Wandering Dragon in Gedling

Absolutely horrendous service. Placed an order at 7.30. Wasn’t delivered by 9. Called the restaurant and told me it had been delivered to the wrong address but it ‘wasn’t their fault’. No offer of refund, only to cancel my order. Will never order from this place again.

Never ordered from here so thought I'd try it and won't order from here again. Full review & photos on Google.

The chow mein wasn’t very nice at all, the ribs were lovely though.

food came on time. prawn crackers were stale, small (I mean a really small pack) and cost £3. The rest of the good wasn't great, just greasy and not very tasty

Food was cold by the time it got to us

The food was so dry.. every single one.. the wings, ribs, the rice, the shredded chicken, the vermicelli… I really feel like I have just wasted my money!!! Definitely not going to ordering again

Lovely food. Fast delivery. When an item was accidentally forgotten they kindly came back to drop off the item. Thank you. We enjoyed our food and overall we had a happy evening.

Chicken balls were really good rest was pretty meh, if I lived close by I'd probably just walk by too grab some. Delivery driver was rude, came nearly 50 mins early then started complaining down the phone about how I didn't hear him and then complained about it further till the food was in my hand storming of still stropping about it.

Best pancake roll in 20 years sliced red chilli would make it perfect

Great food,polite driver.i have tried a Chinese takeaway recently that I used to get a lot of the time but it's gone down hill so went with Wandering Dragon and can't fault it.

Had better from here. Nothing tasted fresh. Some of the order was missing so we had to call and tell them. They did replace the missing item but we had eaten everything else before we got it.

I ordered the salt & pepper crispy shredded chicken and asked for it without chillies.. This was taken too far though and there was no veg in it at all.. no onions, green pepper or sliced carrot as there usually is. it was very dry, bland & not appetising at all. i'm a very regular customer & i'm hopeful this was just a mistake and it won't happen again. :(

Dry, bland food. Chips and chicken felt like they were cooked last year. It’s expensive for poor quality food

the chicken is good from here. wish that they would bring back crispy shredded beef. its been off the menu for over a year now as 'unavailable'

They delivered earlier. That's great. Also the best Chinese since HoLok. The satay chicken skewers had pineapple and cucumber just like HoLok used to make it. Their satay cause was really good as well. Beef chow mein was a hood size portion and was as good as it gets. They are the best Chinese I've had in Hucknall. All of this gives them an A+ from me.

Noodles were nice, so was the meat, but the chips were unpleasant - almost no salt and pepper and tasted like they were cooked yesterday. Shame the chips were so inedible, the rest of the meal was nice.

I think I've found my new go to chinese takeaway! I had beef chow mein and beef and broccoli in oyster sauce! Absolutely delightful, delicious and so flavourful... I will be ordering again!

I was disappointed with the quarter of duck on this occasion which I have purchased many times from wandering Dragon and always been satisfied with my purchase but on this occasion it was very dry and tough and I did not enjoy it. I am hoping this was just a one off bad experience as I’ve always enjoyed the quality of the food at wandering Dragon

Bland and tasteless food. 8 whole cloves of garlic in a single dish that somehow managed to taste like nothing is incredulous. Overrated

Consistently early delivery and top notch food!

Food came after 2 hours. Although this was stated after purchase, I still think it’s a really long time to wait on a Thursday evening. The food was then cold and hard like it had been sat there for a while. An item was also missing from our order. When I called to say, it took 25 minutes and another phone call to come, at which point we’d eaten and didn’t touch the missing item. This is a shame as this is usually our go to Chinese.

Wow just wow I had the Crispy chicken peking style and egg fried rice not had it in years and it was really nice very tasty and loads of chicken

Ordered chow mein and it was basically dry thin noodles with some beef and vegetable on top in a cold sauce. Food looked and tasted old. The food also came in 15 mins yet was cold. Wouldn’t order from here again. Terrible

I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I always find myself coming back here. The salt and pepper chicken is the best, there's little chilli rings in there to eat with the chicken it's perfect. The chicken chow mein ISN'T just a box of chunky greasy noodles and chicken, it's noodles with the sauce and veg so it actually feels like a fulfilling meal. This is genuinely my favourite Chinese

The food arrived 5 minutes earlier than expected. But the food was just ok...nothing really bad but the prawn satay was a little greasy and seemed like it needed more salt. large pancake roll was ok. boiled rice was fluffy as you would expect. 6/10

Terrible over 2 hours late. Food arrived watery and cold and it’s disgusting, food was inedible just literally couple pieces of meat and vegetables swimming in oil and water. Would not recommend. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Fabulous food but this restaurant does not update the app so you receive your food when not prepared for it.

Food was a little on the cool side, wasn't greasy. Rice was nice, the beef was a little fatty. Chicken balls were too big, and the batter wasn't cooked inside crispy outside. Chowmein was nice. The delivery driver was lovely and polite. Food was packaged well, with no spillages. Arrived on time! Happy New Year to you all.

Food arrived early. The driver paid attention to delivery instructions and was respectful, polite and friendly. The food was hot and fresh and came with a cute fortune cookie and some prawn crackers! We ordered the chicken wings as part of the order and the batter was yummy on them. We thought that the salt and pepper chips weren't as full in flavour as we hoped but still yummy nonetheless. :)

Didn’t read my dietary requirements at all. Chicken was horrible and dry. Chips were hard and cold. Normally good here but this was awful and I won’t be going back

First order, quite disappointing really. The Vegetarian meal was freshly cooked, no complaints. The Duck & Pork Chow Mein, wasn't great. The meat was really fatty, and quite tough, really dry. I wont order again, really disappointing
