Wetherspoons the Great Glen in Highland

Visited today for a quick snack . Nachos to share were disgusting. Nachos were cold, couldn’t see any cheese and the dips were thrown on the top not even stirred so just dollops . The table was wobbly so they had magazines trying to stabilise it. Radiator was leaking so our feet got wet? The manager didn’t seem too bothered when I highlighted all this ? Unacceptable! Stay clear 😂

Went there sat afternoon to watch Wales play rugby as it's advertised everywhere young boy behind bar turned up volume for us to watch 2 mins later management turned it off disgusting me and partner left drinks on table and walked out what a way to treat customers

Came in just after lunch after a visit to Fort William- weather was really bad so the place was extremely busy . This being said there was plenty of seating, food was absolutely fine and an excellent selection of wines. The staff here were really nice too. Thank you!

Called in here on a few occasions since it opened. I always hope there will be an improvement, but it remains consistently below average. Poor choice of Real Ale & semi-warm breakfasts seem to be the norm. Last visit here was with family member & we were both distinctly underwhelmed. Previous visit with a friend who is a big Wetherspoons aficionado rated it 65th out of the 66 he’d visited!! Plenty of better options in Fort William.

I would say this was a functional Wetherspoons, adequate but I wouldn't rush back. Food was passable but no more, service was reasonable, it was busy but managed to find a table. Food prices have really gone up in Wetherspoons so the value isn't what it was hence my mixed review. I went elsewhere for the other 2 nights I stayed in Fort William.

Worst place I’ve have eaten in, how the food can be freshly cook when it comes out as fast as it did is beyond me and to top it off I was extremely unwell after eating there and a few of my friends had upset stomach’s

This is a really good Wetherspoons. The food is very good and the beer is kept well. The staff really work hard to make your visit a good experience. The duty manager when we visited in the evenings (Jacob) went out of his way to help with advice on everything we asked him. Well worth a visit when your in Fort William.

Don’t eat here!Service officious sent away to wait 3 mins to order to fit their timing. In 60 mins not 1 table wiped down! A pool of coffee sat while the table was renewed 3 times. I eventually offered some sanitary wipes to a couple who looked very uncomfortable about the coffee and after wiping it up placed them on my own plate which was finished. The only way it got dealt with. Unhygienic table service so hope the kitchen is better.

There is not much to say other than it is your usual run-of-the-mill Spoons. The food was pretty mediocre as you'd normally expect - slightly better than school cafeteria food, but not restaurant-quality. You can get unlimited coffee / hot chocolate etc. which you get yourself from a self-serve machine. This was great. The service was smiley and friendly. The highlight was that the table next to us ordered too many chips and so gave us theirs - thank you v. much whoever you were! You were a lovely family :)

Spectacular customer service from Jacob who was knowledgeable about our wine and ale preferences. It was refreshing to speak to a real person. The pub is well proportioned and has some quiet areas. Staff were extremely attentive to cleanliness when they weren’t serving. Probably the best Wetherspoon pub I’ve visited.

11am Saturday morning. Over 20 min wait.Food sat on hotplate along with about 8 other breakfasts.Cold when arrived.Not kitchen fault. Definitely waiting staff, but place wasn't busy.

We left when we realised how they had hiked the prices up due to it being in Fort William. Spoons food is spoons food wherever you are in the UK but 3 small plates for £18.75 when its £14 in our local one made us check the menu and realise everything had been hiked up by 3 or 4 quid. We had a drink and went elsewhere. Something for us to bare in mind next time we visit a spoons in a tourist spot.

My wife and I came to Wetherspoons Fort William on the way home from a trip further up north. We were immediately pleasantly surprised by the decor, it was definitely one of the nicest Wetherspoons we have ever visited. The food was lovely, bathrooms immaculate and we had zero complaints. What absolutely blew us away however were the staff. In front of us were a family who could not speak English, the lady who served them broke into a different language which we assumed to be Gaelic but when it was our turn I enquired and she informed me that it was Spanish. She was patient and friendly and said that she was learning other languages so that she could help tourists to order. I don’t usually get round to reviewing eateries but I was so impressed with the staff here that it felt rude not to. Bravo

Quick service, clean, does what it says on the tin.... Prices for food and drink are always competitive and the quick food service is great when you're hungry.

We popped in here and was surprised! Ordered food via app. No problems. Food was good, pizzas were good and burger was tasty. Could not fault and if you want something super fancy this is not your place! But friendly staff and good food and in a great location makes it a great place to go! First Wetherspoon!

Horrible. Dirty tables, horrible Covid ordering interface and sections of the menu ‘unavailable’. We left without ordering and went to a restaurant with a regard for customer service and cleanliness. Won’t be back.
