I am a frequent Wagamama customer as this is possibly my favourite restaurant and I never complain however, after eating in the camberley branch today I couldn’t not make a comment. The temperature in that restaurant so unnecessarily hot it was the most uncomfortable meal I have ever had. Both my kids were boiling and were so red in the race we actually had to cut our meal short, pay and get out of there. It was ridiculous. Other than that the service is spot on and so is the food.

Awful. Love Wagas but had a problem at this branch once before n should've learnt my lesson. Chicken katsu curry....chicken was chewy and grisly. Yasai katsu curry was dry. In fact both were dry and tasteless and ended up in the bin. We got it to take to cinema and if we weren't watching a film I'd have definitely taken it back! The lad who served us was lovely and friendly, some of the other staff could learn a thing or 2 from him. Overall an unpleasant experience (again) and wasted money on their food that ended up in the bin.

As being a first time customers . Me and my partner had the best from Albab. Very helpful as we didn't know what to and his recommendation were spot on . Well done Albab . We will be back food was delicious.

Came here with a friend last minute for a quick meal. Staff was very nice and food was beautiful. I had the spicy Katsu curry! It was very nice also I had some extra sauce what they didn’t charge extra for what I thought was nice of them. Service was good and food was cooked fresh. Would definitely come back.

I turned up on Saturday 21st Oct without a booking with my two very young children after a long and stressful day and I have to say from the moment I walked in the staff were so welcoming and friendly and really made me feel happy to be there. The food was delicious and hot. When my youngest had made a mess on the floor I wasn’t made to feel bad or embarrassed. I didn’t get staff names but I wish I had to pass on my personal thanks. Excellent service thank you from a stressed out mum.

The Wagamam is in the atrium. I would recommend the vegatsu it was lovely!!

Great value food. My daughter loves it here. Can't see the attraction myself 🤣. Tables all lined up makes me feel like I'm being fed in a homeless shelter. Meals came out around 10 mins apart, despite only being two of us, so not great. Best thing is the price. Quite cheap as far as eating out goes.

Quick and efficient service, with our food coming quickly. Our son wasn't keen on his noodles as I think the oil they used was too strong but mine hit the spot for a quick and easy dinner.

quality and layout of the food is divine, all meals are absolutely amazing, would especially recommend the ramen, it is big, filling and delicious. service is great except sometimes it takes a long time for food to come out, and takes a while to get employees attention when trying to ask for something such as extra cutlery, bill etc. apart from that it is a fabulous place to eat at.

Very tasty food. Reasonable wait times. A bit expensive nowadays but the green tea is free. Odd seating arrangements. Not too bad an experience.

ive been here before but i cant book up on the website. Its coming up with deliveroo and that stuff and i dont want that.

Food was good and as usual very fresh. I tried the new Gyoza ramen and it was great. Hot and spicy squid was yummy as always. The service at Camberley is always quick. You order your favourite dish and it always comes out the same everytime. Its like they have a replicator from The Enterprise. You pay your money but it never dissapoints.

We come to Wagamama probably every other week and the food is consistently delicious. We're thankful to live locally to somewhere thats nutritious and so welcoming. Just need a reward programme for regulars, now!

Food was good, but slow service on one of the dishes. Good atmosphere and lots of people coming in and out.

Always good food and friendly service

As Wagamama's go, this one is as decent as the next. It serves as a great, fast, easy introduction to Japanese style food. I wouldn't call it straight Japanese food, because it has clearly been westernized. It is very good though, with a fantastic variety and choice of delicious snacks or meals. They cater to a variety of diets though. My wife loves their vegan Katsu curry, though it's not as good as the one we cook at home. The prices are good, though a full meal can become a bit pricey depending on how much you want to eat. The service is adequate. Its a restaurant that is half way fast food, half sit down. therefore the staff are busy, are rarely spend any time helping advise eaters, or laugh and joke with them. If you want a quick meal before a film, or after a bit of shopping, Wagamama's is as good a choice as any.

We always have a very pleasant meal here, we come rather often! Caitlin was a great server, she’s served us many times before and always had a smile on her face to greet customers. The only constructive feedback I would have is the chilli squid is often slighter over done and under seasoned compared to other Waga mama chains we’ve been to. That is no way a complaint just an observation. We love waga, always have always will!

Feels like the quality of the food has gone down hill recently. The starter/sharer plate portions are tiny. Several dishes recently have been overly oily which just ruins the taste. I’ve seen the same dishes being returned more than once by other tables. Too expensive. Not the quality you expect.

It's a nice place to enjoy a family meal any time and day.

Ordered click and collect from the Camberley store, my partner had the chicken skewers and a yaki udon which were both good however I had a chicken curry and it was absolutely tiny, I was shocked at how small it actually was for a 'main' meal. There was a really small amount of chicken and not enough sauce at all, it also lacked in flavour in my opinion. Such a shame as wagamama is usually a solid choice.

We had to wait outside for 15 minutes before getting a table, the food was amazing, especially the ebi katsu and the chicken Teriyaki donburi.

The staff is superb! Food is delicious!

Consistently good food, although the teriyaki salmon was light on the teriyaki. Great for dining alone or as a group.

The only flavour they’ve heard of is adding generic spice. Like shrink flation, just spice and noodles in oily slop. Dog food

Wagamama has really gone down the drain. I remember the food being so good years ago, but now its just nothing but spice.... And not good spice. Not going back unless they really revamp the menu (don't trust the new ramens they've added..... nothing but spice and oil)

Hadn't been for ages. Still great food and atmosphere. At 7pm on a Friday night really busy especially with food courier services which maybe explain why despite as many empty tables as people in the queue there was a wait to be seated. Hence 4 stars.

Delicious food in a nice setting with superb service.

Would leave a 0 but can't. Ordered through deliveroo, waited nearly 2 hours to have a phone call saying that our order was taken by someone else then told to cancel the order.

Lovely food but when you order a click and collect for 12 people the amount of plastic was horrific! This is just not acceptable in this day and age. It filled an entire dishwasher and to be frank I don’t want to reuse them. I have bowls already. Wagamama should allow us to return them so they can reuse them.

I went with family to this place. We loved the Japanese food. Especially, the Ramen noodle soups were really awesome! Strongly recommend anyone visiting here to try the Ramen soups!

There are 100 reasons why this is beyond a 5* place that I won't go into here but just know that this place is well worth the time and money.

My first visit to Wagamama, excellent prompt service, food was tasty, good portions. One criticism- too damn noisy, could not hold normal conversation with my partner.

My daughter and her boyfriend (still teenagers not adults so no alcohol - closely supervised!) visited Wagamama Camberley on 14th February this year for their Valentines Day celebration meal. They both had a great time for which I was grateful. She had Chicken Ramen. Later that day she became unwell, spending a lot of time in the bathroom well into the night and confirmed she had nothing else to eat after that meal. That has not happened before or since, after her eating out. They do not live with me permanently so upon finding out what had happened I visited the restaurant during opening hours one week later to notify them. I was conscious not to affect their business publicly so I requested to speak with a manager privately about the incident. He was very helpful at that time and we lodged the complaint officially using an on-site tablet, providing all necessary information including contact details, dates times from the receipt etc.I gave it time: NOTHING HEARD.I popped in again weeks later and stated that I had had no contact to the same gentleman. Being a Sunday on this occasion he said he would raise the incident with the general manager of the premises on the following Monday which I thought was reasonable.THERE IS STILL NOTHING HEARD AND NO CONTACT WHAT IS NOW APPROACHING THREE MONTHS LATER.Whilst I still do not wish any damage to reputation, I now feel it necessary to post on Tripadvisor, as I feel they have now been given more than enough time. I am very disappointed that they have not even bothered to respond. At this point, I would be interested to see if we get nothing or a generic response rather than a personal one?

This place was absolutely amazing one of the best places I’ve ever been too the chicken katsu is mouth watering and packed with flavour the variety of dishes is great I really recommend the chilli squid and ebi katsu however they charge you extra for the amoi sauce when taking away they do not do this when you eat in overall amazing

Don’t go to this restaurant. Toilets filthy, service terrible, side of edamame beans old and over cooked. We will not be returning

We just popped into wagamamas camberley for a last minute mother's day lunch. When we got there my son of 6 started complaining about pains in his legs. We thought we'd take a chance and so ordered our drinks and food. During the first 10 minutes our son got alot worse and so we asked if we could tale the good away. The young man serving us was so friendly and accommodating, think his name was Albab. The food came out really quickly and to our surprise, we were told by Albab that our food was on them. He said that they felt so bad for us as its mother's day, so only paid for the drinks! How lovely!!! It was a completely unexpected act of kindness! What a wonderful restaurant and team :)

Rude staff and even ruder manager named Ambika!!! We simply asked for them to ensure our food is vegan because we have intolerances to dairy and the manager had a rude/bad attitude problem - to the extent she went back to moan about us to her colleagues. What she didn’t realise is that we could see her through the mirror and hear her ‘bitching’ unprofessionally about us very loudly. Never have we experienced this service in a restaurant before where the manager first has a bad attitude and then goes on to moan about the customers in full view. Astonished at this service and unprofessionalism.

Friendly and efficient service, lovely food and great non alcoholic mojito

having asked for a gluten free menu i was given one and i placed my order which was ideal. i was then interrupted by the manager putting stickers over my menu and saying that i should’ve ordered with her and her colleague shouldn’t have taken my order due to my allergen. it came across in a vey aggressive manner and made me feel bad about something i cannot control. throughout the service i watched her be very passive aggressive to the other staff members which is very wrong in my eyes.

Had a fantastic meal, even my 6 year old said "this food is incredible". The person who served us was helpful and friendly (and patient whilst we deliberated)!

The staff are nice and friendly but today’s chicken katsu curry sauce is a bit cold so it ends up with lumps instead of the flowing liquid. For the currey I would give 3 out of 5. We’ve been to Another wagamama restaurant their chicken katsu curry is much better. The beef buns are nice; I would rate 5 out of 5. Overall, a nice dining experience.

Was extremely busy last time we went, even more so than usual, due to the kitchen being backed up with delivery orders so we had to wait for a table but the lady at the door was very apologetic and offered us green tea while we waited which was much appreciated. Food was wonderful as always and even though they forgot my side of rice, they managed very well considering how busy it was.

Good food, excellent service. Good variety catering for all dietary needs. Highly recommend donburi duck and chilli chicken ramen! Drinks selection also good with free green tea and some amazing smoothies.

In 2022 the originally gorgeous food seems to have slipped in quality. The new noodles brought in to be more vegan friendly haven't helped with their pasty texture, and standards in some previously excellent dishes have give down to mediocre...

Absolutely vile… cost a fortune for noodles that u didn’t ask for, meat dripping in blood, poor service as should have been given the choice weather I want my food dead or Alive!!! Never again

I went out with my son, and decided to go at Wagamama ...it was our first visit here so no idea about the menu there..there was a lovely girl that she explained the menu and helped us with the order! The food was amazing ..We love this kind of food! Definitely we will be back soon! I can't remember the name of the girl , the only thing that I remember is that she is from South Africa, very kind and helpful, hope that we will find her next time on our visit!

I'm glad Wagamama want to make their menu more plant based but they need to work on the food, it wasn't great. Vegan ramen was very bland, the noodles were mushy (I think you should get to choose if you want vegan noodles or regular) and the content was mostly vegan 'chicken' which had a really unpleasant texture. As a vegetarian I would prefer lots of veggies rather than the processed stuff and a couple bits of bok choi! The veg gyoza have changed and didn't seem as nice, funny dry pastry. My husband had firecracker chicken and said it was ok but it was also lots of chicken, hardly any veg. I'd like to see more veggies in the mains and as sides. On the plus side they had Sake this time and the carrot juice was lovely.

Consistently good food - healthy choices and fresh juices (personal fav choice - carrot!) - nice to try different dishes and staff willing to give advice with spicy-ness etc. Special mention to our lovely waiter Ciaran - who was so helpful and couldn’t have done enough for us all - a Star in the making and an asset to the Camberley branch. However I noted all the staff were very smiley and willing to assist each other & it was so nice to see happy staff working together bearing in mind how tough the last 18 months has been for the hospitality sector

Most of the food was nice. But the noodles were so mushy and felt like over cooked. Was not impressed with it. We were told they changed their noodles to vegan ones. They need to change back as my daughter was very disappointed.

Wasn't overly impressed with our delivery at all..Noodles are soggy, side dishes were stone cold.. I should of just ordered from our local Thai because this is just poorly cooked Thai food in my eyes..

Had an excellent lunch at Wagamama outlet at Camberley. The food and service was excellent. They catered to all our dietary restrictions and I would strongly recommend their firecracker cauliflower and beef ramen. Thanks you Denissa and Marsha for being impeccable hosts 🥂. Adil
