependable 'Wimpy Grill', half pounders and fresh hot fries. The young waitress had not been there long but she was very efficient. Wimpy always was and still is value for money. Quite pleased we found it. As a footnote, my friend had with him a guide dog in training. The waitress said he was very welcome and brought him over a cup of water to drink, the dog that is, not my friend.

We wanted to go for a meal but could not as they don't have anything that is not wheat free and nothing to replace potatoes as my wife has potato and wheat intolerance so gave up. which is a shame as I love wimpy many years ago I used to cook in the Folkestone Wimpy. So won't bother next time when in Ashford.

Pensado para un almuerzo de wimpy. Fuimos muy bien recibidos y camarera dentro, sin embargo, cuando intentamos recoger una mesa, no pudimos porque no había una mesa limpia y desordenados piso. Tenía que salir ya que horrorizó, mi compañero y yo de pensar de lo que la cocina parecía como si el frente de la casa estaba desordenada como este.
