Wild Cabaret and Wicked Lounge in Glasgow City

Been several times before and highly recommended it however, this time was extremely overpriced and the entertainment was poor, and the food was standard. as a family of 8, we will not be back.

The staff were good, but the level of service was shocking the food was disgusting and cold. The cabaret was average. We had a party of 34 and the cost overall was roughly £4000 for the worst Christmas night out I have had for a long time. Certainly not worth the money, would never go back.

The entertainment was great and enjoyable. The host was hilarious. Unfortunately, the downfall was the service. Table of 12 for a Christmas night out. We had pre ordered our meals, with dietary requirements passed along via email. Starters came out, had to ask the server twice if it was gluten free and he still tried giving me a meal with bread on it. Eventually, got it correct and that server later apologised. At this point, I flagged a different server down and said that my next two courses (turkey and cheese were also gluten free). Mains came out. Another diner and I were waiting for our meals. Flagged a server down and told her we were waiting for a salmon and a gluten free turkey. Received our meals after the majority of the group had finished their course. Dessert came out... Minus two (me again). None of the servers checked that everyone on the table had plates in front of them, during any of the courses. Straight up asked for the manager, explained that we were still waiting for a cheese and crackers and a gf cheese. She comes back over ten minutes later with a printout (5 puddings, 7 cheeses) saying her staff had counted 7 cheeses had been brought out. Obviously not since two of us were sitting there without a meal in front of us. Saw that two of the blond waitresses standing by the sound booth had also clocked this. Manager also tried to argue about not knowing about dietary requirements. Double checked with our group organiser who was adamant all dietaries had been passed along via email. Manager comes back another 10 minutes later, saying there had been a miscommunication with the kitchen and no cheese boards left, options were pudding or ice cream. Finally got that half and hour after everyone else had their desserts and all the plates had been cleared. Absolutely appalling service from the manager. She took one bottle of wine off and we withdrew the service charge.

The food was nice enough, the show was fine, though the acts weren't as good as when we went previously a few years ago. Our main issue was we were overcharged and not even just a little....by £130! Good job I noticed and when I phoned to query it I was told we had been charged twice for our tickets. We were refunded without too much hassle but I did have to chase it up over a few days with an apology. I know mistakes can be made but I felt like some sort of good will gesture would have been nice to encourage us to come back.

I have to say this was excellent. Drinks were fast, food was good and entertainment was good. I’d recommend it. Service was really good and easy to order more drinks. No long waits for food.

Showed up on Saturday night to be told show wasn't on. Football on instead. No phone call or notification to inform me of this.

No additional sides available on the set menu. Place needs more atmosphere.

First burlesque experience, was different, but really enjoyable. Food was OK, we have been before and have had better, but the night was excellent. No real complaints, but minor tweaks would have been the seating orientation, my back was to the stage and had to move and with tables very close, I was close to sitting on the knee of the woman at the next table. Will go back though.

This was our first visit to Wild Cabaret on our Work Christmas party night. The venue was packed ,too many diners per head of staff serving which led to disastrous service waited 80 minutes for first drink !! And an hour and a half before starter was served. Food overall was good not great. We paid £69 for dinner and cabaret , entertainment was good and varied, compare swore too much (Kevin Bridges wanna be !! From Hamilton) and was really quite offensive at times tried frequently to shoosh the audience !! Suffice to say neither myself or my 12 colleagues will be back at any time of year .

I was very disappointed, we were not aware our booking was for a children’s show this should be made clear, Also my aunt has food allergies and even though we explained this 5 times she was extremely ill after eating her food this is completely not acceptable I will not be back Lynsey

I would recommend wild cabaret as a great value family event. The service is pretty poor though, seems really badly organised despite everyone having different arrival times. We have been a few times and every time we ho back it's getting worse. The food is good and value for money is excellent sk we will come back. But with a low expectation of service.

My family and I have been to the family show on a number of occasions however, went o the 23rd December and the show was fantastic as always but the food was extremely poor. I complained to our waitress but she simply struggled her shoulders and carried on. My husband had soup which resembled dish water, the fillet steak was like rubber, and my main meal was cold.

WoW..........what a night! Outstanding from start to finish. From entering the dining room, which is exquisite! The lighting from stage sets the perfect ambience to enjoy they most mouth watering dishes. And as a celiac sufferer, I do not always have many options. However, I was offered an alternative to almost every dish, with both gluten free bread and oat cakes on offer meaning not much was missed from my plate. The entertainment was also outstanding. I sadly cannot remember the performers names, but all where amazing, especially the redressing singing b*#b lady!!! And all at a very reasonable price to boot............do not miss out on this great evening (or day) as you will not be disappointed. Enjoy........

We went to Wild Cabaret for our works Christmas night out on Saturday, as we've done the past couple of years. Its a lovely venue, staff are always pleasant and food is fab. This year was a little disappointing though compared to previous years. The food was still 10/10, but service was quite slow and some of the acts were a bit dull compared to others we've seen previously. Our main gripe though was when the entertainment finished at 11pm, there was no DJ/Disco on, so the place emptied quicker than Usain Bolt at the 100mtrs. In previous years a DJ was on until 1am and the venue remained packed, it was always a brilliant finish to the night. Such a pity this aspect of the night has been removed - although the ticket price has remained the same I'll add! We also had to query our bill, which had drinks added to it such as Bacardi and vodka, totalling over £100 which we didn't order (our whole table only drank beer, wine or gin all night). There was no debate with the bar staff when we brought this to their attention, they just said sorry, scrunched the receipt up and binned it.... a bit odd we felt considering the amount. Overall an ok night out - its what you make of it really, but we'll probably go elsewhere for our crimbo doo next year.

I like Wild Cabaret for a day/night out. It's generally good value, the food is good quality and the acts are great. But I have a gripe this time - we were charged a ten percent surcharge for a table of two, £16! T&c started this applies for table of 10+. While our server was very pleasant, drinks order's were very slow and a bottle of wine was completely forgotten about. If I had more time that afternoon this would certainty have been disputed on the day. In addition you need to consider sound proofing to stop the awful noise from the bar next door, distracting for the audience and disrespectful for your acts.

The staff worked their socks off on what was a very busy night. Food was excellent and piping hot. Only downside was it was a bit drafty as we were seated between the entrance and the door from the kitchen.

Premis is great. Food was very good as was our waitress. Main fault was that we were freezing - right next to the curtains to the kitchen and an icy wind was blasting through straight on to us. Our lovely waitress kept closing it and the others kept reopening it. Entertainment was fairly average. Would give it another go in the hope of a better table and lineup

I think that the Christmas show was no more entertaining than the standard show although was £15 extra. Unfortunately we were seated right next to the door and it was very cold that evening and my food was overcooked although the rest of the table enjoyed theirs. I have been here a couple of times and this is the first time i have been slightly disappointed and felt that it was not worth the money. PS - try and get to a show with the duchess - Hilarious

I visited the wild cabaret when it was known as the wicked lounge; had a great night and the good was good. The entertainment was far superior to what we experienced on 29 th November and was very disappointed having come to Glasgow for the weekend from Cumbria.

We attended the bubbles and burlesque show two days ago.First time we have ever seen anything like it.Nice venue, good standard of food, excellent hard working waiting staff and a pretty decent show!Just over £20 each for a two course meal with champagne and a show.Great value!I was amazed that with all these sexy women on show, there was only about 5 blokes there in an audience of around 200!Guys, you are missing out!Definitely would return!

Booked this for my mum and dad for Xmas. They really enjoyed it and well worth the money. The meal was great value and they really enjoyed it. They went on the afternoon showing which meant they did not have to go out late at night ( they are in their 70’s). I have been looking for another deal to buy for them.

What a great find for an evening’s entertainment! The pop up steak night was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive and the entertainment pretty good! The only thing was atmosphere as it wasn’t busy and that was a shame for the acts! Would definitely come again.

I've been to the day time with kids and comedy night but this one was disappointing. To many intervals between dancers and didn't realise it was finished after the singer. Also we were cold. Prosecco wasn't very nice.

The place is an attractive venue, unfortunately we'd bought not cheap tickets for a comedy show which the management/staff decided to drown out with music from their bar. And if we weren't already having trouble enjoying the show we actually paid for above the music din, staff kept opening doors at either end just to double the music level every now and then. I've no idea why they thought it acceptable to play their music SO loudly right next to a comedian and the people who paid to hear him, but i wouldn't go back there for any act that they might drown out. Bad management decision.

We had a lovely Saturday afternoon at Wild Cabaret. This was a completely new experience for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The show was "interesting" and fun, surroundings pleasant and comfortable and the food and service were excellent. Would certainly recommend this to others.

So the concept of this is great but the delivery....not so much! Booked through 5pm.com for the half price offer, clearly stated afternoon or evening show on our chosen date. It was a birthday dinner so we had requested a booth, also due to a member of our party being injured for comfy seating. Arrived at venue and were seated on main floor, we advised we had requested a booth, we were moved only to be told that when show starts others will be seated with us. Now we didnt mind this, but did object to this happening during our meal, 4 starngers were seated beside us just watching us eat. There was a huge hen party in, im all for a good time but they were very loud and with it being a small venue it was off putting. The show its self was ok, bit starnge in parts but great singer!When it came to paying bill we noticed whe had been charge £50 pp as apposed to the offer of £25, we were told it did not apply to the night we booked, despite having the paperwork to prove it we had to argue inbetween performances with the manger, who was very underdressed and to be frank quite rude...although they did honour the discount in the end. All in all the lack of customer service, rushed meals, loud groups and a bit of a weird performance means that we would not go back...shame as the meal was nice (would not be worth full price)...it could be great but they do not have it cracked at all.

This review is so poor because the restaurant was closed on the day of our booking. 3 hungry and disappointed children under 5 years old and 5 adults that had to frantically try to find another restaurant for Sunday dinner. Please update your booking app when the place is shut!

Came for a special occasion with my friends. The entertainment was absolutely outstanding! We laughed out loud and gasped in awe! Food was nice, plenty choice. The staff were all very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back!

Our friends 60th birthday celebrations. What an absolutely fantastic day we had, totally unexpected but from start to end of our afternoon we could not fault anything. Went to the Wild Cabaret Noir night on saturday for a friends birthday. On entrance it's quite nice. However, service is shockingly slow. We were seated for 7:30 and given food menus, given one really hard to read drinks menu and then another drinks menu. Drinks order taken by 8pm, food order about 8.15 but then had no drinks delivered till nearly 8:45pm dinner served about 9pm. None of our group were served together since were all eating/not eating at different times. Drink prices are extortionate for not very much. 19.50 for a really nasty cheap bottle of rose wine. 45 quid for the cheapest steak and fries meal you will ever see..literally. it was basically a 2 min frying steak. Nothing worth the price. Well over 100 ton secure a table for the evening also. So not a pocket friendly evening and to top it off they have the cheek to charge over 50 quid for table service. The waitress done no more or less than any other waitress in any other restaurant, took ages to bring drinks a d seemed incredibly flustered. The show looked as though it had been thrown together in a few hour and very rushed. Costumes falling apart on stage and girls falling from heights in stilts made for a rather bizarre evening. It truly isn't worth the cost and I certainly wouldn't run back for more. The two stars are for the poor show girls and performers, they tried so hard and done their best but it was a bit of a shambles.

My self and my husband went for my husband birthday,first time we enjoyed the show,the service was bad,te food was very bad we ordered 2 burgers,was soo dry and overcooked that we couldn't cut by knife.

great way to be entertained while having lunch. the acts aren't brilliant, but it is an entertaining few hours of giggles and fun. lots of groups there for work dos hen dos that kind of thing. not rowdy at all just good fun times

Great big pub atmosphere is brilliant spotless staff are friendly love going in for lunch not to busy then food I will give full marks starts getting a bit busy about 5 during the week at the weekend gets busy earlier love music at the weekend.

We booked this as it was recommended to us from someone that had been for her hen do , when we arrived the show was ready to start (would help if that kind of Information was available when I booked so we could have booked earlier as eating in the dark is not a skill i posses) , the noise level from large groups and hen groups and work nights out - everyone seemed to be in groups ( would again be helpful to know as it’s off putting for a couples night out when you have to shout above the noise ) food was ok - no grumbles - Cabaret on the other hand was very dated ... a magician who quite obviously looked at the cards before being put in his pockets - comedian rolling out jokes that have been all over the Internet , old school dancing and a hula hooper with a large number of hoops tied together with fishing wire , nothing edgy or new or different, all

where do I start ??!! A Wednesday night ,Family visiting from Oz , head into town for a meal and some cabaret , what could go wrong ??

I enjoyed wild cabaret but booked a table for 1:15 and despite taking our orders promptly our starter of soup never arrived till 1:55 and our mains not till half 2 when the show had started. There were tables next to us that came in after us and had starters before us, we seemed to have been forgotten about and no explanation or apology given. I did enjoy the entertainment and the food itself but the service put a dampener on the day

Booked for out 'Date Night' and wasn't disappointed, and more importantly neither was the Wife! Good selection of acts and very entertaining, attentive staff and bar service, the food and selection of wine was to the standard you would expect of a cit center restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyable night out, and even considering taking the kids for the Sunday afternoon carvery!

The meal was steak & fries the steak was too tough even though we asked for it to be well done!!the fries looked & tasted like they were bought from McDonald’s. The place was half empty! The drinks were very expensive as they were only 4 vodkas and mixers. The compare had to keep swearing just to get people to laugh!! The acts were not up to the standard people expected!! Will not be recommending wild cabaret to any of our friends.

Excellent comedy evening with Janey Godley and other good acts. Janey was superbly funny. God is good value and very tasty. Service is good too. <br />A superb night

The cabaret was really nice and warm, we had amazing interactions and exchanges during the whole show. The quality wasn&#039;t incredible but I wasn&#039;t expecting Le Cirque du Soleil. The staff was very friendly and the food was very correct.

Had another brilliant night at the Kitsch Cabaret. Very talented acts, non stop laughs, great food and brilliant table service. Also a massive thanks to Paul who put his trust in me and helped out with a lost gift voucher. Not many businesses would do that. Will definitely be back again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ x

I had booked a dinner for Thursday night as we had wanted to see Janey Godley. For 4 days I phoned and never was the phone answered. I also emailed to check this and got no response. When we arrived we asked the girl who welcomed us (the manager) if Janey Godley was playing and she didn’t know!! That all felt like a bad start and was extremely frustrating. Food was good and entertainment too. Just think communication with customers could be better. At the very least... answering the phone.

Staff were courteous and efficient. I liked the ambience and the noise levels as well. The food was meh. Drinks were hit and miss. The show was ok as well. Loved that they brought the cake out at the end of the show and did a shoutout as well.

Utterly fabulous, host was brilliant and was a delight to interact with. Fizz went down beautifully, platter of nibbles was impressive and enjoyed thoroughly. Will most certainly be back for more

Amazing night, amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, amazing aesthetic !

We went as a group to the Sunday family lunch carvery. The show had started by the time we were going for our carvery. When we got up for our food there was no potatoes no yorkshire puddings so we had to wait quite a while. Food was very average had been sitting somewhere for quite a while. Drink very expensive and the show not really suitable for young children.

Entertainment was amazing but the food not so good , I preferred the comedy night food to be honest , Saturday night was a bit pricey bill for two coming in at £106

Tried for weeks to book via the phone as requested on the groupon voucher, never any answer. Tried contacting via their website, eventually they replied apologising that they were short staffed. Due to the length of time it took for them to respond they said they were fully booked up to our voucher date ending, therefore they offered to extend the voucher if I sent them a copy of the voucher, which I did. They cashed in the voucher and emailed me to say the voucher had been used! Shocking behaviour, do not go here! Fortunately groupon offered to credit my daughters account (she had bought me the voucher) and said they would investigate. Looks like they are struggling and are quite happy to rob you blind, thankfully groupon are reliable and trustworthy unlike Wild Cabaret!

We had booked a table for 14 at £45.00 for 2 courses. The decor is okay, but not as glamorous as I had hoped. The person looking after us was very nice, good communication skills and no complaints there. The food was very nice but 1 lady was kept waiting a good 5 minutes after everyone else had their meal. The drinks however were a rip off and they charged each person a £6 service charge. So 14 x 6 without our permission about what we were to tip - that's just too much! That brought the bill up to £51pp for 2 courses and a show that was okay plus drinks. I was embarrassed as few of the ladies were furious. The dance area is too small, one of the ladies got an elbow in her shoulder as there isn't enough room to dance for the number of seats. Sorry Wild Cabaret but I really think you need to consider your pricing for people that don't have a voucher and paying full price. I will not be recommending it.

Greeted and shown to table drinks order taken rose wine ordered and a Smirnoff vodka didn&#039;t sell Smirnoff vodka and red wine was brought to table when asked staff to change to rose which was ordered took 20 mins to bring rose. Food amazing and good portions ordered a Bacardi again 20 mins later a vodka was brought to table another 15 minute wait for to be changed to a bacardi

Great show thoroughly loved it the acts were good polly hoops was outstanding the magician and singer were good the comedian compare was excellent audience participation was good he was great with the crowd. Would recommend

Reading other reviews,I'd like to know HOW anybody managed to make a booking!After attempting to get an answer to phone calls, off and on, for months I tried messaging on FB.That DID get a response...curt,unhelpful...and then...NOTHING! I didn't hear anything again til MANY HOURS LATER...when I was informed for answers to any more questions, or to book, I should email.I did, and I asked that, in order to save having to go back and forth to find a mutually suitable date, they send me a list of available dates for the rest of the month, upon which time my voucher would expire. Or, I suggested, they could call me.

We had another great night at Wild Cabaret......was very quiet not a busy night at all, however we all still had a great time. Will be back soon.

What a wonderful evening! A lovely welcome on arrival and a large booth reserved for our party of 6. Staff were attentive and made sure our needs were catered for. Enjoyed the eclectic mix of entertainment and in particular the compere who was a wonderful host. Definitely recommend this to a friend.

Myself and my maid of honour booked my hen night months in advance for approx 22 people adding on another 2 at a later date. We paid £14.95 per head (2 course meal and show) upfront and another £10 per head to hire the front area (wild lounge) for when the show finished. When asked what would happen to the extra £10 per person for reserving the front lounge we were told that this would go behind the bar for when we come out of the show and we would have this money to spend as a bar tab. £358 + £240 ..... simple maths i hear you say! You would think!!! The show was fantastic and the food was delicious!! As it was table service only, at the end of the show, we paid for our drinks bills separately as two tables - approx £77 for one table and £40 for the other (£20 tip also given). Our meals had all been paid upfront as stated above and no-one added any extra food on. As we were about to move through to our reserved lounge our waiter informed us that there was £100 behind the bar for us to use in the front lounge. I corrected him and stated that there should be £240 behind the bar. He explained that he was only informing me of what his manager, Chelsea (person we had booked with and i'd had been emailing back and fourth)had told him. He said he would speak to her and come back to me. He came back and said that no, it was £100 that was behind the bar. I went to speak with Chelsea with my maid of honour the attitude we were met with was unbelievable!! Speaking to us like were stupid and basically calling us liars. Told us that she informed us at he time of booking that it would be £100 behind the bar!!.... no infact, that was an example you used at the time of booking as a round number to explain to us how it would work!! We were also hit with a £55 service charge which we were not informed of at any point and was not in any of the small print in the emails sent.We had to argue for almost 30mins of my hen party whilst leaving the rest of my party out in the front lounge not knowing what was going on and thinking all of our money was behind the bar as planned. Chelsea then took the two drinks bill receipts from my mum as my mum was trying to explain that we had already paid our drinks bills, and took them in the back. She then emerged 5-6 mins later and when my mum explained about the drinks bills she was told "well i don't know where they are"...my mum then told her she had just given her them and was told again, "well i don't know where they are"....Basically they had buggered up and didn't want to admit it! To you and I its simple maths, but they weren't getting it, or knew exactly what was happening but didn't want to admit it. They were adamant that we hadn't paid the amount we stated, even though we had receipts and emails to prove this! Half an hour later our waiter came out and handed us a glass with money in it and apologised. We never received the £140 that we were missing, we were £60 short! I had had enough and couldn't believe i had to deal with this on my hen night! We drank the £100 behind the bar and went elsewhere......where may i add we spent hundreds of pounds the whole night! We planned to stay all night in Wild Cabaret but not after the treatment we received. None of us will be back and id advise anyone looking to book any sort of party or function in there to be on your guard! On a side note, Chelsea also asked my 80 year old granny on the way in if she had any blow up cocks in her bag!...if so she was do leave them at the door as they didn't allow anything like that!.....DISGUSTING!!!!

Great night as always on a Thursday evening. Food and service excellent, comedy is hilarious. Fantastic value for money too.

This was our first visit to Wild Cabaret for the comedy night on Thursday and we really enjoyed our meal, staff wee very attentive with excellent service! We will definitely be back... thanks for such a fantastic night.

I was really disappointed with the acts as it was the same in the second half as it was in the first half. The food was nice and it was good that children are free but the break dragged on a bit with people going up to get their food when we went early for our food. Also it was next door to Celtic put during a game which was really noisy as the game was on which was off putting with supporters also able to use the adjoining toilets. Drinks were really expensive and the children&#039;s ice-cream for what they got was tiny. Bottle of wine £20.

Enjoyable day out,lovely food,nice venue to see something different.
