Two Bulls Steakhouse in Hastings

Ive only visited this establishment twice now, both visits were years apart but it didnt change. Food was subpar, nothing to write home about, literally, i was looking forward to some nice thick cut chips i enjoyed the 4 i got. To which i was told thats the portion size, but the others who had the same got more? The service was ok for the large group we had but unfortunately the chef/staff thought it was acceptable to serve the children to which all had kids meals last. Given they had kids meals you would think they would serve them first but unfortunately they didnt. Overall was the best expereince dinning out.

A massive thank you for an amazing time last Friday for our Christmas works meal. The food was incredible and all cooked to perfection and the service from the staff was perfect. Everyone here has been saying what a great time they had and that’s thanks to you. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and hope to see you in the new year.

Lovely fillet steak, could have done with some more chips but I’ll still give it five stars, good service too!

Thank you all at the two bulls. Great food, and fantastic atmosphere. Table for ten was never going to be easy but you served us with ease. Our meals came quickly and without fuss. Drinks were attended to, pictures were taken you really made a night out with friends something special .thank you.

Halloumi fries were amazing. Unfortunately my sirloin was undercooked, and the rump was over seasoned, venue was great and service was excellent, just a pity about the mains

Ok but not great. Hs to have more choice to be able to call a steakhouse. My sirloin was quite grissly too. The waitress seemed moody as well

Went here with my partner. Got the satay chicken skewers, loved them! They were covered in a sauce with nuts in. Salad was very plain, but chips were homemade! My partner got a sirloin which he was pleased with. Fair pricing.

Excellent food, quality, service and value for money

Today, we had a really delicious meal here in Eastbourne for my husbands birthday .The steak was superb ! The kids loved their burgers too ! Service was also brilliant, and top it all the waitress brought out a surprise dessert with a birthday candle for my husband of which no one was expecting!! Thank you to the Chef and all the staff ! We will definitely be visiting again .

Great place, great food. Even better staff. I managed to feel a pint glass up with sick due to many expresso martini's. Chef even came out to clean me up. Will definitely go again, don't know if they would want me back though 😂

Best steak i have ever eaten, been to a few top steak houses before but this is by far the best food I've been served.

Lovely place for the wedding reception

The Two Bulls Steakhouse in Hastings, UK was some of the best food we’ve had on our trip yet. And can you believe they had key lime pie? Of course, being the connoisseur and baker of my home turf dessert, I had to try it. It didn’t use key limes but it was tart enough to mimic, used a biscuit crust, and had a texture similar to our Cuban flan. Served with sweet whipped cream (as it should) and chocolate curls, it was DELICIOUS!! My burger rocked, too. 🍔 #hastings @twobullssteakhouse ✨✨✨

Amazing food, excellent staff, this is a must do when visiting Hastings, small menus which which is where this small restaurant has a massive advantage in serving excellent food, we had the lunch menu but will definitely be back to sample the dinner service, top job to the chef and staff A************

Just got engaged today and went to our favourite steak house where on our good news with the family they presented us all with a glass of bubbles as a gift and to celebrate. We visited on a Sunday evening. It was quiet but still a very relaxed atmosphere. Steak and burger were both excellent and reasonably priced for the quality. Recommended.

Had meal here beginning of June, the staff are great and welcoming, the service and food was so good that I'm definitely returning soon

I had a wonderful time here didn't have a table booked but they were still able to fit us in. The staff were friendly helpful and the service was quick the food was great as well.

Fillet steak was black and burnt not dark brown as expected for £24 tasted burnt Told it was charcoal grill ! and offered to take back but missed the moment as want to eat together as a couple Maybe ate too early grille too hot?

Recently had lunch here with friends. Fantastic meal - three of us had the beefburger, one had the cajun chicken burger and our son had the kids hot dog. We also tried two of the desserts - the peanut butter banoffee pie and the mango meringue mess. All of it delicious and at a very reasonable price. We fully intend to come back next time we visit Hastings as we want to try the steaks and the homemade key lime pie!

Service was really good, lovely friendly people, I had fillet steak and my wife had the pulled pork roll, both great!

Nice restaurant with good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. We had the mackerel pate and deep fried camembert to start and both were excellent. The steaks for main were nice but perhaps a little disappointing, the meal was over salted, and the steaks were a little on the chewy side. Peppercorn sauce was excellent though.

Overall good value for money, a lovely serving staff and I'll admit, one hell of a good chicken burger.

Great place to go if you like your steaks, not cheap and not the perfect place but the steaks were great and how I asked for, good quality.

Such a lovely place! Great location, delicious food and friendly service- it’s one of my favourite spots in the whole of Hastings. So much so that I had hoped to spend my birthday there. Fingers crossed for next year. It’s perfect for a meal whether you’re planning a special occasion or a relaxed catch up with friends/family. On a side note, don’t be distracted by the name- they have plenty more than just steak. I don’t actually eat red meat, but the Cajun chicken was unbelievably good! As was the creamed spinach and halloumi fries. And my sister and I were really surprised by how reasonable the prices were. It’s definitely a location I’ll be returning to again and again.

Went for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Great to see it so busy on a wet and windy Friday night. Excellent food and service.

Steak was best I've had for a very long time, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will be back for sure.

We came here whilst on holiday and it was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic, I had the rump steak and it was cooked to perfection. If we're ever back in Hastings we will be back!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and we were not disappointed! Very pleasant staff, friendly and chatty. I had the Blackened Cajun Chicken with Lime Mayo, husband had a 7oz rump steak with Stilton cream and both dishes were phenomenal! Steak cooked perfectly, chicken very moist and the flavours were sublime. Both came with great big fat chips and a dressed salad and absolutely hit the spot. Definitely recommended, and truly delicious. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant food and service and for a reasonable price. We'd definitely go back. We had the chicken satay skewers and a sloppy Joe burger and they were both amazing. We also had the serrano ham and manchego to start which was nice. It came with toasted bread, pickles and rocket. I also tried the white chocolate Martini, which again was very nice.

We were 2 best friends getting together for a girlie weekend in Hastings and lucked out when we found this place. Firstly we were greeted at the door by Chloe, genuinely lovely lady with a ready smile & great warmth. Welcoming, knowledgeable, funny, felt like we’d been before. We ordered Halloumi chips to start (yum) and each a rump steak accompanied by proper fat potato chips & a dressed green leaf salad, all washed down with a good glass of room temp Malbec. The chef cooked the rump to perfection, everything was great. We loved this place, nice ambience, Chloe making us feel so welcome & all in all a 5/5. Would highly recommend & will be returning when next in Hastings. Thanks Chloe & team for such a lovely welcome 🤗🤗🤗

We came for a family meal out..... must say we were not disappointed. It was wonderful. Every course was very tasty and served by very attentive and observant staff. The food was excellent, especially the spinach.( Could have had a bit more nutmeg for my liking) still it was wonderful. Highly recommendable.

Absolutely wonderful little steak house. The food was wonderful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a restaurant. Locally owned and you really can feel the love that goes into the place. The owner was also incredibly lovely and helped us by recommending where to find a cafe earlier in the day! Well worth a visit!!

The Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, and so tender it was like cutting butter. The staff are lovely and always smiley ☺️

Came for a birthday meal with my partner and friends. Food was amazing, cannot fault the food at all. The service however wasn’t so good. When asking general questions about the menu, the waitress didn’t really seem to know what she was talking about which gave us no confidence in what we were ordering. My friend asked for some sauce (mustard) not only was she given the whole jar (not very hygienic) but the sauce was a year and a half out of date! When we brought this to light, the waitress thought it was hilarious, no apology. No check backs on the food, and no other drinks offered to us apart from the first round of drinks that were offered when we arrived. Main course plates were taken, and we were left sitting. No offer of desert menu (not that we wanted a desert) and no offer of the bill. We were left to walk up to the bar to pay for our meal. As I say, the service was awful but the food was incredible.

Highly disappointing. My partner wanted to go here so we went in for a meal, sat down and ordered drinks. We looked at the menu and couldn't see anything vegan so asked if they had anything - the waiter spoke with the chef and came back stating they couldn't make up a single vegan dish for me. Absolutely bizarre! Nothing - not even a bowl of soup, pasta, salad, risotto... I mean it's not hard! It's the first place I have ever been to in my LIFE that can't cater to vegans. They need to get with the times.

First impressions, really good place to eat, my cajun chicken was succulent and tasty, my family had steaks, which were perfectly cooked as requested.

I’ve been resident in Hastings for some time and recall when two bulls opened but never had a chance to visit for dinner. We went for a Christmas menu and we’re not disappointed. A good choice of various different steaks were available but there’s were other things should you choose not to want a steak. This place however is exactly that, a steak house. The table was well presented and food arrived quickly. Staff were friendly and chatty and accommodating. The steak was cooked exactly as it was requested and arriving hot. The meat was tender and the accomplements were lovely too. I’ve not had a chance to sample anything else or a normal dinner/ lunch service but it’s anything like this menu then you’re onto a winner.

Cool place, not far from the seafront. To often i have visited a steakhouse and the steak hasn't been what you would expect but the steak here was beautiful. We sat upstairs and you can just see the sea from up there. Staff were friendly and accommodating and service was very good. Food was awesome. I don't really eat desserts but my partner said that the only thing that would have made the meal better would have been something chocolatey on the dessert menu. Will be coming here again. 👍

Amazing food and even better service. Steak was perfect my Gf and daughter had burgers which they said were the best they’d had, staff were helpful and friendly but professional. They even held our bag for a bit for us as we left it there by mistake. Really lovely place and can’t recommend highly enough

Bloody awesome steak! Generous portions Nice chips Peppersauce was top notch too! Didn't like the salad dressing much, but I forgot to ask for no dressing. Still wasn't too bad but.

Went there this evening, had the mackerel pâté, sirloin steak and key lime pie. The food was amazing, the pâté was fantastic, the steak was cooked rare perfectly and the key lime pie was massive. The staff lovely and the place was considerate when it came to allergies. I have a ton of respect for this place after they offered free meals to children during lockdown. 10/10
