Wagamama in Aberdeen City

All the staff were very friendly! Shoutout to our server Jon, you were fab! Really enjoyed ourselves and food was great! Would recommend a visit! :)

Fantastic food in this restaurant, freshly cooked to order ramen 🍜 was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit on this occasion before we went to the cinema. Highly recommend a visit to this eatery.

Great atmosphere and clean tables with condiments to suit your liking. Great food and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend if you are in Aberdeen.

First time in wagamama, ever.. food was good - can remove spice/chilli oil if needed which was good. Service was good and staff were polite. Went around 4pm for an early dinner so not much atmosphere- was quiet at the time. An overall good, but expensive experience!

Delicious katsu curry. The QR code failed though meaning a chase of a staff member for a bill and being treated like I'm an idiot who can't scan a QR code. Decent vibe, nice and lively, good buzz to the place, we didn't have to wait long to sit which was good.

Visited Wagamama in Union Square late afternoon 4th January 2023. I planned to try something new but couldn't help myself and ordered my favourite - Chilli Chicken Ramen. Luckily, my wife and two kids ordered different things so we all got trying something new. For fussy eaters, I'm astonished how much the kids look forward to eating at this place, even when it's a little spicy. Helpings are generous and invariably, we end up with a very decent doggy-bag. No draught beer was the only thing i found disappointing. Staff were lovely and food always arrives surprisingly quickly. I think it's great value for good and healthy food. The novelty of chop sticks adds to making the experience that little bit more special.

A restaurant run by a corporation can be a hit or miss. wagamama delivered! The service was very amicable, super fast, and the food was delicious. I would get back to their locations again.

This used to be my favourite restaurant in Union Square and I was keen to see the changes. Very disappointed in the venue now. Very open and not a cosy feel to the place. I got the impression that the staff were not exactly welcoming. I could see the place wasn't busy but yet there was at least one table of people waiting, then we had to wait a good while despite seeing plenty staff on and vacant tables. Once our order was taken the food was OK, the kids meals were cold and they kept telling me the noodles tasted like pancakes! The place has definitely taken a down turn with the renovation. The waiter, whom I think was head waiter decided to clear his nose whilst standing waiting for me to tap and pay! And there was no rapport there at all. So much for the customer coming first! Really disappointing.

Popped into the newly refurbished and expanded Wagamama tonight. Can see why it needed to expand. The service was outstanding and the food is to die for. The ambience and look of the place is gorgeous and the food matches this. I went for the Pulled Pork Gyoza which was incredible. Had the classic Chicken Katsu Curry as my main. Can see why it's such a staple. Amazing. To finish I had the Banana Katsu which I defo recommend. I was blown away. A great experience tonight in Union Square :)

First time back to wagamama since it reopened. A nice fresh face lift with more booths and space on other tables. I tried the new korean inspired broth hot pot and It was delicious. The sides were also nicely cooked and served quickly. The food comes out as and when it's ready in no particular order, so just dig in and enjoy when you get your food, don't wait for everyone else's food to arrive. Gents toilets are still on the small side despite an interior re design. Our server was superb, friendly and efficient. In fact, every member of staff we interacted with was great.

Really enjoyed our meal at Wagamama when it reopened! Food was great and service from our waitress Ailina (I think her name was) was excellent, will definitely be visiting again soon!

I was so excited to try this place. Food was very bland and service very slow. Asked for starters along with mains but starters for the two people who asked for served first. Then the mains got served one at a time. My brother first then a few minutes later my husband. Myself and my kids waited for 8 minutes then my eldest came then my youngest was an extra 4 minutes and mine came 5 minutes later.

Been here so many times over the last few years- food and service is always great. Staff are friendly and attentive and the meals are always great quality and come out super quick. Definitely the best place in Union Square to eat!

Anyway the coffee machine was off. I had the delightful white chocolate and ginger cheese cake and gin cocktail. Thank you to the polite staff member who served and was of service.

Recommended ramen was just okay. broth wasjust okay. Pork belly was 👍🏻 But overall ramen dish was ... just okay

Very friendly staff, I went in just me and my almost 3 year old kiddo and we had a good meal surprisingly she even ate all of hers says a lot about the food. Thanks to the staff for everything.

Always great to visit a Wagamamas from time to time! The food was above satisfactory and is the same across all Waga restaurants! The service was great, prompt and with a smile! I didn't get the waitresses name but she made for a great visit!

Have to love a good Wagamama as they are all over the country. I'd recommend either the Katsu Curry or the Pad Thai. The one in Aberdeen is very close to the main train station so easy to access.

All dishes very tasty and appetizing. Very nicely presented. Also nice and competent service. The place is very popular, so you may have to wait in line for available table. I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious as always. Excellent service from our server, food arrived quickly and super tasty. Salmon gyoza Chicken gyoza Grilled Chicken ramen There’s not much meat or fish in the gyozas but tasty nonetheless. One of my favourite restaurants that never fails to serve up delicious hearty healthy food ❤️

As always, delicious and fresh food. Wagamama is a favourite of mine because of its delicious menu, friendly and helpful staff, and simplicity. I am always greeted with a smile and shown to a table where We are always informed of any items off the menu and asked of any dietary requirements. The food here is always made fresh and delicious. Point to note, items you order are brought out when they are ready, this means that you may not be served your food in the order you expect or at the same time as your party members. I love this though, as it guarantees freshness. I am never disappointed when I visit here. An absolute pleasure as always.

I wanted to have some soup and ramen, so I thought why not Wagamama ramen. It’s so disappointing that when the ramen was delivered the noodles had soak up all the soup 😭😔not gonna lie it was abit disappointing. I would recommend Wagamama to pack the noodles and the soup separately in the future to enhance the delivery/takeout dining experience. For now, we won’t be ordering anything online from Wagamama anymore.

Good food for the weekend dinner

Wir bestellten verschiedene Vegane Speisen. Alle waren in Ordnung. Vegane Ramen gibt es leider nur mit Udon Nudeln. Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Amazing food as always and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Kudos to the staff member that gave me a crash course on how to use chopsticks properly, saved me some embarrassment and ramen stains down my shirt.

Brilliant food and the waiters were willing to explain everything that I didn’t understand, and the noodle price is worth it they gyoaza has a lot of noodle and my friend could barely finish it.

My friend and I were craving for ramen so we tried that place. The place was clean and pleasant. Even though the waitress was very nice and available, the dishes were not served at the same time (10 minutes apart) and were completely bland so it was quite disappointing for such an expensive price.. The drinks were nice though!

Came for a late-night pick me up before a 10pm movie. Was in search of coffee and cake. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was off. I had the delightful white chocolate and ginger cheese cake and gin cocktail. Thank you to the polite staff member who served and was of service.

Chicken ramen was quite small compared to previous order and the quality was very low. Basically, was just a very pricey, average chicken soup. Gyoza ramen was also a small portion, very spicy and with coriander even if we selected 'no coriander'. Very disappointing order.

Dined here on Saturday night and despite a little wait for a table the service was promt, friendly and efficient. Nikola looked after me very well and is a credit to this restaurant. Food was excellent as always at Wagamama.

Food was good but not as good as I've had previously. Staff spoke sooo fast because they were busy. I don't like paying via the app it's slow and cumbersome.

Orders are frequently wrong or badly prepared. When they get it right, it's quite good tho.

I almost always order the shirodashi ramen with extra pork belly (my favourite)& pick around with the fresh juices on offer. The food is refreshingly fresh & healthy and the staff super. Wagama is always a delight!

Atmosphere and service was friendly and efficient, food was a little expensive for what it is. Had pork belly ramen, broth and noodles were fine (hard to get wrong) but the pork was a tad over cooked or had been sat under a heat lamp for a while as I’ve never had it dry/crispy before even in the broth (Pic provided). Was a quick eat prior to catching a train from nearby station so didn’t want the delay/fuss of mentioning it at the time. Just something for others to maybe be aware of. Pay online in restaurant via an app - easy to use.

Whilst the food tastes amazing, the service is fantastic and the place has a lovely atmosphere, every time I eat here I get a severly sore stomach by the time I get home. It doesn't seem to matter what I order either. I always feel very sick after the meal. I don't know why this is but it has put me off from coming back again for a meal as I don't want to deal with the stomach issues afterwards. Which is a real shame since I think everything else about this place is great and the food really does taste amazing.

Mochte Wagamama eigentlich immer sehr gerne. Aber nach Brexit und Corona scheint sich auch die Qualität geändert zu haben. Ich hatte einen Starter TeriakiChicken, und die Marinade war total verbrannt. Alles schmeckte nach nichts. Auch mein teurer Tropical Smoothie war eine dünnflüssige nichtssagende Mango Flüssigkeit. Für den Preis nie wieder! Sorry Wagamama, ihr wart mal besser!

We love Wagamamas as a goto for affordable decent oriental food in the city centre , have been many times.

Came for a nice meal and to be honest, ruined by dishes coming to table so far apart that the 3 of us had to eat while the other two watched, repeated each time. First restaurant I've been to where this happened and doubt I'd return. Food was OK but spoilt by individual eating experience.

Japanese style fusionish food. Never had a bad meal here, everything cooked to order, and delivered to your table as its cooked... Meaning you may get one main, then a side then another main. Staff have always been polite and friendly. Visited post COVID, and it was as good as ever!

Excellent cuisine, had gluten free meal. Chicken Ramen, chicken with noodles, spring onions served as a broth. Outstanding. Afterwards a caramel ice cream with toffee sauce. Really good helpful staff.

I loved the food here it was so filling for a great price and really tasty food, the servers were also a really great help as one of us spilled water but they didn't replace napkins , but the dish my mum ordered we didn't expect to be very spicy as we were not warned beforehand so we asked if we could get it less spicy or see if there was anything they could do and they offered a glass of milk so we took it but they also charged us for the glass of milk 😑. This is why I am giving 4 stars apart from those things I would give 5 and come here very often every weekend. Beware fire cracker is very spicy !

Was here with my family a couple weeks ago and we all got food poisoning. Know of others who were also ill that evening. Vowed to never go back, shame as this was one of our favourite places to go.

Good food but definitely "Asian Inspired" rather than authentic. Would give 5 stars but the gyozas were just plain awful. We had the duck gyoza and it tasted bad, as well were dusty maybe flour or starch? Unsure what was on it. Would come again just would avoid the gyozas.
