Came for a dinner with my family at half four then had starter main and was starting to get very rushed and within 30 seconds of being given our dessert menus were we then had to tell multiple waitstaff repeatedly that we hadn’t even picked up the menus and then when we did order we were moved upstairs because of another customer who wouldn’t be seated (which isn’t their fault) but still wanted our table which they’d booked but we had been seated at Won’t be going back soon

Went for Sunday carvery and wasn't disappointed. Staff very friendly and service was quick. Food was delicious and they definitely don't skimp on servings.

Lovely atmosphere. Carvery was absolutely amazing and a great price. The service is second to none. Very attentive and lovely staff.

We visited Viscounts Restaurant last week. This was my second time here and it did not disappoint. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We really enjoyed our afternoon here and will be back soon.

Visited Viscounts recently with my family for a carvery lunch. Food was good, albeit lukewarm. The service was fairly poor though and unfriendly. They had an army of young girls who were all excellent but some of the young boys really aren’t cut out for customer facing jobs in hospitality. Either silent or inaudible grunts. Also the man in charge of cutting the meat (the owner I believe) silently looked at me like something he’d just scraped off his shoe when I said hello and told him what I wanted. To make things worse he then proceeded to greet the fella behind me with a big friendly hello / how are you etc. Maybe he’s only civil to people he knows personally? Anyway, not what you’d expect from a restaurateur.

We where there tonight. Food was first class, plenty of it. Service as usual was super. Thank you Nigel and team

Had the most fantastic lunch yesterday to celebrate my grandsons christening. Superb carvery with great selection of food and excellent friendly service. Very generous portions. You will definitely not go hungry. Thank you👏👏👏

The most amazing experience, atmosphere, fabulous service, and the owner Nigel, greated us with such warmth and kindness, it made for evening we won't forget. Highly recommend it, and I can't wait to come back to Northern Ireland and revisit this fabulous restaurant.

My mum asked me to write this review for her so here we go. Mum and her friend had a delicious meal in the restaurant on Saturday and were totally delighted with the quality of the food and the service they received. They both particularly wanted to compliment Nigel and his hardworking team for all the attention to detail and giving them a lovely evening to remember. This really is a lovely restaurant and we have many happy memories from family get togethers here , you will certainly not be disappointed.

OH MY GOODNESS, YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE AMAZING TIME I HAD AT VISCOUNTS! I took my wife to the north-west for a change, and we planned everything well in advance. And let me tell you, the restaurant we found was absolutely INCREDIBLE! From the moment we arrived, we felt so comfortable and the atmosphere was just lovely. The owner was so friendly and polite when he took our order, and we started our evening at the bar upstairs with some drinks. Now, let me tell you about the steak I had. OH MY GOSH, it was MASSIVE and cooked to perfection! I couldn't believe the value for money - I haven't had such a big steak in ages, especially in Northern Ireland. And the sides were just as amazing, though I had to force myself to eat some of them because of how stuffed I was. But that's a good thing, right? My wife decided to have a few smaller items instead of a big meal, and she was absolutely spoiled for choice with the sides. And when it came to dessert, OH MY WORD, the cheesecake and crème brûlée were out of this world! My mouth is watering just thinking about it again. And the atmosphere was just brilliant - even though it was very busy, everyone was so friendly and happy to wait for their table. We ended up chatting to some other customers who told us that the Sunday lunch was amazing too! If you're looking for somewhere different with the best steak and menu in Northern Ireland, you HAVE to check out Viscounts! The architecture of the place is just stunning too - it's like an old medieval church that's been modernized inside. And even though the owner and his sons were constantly busy serving customers, they still made an effort to check in on us and make sure everything was okay. I can't wait to go back to Viscounts again soon, and I'm already planning on taking my kids there for Christmas! Apparently, the owner goes all out with the decorations, and it's like a winter wonderland in Dungannon. The only downside is that there isn't a hotel in the town, but that's okay because Viscounts is the perfect start to a night out for food. Honestly, I just wish I had taken photos of the food because it looked and tasted so amazing! Congratulations to the owners of Viscounts - you have an absolutely incredible restaurant, and I can't wait to tell everyone I know about it!

I was pleased to be able to have dinner at this restaurant earlier today (29-04-2023). We had booked for 18:00 but when we got there we were told to go upstairs to the waiting area. It wasn't explained to us that this is just to have a drink, order your food and wait until your table is ready - so we thought it was just a waiting room. When our friend arrived, our order of food was taken and we were shortly after taken down to our table. I've never experienced a setup like this at a restaurant. It was grand but it's just that it wasn't explained so we were a bit confused. Anyway. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, seemed to know the menu well. They came and took away empty dishes to give us more space, and did other similar things. The food was really very good indeed, we all enjoyed our main courses and deserts. We were glad that we had booked as it was really busy. I now understand why this place gets such a good name, it is indeed excellent. Highly recommended and I'd hope to be back soon!

Very poor service yesterday at Sunday Carvery, ordered dessert and when my desert arrived, waiter said my wife's dessert wasn't available

1st time visit ,met with a friendly smile . We were 1st in the restaurant and the backing music was at a level to enjoy and still have a conversation. A great choice of starters that came prompt. Our waiter's were very knowledgeable about everything on the menu .By the time we were halfway through our mains a couple of large family groups had come in and the place was buzzing.. So overall a wonderful place to come and enjoy the food

I have been here several times and it is fantastic each visit. The Sunday carvery is amazing. The portions are more than generous and cooked to perfection. The staff are very helpful, friendly and provide a great service. The atmosphere is very welcoming and all priced very well. Dungannon is very lucky to have a high class restaurant like Viscounts.

Perfect dining experience from we walked in until we left .

The restaurant seems to want to churn people through as quickly as possible which didn't make for a very enjoyable evening... We arrived at 7:05 and went upstairs for a drink and peruse the menu - we took our time deciding what we we were going to have but once we had ordered (at about 7:25) it was a sprint from there to the finish!!We ordered 4 starters to share and they were sitting in front of us within about 5 minutes of us placing our order. This makes me think the food is sitting ready rather then being made to order. Starter plates were lifted and main course was on the table 2 minutes later and we were asked 3 times in 5 minutes if we were ready to place our order for deserts....Starters - scallops were warm at best, tempura chicken was done in regular batter (not tempura), brie was nice as was the cheesy garlic ciabatta.Main courses:Duck was not let rest after cooking so the juices were still running from it when it was served - spiced noodles weren't spiced and the sauce was like a runny sweet chilli sauce. Edible but you could knock up better at home yourself.Beef stroganoff was served with an absolute mountain of rice. The stroganoff itself was tasty enough but nothing special and lost in the rice.Deserts:Cheesecake and brownie with ice cream both ok but again nothing special.Overall a very disappointing evening with below par service. I'll not be back but worth a visit if you are trying to hone your speed eating skills.

We went out for dinner yesterday evening and despite the restaurant being far from busy we were rushed through everything which I did find the last time I was here. The food was ok but just ok and certainly not the best steak or venison We have ever had. The meat portions were very small the mushroom side was massive and the sticky toffee pudding was not nice at all - the starters were fine. We arrived at 7.30 and we got a drink then order was taken in the bar and we were immediately moved to the restaurant - we were leaving at 8.20 after a 3 course meal - the staff hovered and picked up plates so quickly and replaced with the next course that it was particularly heavy and not enjoyable. I think the emphasis is on what suits the restaurant service wise as opposed to what makes for an enjoyable evening for the customers - disappointing

A friend and I had been looking forward to having a meal and catching up. Had forgotten there’s no waiting area downstairs and no obvious sign of a lift, so my friend went back to reception and spoke to the lady, who was lovely and said we could go straight to our table. Restaurant was half empty, so this is obviously a way of getting you to buy a drink before dinner? Can’t see any other reason. We were shown our menu and then a man came to take our order and basically preempted everything we were going to say and we both felt it was like a race to order ASAP and when asked if the £16 chicken fillet with string onions and sauce came with champ, it was an abrupt no, so we had to order 3 sides to accompany our mains. So we had 2 of the chicken main courses, 3 sides and 2 soft drinks for £50. Felt it was expensive for a mediocre meal experience. The waiting staff (who were nice) seemed under pressure and we could relate. Don’t think we will be rushing back. Oh the lady at reception gave us a big cheery goodbye and she apologised for being asked to sit upstairs.

Would prefer if a side was included with the mains for the price being paid. Cocktails were good but £9 is quite pricey for Dungannon so I wouldn’t be tempted to get more than one.

Had a family meal at viscounts to celebrate our dads birthday. Shared some starters - king prawns and pulled chicken pork bruschetta- really good so was expecting same standard for the mains. Most of the group enjoyed their mains but please avoid the hake and scallops. I was so disappointed. Over cooked , soggy skin in a pool of tasteless gloop, topped by 3 asparagus stems boiled within an inch of their life. Only redeeming bit was the garlic potatoes- really good. Tyrone is good at spuds. This coupled with warm white wine wasn’t the best experience for my 1st real meal out of lockdown.

I used to visit on my own last year every now & again, and the place seemed like a time warp, with tacky decor & an unimaginative menu. I visited in a group yesterday and we all remarked on how good the food was. The menu has some imaginative options and it was well cooked. Well staffed & a vast improvement. I had scallops starter and beef medallions main. Well done & we will come back!!! Decor is still shockingly bad btw

Went out with my in-laws and hubby. So disappointing no social distancing here. We booked a table for 4 o’clock to avoid a lot of people we were the only ones in for a while then 4 loud mouthed women came in and were seated an arms length from us. We could not help hearing about there sex life and ex’s (those men had a lucky escape). For the upmarket place the waiter reached over us to clear cutlery and glasses which we were not going to be using off a preset table. I was so mortified for my elderly in laws. Service and food over rated and overpriced. I have been talking to a few people and they have experienced similar to us. One things for sure we will not be back. We don’t eat out often but when we do we appreciate good food and service but not in viscounts. We will not be here again.

No social distancing at all. We were directed upstairs on arrival but tables and chairs all close together. Ordered from disposable menus (apparently). When we were moved to our table, the waiter lifted our glasses and carried them to the table then reached across us to set them down. Food was fine but not an exciting choice. Would say that the Asian salad described as part of Chicken Bang Bang was merely a few (6) slivers of peppers beneath the 2 chicken skewers. I was too embarrassed to ask where the salad was but I assume that was it. The waiting staff consistently reached across to serve each course and no masks were worn at any point and tables were no further apart than normal. Dessert menus were laminated and labelled as having been sanitised but I would be unsurprised if they were not. Why have disposable a3 menus for starters and main courses and laminated a5 menus for desserts? Bizarre. Overall a disappointing experience and distinctly uncomfortable. There were several large groups who were obviously not part of a household bubble. Truth to tell, there was virtually no evidence of a pandemic or safety measures. As we got up to leave, I noticed small bottles of hand sanitiser on some tables but there was none on ours.

We have dined at Viscounts since this fine restaurant opened and for several years it was really enjoyable to dine in comfort. Whilst the food remains extremely pleasant the restaurant has increased in size and is now busy and at times extremely noisy. The staff are really pleasant but are required to gallop around at break neck speed with no time to speak to customers. The ambiance at Viscounts, which was so much appreciated has unfortunately been sacrificed.

We were pleased to be able to book a table at short notice on a Saturday evening. Relaxed environment, spacing and social distancing was ok. We would have been happier going straight to our table rather than having to sit in a lounge area but it was a busy time and we were waiting too long. Hand sanitiser on the tables was a lovely touch. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We thought they had the right balance of being polite but not spending unnecessary periods of time at the table which is completely understandable given the Covid situation. Great choice of dishes, large portions and everything was very tasty.

Excellent restaurant with great service. Dined here during the 50% off offer. Service was quick, very efficient & friendly staff. Food was delicious, cooked perfectly. They have an excellent kids menu, it includes small steak, chicken & pasta. The chicken dinner from the kids menu was really good, much better than the rubbish other restaurants serve up to kids. The duck main course was excellent, crispy skin & served with a small portion of garlic potatoes & red cabbage. Beautiful. The desserts were also excellent. It’s just a really nice restaurant. Haven’t been in years but was so good think I will go back in September as the 50% is being continued by the restaurant for another month! For two adults & two kids, having mains & desserts it was £35 during the offer. I know they also do an early bird menu at other times if the year which is good value. It’s also very clean & everyone spaced out appropriately.

First time being out from covid-19.very pleased and felt very safe. Have not been in the restaurant in over 20 years (too long). Greeted at the door with a very friendly waiter and took up to our table. Order and food was very quick service it was a carvery. Plenty of food on the plate and staff was excellent. Kept coming over and checking if all was OK. Everyone was well spaced out making you feel very safe.Everything was first class from we went in until we left. Definitely will be back soon not in another 20 years.

Its been a few years since I have eaten in here but decided to treat the in-laws as a birthday surprise. I had the creamy bacon pasta with garlic bread which tastes much as it sounds in a good way. Father-in-law had the Gammon on the early bird menu which is great value for 2 courses and portions are large. I finished off with the apple and cinnamon tart with custard but it had a bit too much cinnamon for me but was palatable. You never go to far wrong in this establishment and everyone was happy with their meals and the service.

Myself and my partner went tonight (26/02) for my birthday. We had the duck and a burger, the duck was out of this world, cooked to perfection and the plate was far from scarce with food. Burger definitely wouldn't have left you hungry, outstanding meal. We ordered desserts and a waiter came down with a home made cake and a huge fountain sparkler playing happy birthday, which was lovely but I was laughing in shock with the reddest face! Highly highly recommend, service was so good and fast but not rushed, staff were lovely and thankyou again for my gorgeous homemade cake!

We hadn’t been to the viscounts in a while so it was a nice surprise . Always great menu. Won’t leave it so long to go back. Highly recommend.

Another class meal at Viscounts. For the second time, we were served by Hannah Wilson and she is just brilliant. Always smiling and great fun. Pity she is off to New Zealand later this month but hope she has a great time.

An absolute treasure of a restaurant and a consistent treasure at that Having been here regularly over a number of years the place never disappoints Customer service is key to the success of this restaurant. From the moment you set foot into the bar you are a priority, the waiting area which is a tastefully furnished, is a beautifully relaxing space to look over the generous menu.Nigel takes the time to take orders and knows the menu off by heart and all the staff have clearly had extensive training with the core customer focus at heart. Decent vegetarian menu (surprisingly hard to come by in this area) and fab steaks (so I’m told). Even on paying the bill every customer gets the attention that is required.Worth a trip. Being regular patrons of VIscounts for many years. We arrived on a busy Friday evening before Christmas with high hopes of having a lovely meal.There were 4 off us 3 adults and a child. Who was totally enchanted by the Christmas lights and decorations. The 3 off us opted for the Christmas menu. (Bad Choice) after a short wait we were shown to our table. Starters arrived soon after. The Melon was fine. But the Tiger Prawns were soggy. Child’s main course arrived with our starters as requested and was ok. Everything went rapidly downhill when our mains arrived. My Roast Beef was a grey colour very chewy and totally lacking in flavour. The 2 Turkey dinners were equally disappointing. Turkey must have been sliced in a bacon slicer and sandwiched between was a minuscule piece of Ham. I am assuming that these were bought in precarved portions. Totally lacking in flavour and more what one would expect from a supermarket than a Restaurant. Deserts were equally disappointing. 2 off us went for the Christmas Pudding. Which was a pale yellow colour and more akin to “Fruit Swiss Roll” Again obviously bought to cater for the Christmas rush. The other deserts were ice cream so not much one can do to spoil it.On going up to settle our bill I was asked how our meal had been. On saying our disappointing it had been. All I got as an excuse was “We are extremely busy tonight “So Viscount this is one previously loyal patron who won’t be back.

Had not been to viscounts in quite a while as I felt food was not reflecting the prices but went for dinner last night with the family and it has definitely improved. Only giving the four star rating as I felt the wait upstairs before we were seated was quite long and the waiting area was packed some of us had to stand as no seats were left.You get a decent sized meal for your money. I had soup to start and fillet for my main it was delicious. Will be back soon.

Never was in this restaurant before but heard good reports so booked for Sunday lunch.First impressions - man who greeted us at counter was average.. Not rude or anything but not overly friendly.Ordered a red pepper roasted soup and prawn cocktail to start. Both were very nice. Waiter who served us was very mannerly.Queued up for Sunday carvery. Had gammon and sirloin, creamed potatoes, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, turnip, cabbage and stuffing. All very good. Meat was lovely.Dessert we ordered a pavlova and a brulee.Lunch was 21 pounds for three courses. Overall very good.

Always enjoy my meals at the Viscount. They have a great selection of food and 9 different selections of potatoes! Great atmosphere and service.

Booked this for our annual pre Christmas visit to Santa at the argory. Decor is lovely and good food options however arrived for 530pm meal and got food at 640pm...far too long and thankfully I'd booked so that had enough time to get to argory for 730pm....the long wait seemed completely unnecessary....and took some.of the enjoyment away.

Had a wonderful dining experience in Viscount on a staff Christmas night out. From entering the restaurant, the opulent decor embraces the Christmas spirit creating a sense of wonder and awe. The Christmas menu presented, had a good range of dishes for each course. My choice of deep fried Brie, traditional turkey and ham followed by Pavlova was delicious. Natalie, our waitress, was attentive and efficient throughout and she contributed to the warm and friendly atmosphere experience. A great beginning to the celebrations of this Christmas season. Felt like scam as early bird menu not give to us. When we went to order dessert waitress said we were eligible. But when went to pay we were charged full price

My wife and I had Sunday lunch in Viscounts, the food was good, however I just required a main course, this was an available option and we paid for a full carvery and a main course. On my visit the following week I mentioned to the waiter that that was again my intention, he refused and was quite argumentative and rude. At the reception I was told that the waiter had talked to the receptionist who in a brusque manner refused to charge as previously. The overcrowding in the restaurant was also extremely uncomfortable, management would be prudent to reduce the number of patrons in order to improve the ambiance and customer comfort and safety. I would strongly recommend lunching in one of the other excellent restaurants in dungannon and surrounding areas if you require service which is mannerly and a pricing strategy which is both consistent and suits the dietary needs of customers.

Delicious dinner, served with class. We arrived on time for our reservation and were directed to the upstairs lounge. We enjoyed a drink and ordered our dinner from the menu. 15 minutes later we were escorted down to our table and served immediately. Very efficient, without being hurried. Dinner with wine was 125 pounds.

We so love this place. It's our go to restaurant in Dungannon. Quirky deco excellent service and good food sets the Viscount apart. The menu is varied with good veggie options and the early bird is great value for a group eating out. Recently we haven't enjoyed the puddings so we have opted for the starter and main course and have never been disappointed. ( I should mention Christmas here is a treat with lots of decorations and comfort food - your inner child will not be disappointed )

I had not been here for years it was my Husbands first visit the food was very basic for the price not worth diverting of the motorway

Celebrating with family at Viscounts was a wonderful memorable experience. I had phoned ahead a let them know it was a special occasion so they looked after us superbly. The service from the Owner down to the young lad who served our food was gracious and very professional. At desert stage the owner Mr Scott played Happy Birthday and brought out a small with candle. We were thrilled and it made us feel very special.

The best of the best in Dungannon! Yes you do pay a little more for your dinner in here but not an awful lot more. The food is exquisite and the setting is beautiful. I think you pay extra for sides and the cocktails too pricey so we just got ordinary drinks instead. But can’t fault the food, ambience and service.

While on holiday in the local area I popped in for dinner with my family which included 3 kids (1 in a buggy). We hadn’t booked and although it was Saturday night we were asked to sit upstairs in the lounge bar until a table was made ready. The lounge bar itself is comfy and lots of people were ordering cocktails and nice glasses of Prosecco.

Fabulous lunch in this excellent restaurant yesterday. We called without booking and were pleased to learn the restaurant is open all day.

My wife and I, along with cousins who live in Northern Ireland. had dinner at Viscount. Fantastic experience, great food, and very knowledgeable and attentive staff. I highly recommend Viscount for fine dining.

Had dinner here on Saturday evening, first time I had been in this restaurant. Loved the decor and the fact that the tables are spaced out enough that you feel comfortable. Very good choice of menu........I was spoilt for choice. Our started was absolutely delicious and the main course was every bit as good. The portion size are very generous. I usually love to have a dessert but there was no way I could have eaten another bite. Definitely worth a visit and I would have no problem recommending this place to anyone.

I was recommended to visit this restaurant by several family members so thought I’d take the opportunity when I visited NI in July. Arrival was ok, we were taken to our table and offered drinks. After 10mins we ordered and drinks were served. I ordered filet steak @ £26... I was expecting this to come with some accompaniments at that price but it did not, unless you class a solitary token vine tomato as such. Honestly, I wish I’d taken a picture as that was all was on my plate! The steak itself was cooked to order, but lacked any amount of seasoning! My partners meal was by comparison plentiful and by all accounts delicious. The servers (on this occasion) were neither friendly, nor efficient. I’m not sure I would bother to make a visit here again. We travelled from Omagh and I’m confident there are better restaurants in this vicinity.

Met here for a business dinner. Was my first visit. Atmosphere was excellent. Staff extremely friendly and helpful especially jarleth and Natalie. Servers comfortable giving recommendations off the menu. Had salt and chilli squid starter - possibly slightly too salty (and I like salt) but not bad. Open steak sandwich - very tasty - changed the pepper sauce for Diane sauce which was recommended and no problem - was lovely. Tobacco onions v tasty and chips were good. Diane sauce excellent. Would possibly have liked more steak than was served as a portion.

We had a lovely family celebrate the food was great and staff friendly. The kids enjoyed their meal. We went around 5pm as we had three small children in the party. A lovely time was had by all.

We went for our anniversary dinner, the service and food was mediocre, not bad, certainly not great. The decor in the seating area is lovely but the main restaurant itself is like a tired, strangely confused themed pub, the pricing isn't ridiculous but it's too dear for what they provide. I fear Viscounts is trading on its long past reputation, it's certainly not an unpleasant experience at all, but sadly we won't be back as there are now much nicer places with more exciting menus nearby.

I’ve eaten here loads over the years but this past few times it’s all a bit meh. The food not what it was and recently had the function menu which is very bad value for money.

Viscounts Restaurant is a treat not to be missed. Booking is advisable at weekends as it's usually busy. The building itself looks like an old church and the decor inside is fantastic a mix of modern and old. The service is great staff are polite and friendly. The food is excellent catering for a wide range of tastes. Although it can be very busy it's lovely place for families, couples or larger groups. I would recommend a visit.

This is my absolute favourite restaurant! Brilliant range on the menu, great service and absolutely amazing food- great portion sizes and tastes amazing, never disappoints! We drive nearly an hour to get there but so worth it, can’t recommend enough!

Great service, the risotto was so buttery it nearly made me sick, less butter,, to much on a plate , a side of parmesan crisps would be nice , to much risotto on one plate

We had a beautiful meal in Viscounts the other night. There was so much choice (including vegetarian) and the food spelt amazing.

We visited this little Gem for my mum's 85th Birthday. It was amazing from start to finish.A great choice on the menu and flavour and potions were huge.Staff were very attentive and knew their job well.The Resturaunt itself it beautifully decorated and inside has a lovely ambiance.The special touch they have for Birthday Wishes was brilliant and made my mum's night.I would really recommend this place to visit. You won't be dissappointed

Large table and courses came together and promptly. Couldn’t fault service from friendly staff . Most had the early bird which was excellent and great value

We went to the Viscounts for our Christmas lunch on 21st December 2018 - it was quite a large table, maybe 18 of us.

The food is good quality and is a nice place to eat the surroundings are good and nice staff there is silver cutlery and the kids meals are good portions unlike most places so it is a place that the whole family can enjoy

Food is really good and a lovely atmosphere inside. Maybe a bit on the pricey side for some dishes but would still recommend.

We visited for Sunday Lunch yesterday which was fabulous. We used to be regulars going about twice a month but haven’t been for a long time. Salted chilli chicken starter was the best ever so tasty and a guy opposite thought that too. Soup was lovely too. As for the main lovely meats, beautiful stuffing, vegetables and roasties just right. Desserts are the things Viscounts don’t do well but profiteroles and hot chocolate sauce i couldn’t fault. Pavlova could be much better. Disappointed that a lot of the long-standing staff no longer there as they were fab Waiter service was very good and attentive but at times too quick to take away your plate

Unique surroundings in a converted church building with remarkable Christmas decorations - worth a visit on their own. Really good food, good service, hard to fault.

I paid a visit to Viscounts last night for a large family Christmas do and I cannot fault the place! We started the night upstairs in the newly refurbished bar and even though I thought our big group of 30 was going to get in the way, the owner came over in person and assured us that we could relax there until we wanted to be moved to our table. When we did move across to the restaurant the service was impeccable. Even though the place was packed, all our tables were seen too with great professionalism. The food was delicious and the feast that was included in the three course Christmas menu CANNOT be beaten!! All in all, it was a great night and I can’t wait to dine in Viscounts again soon.

We especially booked this restaurant to mark an special occasion with me and my partner Marc - I even rang and emailed to make sure that we were to be sitted upstairs in the restaurant as this was the reason we had chosen the restaurant but instead we were plucked in a pokey wee corney downstairs it was awful - if we hadnt of got a taxi we would have just got up and left

Had a birthday party meal tonight here. To be honest the meal I had was disappointing. Nothing really special..a piece of chicken..bowl of coleslaw..battered pineapple..16 quid??!!! And chips would be extra?? Look I personally feel ripped off. Overpriced and tacky.

Service is always consistently great! Even when busy.
