6 of us came for lunch on a wet Sunday. Really friendly welcome (makes all the difference). Good choice of options although not that much for vegans. 2 of the 6 of us had dairy allergy and they struggled a bit. To be fair they tried to accommodate and were super helpful, just not many standard options to cater for vegans or dairy intolerant people. The scones were AMAZING. I had gammon main and that was great. The Prawns Marie were disappointing, looked a big dish but it was mainly salad and pasta, hardly any prawn. Would I come back, yes definitely. Just need to pick the right thing. Lovely setting too. Can't quite give it a 5* but a good 4*

We called in for a cup of coffee on the last day before they closed for the winter. It is a lovely place. Great staff, great coffee and cakes etc. But they also serve what looks like delicious meals. We wanted to use it as a lunch stopover when walking the next day and were really disappointed to learn they were closing that day for the winter. Check on opening times but would highly recommend.

The Crown

17/08/2018: The steak and ale pie was tasty and full of steak, and the other meals at the table went down well too The local beer made from New Zealand hops was great, can’t recall the name, but had a purple moose on the logo
05/09/2018: A friendly pub used by locals and holiday makers. A varied menu of good honest pub grub and real ales from North Wales breweries including Purple Moose. Dogs welcome in two of the bars and the garden but not restaurant.

Sosban and The Old Butchers Restaurant

23/09/2018: OK - so you have to book months in advance meaning my expectations were very high, and often I've found that in these cases your expectations exceed reality - but NOT here.
29/08/2018: We had to book a few months in advance to get a reservation here ,cosy room did not seat too many which I like . The food was so good so different I did not leave anything I loved all the courses , It was expensive but saying that I would love to go back and I'm sure I will, I have not eaten at a Michelin star restaurant before so the experience was all new to me I can only say it's a must and I can't wait to go back ,service excellent very friendly .
