Run by the same family as the Wavecrest Cafe , out of a mobile catering unit which means it is open even if the cafe is closed . It’s an open air setting with tables in the sun opposite We were given a friendly welcome tea and two delicious home made cakes. The selection was fantastic, all home made, plenty of variety so if you prefer not to have too much icing on your cake there is Welsh honey cake or lemon cake and yummy Bara Brith served hot. Dogs are welcome. Good value for money

We called in for a cup of coffee on the last day before they closed for the winter. It is a lovely place. Great staff, great coffee and cakes etc. But they also serve what looks like delicious meals. We wanted to use it as a lunch stopover when walking the next day and were really disappointed to learn they were closing that day for the winter. Check on opening times but would highly recommend.

Pete's Burger Bar

04/11/2018: Not the first time we have been here but consistently good.
20/11/2018: Wow, this place is great. Fantastic food at the best price. We have stayed on Holy Island for a holiday with Friends and the dogs twice now in the past 3 years and this place is the most talked about aspect of the visit. Constantly we are heard to say “as long as we can go to Pete’s “ or “Need a Pete’s after that walk”. I can’t believe there are any negative reviews about these guys, we love em to bits. Sounds crazy to rant on about a burger van but think of it this way....when you want great food with no frills and an amazing view, where could be better. The Michelin guide needs to have a van section. Belly buster is a must, you won’t eat anything else that day . Thanks again guys....see you next time.

Liverpool Arms

27/12/2018: The seasonal set menu was the best that we'd looked at. The reality did not disappoint. The staff are so friendly & accommodating. The food lived up to expectations. So many times in the past we've been let down at other places. We'll def go there again. The sorbets were divine.
03/11/2018: In Menai for the school half term, and popped in here for a quick drink after booking the rib ride. Very friendly and polite welcome. Good beer. A nice little local and seemed family friendly as we have a 13yr old and 11yr old, so a bit wary of rowdy local pubs. Only 5 mins walk to our cottage, so we came back in the week for an evening meal. Sat in the snug, brilliant service and well looked after all evening. Food very good, I had large fish and chips, which was delicious, others had roast beef and burgers, which they all enjoyed too. I was stuffed, but the rest of family had puddings, 2x rounds of drinks too, think was about £75. A very enjoyable evening, would definitely go back if in Menai again.
