Lovely warm atmosphere and very friendly and efficient staff. The food was well presented and very tasty. They have a set menu and are only to happy to oblige in changing any dish to suit your needs. Loved this place and will definitely go back. It was also very popular and had a really good stream if customers coming and going. Even when there were no empty tables customers prepared to wait, which is a very good sign of just how good their food is.

I’m a frequent Unch visitor due to working down the street from it. Lately before lockdown I had been trying more of their hot meals which were unreal! Was eagerly awaiting it to open again post renovation and I’m so glad it’s back again! The girls are always lovely to chat to and so helpful - it’s always busy which has a lovely vibe to it and I’ve never had a bad lunch out of it!

Fantastic sandwiches..stuffed with fresh veggies and tasty tikka chicken. Always the best around..great friendly staff..have tried the full breakfast too...delicious.

Had lunch here today for the first time, I can honestly say that I will be back when I'm next in the area. Produce really fresh with lots to choose from, just the right amount as well. Have to mention the staff very friendly & patient, giving me time & helping me choose my fillings, great girls, clearly enjoying there work. Nice place, Definitely worth a visit.

first time visiting. ordered 2 large frys, there was one other table in who where already eating so it wasnt busy. waited 20 minutes, couldnt wait any longer so asked for them to be taken away to only be told they hadnt cooked them and forgot to do my order.

First time i have ever been in this place today, amazing wee gem of a place. Excellent food and excellent price, highly recommended!

Called in here during lunch break and chose to sit in. Opted for a sandwich. The menu choice is pretty comprehensive and you also have hot food choice as well. I opted for a Thai chicken filling on granary bread. The filling was not particularly flavorful just tasted like a standard chicken filling. The sandwich was fresh etc so no issues there but just a bit bland. Ordered Americano as well and the taste of coffee was not the best. Bit pricey considering what was on offer. Staff were helpful and attentive though. If calling again I would perhaps opt for a hot food option rather than a sandwich. Willing to give this place another try

For the type of eatery this is, I find their prices a bit high, and the fact you don't get a few crisps on your plate with certain sandwiches isn't appealing either. Yes the bread is fresh and thick and there are other items on the menu. But all in all for me it's not worth the money sorry.

My title says it all. I've been here twice so far and both times i got the same thing. A BBQ chicken sandwich. Very nice and for a fraction of the price that i'm used to when in Belfast.

We went for lunch as it was recommended by friends and it was lovely! Two of us had sandwhichs and the others had curry special that was on! It was lovely! The girls service was lovely and quick!

Ventured into Unch on High Street, Portadown, Northern Ireland, UK, yesterday with my wife, looking for a light meal, and was very pleasantly surprised that, behind what is really a very small shop-front, Unch has a very presentably, long, clean, and cheerful interior for dinning!

Breakfast was lovely got small egg for baby no problem not too greasy was real nice Staff friendly and helpful Gd changing facilities

The £5 unch deal that has a sandwich, drink and traybake is great value. The chips are really tasty. Order a side with your sandwich.

He estado en comida muchas veces a lo largo de los años, pero en mi última visita me dejó sin comer. Cuando llegué con mi madre le dije que tome asiento y sin orden. Yo estaba esperando en la cola cuando dos hombres caminamos junto a mí y al miembro del personal reconoció y les servía de inmediato aunque había estado allí. Él conversó con el cliente como si ellos lo sabía, aún no me reconoció, se sirve el hombre segundo. . Así que me fui a la izquierda! (No había otros miembros del personal haciendo sándwiches en este punto, uno estaba en la caja y el otro en el piso") 'no volveré! Las chicas que me han atendido en el pasado han sido excelentes. . Así que creo que probablemente debe ser emprendido algunas de formación sobre la gestión de la cola para el chico que trabaja allí. Muy decepcionado.

Always friendly staff and consistently great food. My favourite place to eat in Portadown.

Half way through eating my salad, I found a small bug on my plate. I notified the lady behind the counter, who took the plate off me back into the kitchen. She returned with the money for the salad telling me it was a piece of cumin. No apology. I certainly have never seen a cumin seed with legs on it! Terrible customer service!!! Never again!!!

If you want the tastiest sandwich ever then this is the place to go. Service is so quick and staff are really nice.

Have been to Unch on numerous occasion for lunch(sandwiches). But went one morning for breakfast and can say was very impressed. Got a fry which was presented well and tasted amazing. Strongly recommend to anyone who in the Portadown area. Best fry had in town yet.

Popped in here with my wife for a bite of breakfast. We both picked a bagel and were both impressed with what we received.Friendly staff and speedy service (although it wasnt that busy).Would make a point of going back again!!The only reason I rated the 'value' as 4 is because I'm a miserable..... person and always looking something a bit cheaper ;-)

Lovely food, kind and friendly staff, but sit in charge on each individual item, complete rip off. -My grumpy middle aged mother.

The food is lovely and I wouldn't bad mouth the food at all but the staff are never friendly! No customer service skills, I refrained from writing this review thinking maybe it was just so busy as it always is but the staff never seem happy, a lady beside me was getting served and when she mentioned she wanted her panini toasted the staff member said " oh well you should of told me that" in a very rude manner. If I was the customer I would have made a complaint there and then, a customer service training class wouldn't go a miss !!

Called in for lunch while in town, very impressed. The brown bread they use to make the sandwich is absolutely delicious, great range of tray bakes too. Recommended.

I love the sandwiches in Unch, mostly as the bread is great. Poppy seed is my favourite. I normally get the lunch time meal deal, which offers pretty good value.

Absolutely love unch for the handiness and fast good food. My girlfriend and I went for lunch and we had eaten our food and gone working 20minutes. I got a fantastic made sandwich with good portions of fillings and my girlfriend got a heated wrap which came out with in minutes also with great amount off fillings. Highly recommended!

Unch frequently supply our sandwiches and hot food for events and I cannot stress enough how brilliant they are! They are professional, friendly, efficient and above all the food is consistently delicious!

This place makes the best curry! Love going here for lunch. Have visited all 3 cafes in my area and love them all. I would highly recommend them all.

Very impressed with this place, food is to die for. Would love to know where they get there bread from, it's absolutely delicious! Fillings and everything are fabulous....everything is so clean and the staff are an absolute credit. The place is a tightly run operation.

It was a very rare hot sunny day and i fancied a sandwich as i did not fancy a hot meal so i called in. The sandwiches are fantastic, plenty of choices of fillings and made from beautiful fresh bread. It was between 1230 & 1300 Hrs and it was very busy. If I had anything bad to say it would be lack of space, very tight confines and not much space between tables. Staff very friendly and helpful and very clean premises. The food was 1st class and will definitely be back in the near future.

Unch is the place to go if your looking a gorgeous sandwich! I love getting a sandwich here. Usualy always carry out and they are delicious! I go back again and again!!

We are visiting Unch every Saturday and we are always pleased with the service and quality of the food. Sandwiches are very tasty and the good sized. The best is you can choose what you like and make your own sandwich, toastie or wrap packed with fresh ingredients. Average cost for 2 adults and a child is about £20. There's only one issue, you have to get early enough to get your seat. Really pleasant service and a plenty to choose from.

Very busy cafe which serves brilliant food. The only problem is the seating - as this seem to be very popular seating at peek times seems to be a problem due to limited space.

Food is fine here but the service can be slow. One of our party didn't get her meal until we had nearly finished. The staff were apologetic but they do need to avoid errors like this. I would go back but perhaps wouldn't rush to do so.

The best sandwiches ever are freshly made here. Really good value. Only draw back is it's quite a small place and can be a bit cramped as the queue is very close to the tables. Also when it's busy it's difficult to get a table. Bigger premise could do wonders!

We went here last Thursday for a late lunch and I was very impressed with the service, food and the restaurant. I have heard a lot about Unch and wanted to try it several times to see if it lived up to its reputation, which it does in my opinion.

Great tasting food and coffee. Really enjoyed it. Simple as that. Frequently eat there when possible. Meal deal is great value too.
