Superb restaurant. First place I came with my now wife 25 years ago. Food and service still excellent. Highly recommended.

Decent local restaurant serving excellent Italian cuisine. The Villa Rosa pizza was amazing! The mushroom ravioli was incredibly tasty. The cherry cheesecake finishes everything off nicely.

They fitted us in at short notice and the service and food was impeccable. They were so attentive, food was classic amazing Italian homemade standard and we thoroughly enjoyed every course. Thank you for making our Mother’s Day meal so special!

Great atmosphere and service. Very authentic in that respect. Some dishes are great - mainly pizzas. Others not so great. The lasagne was unfortunately not on par as you would expect from such a place. Felt like a frozen supermarket lasagne had been thrown into the oven and then spewed with tomato soup. Edges were hot but middle was warm at best. No real taste, no seasoning and incredibly bland. Pizzas are the best option. Fresh and made well. Desserts are very good but expensive for the portion.

Old school Italian. Excellent food and perfect service. Decent value for money. My first visit and hope to return - just a pity not more local to where l live!

Lovely restaurant, food, drink and staff all very good

We arrived without a reservation as we were staying local. The staff made room for 4 of us without a delay. All we can say is that every course was beautiful. Hot and flavour was amazing. Best service we have reserved for a long time. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Visited on a recommendation. Perhaps unwisely picked Saturday night, which proved so noisy that conversation was difficult. No complaints about the main (although not exciting) . But, the dessert trolly was chased three times before it arrived and contained below average desserts with what tasted to be cream out of a bottle (not fresh). The service started friendly and attentive but tailed off and the waiter did not take kindly to being told he was ignoring us. Will not be going back.

We took the family firm Sparks Welding Services for the Team’s Christmas Party on Friday 22nd 2023. What a great evening and great food. Villa Rosa had a full house and still managed to take care of our party of 16. This is the best Italian for miles around don’t go anywhere else. As a family we have been coming to this restaurant since 2006. Highly recommended for quality Italian Food. Thanks for a really nice evening. Rachel

We ate here this past weekend and as always the atmosphere was lovely; the staff friendly and attentive; the food tasted delicious -BUT....the portion sizes have shrunk considerably and the cost has increased!! Nearly £20 for a risotto and I was tempted to do an Oliver Twist and ask:"Please Sir can I have some more". One of our table guests had the cannelloni and that too was skinny...2 tubes of cannelloni that did not fill the dish it was served in. They looked lost in the dish. The pizza seemed to be the best value and was a good size. Pity about that as in the past it was exceptional on all fronts.

We were a family of 4 with 2 young children who went for early dinner on a Tuesday night after a visit to Legoland Windsor. I chose the restaurant following good reviews on Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. We ate a bowl of mussels, sea food spaghetti and 2 pizze Calabresse ( the first was so tasty we ordered another!). The kids ate like horses which is a sure sign of great food. Clean plates all round! Moretti beer on draft was another plus point. I lived and worked in Italy for almost 5 years and this Villa Rosa reminded me the most of the best of family-run Italian restaurants. Well-staff and the waiters were friendly, attentive and amusing. All in all all definitely recommended and we would go again if in the area

Perfect authentic, friendly italian Ambiente and food

Been here for lunch a few times, not a great choice for a vegan, but my daughter really loves their fish dishes and my mum loves the waiters!

We stopped here for a lovely dinner as we were on an evening walk, the place looked so good from the outside. The staff are very friendly and we were able to order quite quickly. They had nice wine on offer for reasonable price and we ended up going through two I would say the highlight of the meal was the pizza as it was cooked in an authentic oven

Great food, attentive service, would absolutely recommend!

We were so looking forward to coming here and were so disappointed. I ordered chicken pasta and requested to change mushrooms to broccoli which they said was fine. When the meal arrived the pasta had my broccoli in but no chicken, so I sent the meal back for them to add the chicken in. The plate came back with freezing cold blocks of chicken just thrown on top of the warm pasta! Even when mixed in with the rest it was such a bland meal, I can make better at home which isn’t what you expect from an Italian restaurant. 10% service charge was already added to the bill which I resented paying as the meal was so poor. Overall a very disappointing visit and won’t be back.

Over twenty years ago I was a student in the area and this restaurant was always there but unfortunately as a poor student I couldn’t afford to dine here. We were in the area so decided to go here. Boy it hasn’t changed and it has that old school Italian rustic feel with no nonsense waiters who have probably been there since day dot. We had the tricolore salad and prosciutto and melon to start with. Generous portions and let’s face it no cooking required but the ingredients were top notch. For mains I had the tagliatelle al busco and my friend had the lasagna both again great portions and tasty. Dessert of tiramisu and cheesecake were slightly disappointing. I’m so glad that after two decades I got to dine here. It’s a rustic Italian and in my opinion not too bad.

Good home style Italian food. Will not be disappointed!!

As authentic as you can get for an Italian restaurant in the local area, Villa Rosa continues to offer high quality Italian dishes with great quality and variety. Specials including seafood dishes, veal and steaks are always tempting and the pizzas, pastas and Italian staples such as pork medallions are well cooked and accompanied with sauteed potatoes and veg or chips. Highly recommended - great for a date or a family meal. Decor could do with a bit of an update but the Godfather images and mass produced Fiat 500 paintings don't detract from the food at all. Old school dessert trolley loaded with classics and Italian charm in the service tops off a great Italian restaurant!

Had a couple of excellent takeaway pizzas - the Torino and contadino I think! The pizzas were just delicious and good value. Though we did not eat in the service we received when ordering was very polite and friendly and I definitely wish to return to try a sit down meal at some point. If you are looking for more authentic pizzas than your usual chain takeaways, I’d definitely recommend trying here.

Used to come here twice a week minimum when I lived in Egham. Last time I visited was November 2019 due to Covid. The place hasn't changed much, nor has the menu. I actually had what I always used to order and it was still very good. Pascale the owner came over and gave me a big hug when we arrived. I had Parmigiano to start, followed by the Veal Escalope with a side of Veg. All four of us shared a selection of the desserts. All yummy.

Overrated in my opinion. Went with friends on their recommendation. Very disappointed with my meal of rack of lamb. Asked for medium to well done. Portion was minute. Three tiny ribs. Lamb was overcooked one side and very rare the other. It was extremely chewy with the consistency of leather and very dry. Tiny amount of jus. Ordered two garden salads. Only one ever turned up despite reminding the staff and then they tried charging for the two. Probably the wrong choice of dish as my wife and friends enjoyed their choice. Will probably not return.

The place was also Autism friendly, the music was at a low volume, which is great for those with sensitivity to sound, and the lighting was great! Thank you!

Family meal for 12, easy to book online. Friendly faves inside. Good food, large portions and reasonable price at under £40 per head for starters and mains although we didn’t have dessert or drink wine.

I have been here a few times with my son and my brother for lunch and dinner and the food is delicious. The service is wonderful and really feels like a traditional family run restaurant. The tiramisu is amazing!

First time me & my husband been here for dinner and I wasn’t to happy. It was a very loud atmosphere but I am probably comparing this to other family run Italian restaurants. My husband bought a lamb shank which we was told would come with a side veg but came alone which cost over £23 which we found was quite pricy for a small portion of lamb. Tbh wouldn’t be going here again.

Fabulous authentic Italian restaurant, with amazing food and fabulous service. They couldn't have done any more, they went over and above at every moment. Our waiter Juliano was brilliant. Having 2 fussy girls, it's often hard to find food they like but all the staff were so accommodating. The dessert trolley was a very pleasant surprise, with over 7 types of fresh desserts. Thank you to all the staff at Villa Rosa.

Amazing food, I can't disagree. However.. I've only been here three times and all three I have felt uncomfortable due to the staff that constantly watch me while I was eating and one I've only just finished they race over to grab the plate. It's not exactly professional but a bit of trust and respect in giving other space to enjoy their time here doesn't hurt.

Very accommodating of our children 5 & 1 highchair, plastic cups and a lolly pop when leaving. My partner had the steak and said it was the best he's ever had! The deserts 👌amazing.

Average classic Italian food in a cozy environment with very Italian staff. Portions and process were good, but let down by the ingredients; our tomatoes were tasteless and swordfish overcooked.

Food ok. Service and staff not what I would expect at an Italian restaurant. Staff not friendly and attentive, felt akward asking for anything. Very surprised to have a service charge of 10% added to our bill when we were a couple. I would expect this for a party of 6 or more. Will not be returning or recomending. Disappointing :-(

I would say in a whole that its okay ish.... -Pasta with mixed wild mushrooms was okay ish... -Lasagne....well i dont know if there was any meat in it...loads of tomato sauce and pasta what was basically... -omg the pizza.... all i can say that in some of the corner shops u can buy better! I was a bit disappointed of this being an Italian restaurant an their pizza is so average... On our visit the staff was a but upset and we heard them arguing with each other, mood wasent the best...

When a male student with Woke politics at Royal Dunceaway University assaulted and broke the nose of a female student with non-Woke politics Robert Hampson and the rest of the English department didn't punish the man and quickly awarded him a First Class Honors degree. Then Robert Hampson even blamed the female student with the broken nose for her assault. Specifically, he blamed HER--THE VICTIM--for emotional immaturity whereas he said NOTHING about the ATTACKER. Royal Dunceaway is an insanely politicized institution with degraded academics and even more degraded morals. Even using the word, "morals," in describing Robert Hampson is being overly generous.
