Wagamama in Liverpool

We ordered a Yaki Soba Teppanyaki with chicken and prawns and Butterflied prawns as part of “Ebi katsu”. Both dishes were delicious! Our service was by Jamie, who was fantastic. Highly recommended by us.

We come a lot at least once a week, but the young guy who served us this time round was brilliant, he actually served us a couple weeks back as well, very friendly, welcoming, as though he enjoys his job. The food is mostly perfect anyway in the many times I’ve eaten here I’ve had 2 or 3 issues. The squid starter is top tier.

Always a pleasure to visit after a gruelling shopping run on the retail park.

Me and my boyfriend stopped here for a quick bite, food was fast and to perfection as always. The waiter who served us was amazing! (Think the name was Maya) Nothing better than friendly service with a smile.

My daughter and I love to visit the speak wagamama few times a month and we very happy with food and service.

Visited here and as soon I walked in I was greeted by a friendly young lady who seated myself straight away, and instantly asked me if I knew what I wanted to drink what was great, a gentleman came over less than 5 minutes later with my drink and asked me if I was ready to order which I was was, the food came over piping hot and they also gave me some chicken skewers for free which where lovely, all in all food fast and tasty, price was very reasonable and staff were very helpful.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic friendly staff.

Four of us dined here, we all enjoyed our starters, mains and three of us had deserts. Service was great, friendly, asked if any of us had allergies. Brought us fresh water for the table we were at. Not loud in there, no loud music playing so you could chat to each other, and sit and enjoy your delicious food.

Everytime we have been we have been accommodated with seating for our little one. Staff always entertain her and her curiosity and are pleasant from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.

I had the hotpot yesterday and it was so delicious! I wish they'd add it to the delivery menu.

It's my fav place of all times! Love their starters. Love their chilli squid. And don't forget to try bang bang cauliflower. If you're brave, try firecracker from mains. I usually go for ramen soup with dumplings.

Absolutely stunning food and service

We visited Wagamama Speke on 26th October for the 1st time. WOW what an amazing place. From the second we walked in the, service was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Chris was brilliant dealing with a food allergy. Went above and beyond we felt. Food was amazing. Quick service, but was flavourful and piping hot! Definitely big up to the new K-dogs!! Will be back!!

Food was really nice, one complaint they do not do milk in coffee found that strange.

If you love wagamamas it's the same consistent service everywhere..

Outstanding service and stellar food. Had dinner with some workmates and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The manager was super accommodating with a request I made. Stacy was an amazing server. Literally every staff member thanked us when we left, I just felt so welcomed. I'll be dreaming about the pork belly bao buns tonight!

Food was nice. Service member got an order wrong which wasn't an issue..... but it's the attitude that comes with every interaction in this part of the world. It's not characterful..... it's rude.

Ordered a takeaway and the chicken in one of the meals was raw in the middle, put us off eating here for a while

We went here a month ago! Nothing special just a normal Wagamama’s food.. Not bad, but I can’t really say good!

I like to visit Wagamama's occasional for a nice meal meal out. There is parking and disabled parking available outside the restaurant. I have had many mixed experience with the speke store. Sometimes the staff are really friendly and willing to help, but other times they can be really slow and seem uninterested to help. I think it just depends on the day and time. The restaurant is quite large and holds a lot of people. More often then not you are seated on a bench like area with no back support so make sure to ask for a booth when booking if this is something you require. Everything is displayed nicely on the menu and easy to see what a few pictures of selected items. The Ramen is presented lovely and tastes amazing. The Katsu chicken was presented lovely but the chicken was very thin and totally burnt. I honestly felt that they tried to cover the mistake with curry sauce. To pay for the meal they prefer a contactless method were you pay on your phone, this is very simple to do. But if you would rather pay by card they will bring a card machine over for you. I will continue to visit occasional for a nice meal out.

Attended with a 9 year old who had the ramen chicken, whilst the adults just had gyozas. Both food and service were excellent.

First visit for me and was very impressed. The staff were very helpful taking me through the less spicy dishes. Service was quick, and attentive, and the food hot and delicious.

My favourite chain restaurant to go to. Fantastic food and as someone with a nut allergy they could not be more attentive. My only complaint would be that you cant book so have to drive there and take your chance getting in or waiting for up to nearly an hour at busy times

Visited the restaurant quite late at 20:30 and honestly I was a bit worried as to whether we would be a burden and the guys would wanna close down. It was entirely the opposite! We were made to feel so welcome from the get go, a table was sorted for us right away. Our waitress Veronica came to us within minutes and was so very helpful. I asked a million questions and nothing was too much for her. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food itself was to die for. We tried 3 different starters and two mains and all was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to be back!

I just wish the chefs would taste their food more often. Adamame beans covered with salt, Gyoza pastry extremely dry, yaki soba with over sized chunks of peppers and bland. What a disappointment the meal was. Service on the other hand was fast, efficient and friendly.

Not been for a while, some new things on the menu and all excellent. I even loved some of plant based and vegan options and I'm normally a big meat eater. Quality and freshness really good and the staff were attentive. Recommended.

Better than yo sushi Do not order the egg from the extra menu Yaki udon is seasoned but not enough flavour, the udon itself is cheap quality, and it is more like mixing together with heat than pan fried with fire Both side dishes I ordered are edible but one of the chilli for decoration has the green head part involved Tea is drinkable Note: tama squid is not tamayaki

So im giving it one star because I orded the food and it was absolutely trash because it was half raw also we got takeaway bags and we put 2 of our food and the whole thing ripped and our food was waster and it cost around 95 pounds. But the staff were very good.

This is the worst Wagamamas I have ever been to, they honestly need to replace the chefs here as they are not good. I ordered the same dish from the Liverpool city centre one and it was unreal, order the same thing at this one and it was inedible and what I did eat gave me a poorly tummy. It’s the second time I’ve tried this one and both times it was awful. Don’t waste your time going to this one, go to the Liverpool city centre one in Liverpool one! Much nicer!

Food is really good and fresh. With chains I always believe its just churned out but I felt I was in a nice restaurant here. Ayesha, our waitress, was lovely and brought a small juice drink over for our daughter who was trying to drink mine. Really good service and quality food. Will definitely be going again

This one girl ruined experience especially since it was my first time here. She gave me attitude for simply pointing out that I haven’t received any cutlery for my takeaway order. Like amend the problem another waiter made not show me attitude for me asking you to do your job. On top of this, the VAT is much higher than what I pay for in Birmingham. When receiving my meal, the Shu’s Shiok Chicken and tropical large juice was significantly less what I usually get. I was paying for this order through Wagamama’s gift card for the same mess up at a different location. I’m put off from going to wagamama completely!

We were served by Sophia who was poliet, helpful, well presented and attentaive. Sophia recommended a dish for my wife which she loved. All our meals arrived quickys, fresh and hot.The covid plans appearded good with venue check in and online payment for a chash hassel free bill payment. Perfect experiance.

Despite current restrictions we were seated quickly. Service was quick and efficient and online payment a great way to reduce contact. We both had the duck donburi which was beautiful.

Had a lovely meal here this evening. It is quiet after lockdown unlike the madness of last summer so well worth a visit. As before when I have visited the staff have been very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Sophia for taking care of me.

Had take away from here both me and my daughter were very sick after eating their food , other family members ate different takeaway and they were fine however when I told this company about this they took ages to reply and when they did they told me it couldn’t possibly be their fault as they are beyond reproachThink twice about going here much safer places Only good thing I would say is the restaurant waiting on staff are very pleasant Customer service and obviously the food really awful AVOID AT AL COSTS

Outstanding click and collect service tonight from your Speke store. Even the egg was perfect on the Don Buri. I could see the food going in to my bag from my car window, showing it was really fresh. We will be back, no fear. Those tama squid balls are soooooooooo goooooood.

Got a takeaway from here whilst doing veganuary with my partner January 2020. We had a gift card so my partner ordered over the phone the guy was friendly and we both ordered the vegan Katsu curry which uses seitan as the meat substitute and had a couple of sides. I love katsu curry and must say this was a good vegan dish it was delicious. Would recommend.

Came here whilst on a shopping trip one evening last week. Brilliant service, great food. Sophia, our waitress, was lovely - really attentive. Tried a new dish on the menu Siu’s Shiock! Very tasty! Will be back.

Delicious Japanese food. More hearty than one might expect.

Very disappointed tonight drove 15 minutes to pick up takeaway , drove another 15 minutes home only to find my main meal missing . Spent over £50 on a takeaway I expect better attention to detail. I await my refund to my card, 5 working days I won’t be holding my breath waiting. Check your order before leaving

So tasty! Every now and again you get a POP of a different taste in a mouthful of noodles or rice. Staff were upbeat even though they're due to be furloughed again this week. Speedy and efficient and delicious as ever.

The food was absolutely superb, the chicken teppenyaki and tempura vegetables are to die for! Highly recommend the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert! Our waitress Emma was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us a credit to the restaurant! Will be back very soon!

Visité aquí con mi hija y su novio el martes 14 de septiembre, y debo decir que, aparte de las precauciones de covid 19, que no son culpa del restaurante, casi todo fue perfecto. Nos gustó la introducción al menú y recibimos excelentes recomendaciones de nuestra encantadora camarera Jenny para elegir la comida adecuada.Sí, felicito a los cocineros especialmente por el ramen de pechuga de ternera tantanmen; era tan delicioso y llenaba incluso un estómago hambriento. Lo mismo se puede decir con toda la razón sobre el curry de petardo de gambas. Las raciones también estaban muy bien presentadas.Una cosa a considerar es cómo el ruido de fondo en la ubicación podría reducirse al menos un poco.Cuando vuelva a visitar Liverpool, ¡sin duda volveré!

La camarera que nos sirvió recomendó un lado para acompañar mi plato y fue muy informativo. ¡Definitivamente visitaré este lugar nuevamente!Hubo un poco de espera y tuvimos que hacer cola afuera, pero un miembro del personal tomó su nombre y nos informó cuánto tiempo duró la espera y, para ser sincero, no esperamos tanto.

Voy mucho aquí y siempre es la misma comida excelente y el mismo personal excelente. Un agradecimiento especial a Stacy esta vez, que fue tan amable y tuvo una actitud tan positiva. ¡Su curry Katsu es encantador, el yaki soba es tan bueno y el guyoza de cerdo desmenuzado es mi entrante favorito!

Fui aquí esta noche para comer con la familia. Solo quiero agradecer enormemente ya que el personal es fantástico, el servicio al cliente es excelente aquí. No me importaba esperar la cola afuera, como es normal ahora.En cuanto a la comida, fue fantástica. Comida fresca, deliciosa cocinada, sabrosa y se siente como la familia, así que lo haremos. Gracias nuevamente por el gran servicio. A pesar de que estaba lleno, la mejor experiencia de restaurante que tuve en mucho tiempo.

Fuimos el segundo día del nuevo plan de comida fuera de casa del gobierno para ayudar. Actitud y servicio fantástico de todo el personal. Tuvimos que hacer cola, pero nos explicaron el tiempo de espera y valió la pena esperar por la sabrosa comida y el excelente servicio amable de todo el personal. Todo el personal usa viseras y limpia a fondo todos los bancos y mesas entre los clientes. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Never been bwfore so thought would give it a try for lunch. Service was really good and the waiter was really helpful. They have a separate menu for gluten free and the manager has to take this order so perfect for coeliacs. An average size portion of food but a bit pricy for what you get.in my opinion. The food was nice though so no complaints.

Acabamos de visitar el restaurante Speke para cenar. Tenía algo de comida encantadora pero nuestra experiencia fue genial por nuestra camarera April. Ella fue muy atenta y su servicio al cliente fue extremadamente bueno, nos hizo muchas preguntas y parecía realmente interesado en lo que teníamos que decir. Siempre sabemos que la comida será buena, pero definitivamente volveremos después de una experiencia tan agradable. Ella es un gran activo para su equipo, ¡espera volver pronto!

Lovely staff, very attentive, great food

Took my daughter her for a birthday meal. Service and food was first class. Quickly served without a fuss. The food was amazing and so tasty I will definitely be returning. I would recommend you to eat here. Place was spotlessly clean and a lovely laid back atmosphere.

First visit to Wagamamas in Speke and sadly the experience was let down by one member of staff who was rude and abrupt. It’s a shame because his colleagues were attentative and polite. My partner ordered yasai katsu curry from the vegan menu and it literally arrived 5 mins after she ordered it. This meant I was waiting for my meal whilst she was eating. I ordered the chicken donburi which was tasty but could have done with a bit more meat. Overall the food was decent but the experience was ruined by that one member of staff.

First time in Wagamama and it couldn’t have been a more enjoyable experience. The waitress helped us with our orders, explained dishes and gave us advice. Food was beautiful and service spot on
