Had a few pints with my pal yesterday in the Victoria Bar. Beer 🍺 was nice and chilled, good TV’s spread around the pub. Locals were sound and bar staff were polite and friendly.

I got the recipe from a Spanish website for tapas. The phrase Pil Pil is from the Basque area of Spain and is synonymous with dishes cooked this way (oil, garlic and chilli) it is also onomatopoeia Pil Pil sounds like the sizzling that takes place when the garlic and Prawns are cooked away in the hot oil.

Love this chippy ever since I was a wee boy. The gravy is amazing. Although the portion size is a bit smaller than usual hah

Decent food at a reasonable price. I can recommend the Cheese and Onion Pie, and as for the Chocolate Brownies, delicious! Attached to the Premier Inn next door.
