Wimpy in Arun

Awful we had to wait ages for our order to be taken then had to ask for cutlery when we got our food. We ordered the 2 meals for £16 which was on the posters went to pay and got charged more as we never said we wanted that deal!!!! Nowhere did it say we had to nor were we asked when we ordered. Will never go there again

.. swear the waitress was Alice Eve..🤣 Brilliant all round, the international grill.. with an extra bendy... because you can't get them anywhere else!! ... or a doppelganger serving..

We waited 10 minutes before we were even served then waited another 20 minutes only to be told that they didn't have what we ordered. Just paid for our coffees and left. No apology or anything. Won't be going back there again

£20 for a triple burger meal. you lot are mad. I can get an actual gourmet burger in Brighton incl fuel for that price. How is anyone paying that price for a frozen burger and still happy. Nuts

First time visiting after seeing a offer in the window for desserts. I ordered the waffles and it was hard and burnt inside a disappointment. Ice cream was melted too, only enjoyed the scoop of ice cream on the top. Also ordered a sundae ashame it wasn't Cadbury flakes used in the ice cream for extra flavour. First time visit and don't think will be back

Staying in Chichester and drove out to Littlehampton for a meal. Unfortunately the Harvester was burnt down recently so decided to find somewhere else Driving around the one way system (many times over the past couple of years) my wife noticed the wimpy bar.Parked up again and walked back to this place.3 lovely girls working there. Very friendly but professional. Had a lovely meal and music playing was just right. We used to take our 2 sons to Wimpy bar and this brought back memories.Will definitely go back.Thank you.

Great food, nicely presented and cooked fresh to order. Much nicer than the usual fast food outlets.

Ordered 5 meals all chips and half burgers arrived cold. Staff took them back and replaced them with new hot ones. Would have understood if the restaurant was busy but we were the only ones sitting upstairs.

Staff wesnt very welcoming or friendly and the food wasnt very nice

Ordered takeaway on Sunday wasn't busy not even a big order I had an forget an item of mine I ring back they say will get sent half hour later ring back still not got it no one is coming to deliver it not good enough get ure car and deliver it mate stupid people

Over charged for kids meals was supposed to be £6.55 but was charged for the 3 items separately staff miserable and not welcoming won't be going back.

It was ok.. the place was clean, tidy and busy. The food was well cooked. Portion sizes varied between plates. The menu seemed scaled back from previous visits. The staff were pleasant.

For Milk Shakes you cannot beat a Wimpy one !. I’m so glad the Wimpy Bar in Littlehampton has reopened. We had two Bacon Muffins with Hash Browns and Egg, which were cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and there was a nice friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be coming here again when I’m in Littlehampton.

I meet people in here regularly and enjoy the coffee. I've eaten here a few times and never had any complaints. The service is top notch, they are always very accommodating.

My Mum wanted to visit the Wimpy for her birthday today, we had a lovely time, the food was lovely and the staff where fantastic and even put candles on my mum's pudding, everyone was friendly and helpful, made my mum's birthday!, Thank you all.

Really can't understand why Wimpy has fallen out of favour with so many around the country.... Visited Littlehampton Wimpy. The food is as tasty as ever as a no nonsense burger restaurant..... The service was great, quick and friendly.... Atmosphere was quiet but it was 3 in the afternoon, but, the background music 🎶🎵 was amazing 🤩 good ol' 80s classics, brilliant....... Overall, more people NEED to experience a Wimpys.

My brother order Wimpy for lunch not only did we get it fast but it was amazing food was very much amazing and it's one of the best takes out I've ever had

Nothing was too much trouble (brown sugar was brought to us instead of white, jam was provided for our toast etc) and the food was served quickly and tasted delicious. Thank you for the vegetarian options too!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wimpy for breakfast, and I was very impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. I ordered the Full English Breakfast, which is a classic British breakfast of two eggs, two rashers, two sausages, mushrooms, tomato, beans, and toast. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the sausages were juicy and flavorful, and the mushrooms were cooked to a perfect golden brown. The beans were also very good, and the toast was perfectly buttered. I also got a free hot drink with my breakfast, which was a nice touch. The service at Wimpy was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my breakfast was cooked exactly the way I wanted it. The atmosphere at Wimpy was also very nice. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and it had a classic diner feel to it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Wimpy. The price of my breakfast was £6.95 including a hot drink on special with breakfast before noon. I visited the Wimpy restaurant in Littlehampton just before noon on a Friday. The best food and great service

Don't know why I see negative comments on here. We went as a foursome and thoroughly enjoyed your meals and service at this Wimpy. Looking forward to going there again. Maybe the cashier can try smiling though.

The best place around for fresh food, tastes great and friendly service. The reviews below from Shannon and Terry are fake and they are trolls, they are well known around the town as Terry always gets in trouble with police. Terry's an ugly guy and think that's where his behaviour comes from, as he wishes he didn't look so ugly. Shannon looks like a bulldog chewing a wssp.

Seems to be under new management. Great food, nice premises, friendly staff. Nice to know that some institutions from my past are still going 🙂

ROTTE. food just left like a boiled burger in a ugly watery sauce chicken was like a rock wicrowaved beans tasted rotten and snow white dead finger chips first visit and the last I thought Tim hortons burger was bad but this boiled dog meat burger took the cake worst I ever tried don't waste your money

Rubbish place manager and chef is rude and treats his staff with no respect my food was cold and when asked about it the chef said it was hot when it left me I will never go back to there again the only good thing about it was the waitress they well nice and polite

Food was ok but chicken strips still pink in centre the chef was rude and don’t treat staff nicely at all wouldn’t recommend there to eat and will not go back again only upside was the lovely female waitresses very friendly and helpful

Myself and my husband visited Wimpy in littlehampton today.I am a vegetarian and asked for the qourn burger and the young lady working there said that the qourn burgers and the bean burgers are cooked in sane oil as meat.How can this happen? I then had to have the vegan burger as she said that was cooked separately. Please could Wimpy answer this

Fantastic, absolutely love wimpy

I swung by Wimpy Littlehampton briefly with my kids after school to get a takeaway before taking them to swimming lessons. I was in a rush and it turns out quite flustered as I left my purse there after we left. I realised when I got home so phoned them and was assured it was safe and would be kept so until I collected it. The young blonde staff member (should have got her name 🤦‍♀️) was helpful and reassuring and made what could have been a disaster for me so much easier. I haven't used a Wimpy for years, but the food was perfect and freshly cooked, staff wonderful (even opened the door for us when we arrived) and the kids loved it so we shall definitely be back! Obvious special mention to the young blonde staff member working at 4.30ish on the 18th. She was my saviour!!! 🙌

Had a Wimpy Grill - everything was dry; frankfurter egg burger and chips only saving grace was a very nice milkshake. Three young members of staff - not convinced that any could cook!

Had a great experience here on 19th September 21. Visited for a late lunch with my dad and 2 children. Service was good, as always. Was my twins 6th birthday and I asked if they could do something with their puddings to make it special for them. They suggested I get some candles from shop across the road, which I did. They did a good job of making their puddings look great. The 2 staff members that brought them over even helped sing happy birthday. Thanks once again and see you again soon 😊

My partner and I had lunch at Wimpy in Littlehampton on 8 September and once again were impressed. Food was great and the staff were as delightful as ever. Each time we have visited the town it's our go-to for lunch and every time we are 100% content. Nice one!

I was delighted to see mask being warn even when now not legally required to do so now . The waitressing staff went above and beyond to help me with seating due to being disability. Food was cooked by a lovely young lady and was served on time and to the best quality. Thank you for a pleasant visit.

Only one girl was wearing a mask whilst serving and young chef when brought food out, blonde waitress walked around with mask on chin pointless wearing at all and the older I think chef and his girlfriend were carting junk from back of shop Through the shop to A car no masks leaving door open all the time letting cold in , same blonde waitress washed every table with same cloth a lot of time without spraying , and menus were taken from tables not wiped and then put back again , sign in door says wear masks surely that applies to staff when walking around to protect customers , to be fair food wasn’t bad but we were put off and left quite a bit .

I went on a summer Sunday and the staff were superb. Very young but happy to help in any way. Focused on being Covid secure. Food was, well, burgers, no surprise there. But the sweet potato fries were different and tasty.

Haven't been in one for quite a while. Thought we would have a couple of Brown Derbys. Very small, and just taste of sugar. Used to have chopped nuts on it, now has fudge style pieces. All that at a cost of nearly £14. First visit in a long time, last ever

Will not return, food not like it used to be, soggy bun would rather eat MacDonalds. Kids running it, not very hygienic. Using hand washing basin to wash up cups etc. Saw one girl rinse spoon under tap, then stir customers drink. Both girls cooking had long hair and not tied back.

Extremely disappointed, not only were we shoved at the back where all the cleaning takes place so all we could smell was cleaning fluids and stale foods whilst eating, there was what I think was the family who lived upstairs running up and down the stairs and through the restaurant... Massively dissatisfied with the food, I remember Wimpy being big portions for small prices! It’s now £7 odd for just a burger and you have to add on chips?! Size was disappointing! Not worth the £26! Only good thing was the milkshakes! Will not be returning at all!

So nice to go into a Wimpy. Good food and service. Definitely worth the extra pound or 2 for the superior quality for their food. Much better than than the McCompetition.
