A Lovely venue with very attentive staff who were so helpful x good was just delicious 😋 so went two nights in a row x just absolutely gorgeous food

Couldn’t have asked for anything more! We didn’t book and were lucky to get a table on a Friday night. We had starters of Bao buns and chicken tacos- these were HUgE! Then lamb and a beef pie, both of which really tasty. Quick service and great atmosphere. We’ll be back!!

Family visit, during October 2023. Arrived early and happily seated. Lovely, friendly staff throughout the stay. Great atmosphere in the pub, as it became busier during our visit. A real 'local' feeling, but welcoming of us 'out-of-towners!' Food was impeccable, clearly with attention to local ingredients. The best of our holiday. Some nice local cask ales also. Strongly recommended - we'll be back without a doubt when we're in the area.

Looked at reviews for best places to eat in the area. Was one of the few pubs who actually served lunch in the are when we visited in mid October. The food was delicious, I had the Fish Pie and my partner had the Chicken Ballantine, both arrived piping hot. Highly recommended.

Booked a table for 3 for Sunday, 8th October. Very busy place and booking is a must. Shown to a table upstairs. Lovely young waitress and waiter looking after upstairs. We had turkey, pork and beef. The food was lovely. So much variety. Cauliflower cheese, parsnips, mash potatoes, roast potatoes and extra jug of gravy. We were absolutely stuffed. The young waiter was so good. Asked us a couple of times if everything was ok. My husband moaned to me that the knife was useless at cutting the beef up but refused to ask for a steak knife! We will come back again very soon.

My fiancée and I called in for Sunday lunch on a wet, windy weekend. We hadn’t booked, but were greeted and settled on a freshly-cleaned table. The pub was busy (we were lucky to get a table), and the staff were friendly, welcoming and working hard. We had starters and a Sunday dinner and both were lovely. A couple of pints of Cwrw Llyn’s Seithenyn went down well. A really lovely Sunday lunch - Diolch yn fawr!

Wow,this is the place to eat in Pwllheli. Great menu,local produce, and really friendly and attentive staff. It's definitely worth a visit .You won't be disappointed.

Nice place, friendly staff. A number of us had the fish pie which was really tasty, had plenty of fish in proportion to potatoes, just a little on the small side for the price. One of our party wanted to order the burger but there weren’t any left which I thought a little odd for a Thursday afternoon for a place that advertises the local produce.
