Villa Bianca in Surrey Heath

First time visiting as we are new to the area a was very pleased. Staff were friendly and inviting and informative on what was on offer. Food was great and we both enjoyed our visit. Would recommend for a quaint Italian experience.

My favourite Italian, been coming here since I was a kid. Never had a bad meal ! Really friendly staff, funny owner and wait staff who have all worked there as long as I can remember. Best meal for the price in the area. Try the Vongole

Very tasty, nicely cooked, good range of options on menu, polite efficient service. Affordable car park nearby. Visited midweek, early lunch, nice and quiet for a chat.

What was probably the best Italian restaurant in the area for the last 30+ years, now very disappointing. The pizza was awful, cold in the middle and the topping mildly warm -undercooked and then with a burnt blackened base. inedible. Bay leaves (parts) left in the soup. My pasta dish (which i’ve had many times previously) was lacking taste and content. The staff were indifferent, to the point of not knowing what meat was in the lasagne. ‘Just meat’ was his reply. I could go on ….. I think it’s had it’s day.

Have always had a takeaway but such a lovely local Italian with brilliant food! Definitely try this out 🍝

Great atmosphere and friendly service vegetables of the day a little disappointing and food needed more seasoning.

My first visit in a few years for a Christmas lunch. I now wonder what I have been missing, my main course from the special board of scallops with pancetta in a garlic sauce was the best fish dish I have had in a long time. Side order of vegetables went perfectly. Great service, fantastic overall experience. I will go again soon

We chose this restaurant for a special celebration meal as we planned to be in the area that day. We had booked and our table was ready upon arrival, always a good sign, although being a weekday evening it was not too busy. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome and the service we received throughout was first class. We both chose a 'special' from the daily board, which was nicely cooked, but my favourite was the starter of cheesy garlic bread. Easily enough for two (note to self for next time!) and really tasty. We shall be back - this place is definitely worth a second visit.

Our go to restaurant every time! The food and service is nothing short of amazing. All the waiters are friendly. One has a dry humour that is funny - certainly not rude so I am shocked by the comments about the waiter, I have always found him so nice and kind. I think people might need to find their own sense of humour. It can get very hot in there and they are usually fully booked each time yet nothing is too much trouble. I had my birthday there earlier in the year and he went out of his way to make us laugh. Very unfair comments that are not a fair or correct representation of him at all!! They all work very hard. Every dish is cooked fresh and so full of flavour. We go as often as we can and are looking forward to our meal with them tonight for a date night- perfect restaurant for this! They do add a service charge and rightly so but we always still leave a tip. They are so welcoming to everybody. If you have not been, please ignore the negative reviews and try for yourself. You really won’t regret it.

well what can i say took my wifes nonna to there saturday night. she said fantastic the food was like how shes cooks at home. highly recommend the beef was yummy

I have going to Villa Bianca for many years, the food is always good, however this is expensive restaurant & not Really value for money now they adding 10% service charge to all bills, when questioned why, they stated someone has to the pay the staff! Won't rush back

Very disappointed. Not at all like the reviews. Very basic menu and no atmosphere. It was as if the waiters were bored and would have rather been somewhere else which is why we removed the 10% service charge. I tried the monkfish special . It tasted good but the fish was dry, tough and overcooked ( don’t even think it was monkfish or at least not as I know it) and the squid etc was chewy. My husband said the seafood pasta supposedly in a seafood sauce needed a sauce and the seafood was chewy.

Love love love everything about this restaurant, food is amazing and good price in my opinion. Staff friendly and welcoming, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

How is this place still in business? Its like a modern day faulty towers! Unless you just want a takeaway pizza, I would avoid this place. Terrible service, extreemly rude waiter, food is priced at fine dining but the quality doesn't quite match up. Ive been a couple of times now and cannot fathom where their 5* reviews are coming from.

Above average but not the best in the area. Food good but not exceptional nor outstanding. Found the pizza base too salty, and topping just carelessly thrown on, part bare, other too much. Pasta reasonable. Good to see owner/manager spend time on the floor chatting to dinners - but don't over do it though.

Nice Italian Restaurant, owned by Italian people that provide food at a level that you will meet in Italy. Very good pizza and tiramisù. We have also been able to eat sword fish that is not so common in the UK. This was not the first time we went there and certainly it will not be the last time. Recommended if you want to eat Real Italian.

Had family down visiting and took them here for a birthday meal. Very good service from the staff. Food portion size was more than adequate. All requests were accommodated. Prices for such a large group were quite high.

This is slowly becoming my go-to Italian in the area :) I moved to Frimley not long ago and have since been here a couple of times. The food is lovely, I recommend the spaghetti with clams which was lovely. I've also had the aubergine parmigiana and the calamari as starters which are both good. The only recommendation I would have is to introduce an online booking system (if there isn't one already, I couldn't find one on the website) as I don't like having to call restaurants to book and I'm sure some others feel the same.

I've had several enjoyable meals at Villa Bianca (Italian Restaurant). The menu and food are excellent in a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend booking at weekends as it gets quite busy! They also have a daily 'Specials' board in addition to the standard menu. Deserts are sublime :)

What can I say? This place was recommended and we weren't disappointed. We went for an early dinner, we hadn't booked and there was only one other table occupied. We went for a snack and the menu persuaded us to have 3 courses and we're ready to burst!! We were not disappointed. Very "healthy" portions and we both had a really good time. When we left, just before 8pm (on a Monday evening), the place was full!! We will certainly go back.

I travelled around Italy searching for the world's best lasagne and it turns out it's in Frimley High Street. Villa Bianca never fails to disappoint! The staff are traditional, friendly, family run and the food is amazing! I can't believe the negative reviews as I have eaten here 10+ times and each time has been perfect. The garlic bread is also amazing!!!

I first visited Villa Biancha around 30 years ago. We lived in the area and were regulars. It's been 20 years since we moved away, and quite a while since our last visit. If I had any fears about it not being the restaurant I remember, then they disappeared at the first course. It remains excellent - I'm not sure I've eaten better melanzane parmigiana anywhere. My rabbit casserole was excellent, my partners pasta beautifully done. I could not have asked for more. I just wish it was closer to home.

Met up with friends for a weekday meal. Friendly welcome and prompt drink service. I ordered house white wine... perfect for me and my friends had g&t's and bottled beer. We were taking our time ordering so enjoyed some freshly made garlic bread. Once ordered food came in good time. Starters included baked aubergines in tomato and cheese (best he's tasted), bruschetta and I had calamari. All excellent. Mains were veal escalope with ham, cheese and tomato, carbonara spaghetti, filet of sea bass and my choice of liver with butter & sage (delicious!) Deserts were enjoyed followed by great coffee. A very enjoyable evening that we hope to repeat soon.

Have been here 3 times and unfortunately regret giving it a go for the 3rd time. The menu is very limited and there is nothing special about specials other than its high price. The food and experience are equally underwhelming. The food is of a school canteen quality and is simply tasteless. Pizza probably is the safest bet, but nothing special. Crab Ravioli with prawn sauce were not far from what I would imagine tin ravioli would be. Sauce is too creamy and plain, crab is a complete mush and prawns were actually the tiniest wild brown shrimps size of a pea. Salmon tagilatelle had same creamy tomato sauce as ravioli and salmon nowhere to be found, pureed and disintegrated into the pasta. Desserts were mediocre and didnt have that homemade quality expected of italian fresh desserts. The staff were pleasant, however did not come to check if the food was ok. It gets busy, so people must be finding something on the menu that works for them, however I will not be going back.

We ate at the Villa Bianca and spent £116 for our 2 meals. The evening was nice and the people fairly friendly. However, after having paid our bill plus tips, we were asked to leave our table without explanation. They were happy as long as we were ordering food and drinks but when we stopped purchasing and just enjoying our last drinks, we became useless to their eyes. We will never go back to this place, their attitude was extremely unprofessional.

Had a birthday lunch with my family today which we don’t often get the chance to do. The food was lovely but it’s a shame it was ruined by the waiter who was rude and arrogant. When we was ordering Coffees we asked what coffee do you have and he just said well what do you want. If you don’t know how to act around people then maybe being a waiter is not for you. It wouldn’t hurt to smile when serving paying customers.

Fantastic fresh Italian food. The smells and tastes are just magic, but the waiter is grumpy at best.

We ate here, remembering how good it used to be, unfortunately it is no longer the case. Our waiter was  rude, the food was average  and the price was high.

My extended family has been visiting Villa Bianca and before it closed Villa Romano for many years. It was a favourite of my Dad’s and we visited it just a few weeks before he passed away in 2019. We recently visited the restaurant while in Surrey and I am stunned about how poor the restaurant is now. Waiters were uninterested and so atmosphere didn’t exist, but it was the quality of the food that was the shocker. Calamari was bland although the brushetta were okay. The crab ravioli ‘special’ was awful with a dull and watery tomato sauce. The desserts felt like they were from the freezer. This used to be such a special place and so presume it’s not the same family running it. Very sad evening out.

Has gone down hill since we last went, white wine spritzer had to be returned twice, waiter looked as though he'd rather be somewhere else, spag bog was worse than Zizzi's, tiramisu and cheese cake were tasteless. Will never go back

Such an authentic Italian Restaurant. Delicious Great specials board, so much choice it was hard to choose and especially yummy desert!! Banana Toffee Nut was sooo good!

Walked Into a empty restaurant. They sat us down on the smallest table. Asked to move but apparently they couldn't. Didn't understand why. The carbanara was the worse I have ever had in my life. The pasta was hard. Was soggy cream sauce and the bacon was very under cooked too. Never even asked to see if our food was OK. Will never return and definitely don't recommend unfortunately not a nice atmosphere either.

Food was pretty good . But the staff was rude the tall guy didn't get his name I hope he gets the sack from this you could tell he didn't want to be there he had no motivation for that business or any satisfaction for the customers . I ask for deserts menu and he said there wasn't one and told me to walk to the fridge to have a look he also left me some other sarcastic comments . I have just moved to the area and will not be returning here . Hope the tall guy gets fired he's rude. Food was good need to sort staff out

Nice old-fashioned Italian restaurant with great quality food. As I had pizza just some days before, I chose the basic lazagna. Safe choice perhaps, but you can taste it when done properly - and it was. Service was flawless with some personal touch as well. So, if you're in Frimley, you should give them a visit.

The waiter was really creepy and the dessert broke my tooth. Not a great experience overall.

Great restaurant but not the best Italian we’ve been to. The mains were very good but starters were a little small portion for price. Also the desserts were really poor quality and not what the waiter described it as. This is why this is a 4star review and not 5. The amazing pizza made this a 4 star otherwise I may have even given it a 3. Service was okay. Don’t think we’ll be back. But good luck to owners.

I had never been to an Italian restaurant before so I was a bit apprehensive. I was amazed at the freindliness of the staff and how they helped me choose my meal. Themeal was out if this world, I will definately be going back. Only downside was that it was a little bit expensive but then you pay for what you get and I think I got perfection

I tried this place for the first time last night. My monk fish and accompanied shellfish were fresh and cooked perfectly. Definitely come here if you enjoy great freshly made Italian food. I'm surprised with a minority of comments here that attack the 'Big Waiter'...

Two of the party of three haven't been here for many years. Can confirm it's still a great family run restaurant (since 1989) greeted by the owner, made to feel welcome and shown to our table. Service was wonderful, its still a lively restaurant with a great atmosphere. Our food was perfect. I am sure we will not leave it so long next time.

Friendly staff, efficient service, delicious food & wine and a great atmosphere. What's not to love. We had starters of cheesy garlic bread, garlic prawns, calamari and parma ham. All excellent. Mains pizzas were perfect for the kids. Chicken stuffed with cheese and ham, and veal knuckle was just perfect. One of the best restaurants in the area.

We are the old customer and we go their very frequently, normally once a week. The waitress is very friendly. Their Italian food is very authentic and delicious. If it’s busy time you’d better book a table. The food there is not cheap but is is worth the money. My husband lovers their desserts. Their sea bass is one of my favourite main course. I would like to recommend to others

We managed to get a table for two at the last minute having been let down by another restaurant last night. The place was packed and buzzing, the service was excellent and the food was delicous. We sat next to three lovely women who we later joined and had a brilliant evening
