Amazing evening st the Game and Wine event at The Wheatsheaf in Esher. Superb food and wine. The service was equally as good. Thank you to Hannah and Sam 😊

Came in after the cinema for pre-dinner drinks followed by a meal in the restaurant. Lovely friendly service at the bar from Oli, followed by equally good service from Sam during our meal. The chicken schnitzel was out of this world, served with dauphinois potatoes and kale. I am definitely planning to return for that again! We also ordered the sausage & mash which too was delicious. Nice and busy with a great atmosphere for a Thursday. Love this place.

We had a wonderful evening last night in the private room at The Wheatsheaf. 20 of us had drinks and delicious shared platters and bar food. Hannah, Mischa and Zee were so helpful in organising the evening and we were brilliantly looked after by them and all the lovely staff on the evening. Wow my Buddy and I went last night wandered in to be greeted by a smiling lovely Hannah, what service she ushered us to our table, got us a drink ,explained the menu to us, then explained the specials, recommended the duck, so I had that, brilliant suggestion exquisite. Hannah is a complete star at the Wheatsheaf, dont let her go anywhere else, you are very lucky to have her there. Nigel

Great service, great food. Took 3 friends to this pub come restaurant and ll we’re very impressed. Had liver and bacon on a bed of spinach and mash. Was delightful. Needed to book well in advance because it is very popular. Parking is limited so early arrival is dviseable

As a regular visitor to the Wheatsheaf I am particularly impressed with the consistency of the welcome, the atmosphere, the service & the quality of the food at this friendly GastroPub located beside the picturesque village green. I’m confident that whenever I take friends to the Wheatsheaf that they will really enjoy themselves & that is what is most important to me.

Another wonderful dinner at the Wheatsheaf with Alice as our server. We had the Wheatsheaf Burger and the Cheesecake for dessert. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all great as usual! We will be back in the near future!

A very good experience. An interesting menu, very good service in a cosy environment but sufficient space between tables to make conversation easy. Attractive paintings on the walls.

This is the second year we have visited The Wheatsheaf for a fantastic night out. There were three of us for the evening meal and once again the food and service were fantastic. A big shout out to Sam and Meisha who served us on the night and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent service, ask for Sam Genuine sea caught hake👌 was delicious. BTW when enquired I learned that the Sea Bass was farmed which is now very common even at the very high end. Calamari - was not the best. I will find again.

Due to move first visit for 4 years, still excellent, hard to believe it had improved - now a Youngs pub, so great beer, excellent food and service. You'll never leave hungry, the portions are impressive, won't be long for another visit.
