Great little coffee shop. Best coffee in Bromley.

Popped in here to have a rest while shopping on the Wednesday after Christmas. Bromley was very quiet. We had an excellent caffe latte and a cream croissant each for £10. Very nice with friendly staff.

Today I finally tried the Italian café on the high street of Bromley. Relaxed atmosphere even if a little crowded. Also the food displayed- mainly Italian - looks delicious. Regarding the service, I waited for a while for ordering at the till because the barista was writing something down. At least, they brought my order to the table. Disappointed for the fact that the table wasn’t clean but they didn’t pass the spry. They did it once I finished…not very nice! Anyway, the food is delicious, I ordered a croissant with pistachio cream and a flatwhite. The prices are very fair. Next time I’ll try some gelato take away.

We always go there when we're out and about in Bromley for coffee, ice cream or even for a sweet treat. It's dog friendly too so for us it ticks all the boxes!

Lovely little coffee/gelato shop in Bromley. The girls that work there are so lovely and friendly. I haven’t tried the pastries or gelato yet but they all look so yummy so will definitely come back and try 😊

Really tasty gelato and good service too

It was great! The coffee was delicious and we really recommend the chocolate chip Sicilian cannoli. The staff members were really nice and the presentation was great. It is colourful and welcoming. Absolutely recommend.

Ice cream was delicious. Staff was very accommodating allowed multiple taste testers.

Expensive ice cream and sorbet. It was just a treat for my daughter but wouldn't visit again. The place also looks a bit tatty with scuffed furniture and floors. Staff not very friendly either.

Avoid - absolute rip off. £3.40 for a latte in the tiniest cup that literally had three mouthfuls in it.

Good gelato. However half the portion was sticking to the gelato spade and the employee thought "Ok that's it, unlucky". This happened for both flavours and the end product was clearly half the size of what it was meant to be on the picture shown. I didn't bother to complain. In the end £5.50 is expensive for a small gelato.

I bought 4 cannoli and a two scoop ice cream cone and it was only until I got home that saw I had been overcharged!! The gelato is always lovely but the cannoli is not an authentic cannoli, how can you sell a cannoli that is only filled with whipped cream and no taste/ sign of ricotta!!

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's second birthday and the staff wrote 'Happy 2th Birthday Alyssa', the year was written incorrectly and the writing was messy. I asked if they could correct it and they said there is nothing they could do. I suggested that they should at least give us a freebie and they gave us a pack of chocolate covered wafers. In my opinion, still not good enough. When I got home, I easily picked off the 'th' after the 2, which made me think why the staff couldn't have just done that. The cake was fine, we ordered a pistachio and dark chocolate flavour, which both flavours were lacking. My son happily ate it though because he thought it was mint flavoured. I was searching high and low for an ice-cream cake and was hoping this would be the one where I would be a repeat customer since there aren't many ice-cream cake sellers around. I have to say I was really disappointed with the flavour and service. I will not be a returning customer.

Absolutely amazing Ice Cream. Reminds me of the ice cream I had in Italy. One of the best ice cream (Gelato) sold here. Nice selection of vegan products and staff are very friendly and polite. Coffee is also great.

the manager is really rude and disrespectful, the service sucks, Stracciatella Ice Cream the worse, ! , it’s not Italian! couldn't find pieces of chocolate no where!

There is only one thing that let this down there was No public facilities when I asked they told me they do not have any any and go down road I thought any cafe etc that had seating were legally obliged to have facilities Lemon meringue and cheesecake were lovely

Staff are so welcoming,great coffee and cake .Clean and can eat outside or in. Good price and quick service also

2 stars for service. I went with my family, was a queue by the ice creams and it was moving very slowly. It looked like there might have been a queue forming by the checkout and since we didnt want ice cream, my dad went there and asked the server politely if it was a seperate queue. She said no and we moved back to the original queue, no problems. Whilst we were doing this she commented, within earshot of us to another customer waiting "Thats so annoying". I think it was rude and unprofessional of the employees to talk like this within earshot.

Unico Gelato & Caffé has delicious, authentic Italian ice cream. However it is quite expensive.

Been to decathlon in Bromley South. Tumbled upon this gem on our way back. The coffee was very good. My foccacia sandwich was excellent. My wife enjoyed the mini tartlets. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

With all the due respect but 2 pounds for an espresso and you cannot buy decent furnitures? Greedy, Unacceptable. Also, no toilet. 2 stars just because the gelato seems ok.

Yummy gelato to get on way to town. I ordered an ice cream cake recently too and despite an unfortunate mix up of flavours the service was good, as an apology I received much bigger cake than ordered and it was supertasty!

Absolutely outrageous. Visited here on a Monday morning to find uncovered croissants- not to mention the flies swarming around the supposed “sandwiches”. My friend also came for a chocolate cake of some kind as they call it, thus found something small in the cake that looked dark and surely not an ingredient of the cake. The lady took pictures of it and offered her a new cake. I am appalled of the hygiene standards and will not be visiting any longer.

My favourite café in Bromley since it opened several years back. While the staff seemed to have changed and lost some focus, and the pastries continue to disappoint, I can't bring myself to knock off a star for the following reasons: 1. The americano with milk 2. The biscotti gelato 3. It closes at 9PM Cafés close at 4-5pm on the regular in London, and they should be ashamed, but not Unico; superb coffee and gelato deep into the evening.

I have recently ordered a birthday cake for my 7 year old daughter. Could not praise Unico and their staff enough! Incredibly helpful staff and manager who allowed us to have it on site and made sure there was enough space for us all to sit and enjoy a delicious cake! Thank you, we will be back.

Excellent coffee and ice cream, They have one of the best tiramisu that I have eaten in my life. It's worth enjoying. I highly recommend them!

I do often go to this bar .. cappuccino, espresso gelato etc are not bad at all generally the standard is very good for an Italian bar in London .. the problem is about the staff too sad atmosphere just like robots are following the orders . For my point of view nothing to do whit an Italian bar

Great little find. Ice cream here is 👌🏽 Staff were friendly and just a really nice stop off whilst doing your shopping. Will come back again and again as long as they keep on selling that pistachio ice cream 🤗 But lots of other really nice flavours available too if you're not a pistachio fan like me. 😅

This is the first and the last time I come in this shop I come here because my girlfriend tell me they do good coffe which was true but the costumer service ruin completely my experience today 17 august 2022 at 11 in the morning I was in the unico in Bromley and the blonde girl I think was the manager serve me with an hungry face and I buy 2 croissant one was good the other one was pan e chocolate and taste a bit of meat flavour like is been cookt togheter with the croissant . so I make my girlfriend Taste the pane chocolate too she agreed with me that taste funny so I walk to the blond lady and I said your first croissant was nice this one taste funny can I have another one I pay for it.instead to fix the problem she shout to me in front of the people and she said are you crazy and this is the he first time someone complain to me about food I am curious to taste the croissant too and she laugh and after she charge me for the new croissant I am not upset because she charge me but for her rude behaviour so before I left i walk to her and I said I work in hospitality too when a costumer bring you up a problem you try to fix it no shout to him and try be right this so no professional so this is the first and the last time you see me here she look at me and she say sorry with the smile this behaviour is unacceptable and this costumer service is ridiculous I feel sorry for the owner that they lose costumer because of people like this she should be fired and give work to people that really deserves to work and enjoy to work

Delicious gelatos. Lovely service.We had a dark chocolate and straciatella combo, and a coffee and dark choc combo. The dark choc is a stunner and the other two, esp the coffee, were great too. The girl at the counter was really nice, with helpful suggestions. Will be returning often. Yum.

Not just the best ice cream in London, but possibly the world. The mango sorbet is better than most ice creams you get in London, and I've never liked sorbet. The staff have always been friendly and professional. We'll done Zola and gang, you have done a wonderful job here.

Best ice cream and coffee in Bromley. Authentic Italian ice cream from organic ingredients. Coffee excellent and coffee cups have an amazing design. Try tiramisu - delicious. Only problem is outdoor seating area - tables and chairs could be updated but hopefully next summer new tables.

I am so disappointed with this place. I bought coconut scoop and it was vile-it tasted like eating sugar by the spoon with some dessicated coconut, so sweet that sickening. I also got the raw pistachio cake.. apart from being sweet it is completely tasteless. Both went to the bin. I really wish I could get my money back. The staff seemed super bored with her job, she did not help me with the flavour menu, it later turned out there is standard menu and seasonal, as my 1st time there, I did not get that. Also pretty expensive. I've been to Italy, this ice cream here is nothing like the Italian gelato...

Loved this place, their ice cream is incredible! The taste is very rich and fresh. I asked for a mango sorbet ice cream and it tasted like a real mango fruit, not artificial at all. The staff are friendly and super quick, can’t wait to try out the other flavors.

They make an excellent coffee, well worth returning for day after day. While I don't usually enjoy ice cream, I tried both their dark chocolate and strawberry sorbet and they were just brilliant. Service tends to be at quite a relaxed pace, but the quality more than makes up for it.

I doubt their ice latte had any coffee in it. Tasted pretty bad too.

Has been passing by for tens of times but never tried as it's not in a fancy location. Just tried their black Americano and ice cream, and both are really really good. The staff seems to be nice and professional. So definitelyshe only place in my list to have a gelato in Bromley. The seating area is a little bit small though, so quick coffee would be nice but not suitable for coffee-work purpose😊

Il posto è molto carino e pulito, e c'è tantissima varietà di dolci, se non si vuole prendere il gelato, che però vale la pena assaggiare! Anche se il prezzo può spaventare, le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, ed è veramente gustoso! L' unica piccola pecca è che non hanno il bagno!

Best ice cream, love pistacchio and biscotto. I hope they will put back rum and raisin at some point. A little update on this review. My boyfriend ordered a cake for my birthday (today). Unfortunately yesterday we both tested positive for covid and we had no way to collect it. I called Unico and they sort out a delivery for today, they didn't even charge for it, also the lady on the phone was very nice and sweet. The cake was outstanding, delicious (pistachio and hazelnut). Thanks Unico for making my covid birthday a bit more pleasant ♡

Staff very rude, ask for coffe and get wrong coffe Table service is horrible no smile no polite talking with customers . Specialy lady with dark hair dodnt give to finish my order and being rude. Servise need to improve much
