Very warm welcoming coming from the lovely staff. Vegetarian breakfast, absolute divine. reasonably priced. Coffee was lovely and hot.

Following your comment requiring more info, I m very glad to provide. Good quality for burgers and bread. Prices reasonable but the customer service is problematic. Certain people from your crew are very rude. Same people never exhibited any similar behaviour to locals esp native speakers for the 6 months I was visiting your store (almost twice a week). I was even told in a totally inappropriate manner that I m actually buying too much too often. I stopped coming and I d never come back. I do however appreciate your swift comment.

All the staff here are friendly, they know the bakery and produce well and are ready to assist you at a moment's notice. The Village Bakery has a wide selection of breads and cakes, plus various other hot savouries and more, all cooked to perfection and tasty. Every time I have visited this bakery it has been busy, which is a testament in itself to the quality of the baked goods available here. While it is busy there are always staff available to serve you quickly. The bakery is a handy stop-off point if you are on a morning commute as you can pick up breakfast rolls, pastries, soup, tea, coffee etc. The bacon roll I purchased was a perfect start to the day and the pastries made a welcome addition to my lunch. The pastry I had was tasty and I thought better quality than one I got at another high street chain. The bakery is conveniently located on the main high street. If you have a vehicle there is plenty of on-street parking (metered and machines nearby) available and while the high street can get busy you should not have a problem finding a space nearby. I would definitely recommend this bakery if you are in the area. I look forward to visiting again, many more times.

Wow...a group of us chose to have a team 'Brunch' here after driving from Taunton for a Seniors cricket match v Middlesex at Harefield CC. We were not disappointed....had an amazing Full English Breakfast, with tea and hot buttered toast included for <£10. Great service, warm welcome and stunning value! Definitely worth a visit ...if only to attempt the 'Mega' option! Sadly (for us) we lost the match!🙄

The bread is proper cooked bread. When I want bread, I want it to be tasty, vibrant, something I can bite and divulge while it’s still hot. I want my bread, to be something I enjoy. And at the Village Bakery. They fulfil all my needs.!! Xx Every Weekend!!

Having an early hospital appointment, I was lucky to find this great cafe open very early. It was very clean and well managed. There were plenty of staff on duty and they were all really nice and helpful. The breakfast choice is excellent. I enjoyed my breakfast and happy to spend a little time there.

Sausages and egg were not cooked, the tomatoes were to dried out did not get no juice out of them. Also had mould on the bread did not want to do discount on the bill due to this

Food is lovely such a shame certain staff are letting the team down . Everyone was very welcoming besides one elderly lady who ruined my experience by firstly giving intimidating looks before we had even stepped in the door . This same woman then undermined the youngest female staff member in front of all the customers , which was not only embarrassing for the young blonde girl but everyone that witnessed the unprofessionalism shown. She proceeded to take my order and was very dismissive almost as if she had better things to do and I wasn’t worth her time . Interrupted me whilst giving my order a number of times and was very impatient . Everyone has bad days , but at her age she should have gathered the knowledge that negative attitudes are to be left at home not brought to your place of work .

We quite often come in here for breakfast at the weekend and we’ve popped in for lunch on the odd occasion too. We love this cafe. The staff are always amazing. And the food and portion sizes for the price is just brilliant!! We’ve never had an issue here and always look forward to coming back!

Popped in for a sandwich. Much to choose from in sandwiches, rolls or baguettes. Friendly service. I eventually chose a bacon sandwich, it was delicious, the best for a long time.

I went in for a couple of drinks the service was really good and the staff were really friendly. But a week later I get a parking ticket and was not aware I needed to pay for parking so wont go there again

Don’t let the bad reviews put you off. Have come here for years in and off and never had a bad breakfast. Service is good and portions are huge. Great lavazza coffee. Healthier options have been introduced, the smashed avocado on toast is very decent. It’s always very busy. They do excellent thick old school milkshakes too.

Great products at very reasonable prices and a very good early start to the day with the early opening time and a bacon and sausage roll with a cup of tea for less than £5. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off I have never seen the staff use their hands and it’s always as clean as an operational traditional bakery can be, you’re obviously going to get flour around as they make the products fresh... in front of you.

Best bakery around by miles , no question , lovely staff too

Sat there for 5 mins. No service. Went up to the counter, thinking you had to, but turns there was table service. Ordered a dish with salmon in it. 10 mins later - no salmon. Ordered something else. Toast turned up burnt. Went to buy a drink at the counter. Was told to pay extra for the replacement dish as the other was not available. Why dont you mention that at the time of ordering. Terrible customer service and the food wasnt great

My husband and I went to this cafe to have breakfast... the exteriors are a put off however the inside was clean and modern. We did not go for the usual full English and decided to eat light instead. We had eggs Benedict and the the Avocado Smash, both were made fresh and tasty. Compliments to the chef as the food was simple yet delicious. We had a very fulfilling experience and was not disappointed at all.

Absolutely terrib. A filthy hole. Staff who are rude with false nails who use Thier hands at every opportunity. WILL NOT visit again. Further to your response I would advise you that it is against food safety regulations to allow your staff to have false nails. And also to use their hands. You could however deal with that very quickly by not allowing your staff to wear false nails and jewellery a d provide tongs for them to use.

Popped in here for breakfast whilst running early for a meeting in the area. Food was ok, but not particularly outstanding. Everything was ok, but nothing more than that. When you consider a set breakfast costs nearly £8 was a bit of a disappointment. I won't be hurrying back.

Although it looks like a greasy cafe, Harefield Village Cafe serves really nice, hot food. Had breakfast there, expecting something overly greasy, but it was very tasty and well made.

It's opposite the hospital and no more options available here so what ever u get it's here only in this area

They do a wonderful all day breakfast here. Went in the other day with a group of 5 of us and managed to squish onto the american-style booths they have, just about! they have a huge selection of breakfast, lunch and even dessert/snack options available, including smoothies and milkshakes which i was thrilled at. Service was quick, and food was hot and yummy. Would definitely come back, thanks to the huge range, cheap price and great taste!

Great products for just a few pennies extra

Delicious baked goods and treats baked fresh every day. They do some wicked cookie decorating and at good prices. The staff there are always friendly and pleasant too.

Treated ourselves to a cooked breakfast and this lovely little village cafe did not disappoint. I had the breakfast brunch option (sausage, bacon, tomato and mushrooms with eggs of your choice I had scrambled). Very generous portions with toast and coffee. Staff were polite and service was good.

I was out and about working. I was hungry. I often just get a sandwich in a filling station. However I spotted the Village Cafe and thought for once I needed a rest. I was not disappointed. I had a very generous cooked breakfast, with eggs just as ordered, not as the staff think I wanted. Very pleasant small cafe. I will go again.

I use the bakery often and always leave happy, breakfast roll and a cup of coffee this time. The cakes and Belgian buns are beautiful both in flavour and to look at. Staff are friendly and attentive , service is usually very quick although sometimes it can be busy. This is a very popular bakery loved by the community far and near. Food quality 10/10 Pricing 9/10 Quality service 10/10 Stock availability 9/10 - I'm always dissapointed if my treats have run out. Service speed 8/10- (this accounts for the busy periods and is due to the popularity not staff speed) I most definitely recommend to anybody Always prepared perfectly and cost efficient

After a previous top score, this was somewhat disappointing. Ordered a full English breakfast but it just wasn't up to scratch. The bubble & squeak was a soggy, inedible mess. Bacon hard, eggs overcooked. Hope things will soon improve & return to previous high standard.

Él recientemente añadido algunas interesantes nuevas opciones de menú: huevos Benedict y huevos revueltos con salmón ahumado. Le deseo lo mejor.

Buen desayuno y servicio, pero hay una bastante buena oportunidad tendrá de ser adolescentes y grosero y desagradable ruido cuando usted está tratando de comer. Uno en realidad sentado en mi mesa mientras yo estaba comiendo. Yo estaba a punto de cara a mi granos vegetales él caliente pero él parecía venir a sus sentidos y se trasladó fuera bastante temprano. La administración necesita tener controlado en este tipo de cosas

I bought my daughter and 2 friends in for a St Patrick's day milkshake, one of the girls made a mistake & ordered a flavour she did not like, the wonderful staff asked if everything was ok so I told him about the mistake, to my surprise he swapped it for her

The breakfast is good and good value for money. There is quite a big range of food on the menu. The staff can be quite abrupt and a bit rude... they do not know how to smile.

They must have been having a bad day, they were busy but still no excuse for the poor serving of food I received. Yes I know the bacon needs colour to get flavour but this bacon was cooked for far too long and was brittle hard. The eggs fared no better which had not been cooked with any or limited oil on a hot plate which leaves the bottom of the fried egg with a brown burnt horrible crisp on. I guess the other people who have left reviews below me had a better breakfast, I didn't. The wait for the food was 20 minutes but as I said they were busy. Just for good measure the waitress short changed me by £1, luckily I spotted it straight away in front of her, this could have been a genuine mistake, who knows, so I’ve put it on here so if it happens again and someone else reports it then we will all know for sure.

If you want a first class english breakfast then this is the place to go to. In fact the whole menu looked great, but the breakfast choices were fantastic. The cafe was clean and light and the staff friendly. Good value for money too.
