I bought here twice in the last two weeks and both times the food was great! I had the chicken burger twice and each time was really good! They forgot something and it was with e within 10 mins! the garlic bread with cheese was delicious! Mine was a delivery. The kids meal with fish I had the first time was very nice size and great tasting.

I popped into this chipshop as we had a powercut in the afternoon and I offered my elderly neighbour a fish supper at night once my wife got home, regardless of the electricity coming back on or not, to help put her mind at ease in hoping to eat a hot or cold dinner. Anyway after the wife came home, I popped out to this chippy. The place ( as in location and not the fish plaice 🐟 ;-) ) was warm, very clean, well lit inside, and the menu is very easy to navigate with your eyes to find what you would like to eat. The staff are very helpful, happy, warm and friendly. I ordered 3 fish suppers, and 2 extra portion of chips. I didn't wait long for the fresh battered fish and chips to be cooked. We chatted about looking after our elderly neighbours, and she said her Dad does this as well. I requested if she could make a mark on the wrapping paper of the fish supper without vinegar for my elderley neighbour, which the smiley young lady did so for me, as my wife and I had salt and vinegar put on our suppers. I left and dropped off a fish supper to our elderly neighbour before heading into my house with our suppers, ( I refused to accept any money off our neighbour when offered). Our fish suppers were amazingly tasty, fish and chips cooked perfectly. My wife received a phone call later from our elderly neighbour that she really really enjoyed them. So to the staff at the chipshop, keep up with the cracking good work in producing excellent cooked food. Service with natural smiles and genuine warm welcoming customer service. If you've driven up from the South from the central belt and want to get a nice hot meal in Inverness or heading further North without any fuss, I recommend you head to this chip shop. It's just about 3 to 5 minutes off the A9. Directions: It's just off the A9 heading North. Turn off at the first junction for Milton Of Leys/Culloden prior to driving on the downhill slope for Inverness. Take the 3rd exit on the roundabout for Culloden / Culloden Battlefield Next roundabout, 1st exit, Culloden / Culloden Battlefield, follow the road all the way down. At the end of the Giveway "T" junction, turn right for Culloden / Culloden Battlefield Then take the 6th junction on the left for Smithton / Culloden / Balloch, follow the road Take the 3rd junction on the right immediately after the pedestrian traffic lights. Head up the road slowly and take the 1st junction on the right, and you'll be at the parking for the chipshop and the shops. I'll definitely be returning to this chip shop in 2021.

We ate here last night, 2/11. We believe this is a temporary venue for this fabulous restaurant whilst their other premises are being renovated. We were warmly greeted and seated in a busy restaurant that had a warm and friendly feel. All the food sounded delicious especially the specials. Of the three of us I was the only one to have a starter - the hot smoked salmon tart - delicious! Crisp pastry, tasty hot smoked salmon and rich veloute. My dad the venison which was rich and soft - melt in your mouth tenderness. Whilst my husband a generous portion of seafood pasta - it was tasty, hot and very fresh - he said it was amazing. I had the monkfish special - loin wrapped in Parma ham with scallops. Again delicious! Service was the right mix of friendly and competent. A lovely restaurant serving very delicious food. We will visit again if we are up in Fort William.

Stayed at a nearby B&B, so ate dinner here. Had fish and chips, which was lovely, and the best dessert I’ve had this holiday. Small place, so need to book. Unfortunately, not open on a Sunday or Monday.

This restaurant is permanently closed. It’s a shame that the owner hasn’t made this clear on this site
