Really disappointed. We arrived bang on opening as we wanted to get a good table for a few drinks and some food before heading to the stadium for Wales v Scotland. Found a table right by the window overlooking the stadium and we were made up. Happy with the menu although a limited choice, all were available as vegan which was amazing. Ordered food which arrived relatively quickly, it was ok, not as great as it sounded however no cause for complaint. Plates were cleared and just as we were discussing what to order to drink next the Irish server asked us to vacate our table now we had finished eating as someone wanted to sit there.. What?? We were rather shocked so agreed as they advised us there would be plenty of space elsewhere In The Venue. The men wanting the table then stood literally feet away from us staring at us until we moved, I was so uncomfortable. We then heading downstairs and it was rammed and couldn’t even get to a bar to get a drink. Clearly don’t care about good service and just want to get people in and out as quick as possible. We specifically picked an unreserved table too so to avoid having to leave before we were ready. Most definitely would not return after this.

Great place to while away a couple of hours of a sunday pm , good range of craft ales on draft + can options. Clwb trophy and easy livin ipas go down well!

Want to have the worst night of your life, go to Tiny Rebel, staff and bouncer were disrespectful, rude, and have massive egos, they chase after you to make sure you don’t get anywhere else and need a reality check. Fix it cause it’s embarrassing

Getting a formidable reputation for their quality beers, this popular bar certainly hits the spot. Staff happy to talk about their beers and as well as the usual fare e.g. tropical IPAs, they also had a big hitter flavoursome stout at 14% !! Delicious.

my boyfriend’s family and I came here for a pre-booked meal and drinks. we were quite a big group of 12 and it was around 4:30pm on a super busy saturday night before going out to the christmas market, but everything was so, so good! all of the food was super yummy and the atmosphere was still cozy despite it being so busy. i’m gluten free and often struggle to find food that i’m able to have, but they were able to sort things out so that i was able to have one of the best meals i’ve ever had out before!! seriously- it was so good, and very reasonably priced!! thank you so much for being so friendly and accommodating :) (they also allow dogs which is such a plus because there were so many cute little pups in christmassy outfits!!)

This place suits an old geezer like me or a trans woman and her girlfriend. Large venue with space for a music gig or a quiet spot to read. Terrific range of craft beers. From November 2023 I will start reviewing every pub and restaurant in my hometown of Cardiff from a wheelchair users perspective and this second pub/ restaurant "Tiny Rebel" had it's ups and downs. Flat entrance in, then a quite narrow ramp down on the left of the entrance which was ok. The whole pub (which is a very old building) and bar area felt cramped but managed to get about ok sometimes asking people "excuse me" so I could wheel past 😊 Amazing variety of beers which is what this pub is mostly known for I think. Prices here are above average and hovered around £6.50 / £7.50 a pint. Seating area in the back room was more spacious than the rest of the pub :) I always want to review the disabled toilet facilities everywhere I visit but unfortunately it was locked. I was told a staff member was in there 😖 and after over 5 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. Overall though, not bad :) 3/5 from Steviewheels (mainly for the amazing beers though) ♿😊

Who knew Tiny Rebel did a Sunday lunch! We love this brewery so couldn’t believe when we found out they did a roast. We visited after doing the Cardiff half so it was pretty busy and we were told it would be about a half hour/45 min wait for food.. which is was but you don’t mind so much when pre warned! The roast was good - as good as expected for a brewery! We all had beef which would have been nicer if a bit pinker, but other than that the food was great. Good portion size, the Kentucky fried parsnips were amazing and the gravy so good! Really lovely staff too!

My Ukrainian friend and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Tiny Rebel Cardiff. We were unjustly pushed out of the premises by a rude bouncer after raising a valid concern about the manager's behavior. The manager accused my friend of falling asleep, which was untrue, and rather than addressing our complaint professionally, they chose to escalate the situation. The way we were treated was completely unacceptable, and we won't be returning. Avoid this place if you value respectful and fair customer service.

Having never been to Tiny Rebel before I prebooked for a meal for the family, on arrival the place was empty but after downloaded the app and seeing there was no food available apart from a burger I understood why!, horrible urinal smell in the building (like the stairwell of an old car park), we walked out and ate elsewhere!

Fantastic Covid measures in place, track & trace, enforcing masks, social distancing and hand sanitiser on every table. Table service was fast for drinks. They were very accommodating of our dog and even offered water and a treat given within minutes of being seated. They were super busy with food so there was a wait however this didn't go unrecognised and staff were very apologetic, and enabled me to have an additional food item at the same time. Every staff member was polite, super helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be back for a Sunday lunch ☺️

Very nice greeting and organised and clear one way system. We had a couple pints of our favourite Clwb Tropica. I’ve never had food there, but some people next to us did and it looked good!

First time coming back here since social distancing regulations and I thought they did a good job of keeping the feel of how it was without risking safety.

Probably the best C-19 precautions we have experienced from the briefing at the entrance to ordering & paying. Beer interesting & good while veggie nachos spot on. Oh, dog friendly too. Highly recommended

I think tiny rebel is a good brewery. With a very relaxed vibe in their place in Cardiff a visit is recommended. I like the way they let us try before we buy. and the beer are well tasty

Asked for bear fries with a burger and got a burger with regular fries and bear fries so it was impossible to finish. We decided to give this place a try on our overnight stay in Cardiff based on past good experiences with Tiny Rebel beers, so it seemed a good idea to visit their own pub. Unfortunately the place didn't quite live up to expectations. The beers and service were OK, but the real let-down was actually the place itself. I'm happy with a bit of 'grunge', but the pub could do with a thorough clean up before I'd be happy to return.

Waiter had a nice knowledge about beers. They have a decent selection. Mostly Tiny Rebel on tabs of course. Nice atmosphere. Old building.

Come here often when in cardiff, have visited the Newport branch too, we sat in the bar, which was very cold. Husband always try’s a different beer we’re here, in which he enjoyed. He ordered the beef burger I ordered the chicken burger, very long wait on food, which I could understand if the place was full but there were only 4 tables. When the food came the buns were burnt, if the wait wasn’t so long I would have took it back but we needed to be elsewhere. Chips and chicken was nice. Staff seem friendly but nobody came to check our food was ok

Si solo estuviera marcando la cerveza, esta sería una crítica de 5 estrellas. Tuve el ruibarbo y crema agria y fue excelente. Pero cometí el error de pedir lo que resultó ser una hamburguesa de pollo quemada y básicamente no comestible para acompañarla. La porción era considerable, pero la hamburguesa estaba muy quemada y realmente desagradable y no debería haberse servido. Fue una pena ya que la cerveza era excelente.

My wife and I visited for lunch today and had two of the Christmas burgers and a couple of pints. The food was great and loved the beer. We’ll definitely be back!!

Went after purchasing a burger and meal promotion online, not expecting anything grand but it was actually incredible. The beer selection is mind blowing and the staff is really cool

An excellent place to go try out some craft ales; they offer paddles/flights so you can try a good selection. Staff are friendly and know their beers so do ask if you are unsure of what you might like - they will give you a free taster to help make the right decision. Gets very busy in the evening but does have good quieter area upstairs where you can relax to enjoy your beer.

We were in Cardiff for the speedway Grand Prix ( as we are every year) but rather than knocking around different pubs we secured a room at Tiny Rebel. What a great plan! Obviously fantastic selection of quirky beers but also super good and a nice place to relax and enjoy before the racing

Semi-decent beers, shame the staff seem to be getting less and less friendly. Had to wait to be served while staff finish their conversation with friends, despite having been waiting longer. I remember when Tiny Rebel stood for quality.

Lovely old building on the outside with many nooks, crannies and rooms inside. I thought there wasn't much seating but when I went to the toilet I discovered there was a lot more to this pub than I first thought. Very busy at 6.30 on a Wednesday when I visited but it was easy to get a table. I had 3 pints of different Tiny Rebel beers during my visit. All were excellent. I also ordered some bear fries which is a deconstructed burger and chips without the bun. A great idea and tasted fantastic.

Excellent range of real ales, in a great old building. It was formerly the Glamorgan County Council Club. Lots of rooms,available for hire. Freindly and knowledgeable staff.

Over the years I’ve got used to having one or no vegan options on the menu, not here. Two burgers, pizzas, vegan wings and dirty fries plus more on the menu. We had the tofu burger and seitan burger with a side order of deep fried pickles. the food was divine and the portions were massive.

This place is right across from the stadium. Great place for a beer before the game or anytime for that matter. Lots of their own beers plus guest taps as well. They have a decent selection of things to eat also. Craft beer and food. Good combo!

This is an excellent bar if you like your beer and a grungy vibe - excellent welcome and excellent beer. Cwtch has made it all the way east (if you like it on keg - come here and try a pint on cask as its even better). There is an amazing selection of different beer styles and there is sure to be something to take your fancy. You will call in for a pint and stagger out after way more than that!
