Fab!!! Right there at Dunluce Castle, fortify your self before visiting the castle. Friendly and cozy! Decor is Vintage OTT, but it works! Try to get the divan by the wee fireplace. Scones are beautiful with traditional trimming. Good hot coffee and tea! When we have visitors we always bring them to the Wee Cottage!

Eravamo in quattro. Unico appunto si sono dimenticati di portarmi una zuppa e quindi ho mangiato il panino alle patatine( c erano anche le patatine rovesciate ) , consigliamo!! Ciaooooo

We were brought here by our tour guide, Alister, and had the nicest lunch. The staff is very friendly and and makes one feel right at home. Best freshest dessert scone we EVER had in our lives. With nice weather, we got to sit outside under shade umbrellas, very lovely. Right across the road from Dunluce Castle, so a good location for touring the area from Giants Causeway . A definite must stop if you are in the area, and we like supporting local businesses.

We absolutely loved eating and having tea in the Wee cottage. It is right outside of Dunluce Castle and had yummy tomato soup. Tea came with a teapot and cute tea cup to enjoy a brew while it was raining outside. Note that it got very busy after we sat down with a tour bus stopping in for a meal. The atmosphere was very cozy, I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Dunluce Castle, Giant's Causeway, or Carrick-a-rede.

Darling interior with sofa sitting area in front of fireplace as well as tables. Perfect for afternoon tea! They also serve lunch. The sandwiches, although fresh with great bread, were somewhat tasteless and really needed some spices. The fresh tomato soup was good but heavy handed on the sugar content. The restaurant is right at the Castle Dunluce location so very convenient. Hardworking staff was very friendly. I’m giving 4 stars because it’s so cute and maybe the food is just typically English.

On a rainy day twelve of us (six adults, six children) decided to pop in for a fortifying cuppa prior to visiting the castle. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were wonderfully patient as we tried to figure out what to feed everyone. Portions were fabulous and food was delicious. The tea and coffee were free flowing and the prices were very reasonable. Plenty of books and comfortable seats for adults and children alike. The character of a wee tea room is evident in the food, decor and amazing hospitality.so much more atmosphere than any chain coffee shop. Staff went over and above to make sure the children were well catered to. The only, very minor, issue is that you can only pay by cash.

I popped in with my two kids as one of them was hungry and it was right beside Dunluce Castle, where I wanted to get some photos of them. The service was prompt and polite, and the raspberry roulade was amazing!! My youngest devoured a beautifully presented cheese and ham sandwich, while my eldest enjoyed her cup of tea. This wasn’t my first visit here, and it certainly won’t be my last.

What a place. A mish mash of bits and pieces decorate the place. There is a couch by a fire. The scones are fresh and covered in fresh strawberries and cream. The staff are friendly and direct - lovely genuine decent people who spoiled our two girls. I also saw them giving short shrift to some time wasting young fellas. As I said, direct genuine people, great craic and super scones. I look forward to coming back. Now officially my favorite coffee shop!

We have eaten scones and tea all over the earth at this point and nothing can beat the experience at the Wee Cottage with its view of Dunluce Castle, the warm welcome at the counter, asking my husband "Shall you be Mother?" on delivering our tea....this is the most unforgettable place and experience. My husband and I had the scones and it was all wee needed for lunch with tea.....our daughter had a bite of them and then a great sandwhich on homemade bread. We bought a few cards, our daughter bought a print, and we left with wonderful shortbread that we enjoyed back home in the US!! Only sad part was that I left behind my beautiful large shawl that I knitted just to wear in Ireland....

We were visiting the castle and, as I know it well, I opted to have a cuppa at the Wee Cottage tea room. It is certainly handy for the castle (and its car park). It is cosy inside and has some picnic tables outside. It was very friendly and efficient - and met my needs perfectly. As a "bonus" you can use their loo only, reasonably enough, if you are a customer. If you are visiting the castle (a must-see place) then do make sure you get your tea and cake here.

We ordered 2 ham & cheese sandwiches and 1 bottle of water and this costed 18€. The exchange rate from pounds to euros that they applied was 1.4, much higher than the official rate (1,12). When we told the lady she just started to shout and told us that at the Giant's Causeway they even had a worse exchange rate, as if this justified their error! As the ladies had shouted at us and treated us awfully, we asked for the complaints book, and she gave us the visitors book...! A part from their rudeness, they forgot to serve us one of the two sandwiches and didn't apologize.

My hiking companion and I were hiking the 14+ miles from the Devil's Causeway to Portstewart. On the way we came to Dunluce Castle and decided to investigate. When we walked up to the parking lot for the castle, there was The Wee Cottage. Intrigued by the name we decided to go inside. Were we glad that we did! What a wonderfully charming and welcoming interior; the fire in the fireplace was especially inviting on a cold, blustery day. I ordered a mocha and a muffin, which came to the table after being warmed and decorated. My companion had a scone and chai tea, which she concluded was one of the best chai teas she had ever had! Well ... there are scones ... and then their are the scones served at Wee Cottage. My hiking companion and I ate a lot of scones during our 2 weeks of hiking. The scone my companion had at Wee Cottage was not the best scone we experienced in Ireland (that honor goes to the scone we tasted at the Gresham Hotel in Dublin), but the Wee Cottage wins 1st prize for the best presented scone (see photo). This small cottage has a very friendly owner and an enchanting atmosphere. It was one of our favorite places encountered on our hiking holiday. Excellent value. Visit this hidden gem if you can.

Served with proper tea In a teapot and fab coffee too. All round a great place to eat! We had the sheep to pat too!

Nach dem Besuch des Dunluce Castle gönnten wir uns Kaffee und Kuchen. Der Kuchen war sehr lecker, der Kaffee okay. Es gibt schöne Souvenirs, handmade...Haarklammern und Armbänder...

Made a stop on our walking tour of the Northern Coast. Cosy, rustic interior, friendly staff and simple but good food.

It's not gourmet, but it's what I would call comfort food. All fresh, well prepared, and very good. It's right by Dunluce castle ruins so its an easy stop, however be aware its a small place and will get full quick. Would recommend to call ahead if you can. We would go again. Highly recommend.

We called for scones and coffee after visiting Dunluce Castle which is directly across the road. The cottage is small and quaint. There's plenty of quirky items inside to look at as well as a small but expensive gift shop. The homemade scones were beautiful. Coffee not too bad. Staff friendly enough. I thought the bill was highly overpriced, even the lady at the till said she'd price it again as it seemed a bit much. Fine for a holiday treat.

We came here back in October 2014 with friends who had retired back home. We returned again today for great food and what joy one of the locals regaled us with tunes on the flute.

We did not eat there, but my wife did a bit of shopping. It was very small but they had some nice things.

Popped in to tea and hot chocolate to warm us up after surfing that morning and in preparation for coasteering that afternoon. The cottage is beside Dunluce Castle which is an amazing location, The service was brilliant and the drinks very nice, especially the super hot chocolates. The place was quite busy and the food also look very good. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped in the Wee Cottage on a ride along the Antrim Coast. It was our first visit here but it won't be our last. The scones were out of this world, the place is cozy and confortable. It was like a vist to Grandma's house. Absolutely enjoyable.

If you are looking for good scones look no further! I ordered a scone with coffee not expecting to be served an exceptional homemade scone just out of the oven with homemade raspberry jam, fresh cream and dusted with icing sugar. The lady who served me was called Hazel and she was full of charm. The team at the Wee Cottage are an asset to the north coast and our tourism industry. If going to Dunluce Castle make sure and stop at Wee Cottage for a little piece of homemade charm.

We popped in post "castling" and before we went off to other spots and had a fabulous meal; just enough and a price that can't be matched at many tourist spots! The addition of staff who were welcoming, warm and witty makes it a place to visit.

So we eat in here very regularly and the only downside is there isn't much room to sit in but take out suits us as we usually come in once a week after pick up from school or before hand and grab our little ones a "picnic" - kids meal (sand which drink and cookie) and they love it and myself and partner who are fussy eater and chef really like the food it's all fresh and hot and usually a good variety on throughout the day and reasonably priced - just what you want

We hadn't been in this restaurant for years. Called today and had French Toast, Bacon & Maple Syrup. Cost was £7. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.
