If you're really keen on eating this restaurant's food, i would recommend getting back home and order Deliveroo from here. I assure it will arrive earlier. You'll probably wait at least 10 mins to be seated, another 20 mins to catch someone's attention to get your order. To be clear, I cannot blame staff here, but it is pretty clear that they need more people to run this size of a restaurant. After 30 mins, if you are patient enough to place your order finally, you should be ready to wait for another 30 mins for your food on the table. Remember the beginning? Yes, ordering from Deliveroo or whatever is absolutely quicker. The most I like with this branch is, it is full of surprises. If you're lucky, you can catch someone's attention again and ask for the desert you have ordered earlier. Be ready to hear the answer that desert is not available. I was so exhausted to argue, resigned to my fate and paid the full amount. If you are eager to argue, it might be funny as well. next time for sure I'll try it.

Came in early to ask specifically what time they take their last table. Was told last orders are at 9.50pm as they shut at 10. Turned up at 9.30 and was refused a table. We come in here all the time and was appalled by the rude waitress who met us on the door. How can your times online and the times told by staff who are actually working not add up. Something tells me by the attitude on the waitress that they just wanted to go home early this night.

The service was great, however the food was not. I've been to a few Wagamamas and this is the worst. The flavours were massively lacking in the tofu hot pot which I loved before at another Wagamama, and the bang bang cauliflower was cut too large and undercooked, again contributing to a lack of flavour. Like I said, I've massively enjoyed these dishes elsewhere so it was specifically a problem at this branch. Also the gaps between tables are too narrow meaning people including children pushing past each other right next to where you're sat, if they just moved the tables away slightly it would be more comfortable.

The disabled toilet was block ( the was no sogn on the door) the water was up to the top of the bowl, there was poo all over the toilet and the floor was flooded, the main toilets weren’t any better, they stank, didn’t flush and no soap

First of all, the service was really poor. No one ever came up to check in with how we were doing during the whole stay. The guy serving our food literally threw the things on the table. We ordered the Bao buns with duck, and I would not recommend it at all. It had almost no filling, was really tasteless and the duck itself was the driest thing I’ve ever eaten. We had one Chili chicken ramen - the broth really tasteless, also with dry chicken. We also had one Gyoza ramen with chicken. The ramen noodles were over cooked, but the broth was tasting okay with a good amount of spice, and the gyoza dumplings had raw onion in them, so they weren’t completely cooked. But the sauce that came with the dumplings tasted really good and was probably the only thing out everything we ordered that I actually enjoyed. So overall, bad experience both with the service and the food. But the menu had a lot of different options and the restaurant itself was pretty nice.

The food is amazing as always, however the service left us rather underwhelmed. We waited 30 minutes to order since seating with no apology for the wait. If it was busy I would understand but it wasn't and plenty of people got served before us. When we finally got to order we felt rushed despite being left so long. On top of that we were never asked about allergies or if we knew how things worked upon seating, just given the menus and walked away without a word. Never told the table number in order to pay or given our servers name, we had to ask for the table number from one of the other waitresses in order to pay for our meal. The only saving grace was a waitress Ingra who was lovely. She checked on us and took a real interest in our table, very kind and professional. Followed procedures and made us feel welcomed throughout, shame she wasn't our server.

I wish i went to Banana tree, which is 1 min walk from this establishment. Went there during the weekend and took an overseas visitor for a nice meal (what i thought would be a nice meal, like it used to years ago). I had chicken curry, and another party had a noodle dish. Wagamama had become so greedy that they are delusional. You only get 4 pieces of chicken in a cury dish, the size of a chicken piece is as big as a grape - so you can imagine. My dish came first and i waited 9 min for my guests noodle dish to come. Our original waitress Niki only approached us once to take our order and put their name on a paper, and we never interacted with her again, no checks were done at any point during our meal. My guests noodle dish had 4 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of prawn. A male waiter from another section approached us to clear our table as we sat there, he sensed i lied that everything was ok and expressed his genuine interest in getting our feedback, which i didnt hesitate sharing at that point. I appreciate his service and a genuine customer care. I give him 5* However, we left unsatisfied because what once was a quality food chain had become total rubbish. Put it that way, if i wanted to eat a cup of rice with whatever sauce, i would have stayed home. The review gets 2* only because of the male waiter who has passion for what he does, but i was there to enjoy a meal and show my guest my favourite chain. No more.

Being completely honestly, wagamamas service for me always varies. There are times when it’s really nice and other times when it’s not as nice and it can lack consistency. I got the Yasai vegetable gyoza ramen and it was okay but it definitely lacked seasoning and it was a bit bland and considering the price I don’t know if it really lived up to the expectations. Maybe it’s because I went near to when it was closing, but I found that service overall was a bit mediocre. Maybe next time I’ll try a different dish.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Wagamama's 02 branch. I go here every month or so and it is always consistent. The service is regular, not necessarily anything wow about it. But the food is delicious. The chicken katsu curry is incredibly delicious and the crispiness of the chicken is unmatched, and the curry sauce is incredibly rich in flavour. I also had the chilli squid which is sublime when it's fresh, but when it's rubbery, it's not worth it. But one thing I do find incredibly strange is that the prices for the food are okay if you dine-in as the portions are plausible, but if you're ordering takeaway the portions are incredibly small compared to dine-in, and then the price is just extortionate despite the dine-in and takeaway prices being exactly the same. I love Wagamama though nonetheless.

They made everyone wait in a long line in the rain to be seated for 30+ minutes even though there were loads of free tables and an entire top floor of seating empty. The staff just walked around ignoring the line and pretended to be busy. Once we finally got in to be seated we then had to wait an extra 10 mins at the counter whilst staff ignored us and I even over head two staff members laughing at everyone queuing in the rain. It’s not acceptable, there was zero care, effort and work ethic. Everyone in the line could have easily been seated right away?!?

Love the Tantanmen Beef Brisket Ramen - definitely one of my favourite dishes on the menu. The food was great as always, and the waiters were nice. The cloudy lemonades in recent times have been quite watery/diluted unfortunately, which never used to be the case. Overall definitely would recommend this branch, just be aware that it gets quite busy on event days at the O2.

Not a great experience for various reasons... 1. The Pad Thai dish lacked flavour and was very underwhelming. The chicken katsu salad was nice though. 2. We asked for a ramen dish to not have coriander. The lady said that's no problem but then it still came with coriander. 3. The three meals then all came at three different times so my group mostly ate separely. 4. We didn't get enough chopsticks and also our pot of tea came with no cup. 5. Finally we asked for the bill but the lady never gave it to us. We did however figure out you could pay using a QR code but we could have been told that. Maybe they are short staffed or just lack training and standards, but overall very sloppy service and I wouldn't be visiting again.

Big thank you to Tanya for her absolutely excellent customer service. I took my grandchildren and she interacted with them in a kindly manner as well as being very welcoming and she was constantly polite and helpful. She ensured at all times we were happy and comfortable. She explained to me different options on the menu. Very nice menus for the children and the food was served promptly. My food was full of flavour and again served promptly and with a smile. We shall certainly be going again. It's well worth a try, and there's lots of variety- something for every taste bud!

A very poor experience at Wagamama. The waitress probably forgot that the dish was ordered, my partner already finished his plate, I got mine only after asking if they didn’t forget about it. The food was absolutely cold when it was brought to the table… And it was relatively quiet time as lots of tables were empty. Further to that, it was incredibly spicy (not the first time eating katsu curry at Wagamama, so I more or less knew what to expect). Super disappointing.

I found my healthy Koyo Salmon Bowl here. Happy to come by and eat the salmon bowl all the time. Pulled pork Gyoza no good. Will not order again. Pork belly hirata steamed bun not bad. Although the pork is oily, but you enjoy the crispy. 😀 The speed of serving food is rather slow. We ordered the appetiser and the pork belly hirata steamed bun came very late. It’s after we finished the mains. Definitely. I think the service needs to be improved.

Disappointing visit. Have been to other branches of Wagamamas and experienced excellent service but sadly the service was really poor at North Greenwich / O2. The restaurant was fairly busy - the person who greeted us wasn’t very friendly and left us standing. Someone else came and said they’d seat us in a minute. It then took an age to catch anyone’s attention to place our order for drinks and food. No one came to check if everything was okay with the meal or whether we wanted to order more drinks - and it was impossible to get anyone’s attention. When it came to paying, you’re expected to scan the code on the table and input your table number - our number wasn’t written down and we hadn’t been told what it was so we had to catch the attention of someone who gave both us and the table next door who had the same issue our numbers so we could complete payment. Expected more from Wagamamas. On a positive note, the food, as always, was tasty. Would eat at wagamamas again - but probably not this location.

For the last 3 weeks, have been coming in once a week after a movie. And each week, the service has been appalling. First week, staffs pretended to be busy. It took 20mins to flag a staff to get our bill- the restaurant was not even busy. 2nd week, restaurant was not busy but customer service was appalling- it took 20mins to take our order and one of my order I didn't get but paid for which I later realised after I got home. 3rd time, order were taken fast but didn't get an order and had to ask for it. They also gave my friend wrong order so we complained and it took 20mins for her pad Thai to come- restaurant was not busy and 3 chefs were just standing around at the back whilst server stand around chatting. The person who brought the replacement order just bang the plate Infront of my friend without apology. Given this place 3 chances and they fail to make up, so will not come back to this place.

I’d been hearing all the hype about Wagamama, so was wanting to investigate myself. No time better than before seeing Mickey Flanagan at the o2. We quickly ordered a large Asahi (beer) & I had Hawkes East Cider. Myself & my partner picked four starters to share between us: Hoisin Duck Bao Buns Korean BBQ Beef Brisket Bao Buns Ebi Katsu (Panko breaded Prawns) Chicken Yakitori The starters arrived reasonably quickly, followed by our Main Meals, which was nice to dip in between the starters/sides with the Main Course. We both chose Chicken & Prawn Pad Thai, which had lots of flavour & was surprisingly filling. The staff were attentive & friendly. Our bill came to nearly £80.00. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at how lovely our meal was & it beat expectations. We will definitely be visiting again.

We travelled a long way to see a show at the O2. We were hungry but needed to eat before the show started. It was busy and a lot of people were queuing too. We got a table and ordered three starters and a bottle of wine. One starter came out then my main whjch was like warm and sparse in chicken. Still no other starters. We sent mine back and asked but we're told that nothing comes out together despite our waitress telling us to order them first to avoid it all coming at once! The older waitress was quite abrupt as well. Finally they came but we're also freezing cold which was awful. By this point we were scared we would be late to the show so we just ate it. The pad Thai had three tiny prawns in it too which added to the disappointment. The wine was nice. The overall experience was shoddy and tasted bland as well as cold. It's not cheap either so no, we weren't happy. Come on! How hard is it!? Really! It's wok food! Anyone cooking this food should know how. I cook millions better than this at home.

First time at Wagamamas. Arrived at around 8.15 on Sunday 30th April and waited while a waiter who did not greet us at all took the rubbish out. He then took us to a table without saying a single word. He did not wash his hands after dealing with the rubbish before touching our cutlery, we would have been happy to wait another minute or 2 for that! We were then asked if we were ready to order before we were given a menu. Once ordered, the sides turned up swiftly, as did my girlfriend's main course. My main, which the manager had personally taken the order for due to my nut allergy (nice touch and always appreciated) never materialised. After quite a wait a staff member came to our table to advise that the kitchen was about to close and if we wanted any more food we would need to order now. When asked where the food I had ordered was, she went and spoke to the manager and I could see a confused inquest taking place. In the end, she had to return to ask me what I had ordered as the manager clearly had no idea and had not put it through! The food then turned up fairly quickly and was OK, but it all seemed a bit rushed together. At absolutely no stage was there any acknowledgement that things had gone wrong or any apology offered, the manager who took the order seemed to disappear entirely. To add insult to injury, we were then asked to pay before I had finished eating as they were getting ready to close. We would have been finished and paid long before that had my order gone through. I am told this is not a usual experience at Wagamama and so I would be willing to give it another go but would try a different branch next time.

We were served by Marley in the North Greenwich branch yesterday. Restaurant was extremely busy however our server went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Even when food/drinks were late, he offered an apology and an explanation instead of just running off. 10/10 service, would definitely return!

Below average food. The ramens taste all the same. The place is messy, noisy and freezing as they are likely sure April means summer so the air conditioning was blasting. We, and many other customers, eat dressed like we were skiing. Skip it. It doesn’t worth your money.

Visited Saturday around 8pm. Was shown straight to a table. That’s when it went down hill. We waited over 15minutes to order, then a further 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. I appreciate dishes arrive at different times but my dish turned up first and a good 25mins later my husbands turned up. The Manager in the green skirt was no where to be seen then appeared as the 5hit was hitting the fan but didn’t make much of a difference. We asked one of the servers clearing a table for a pot of sauce to which she replied I’m new then walked off, didn’t bother getting anyone else to help. By far the worst experience in Wagamama's I’ve ever had. Some staff just walking around aimlessly. Absolute shambles.

I met my elder son who's at Ravensbourne, so there anyway. Easy access from North Greenwich Jubilee Line and right by O2. Had the vegan chicken which was nice and tasty, spiced but not too hot at all. Very different for a soup - used both sticks and spoon, which confused me a little! Service good and friendly enough.

Wagamama is my favourite chain restaurant but unfortunately my visit here wasn't as good as normal. I was ignored for quite a while and it took me a long time to order even a drink. Food was great and fresh as always.

Decent night had at Wagamama and you can never really go wrong. I had udom noodles with teriyaki prawns with ginger and other veg. It was nice, really nice. Unfortunately the waiter got lost a few times with bringing our food to our table, we literally sat there a few times and saw him go to other tables before us, but maybe he was new! This Wagamama was clean and the staff were friendly.

Poor staff organisation. Friendly staff and okay food but total order chaos. Ordered two 'starters' and a 'main' each for myself and my husband. My main course arrived, I queries that and was told food was just brought as it was ready so said ok. My husbands starter, then my starter then 5-10 mins later no sign of my husbands main course. People next to us were delivered the same thing he ordered... still no sign of his main course, my food was finished at this point (as it was getting stone cold) when finally about 15-20 mins later his main course arrived. Food only okay, I ordered chicken Pad Thai and discovered prawns in it as I was eating so not sure if that was correct or not. Then as we were finishing they tried to deliver someone else's Char Siu buns to us. Not surprised Wagamamas not doing well...

Didn't give me a clean table even when it was empty and I asked for it. That table remained empty for all the time I was in. Instead the lady told me to sit on a table which was filled with dirty plates and glasses on the other half. The lady took only some things away to pretend that she was cleaning the table, but didn't return to take other soiled utensils away.

My favourite Wagamama!✌️ The restaurant is located at a convenient location, and there is a broad view to the Peninsular Square while you are seated. 🤩 The interior design is simple but comfortable, the lights are moderate and well laid out across the ceiling and tables. ☺️ Upon every visit, I can feel the friendliness and kindness of the staff, which makes the meal and the experience wonderful. 🥰 I will come back again! 😉

Been here over 10mins but no one has come to take the order. We are a group of seven. The restaurant is hardly busy - could someone explain why we are ignored?! 18mins here and still no one to take the order. People who have come after us have been served. Still no one has come to our table (25mins so far). After 30mins, I had to walk up to the manager (who was taking orders from the people who came after us) and have a chat with her. She took the order from us now and said there are staff shortages. I’m not convinced - there were staff walking around freely. So, 30mins from walking in to taking the order because I approached the manager. This is unreal and unacceptable.

Very poor service. Has to wait 15 - 20 min to be seated which was okay. But once seated, we waited for another 25 min for someone to take the order. The glasses for the drinks were unclean and we asked them to be changed straight away. Again waited a long time for that. Flagged it multiple times before they were replaced. It was not so busy, but waiters were just busy with chatting up with each other rather than focusing on the customers. We wouldn’t be going back anytime soon.

The Japanese food is delicious, so I went there for the first time in a while. The quantity was just right and it was delicious. The staff work quickly and leave a good impression. I will use it again. We recommend the yakisoba! 日本食が美味しいので、久しぶりに行きました。量がちょうど良く、美味しかったです。スタッフも仕事が早く好印象です。また利用します。お薦めは焼きそばです!

Found this place by coincidence as we were in the area and suddenly wanted to eat. We were pleasantly surprised and we would come back again. Food is simple but works for the palate. The sushi we ordered were tasty, one can taste the original flavours of the salmon and tuna. Ramen was also nice, a bit salty but not deal breaker. The crispy duck ramen topping was yum but perhaps more should be done to preserve the crispiness of duck as it can easily slide and soak in the broth. Presentation was simple but elegant, including how tea was served. So generous and was in a pot! Very seldom nowadays in restaurants of this price range. Ambience was calm and with the right volume of sound to enjoy the meal. Perhaps missing a bit of the Japanese feel. The staff are amazing.Friendly, attentive and fast service. Overall, very good value for money!
