Great service and simply amazing food!

Absolutely amazing place to have a nice meal. Although they are super busy in the evenings, the service is excellent, all staff are very kind and attentive, especially Allan and Tyston who make this place 5 stars. After a nice meal, you can enjoy some good music on Fridays and Saturdays where they have a live DJ.

We went on the 16th March to celebrate my sister in law’s 70th Birthday with 30 of us in the party. What can I save as you entered the restaurant the staff were very welcoming the atmosphere and decor was amazing. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that Appel to both youngsters and adults alike. The food was excellent and fresh. The service from the staff was way beyond expectation and in particular one member of staff Allan was excellent. I would definitely recommend Venue 5 for any event. Thanks you very much for a memorable evening. We will be back .

The food and service was fantastic as usual. I requested Toyston to recommend meat dishes for an Argentinian friend of mine, he recommended great dishes and customised one so my friend can enjoy all flavours. Thank you to Toyston who looked after us, greatly appreciated. The veg dishes were delicious.

I recently dined at Venue 5 and our server, Ms Khrishi, made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, Ms Khrishi was incredibly welcoming, offering detailed recommendations tailored to our tastes. Ms Khrishi's knowledge of the menu and wine pairings was impressive. Despite the busy evening, Ms Khrishi checked in on us the perfect amount, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were met. The high level of service we received from Ms Khrishi added a special touch to our dinner. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Venue 5. Their professionalism and warmth truly set them apart.

Brilliant place to come for both friends or families, plenty of free parking which helps. Staff are super friendly and very helpful for requirements. Special thanks to Simona who was serving our table and was very kind and helpful.

Great time as usual The two people that looked after us were great, one called Nick I think and a girl we were a booking of 15 tonight and we were sat in the corner, the food was great too!

We went to Venue 5 for a low key family celebration. W sat in the smaller of the two areas as the large area was very busy and a bit noisy. The food was a Asian fusion (Indian and Chinese). We had a simple poppadum starter then went for a variety of dishes. The food arrived in good time, and was piping hot. Lamb Rogan josh and bhuna lamb were very Indian, while the chilli chicken had a distinctly oriental twist. The surprise was the Biryani - it arrived in traditional form with the rice sealed under a naan bread. This was an excellent dish and I would consider having this as my meal when we next visit. The staff were polite and efficient, but did not crowd you. A very enjoyable meal.

Best place to have your kid's bday party. Venue 5 is such a nice team. They had all vendors like Decorators/Kids Magic shows people well connected. Special Thanks to Allan and Geoffery. Allan has been great help on the day. Every member of staff is always smiling :) and very helpful. I will recommend Venue 5 any day :).

My friends and I go to Venue 5 for DJ Vogue specifically on those nights when he’s playing! He’s the best DJ at Venue 5. When the music is good, everything is good. Food was good and so was the ambience. I just didn’t find it value for money. Very very expensive. At that price, I could’ve gone somewhere much much better. Will not return. May I add the lady who served us was really good. She was managing our big table alone while the others just stood there doing nothing.

DO NOT go to this restaurant!! This area has a high crime rate and I had my car broken into. Staff told me that "this is quite common around here" and they have not done anything to ensure visitor safety. I spoke to the staff after having the break in and received no support just told to speak to manager "Jim" who barely turned up to work after I called up the place multiple times to request footage from outside the venue. Once I eventually got hold of Jim, he told me that "security company they deal with has updated and replaced hard drives for footage due to update", a few days after my car was broken into. I was told by staff members working that Jim has access to the passcode for CCTV footage so how has a security company suddenly updated and replaced hard drives? I had desperately begged for the footage on the night of the break in followed by every day after the incident for a week with no support. Funny thing is that I was parked right outside the main door... I am not even joking when I say I could open my door and step inside.... I was reassured constantly my waiter staff that "we have footage all around and we can give it, since this has happened before".... I lost so many items worth so much and there wasn't even an attempt for recovery on staff's part. Ive since spoken to Jim and have had to explain how CCTV systems work which just explains how little staff know about their own venue. I didnt even get to eat and had to pack up food from the area and had no contact from this place of any kind. Not worth going to a restaurant so far out if safety is not a priority!!

Everything is ok but noticed prices have increased that is probably due to high supplier costs. Otherwise not too bad apart from the odd veg dishes. Nothing in comparison with some of the other places we go to. But staff are friendly here

Been here recently with the family.. Nice place to dine with the family (not sure about a typical weekend). We had dinner on a weekday , so it was very quiet, nice and had enough parking space. Items are very yummy but price is comparatively high. However the excellent service made us forget the price.. very friendly and professional staff.. Would recommend to anyone who can overlook the price for good drive ..

Had my 50,th birthday here, near again. The service on the night was so bad.my guests was left with no waiter and all the waiters was too busy serving other tables. The venue near informed me they had set a Bollywood theme for the night. Which I don't mind but the DJ was so rubbish he had no idea which songs to play. We also got over charged so be careful on the night. I will never recommend this place for your special day.

My family and friends joined me at Venue 5 to celebrate my birthday. We had an amazing time food par excellence as always the young lady assigned to look after us Khrishi was attentive throughout . She was always in sight and kept check on everything. She went over and above to assist me in looking after my guests. Nothing was missing . Also gave very good advice . Everyone appreciated her . She is a diamond. The barman was spot on with music for us gave the room a real party atmosphere 👏🏾

A bad experience from start to finish! Food: we ordered achari paneer tikka as a starter. We were served just 5 pieces of paneer. There was no onion, tomato or capsicum. The paneer was not even cooked properly as the marinade was still bit raw in places. We then ordered indo-Chinese for the mains. When ordering I specifically requested the Hakka noodles to be made without spice as we had 2 small children with us. When the hakka noodles arrived the kids were unable to eat them due to it being so spicy. By the time the noodles were redone, the adults had almost finished the main course and the kids were so tired and upset! We ordered rasmalai for dessert and were disappointed again. The rasmalai was very watery and tasted as if it had been defrosted and not fresh. Service: the staff did not seem knowledgeable about the menu. Every time we requested something, like a fork/spoon or tissue, we had to ask repeatedly before the request being fulfilled. Atmosphere: when we arrived at the restaurant the seating areas were very cold. We had to request to be seated further inside to avoid the draft. The ladies toilet was absolutely freezing cold without any hot water in the taps. The outside temperature the day we visited was 0 degrees! We had gone to celebrate our 12th anniversary and unfortunately this experience really ruined our celebration. We will definitely not be returning here again.

We were served by Simona who got everything right, thanks. Food was great. Expect some spiciness. We looked the starters best, particularly Chicken 65, Mogo, Chilli Paneer. 1 rice portion easily feeds 2. We ordered about 7 starters and 9-10 mains, a round of drinks, and cost was £30pp inc tip.

Went for a Christmas party with their set menu. Was a good night with a belly dancer and a great DJ. Good party atmosphere.

I recently visited Venue 5 after a gap of quite a few years. We hadn't booked a table but wanted a change from the normal venues we go to and hubby had been with friends recently and said it was worth another visit. When we arrived, having had no prior booking, we waited just a few minutes to be seated. Our server was just lovely and kept us informed that there was a slight delay with our food order but we felt it was not long considering that every table for dinner was full with customers so we were lucky to get seated so quickly (in an area which later became part of the dance floor). The food was very enjoyable and I ordered a couple of cocktails, which were delicious. Whilst we were eating there was a fabulous belly dancer who came around dancing in between the tables and getting some of the customers up to dance. I didn't want to dance personally but she was happy to pose for some photos with me and came across as a really sweet person. We bumped into some friend who were there for a birthday so ended up staying until after 1am. The restaurant, bar and door staff were all really polite and friendly and bar staff were efficient and attentive so never had to wait long to be served. Lastly the music - I was so happy with the music at Venue 5 as it catered for all tastes and the dance floor was busy from around 10.30 till the time we left (and it was still open). The DJ was playing all the right tunes to keep the crowd happy, normally I would think to ask for a few requests but didn't need to as I loved every track that he played! My only niggle about Venue 5 was that the toilets were absolutely freezing with no warm or hot water coming out of the taps and the hand driers were very cold too (this was the first week of December and it was literally freezing outside) but I couldn't understand why the toilets (which were well stocked) were so cold as they were not external toilets! Aside from the last para, we had a fabulous evening and plan to go to Venue 5 on many more occasions in the new year!

Good food, broccoli and tofu salt and pepper are a standout. Soya also good if slightly salty. Food colouring really not necessary, please avoid, doesn't add to looks or taste. On the expensive side. Dance floor is a bonus, but music is rather unimaginative and more variety would be good.

I went there for the X-mas party organised by my employer on 1st Dec 23. There are a few staff who are vegetarian. The starter was served on our tables. Two of my colleagues and I were at the same table. We are strictly vegetarian. We asked the waitress THREE TIMES about a dish which was like meatballs in appearance and the other dish was mogo chips. We categorically asked her, if the other dish was vegetarian and she confidently confirmed that it was a vegetarian dish. After taking a bite we looked at each other with eyes wide open and perhaps were asking each other if the dish was vegetarian. My colleague went off the table and asked another waiter and he stated that it was LAMB MEATBALLs. No need to go into any more details and one can easily understand what went through our heads. It is like serving pork to a Muslim or adding garlic and onion to a dish and serving to a Jain. The waitress did not have the courtesy to come and apologise. When the manager was called she apologised. The damage was done. How on earth all the waiters and waitresses are not on the same page when out serving? Imagine if you are allergic to some ingredient and have an anaphylaxis shock or die, as we have witnessed these and cases have landed in the High Court and Supreme Court. These people do not understand the religious sanctity or the seriousness of the situation. It would have been better, if the first waitress could have said, " I am sorry, let me go and check". It is better to be 100% sure before opening your mouth. If I was the manager or owner, I would have fired that waitress and set an example for others. We have to be baptised again. I am sure not going to this place again in future. Will this post change anything from the management perspective, NOT REALLY. As they say, Black will take no other hue. Sadly disappointing, poppadoms came with the 2 smallest mango and mint dips I’ve ever seen , no onions or salad, lamb samosas were small overcooked grisly and tasteless, butterfly prawns, expensive bland and no dip or anything to spice them up. The piece of chicken tikka that I tried was nice. Maybe worth trying the restaurant rather than the takeout

Good Indian restaurant. We went there on a Friday night and it seems to turn into a club later in the night and the music is loud and.there seems to be a dance floor at the front of the restaurant, so don't expect a romantic atmosphere. For starters we had bhel puri and shish kebabs. For me the bhel puri was not crisp enough, which normally happens if it's been sitting waiting to be served. Shish kebabs were ok. Mains were Biryani and chicken makhani type dish with paratha's. Biryani was good and the chicken makhani ok again. So in summary good place for a night out. Food ok and not sure if the music is on loud every Friday but watch out.

We went for dinner, there a girl there Tamanna, she is very good at her job, great customer service, friendly, even helped me decide the best food for them to eat. Thank you, Tamanna👍

Attending a Diwali party here, not a great spot for celebrations – they've run out of food

Worst food ever in one of the diwali dinner and dance event. Starter was really tasteless and not enough starter for everyone. 2 lt bottle of coke £12 and when we asked staff they were to explain why they charging that much.

Had a university friends reunion dinner here, very good starters but average main courses. However my friends who are not veggies preferred their main courses as opposed to the starters. Service by Simona our hostess was excellent, extremely fast and efficient.

Lovely restaurant and the food was just as good. The waiter Allan was superb and provided an excellent service to match the food.

Had a 75th birthday lunch with the family. Went for the Set Menu which was excellent value and the food was very delicious. The drinks were rather pricey but the occasion overlooked this aspect. The service given by Simona was most satisfactory. Presley & Tyson also were very helpful in organising. Overall 9 out of 10.

It was amazing for me as this was my school prom. Zero complaints about the place from anyone.

Cold food and meat that was mostly chewy fat and impossible to eat. Not sure what happened today, we came to celebrate my wife's birthday, we ended up sending back 2 of the 4 dishes. The other two items we ended up packing and bringing back home before putting in the bin. Only so much food you can send back, before it gets embarrassing. The staff seemed friendly and kept apologising, but the chef kept comming out to look at us and see who was sending the food back.

Had my son's birthday party at Venue 5 recently. It was an amazing, stress free and positive experience. From the initial conversation with the manager Mr Vishal to the very end of the party all was absolutely perfect. The food, set up and arrangements, adjustments to our requests, in-house DJ Dee, the staff and service during the party was truly great. We are truly appreciative of the friendly and quality service we received in our experience with Venue 5. Cheers!

Manager seems useless! Waiters are great. Takeaway took ages to prepare, the quality of the food has gone downhill quite a lot since they were sold a few years ago…..portion sizes are tiny for takeaway compared to other restaurants where the prices are more reasonable and better quality.

This was my first time being here and I absolutely loved it. But it can be very loud because some people just don't know how to talk with lower tone 🤷 but even with this the ambient was good. Waiters were attentive and helpful and the food was delicious

We went for a dinner with friends, we ordered salt pepper corn, chilli paneer, masala Mogo, veg samosa’s which were all edible but nothing that was outstanding, but all edible and we all ate. For mains we ordered butter chicken, shahi paneer, dal makhani and naan and nothing was really outsindong, they added juts lots of chilli powder on the dal makhani but forgot to add any butter or cream! The paneer was again the same nothing shahi about it. They did offer to make it again but we didn’t want to wait around for them to make it all again. Be aware when ordering a jug of coke or drink! It’s £12 for 3 large glasses of coke whereas the the jug is £12 and only offer you 1.5 glasses of coke! So felt a bit ripped off there! But we didn’t say anything to them about it but def not worth getting the jug! Lesson learnt not sure if rush back to eat there again as nothing really stood out

Hi, It’s was not a pleasant experience and we have been regularly going to Venue 5 up until last couple of years and we have stopped going there as we were not satisfied with the service and food was not tastier like before. We thought we would give it a go and been to venue 5 in the last week. We were disappointed. We neither enjoyed the food nor the service. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone as bad experience last couple of times.

I'm an avid fan of V5 and have been enjoying the authentic flavours and distinct taste of some favourite dishes over the past 13 years or so with family and friends. Even at its worst, V5 is not disappointing. However, last week, my lunch takeaway included probably the WORST dal makhani I've ever smelt or tasted. The dal was 'khatta' sour slight lacy, the lentils had a hard chew almost undercooked. WHAT WENT WRONG!? It's hugely disappointing. I am only posting the review as the phone wasn't answered. Would have preferred to complain directly.

Had a little family get together here. It was a good atmosphere and the food was great.

Place worth to give a try. Friendly staff and lovely food. They have big car park. Sittings can be arranged for large sized group or even sittings are available for as small as two people.

Lovely place… poor/average food & service Dj had a great selection of tracks and manage to get customers on dance floor, however each tract only lasted few minutes kept on tracks which was annoying. Food took ages and once arrived was cold/warm felt like it was sitting in kitchen for some time Waitress was on point, but drinks took ages to come All in all poor service which I must point out not waitress fault

Unique and bizarre experience, we went on a Saturday night .... It turned into a bar while we were still eating, could feel the bass underneath us as we were eating out into our mains. Food overall was good, pretty good music, staff were friendly and helpful, overall nice place to go to.

Really really disappointed. We ordered a take away on Sunday for Father’s Day. And my dad. My father in law. And my 3 year old daughter ended up with food poisoning!!!!!! Me and my mum didn’t have any of the food. And we are totally fine. And so is my 10 month old baby. So we knew it was the food !!!!!! As only those who ate it ended up being sick!!!! It’s been absolutely awful. A traumatic few days with my toddler being so unwell - we nearly had to take her to the hospital!!!!!!! Unbelievably disappointed. And upset. It totally ruined our weekend. And the first half of the week. Waiting for the owner / manager to respond.

Almost broke my tooth on some hard bit like a small stone in my food .I have informed the staff they have replace the food but no apology nothing.,I asked what was it ,they were not sure. Very poor service. Will never go back there again. Shame on you Venue 5 .
