We came in recently ( as bikers) . We had only just got in the door and felt very rushed into ordering ( wasn't busy) No hello from staff or guy serving us... just asked us what we wanted. Gutted as that was going to be out coffee and cake place each time we rode!

Called in on a cold Saturday morning, seeking warmth and refreshment. Found both. Very crowded because very popular, and I could see why. Not into biking or the motorcycle scene, but I was made welcome and given excellent service. Oh, and the hot chocolate and cake were both excellent too.

Just popped in for a snack and a drink on the way home after walking the dog. Great venue worth a visit.

We only used the cafe but it’s great for a ride out and have a coffee in unusual and interesting surroundings.

Love it here they do the best food and a amazing coffee really love coming here and I really do love there motor cycles and accessories and the staff is amazing

Wow, wow, wow!! What an absolutely fantastic experience we had with you. You answered all my questions so promptly, after I had made the booking and to say we were impressed upon arrival is an understatement. On a very wet afternoon we made our way to the cafe/coolest motorcycle shop ever and we were warmly greeted by all members of the team. We were shown our rooms (wow, just wow), there’s a funky inside outside bit which shows some of the building’s original architectural features (another plus in my mind)! As for the rooms which were superbly appointed, very clean and comfortable and had many cool features, well they knocked our socks off. We were given a tour of the amenities (a kitchen/dining and sitting room with every detail well thought out: comfy sofas, tv, unlimited tea and coffee - just perfect!) It really was a home away from home experience. The breakfast next morning was continental in style and simply yummy. We have already recommended this gorgeous place to friends and hope we have more reasons to come and stay here again.

Only a coffee and snack visit. Service although a little slow due to how many customers were there, wasn't a problem the lady went around offering Free crisps was a very kind and unnecessary gesture. The cafe is a little gem after the great roads to get there, we arrived from Tiverton. Highly recommended place and well worth any wait, thank you.

This is a great place. We have visited twice when holidaying in Cornwall; chilled atmosphere, friendly staff, great owner! Good selection of motorcycle clothing (we always purchase!) and the BEST coffees we’ve had in Devon/Cornwall. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in Crediton…..even if you’re not a biker!

I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay at Moto Velo rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and I got 2 nights excellent sleep. The break was really good and the staff serving the breakfast were really friendly. I would happily recommend Moto Velo rooms and hopefully will be able to make a return visit if my daughter gets into Exeter university

This place is self check in so there was no one there to ask about the parking. The yard had a different name to the one we were given, but luckily a gentleman passing by was able to help us. The room at first glance, looked ok, if a little on the small side. Only 4 hangers on a rail, inadequate for the clothing we had taken, so it’s a good job we didn’t have bike gear too. Nice big comfy bed, and good pillows, however the bedding had black marks on it. The tv was good with Netflix and You Tube, however the WiFi only worked properly in the main shop. The room itself felt quite damp and we weren’t able to have the window open at night as it’s on a very busy main road. Earplugs are provided but I can’t wear them. A bottle of water and proper glasses are provided and the hairdryer is good, and the mirror next to a power point! There are also power points next to the bed. The walls are very thin and the next rooms floorboards very creaky as we could hear the occupant walking about at all hours. Nice fluffy towels, however when I left them on the floor for changing (as the sign instructed) they were simply hung back up again. I left the notice on top of the towels the next day and we were given fresh ones. The bathroom was small, the shower was in need of a good scrub around the bottom seals and the grouting needed sorting. However the shower was good. Breakfast was disappointing with only a few things to choose from however the coffee is superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our main issue was one of cleanliness within the room, this was discussed at the time and since our return home, and we have been assured that appropriate measures have been put in place. However this did spoil our trip and we will not return.

Great cafe, amazing oat latte and cinnamon bun. Lovely quirky place with lots of atmosphere. Great service and lots of seating options. Dog friendly too!

As a biker who drinks more coffee than his GP would approve of this place is fabulous. Excellent coffee, great staff, breakfast in amongst bikes and bike clothing, clean modern rooms, communal lounge and kitchen area, with clothes drying options. Owners kindly found a place to secure my bike overnight. It's not just for bikers and the coffee shop filled with customers not wearing CE approved protection. Bike night is Thursday night until 9pm. Great location for visiting the area, but is on a main rod to Exeter...so be aware that light sleepers may wish to use the complimentary ear plugs (I didn't need them...slept like a baby). Highly recommended. Will be planning to go back next year with friends.

Excellent coffee, great vibe some nice motorcycles to look over, just the thing to cheer you up on a cloudy day. Also great roads to get you there.

Best coffee in Devon. Good supply of bikers clothing A range of unusual bikes. Very knowledge owner willing to help advise on Harley-Davidson .You are able to stay for bed and breakfast. Very clean.. Only trouble is you get dog owners brining their animals in the small shop in the hope of attention. And staff thinking its the right thing to do to fondle the dogs. And then go behind the counter and handle the carrot cake. No thanks

verrassend leuke plek: het is een motorspecialist met werkplaats en een winkel die boven de zaak 5 kamers verhuurt; kamers zijn ruim, netjes en vlot ingericht, helaas geen airco en wel wat verkeerslawaai; er is geen restaurant of keuken maar op korte afstand diverse eetgelegenheden; ontbijt is dus gewoon continental en je zit gewoon tussen de motoren; overdag is er een barretje open met prima cappuccino en een lekker terras langs de weg; veel leuke dingen te zien in de zaak; aanrader!

My favourite café in Mid Devon, grab any excuse to call in as part of work on a Friday afternoon as well as a frequent visitor on motorcycle rides to just call in and hang out with friends and always meet someone new to chat to as well. The bike clothing and accessories are great, having the bikes in the shop next to you while enjoying your drink gives a really cool ambience. Great service and always a warm welcome from the staff. It's the sort of venue that would fit in London or LA but this is in South West England! Cakes locally made, locally roast coffee is excellent and I'm both fussy about my coffee and now have to have oat milk which at Moto Velo tastes as good as a regular milk latte. Unlike a few other places a trend I've seen creeping in as well they don't charge extra for non dairy milk. Can't recommend them highly enough, I'd love a place of my own like this would be a dream business for me.

Amazing motor bike café. Unique and a wonderful attraction whilst enjoying great coffee and light snacks. Not to be missed if you're visiting Crediton. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Very nice coffee served by people who know how to use the coffee machine. I help manage three coffee shops and a coffee roastery in Cornwall, so I’m difficult to please. No problems today, I’ll be back!

My cousin and I were in Crediton this weekend to trace our family tree ( with great success) . Stopped two nights at URMV. The place was spotless, rooms were relaxing and cosy. The kitchen and snug room is a brilliant feature. We went and got takeaways and ate them in the snug. The staff in the cafe were very friendly . Would definatley stay there again and recommend to everyone. 10 out of 10

Visited with the family, and what a great find. Located opposite the church on the main road find yourself somewhere to park and then enjoy. Great coffee, freshly made cakes and comfortable surroundings Would totally recommend

Very comfortable beds. Lovely linen, no polycotton to itch and scratch, great clean hot shower. Telly looked the part but we didn't use it. Easy smooth check in and out.

Arrived after a long day. The reception we received was both genuine and warm. The accommodation is very unique and tasteful. The one stand out feature that makes this a fantastic place to stay is the people who run this establishment. This should not be underestimated or go unnoticed. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

Lovely cafe/shop selling nice cakes, biscuits and sausage rolls, and hot drinks, with a small selection of cold drinks too. Nice clean place to stop for refreshments and browse the motorbikes amd accessories. Young blonde girl behind the counter lacked personality and customer service skills though. Didnt feel a welcoming vibe from the place.

This is such a fabulous place. Gorgeous comfortable rooms, with an unexpected communal area. Strong, classic biker shop and cafe too. Quality continental breakfast and excellent coffee. Brilliant vibe.

I visited this shop today and it was a magical visit. It’s atmosphere is amazing. The owner is HD enthusiast and he spent most of his life riding the motorcycle. It’s not just the shop but a place with the spirit of an open road, love for motorcycles, where adventure starts. I didn’t get anything yet from it but I left truly thrilled and happy after the chat with the owner.

What a find! We arrived too late though. But, caught peering through the windows, Neil offered to open up for us so we could have a look about. The cafe is just brilliant - the perfect place to sit back and soak up the atmosphere, gaze at some beautiful bikes and day dream over a coffee and cake. So that's what we did, the next day. Thanks for being so welcoming, and suggesting a great alternative when you really had to head off. We've recommended you to everyone we know who might be passing.

We stopped whilst visiting friends in Crediton for a light lunch. We had panini's and soup, along with a coconut and chocolate flapjack to share. Food and drinks were great. Atmosphere was fun and friendly and the staff were pleasant. Would return again.

We live nearby and go in for a coffee frequently. Neil and the staff are always friendly, the bikes are very cool and it is a nice place to hang out.

A perfect B&B. Really decent high quality ensuite rooms, very clean. The snug is actually a kitchen-lounge - fantastic facility & pleasant space. Service was really friendly. One of the best B&B stays.

Better than expected! We stopped on the way home, after been told of the delicious cakes they do. They weren't wrong! Big tasty slices. I would recommend the carrot cake👍 Not a big place, but warm and friendly with some interesting décor.
