Proper Italian ice cream branch in London.

After several attempts at taking a photo of their Affogato, we gave up. We come here all the time especially after watching a film at Odeon Richmond and the affogato Is a favourite. Too bad it looks so damn good every single time we just dig in and forget to take a picture before we finish it. Service is excellent and every staff member is courteous and friendly.

A beautiful place where an Indian man works. His reception was very excellent. I ate the ice cream and it tasted very delicious. I recommend visiting it.

We visited venchi Richmond last Saturday for creeps because common no other place makes the creeps as good as this place does. Not only the food but the services was absolutely fantastic we were served by a very friendly and talented gentleman named vail he was amazing at his. Highly recommend it

Fine chocolates, expensive. Excellent service. Top quality ice creams. Seats inside, customer toilets. Only bad thing - when selling marrons glaces by weight - then weigh the ones you are selling me, not the remaining ones I am not buying. Unethical and illegal. And in response to another review, shops in England are not legally obliged to accept Scottish money.

Today I visited richmond venchi abd a despicable comment was made to us from the manager, it was below the belt and we are disgusted that a person like this was made the manager of a establishment like venchi, we are absolutely furious and would like an official apology.

I heard about this place and tried thrice their gelato and chocolate finally i am not going to try this again. Chocolate is not that smooth even Lindt chocolate taste aloot smooth and better. Gelato flavour was very mild not able to taste much of flavour. I am not going to try again. Amorino makes much more better gelato. Customer service was nice and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely stunning ice creams and cones. Yes for sure not cheap but they are truly amazing. My wife had the large with four ice creams and I had the medium with three. We got the special cones coated in chocolate and pistachio bits too. What could we say but truly stunning. Maybe the best we've ever had. Service was great too. Very helpful

I'm giving this review 5 stars because the ice cream and hot chocolate is divine. So rich and indulgent! We have been to the Richmond branch many times and the two times we were served by Liza, I have to admit it made such a difference. She is so wonderful and kind and makes the BEST hot chocolate - so much so that I took friends to try it, but she wasn't there and the experience just wasn't the same. Yes the ice cream was still as delicious, but it makes the whole experience even more special when the staff are lovely!

We have been coming here over the past 18 months and have noticed that the portion sizes of ice cream have been getting smaller and smaller. My wife ordered a large cone 4 scoops and the ice cream was below the level of the cone. Tea spoon size scoops for £8 plus. We won’t be going back.

Venchi Café Richmond upon Thames is a nice place to get vegan ice cream. I had a cup of vegan hazelnut ice cream. I'd definitely visit Venchi again. However, I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Long queues are expected at Venchi Richmond, we are loyal customers and are accustomed to this. Service used to be good but recently it has gone downhill. They are getting very greedy with portion sizes. When I ask for a large I get the same amount of icecream as someone whos ordered a medium. What is the point of this? Today was the breaking point. We were absolutely apalled at the customer service. This store closes at 10pm, we arrived at 9.40pm and queued for 15 minutes (it's always busy). At 9.55pm, when we're directly outside the store about to enter, we were cut off by a lady who was working there, telling us we wouldn't be served. She let the people in front of us go in, but not us or the people behind us. She claimed the staff were not going to finish in time if she let us in, but the people in front were fine. We drove 30 minutes to get there, then waited a further 15 minutes. This is extremely unprofessional. She did not apologize, and was very blunt. How can you treat your customers like this? We understand staff want to finish on time, but you should have at the minimum told us immediately and not let us waste a further 15minutes queueing up. Secondly, be nice about it, being so rude and dismissive was absolutely disgraceful, you showed zero empathy when we clearly told you we made a 30mins journey to get here. Everything comes down to customer service. Though the icecream is delicious, maybe even the best. This particular incident has let us forever down, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

You can never go wrong with a Venchi gelato! It’s an instant cure to any bad day one might have. And if the weather permits you can go on a walk to Richmond bridge and along the river nearby. My favourite flavour is Cremino. You should try it too!

Lovely luxury chocolate shop located in the heart of Richmond. Has wide variety of chocolate to suit any dietary requirements or special someone in you’re life.Staff are very friendly and informative. I recommend shopping here for buying chocolate for that special occasion.

Best Ice cream in town have been here many many times and for good reason. I have never experienced anything that comes remotely as close. Staff are all lovely as well go for the extra care with our choice well worth it. Must try flavours are the Mascarpone & caramelised fig, Mango sorbet and Cremino.

85% dark chocolate ice cream accompanied with Mascarpone with Figs, pure delight from this stylish Italian Gelato you can’t just walk by without stepping in following the pure force of visual temptation. Sometimes you just need to give in and let go…😍

Lovely cafe with high quality ice cream, crepe, coffee, milkshakes and chocolates. We are coming every week in this very busy cafe. My son loves all types of ice cream and I’m big fan of crepes. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Roberta, great customer service and professionalism.
