Volcano fast food in North Ayrshire

Chicken ahimsa I’ve never had it before it was one of the best dishes I have tasted thanks guys keep up the good cooking I will be back for more

Usually a great place for food however tonight both curries were not very warm, Nan bread which I don't even think was a nan bread was cold and hard, called and no help was given, quite rude and was told they were boiling when they left the shop, yes I'm sure this was the case but when they arrived at me they were not.

Ordered 2 kebabs & mixed pakora for delivery, 2 kebabs got delivered but no sign of mixed pakora, anyway, 2 kebabs were absolutely delicious, mixed pakora when it came on a 2nd delivery was reheated, overcooked crap, I’d have been better binning the money same as the pakora, awful.

Staff not reading note with order items, too busy listening to gloating female customer . Staff got order wrong , missed at least 3 items. Needs to improve asap.

Would not recommend wouldn't go again there idea of a pizza is far from mine and to be charged £11.40 for that pathetic attempt at pizza is unbelievable do not go there 😡

Cold chips, charged £3.40 for small chips! We waited more than an hour for delivery then when we complained got noting but cheek off the tit on the phone. He hung up on us. Total crap show gadz🤮🤮🤮

This is disgrace got delivery of chicken donner korma suace and suace was al over the bag and cheese was al over place phe up to tell and get told I need to pay extra next time I order something with korma suace sorry to say 100 a month from us and we will nor order again xx

Full order never arrived. Donar pizza with onion was cold. And had to go on a search for donar meat. Garlic bread arrived and was unedible. Absolute joke. Save yer money go somewhere else

Placed an order at 18:15 and tried phoning them from 19:45 but constantly engaged. I eventually received my order at 20:00 for the food to be absolutely freezing so I sent it back with the delivery driver. Eventually got through to them and the guy was extremely rude and arrogant and said ok I’ll send a refund no apologies or anything. Absolutely disgusting service don’t touch this place if want hot food

We are regular customers and have never been so disappointed, a £60 order and the pizza is burnt and it’s that hard and stale I could through it off a wall and I recon the wall would crack, forgot a garlic dip, you did send another out 40 mins later, the grease inside the box of donner meat omg I could have flung my swimming costume on and went for a dip and we’ll what can I say about the chicken chat, it was bloody all over the bones and the chicken was black and didn’t taste right, the mixed pakora was disgusting and the sauce was really vinegary, I will be looking for a better Indian takeaway to spend my money. Poor service and quality all round.

Just picked up order. Food portions are tiny. ALL the meat products were cold, not even slight heat. So if we all have s****s we know why. Quality has got worse over the last year. Continually get orders wrong too

Terrible customer service called to complain and the mans attitude was stinking! My order was disgusting the pizza ordered was not as described even after leaving a note on my order notes for the server! Cheeky rude staff who dont care about paying customers! AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE! Terrible attitude along with stinking food!

We only used a couple of times since we moved but the food is good the pizzas are excellent no complaints

Ordered at 18;35 got a reply saying it will be between 19;10 and 19:30 at 20:00 phoned them and was told the order has gone, phoned them again at 20 20 and was told really busy and we have stopped taking orders, we will give you a refund, i did point out that it was nearly two hours late and that would not help two hungry people. we waited to 20:45 then asked for a refund, then i got a phone call from them very apologetic but did not say anything about where the food was, in my opinion they were busy, forgot about us and tried to lie there way out, NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Always ordered from here. Last 2 times though food took 2 hours and 4 phone calls and was cold on arrival. Safe to say won't be ordering again. Shame as used to be so good

Whenever I'm in Irvine I always stop off for a chicken Tikka Masala from Volcano... A total attack on the taste buds.. wonderful and cooked to perfection!! The best takeaway in town for sure 👌

Ordered a chicken pakora ,everywhere else in irvine gives you 13 bits of chicken but not volcano, l also ordered a chicken korma ,7 very small pieces of chicken and about a pint of korma sauce NEVER AGAIN will l pay that money for a snack

ordered a chicken tikka hoagie to pick up got home and they’ve gave me chips and cheese with chicken on top. I phone to say that’s not what I asked for and he says yes my supplier hasn’t been. Well why not tell me then? He then gets annoyed with me cause he never gave me what I asked for! Will not be back will go to new one Mediterranean in future it’s much better!

I'm a regular at volcanos, always order from here especially if I have people round! Their chicken burgers are stunning and really fresh and their portions are quite big! My guests loved it too so I would recommend this place to other people

Hey Ordered online at 11:20pm, still waiting at 12:15 so called them asking if it would be much longer they said it’s on it’s way, still didn’t get it at 1:10am I gave up I then got a phone call “was my neighbor” saying that I had a delivery.... it was the one from last night And it was burnt wtf?

Here the clue is in the name, the donner meat has got a little extra spice to it than usual, which I personally prefer, this place has been here ages and its easy to see why its lasted. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic menus n pizza is amazing n always great value for money and lovely friendly staff.Just last night I ordered kebab n they gave me kebab meat without sauce but befor I call them they send it. every thing was interesting.Food is great and always fresh fresh.Definitely I will come back.

Went to volcano tonight and asked for a large chips and cheese and a large chips and donner meat, was asked my order about 5 times by two different people and they charged me for the meals. Two members of staff then start arguing wither it was small or large (it was large we asked for) and I was told “sorry they made a small instead here is £2 back” absolutely terrible service, will go else where from now on.

was in the area for a meeting last week, tried this wee shop for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. food delivered swiftly and as I ordered, I was just impressed with the taste and quality!! defo will be back again at first chance.

My wife fancied a bag of chips after an ice cream, so we went to Volcanoes to purchase some. However our chips tasted of fish.......and they don't seem to have fish on the menu.....so we pondered how that could have happened :\

I can never fault Volcano, food is always great especially the naan and the chicken pakora! favourite Indian takeaway in Irvine!! Delivery is always fast too :) portions are just enough never any waste. Superb !

Food is good especially king kebab would recommend it delivery time is quick usually between 15-25 minutes even at the weekend

l had Indian food last night for first time from the Volcano Takeaway, i had curry from many shop but it was the best chicken curry i ever tasted.Cheers guys

here is my fave takeaway in the area,always had a fabulous meal from here. last night had guests unexpectedly n ordered food from here, delivered on time n exactly as I ordered, we were all pleased with the taste and quality. there was nothing to complain about. thanks a million guys! keep up good works.

Ordered a kebab from volcano not only were they the only ones available to deliver at 11.10pm it actually only took around 15mins from ordering it to arriving and the quality of the food was good

we ordered from here as one of our friend recommended it. i had spicy chicken burger & my son had pizza, it tasted Excellent, the portion was huge and price was reasonable, also they had discount on orders.really enjoyed our dinner n will order again definitely.

Used takeaway for years. Last 3 times we have got food it has been rubbish. Order mixed up or incomplete. SERVINGS ARE TINY NOW AND HAVE BEEN FOR SOME TIME. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Usually love Volcano and don’t have a bad thing to say but after tonight I’m not sure I’ll order again from here. I placed an order at 12:30. The order went through. Apparently after speaking to numerous advisors the restaurant actually stopped taking delivery orders at 11:30. I was told by 3 “agents” on just eat that my order was on its way numerous times and that it would be 10 mins. When I eventually got through to a just eat person on the phone they told me that my order wasn’t actually made in the first place. Don’t know why the restaurant didn’t think to phone me and let me know they couldn’t deliver my food as soon as I ordered it as it was past delivery time. Instead I sat waiting for 2 hours on my food for it not to show. Not a happy customer:(

Ordered a takeaway from Volcano and was not greatly impressed. Simply pizza and kebab so can’t be totally disappointed but was getting it delivered so it was fairly lukewarm when it arrived and had took longer than I expected so this probably affected my opinion of the food.

One of the better Indian takeaways in Irvine,,my son would honestly get your chicken pakora pizza everyday if I let him ,,so as you can imagine last weekend as he had went through a wee minor day surgery his treat for being brave was his pakora pizza so it cheered him up and made him feel a bit better

Ordered from here few times and in that time I have learned u need too actually go in shop and watch them if u actually want what u have ordered 4 times in phoning and not once did they get order right even when in shop u have too check your order before leaving

I dont order out a lot but when i want hot wings i order from here they are nice and spicy and always the same lovely taste for years now, also the curry here is a better then other places in irvine when calling for food, price is average, service normally good.

Nothing like a good greasy donner meat pizza for the day after a session. Volcano is pretty cheap and service is quite fast even on delivery .

phoned an order due to just eat not working ordered the European munchy box pakora & a kebab.the munchy box contained 2 fish fingers 2 chicken nuggets 1 bit of scampi & a handful of chips i bought the large box would hate to see what i got if i ordered the small.the pakora was tasteless & under cooked but the kebab was great 1 out of 3 was gooddelivery time was given as 40 mins but took 1 hour 40 to get to me poor meal wont be going back

I've only ever had great food from Volcano, and with quick service too. I'd recommend it for kebabs especially.

Just had a delish burger no tomato with cheese burger sauce side of onion rings and garlic sauce and was soooo tasty

Food is a hit or miss. Deliveries sometimes arrive with things missing. On this occasion the pizza was too thick and undercooked and the kebab meat seemed reheated. The lamb was excellent and the chicken tikka was first class. Some minor issues but nothing wasted.

the monster burger is amazing. anytime i visit my mate i always order a burger of some description. they are always excellent. i wrote this review mainly because i was laughing at the way the last reviewer wrote "discrace" when anyone with half a brain cell knows its disgrace lol. what a plonker .ha ha discrace lol

Ordered small cheese pizza garlic bread and chip and cheese was charged £14.50 as double delivery charge witch is fair enuff. When oped it order was wrong and pizza was like just out a freeze like they had forgot to cook it !!! When called I was angry as run out to get driver and he drove away I called the shop bearing in mind it was 11.50pm no complaine and want my money refunded 45mins at 12.35am no driver returned with refundTotal discrace and I for one will be taking this matter further as in my books that's stealing not retuning with my money and the food was not touched as freezing cold!!!

Best chicken kebabs in Irvine . Loads of chicken salad and sauce . Mega busy so you do have to wait a bit for your meal but well worth the wait .

Ordered through just eat. NEVER AGAIN !! Order not correct. Some things missing! Had to call just eat as they wouldn't answer their phone ( apparently they have problems with it, I bet they don't have problems with their till ) happy to take ur money but not to sort out order. I suppose alright for a drunken munch but not for ur tea on a thur night.

This is the 2nd time you've mucked up. Ordered through just eat.co.ukbut they can't be blamed. 91 mins for delivery. Wrong order, no salad no sauce on either kebab. Their excuse is you need to add it, kebab101 says it comes with, at least on side. Asked for chips with sauce on side, sauce is on and dried in as it's took so long. When we phoned to ask for a refund we get excuses and blame. Quality of food cannot disguise terrible service.

As an occasional fan of a donner kebab, I can honestly say that I rate the Volcano as by far the best in Ayrshire. The king donner is served on a freshly cooked nan bread with lots of meat & salad, and a pot each of chilli sauce and garlic yogurt dip. Delicious! My other half likes the pakora. A really clean place that uses good quality ingredients for their takeaways. If you're in Irvine, don't go anywhere else.

Dropped in here for a takeaway after having a couple of drinks and ordered a spicy chicken calzone. Turned out my bus was due so having already paid for the item, I agreed quickly that I would jump in the bus and get it delivered, which would be far cheaper than my taxi. I made the bus and phoned through the delivery details. The calzone arrived about half an hour later and I was charged £3.10 for delivery, which was a bit more than I expected as I thought it would be £2.50 tops. Food was still hot though and very tasty!

Good indian food, curries & pizza's are good. Burgers aint up to much tho, poor quality frozen ones from cash and carry. Besides that never had a bad experience. Just dont order a burger everything else is ok.
