Two Hoots Tea Room in Ceredigion

One of the nicest breakfast baps I've ever had.

Friendly staff, good coffee, (apparently) great food too! Right next to a steam railway too soa great little stop

Beautiful tea room only a short walk (10mins) from the entrance to Devils Bridge waterfall. Lovely staff and great selection of teas. The brie, onion marmalade, and bacon toastie was absolutely delicious. And we couldn’t resist trying a cake which was also delicious. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

This is a quirky little tearoom, which serves a wide variety of food and drink. The chocolate and orange cake is particularly good, as are the scones with jam and cream. Seating inside and out.

Great facilities at the end of a most enjoyable, authentic, very steep steam railway journey, with the most brilliant views across a beautiful remote Welsh valley.

Lovely people and I was very grateful for their vegan cake and milk options.

Unexpected place at the end of the Ffestiniog railway. Really enjoyed the Three Bridges View and rewarded myself with a lunch at the Two Hoots. Great people and service, sp was the food and coffee

Lovely place but limited options for food. The staff are polite and helpful and not the best place to be if it's raining.

Wonderful staff, had fresh salad. Mum had homemade cake. All very pleased.

Alter Bahnhof als Zwischenstopp nach einer Wanderung. Eine Bahn fährt auch noch nach Aberythwyth.

Appreciate that much of it is outdoors, but could really do with a good clean!

Stopped for lunch, which was a ploughman's, good , coffee was terrible but the service was good. Would use again if I pass this way in the future

Loads of gluten free on the menu. Had GF chicken, bacon and lettuce sandwich which they made to order. Service , food, atmosphere outstanding! Will highly recommend.

In 28 years very little has changed here. Breakfasts served until 11am for the early risers ! The tea room and surroundings, the heritage steam Railway yard is very relaxed and the locomotive crew enjoyed their lunch break alongside the tourists. Locally made sandwiches and cake, hot sausage rolls and pasties also served. Souvenirs too

Lovely little cafe, food was really nice and freshly cooked, and got a little pack lunch for our son, which was more than enough for him, our son loved the chickens that were roaming around as well and wanted to take one home

Good coffee, very crowded due to the train arrival. I would have enjoyed it more at a quieter time. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Beware your pocket ££££..... and then discard the paper cups paper plates and wooden fork.

What a quaint and querky place good food and excellent value for money .

Nothing to much trouble and very good food

Nice place to take a break and refresh yourself after visiting the town and devil's bridge or the three bridges place ... you can have a snack , sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam , tea , coffee, chocolates, chips and alot more things to eat . Not big meals to eat .. You can use the bathrooms around but they will be closed as the cafe closes which is a big pain for people who wanna use the bathroom after sight-seeing and a long hike around .... 🙁 But there is a resturant called Hafod hotel close to the devil's bridge . You can use the bathroom here as it opens till late . Bathrooms were super clean and well maintained !!😃 I love using clean bathrooms 😂 You can eat and stay in this hotel as well . It's opposite to the devil's bridge trail. Beautifull view and stunnin place to plan an over-night stay . I did not stay here but stopped by using the bathroom though . But the view was breath-taking as they got outdoor seating as well and you can enjoy the aswesome scenery while eating and drinking 😄

We loved this cafe!! Not sure why people are moaning about paper plates etc because at least the owners of this cafe, have tried to make it interesting with the quirky wooden sculptures and oddments scattered about :) .....the staff were friendly and chatty too! if you want good service, a cute and yummy treat, then come here! We will be back :)

Great pit stop at the steam train station! Good food and cater for food allergies, well done. This isn't far from devils bridge so defo a plus there!! 👌🏼😁

Very quirky but loved it sat under the awning outside, had a visit from the chicken wandered through to see us all only had coffee, train stops there too

Lovely cafe in a wonderful location. What makes it really special is the journey over the mountain road from Rhayader to Devils Bridge. Perfect bikestop.

Friendly and cheerful staff who carefully follow Covid19 safety guidelines. Delicious beef curry baked potato and also a full gluten free menu. We are very satisfied customers who will definitely make a return trip! 😀

Ordered two jacket potatoes with cheese, beans and bacon. Took three attempts for the correct food to come out and even then one never had cheese added. The wooden knife and fork provided are pretty ineffective too.

A lovely little rustic tea rooms attached to the Rheidol Railway Steam attraction and close by Devil's Bridge..lots of outside space provided as well as indoor seating . Only had a drink and freshly made sandwich but was very nice and a fair price. There seemed to be lots of home made cakes and goodies on offer and the staff were helpful & friendly. There were some local musicians playing when I was there which added to the experience. It appeared to be very clean and hygiene considerations were evident. Wouldn't hesitate to call again on my next trip.

What more do u need. Steam trains, smiling staff, lovely food & a strong cup of tea. Gluten free catered for, sweet & savoury

Very efficient service as they coped with serving the large number of people coming off the train. Reasonable menu and our food was nicely presented and very tasty. Appreciated the tea pot, cups and saucers.

Very expensive , two cups of coffee, paper cups like a works machine , better at work I think , a bottle of water, and a piece of cake they charged £13 I wouldn't use this place again , it spoilt the excellent train ride

Nice location, called in on a motor bike tour of Wales to see Devils Bridge. Had a drink and sat for an hour.

Beautiful place(Devil's Bridge). Can pick up a couple of souvenirs too.

Friendly service, helped give us advice on where we needed to go for a walk that was suitable with a toddler and the coffee was nice. Cakes also looked great and home made.

Lovely place to sit and relax, we've visited at least 4 or 5 times over the last few years when on holidays. First stop after we get off the steam train! Brilliant friendly staff, great prices and lovely food and drink. Facilities are spotless and well maintained

Stopped here at the railway station at devils Bridge and what a lovely spot it was. Picnic benches which was ideal seeing as we had a picnic with us. There was a tearoom attached to the railway station and it is only a short stroll to Devils Bridge itself with its magnificent waterfall. An ideal place to visit.

The most pleasant unbelievable little tea room. My partner and I went there every morning for the full five days of our holiday. Staff were friendly and customers too. Our order was always prompt, hot, fresh and affordable. We will miss the place now we're back in Liverpool.

Fantastic tea rooms, lovely food. Very dog friendly with fresh water for you dogs and a biscuit. All this set in the lovely Welsh countryside. Staff are friendly and helpful.

What a fantastic little place to stop and have something to eat and drink and have a rest or check out the local area on foot. If you love steam trains this is an ideal spot and for £5 you an even drive the train ( buy tickets on site ) plenty of car park space ( careful of on motorbike ) as it is gravel. I did see a sign to pay for car park but wasn't to sure how to pay? Plenty of table and chairs outside and under covers today they have a local folk band playing and they were ace!! A great touch! Food is great and reasonable priced. If your a biker, don't go any further to Aberystwyth and it's grotty chippies and annoying sea gulls! This is the place to be! I'll def be retuning again and def won't be going to Aber again on me bike.

The coffee is very weak very poor like very cheap avoid at all cost. BUT the sandwichs are very nice so we only be sandwich and bottled drinks.

Poor pitch was like a bog underneath. The toilets were clean and showers hot. Not sure I would camp in a tent there again.

Lovely little cafe near Devil's Bridge and the steam railway. Had a magnificent slice of bara brith, a Welsh cake and ther best cup of tea! Proper taste - Welsh Brew apparently. Lovely friendly staff.
