Twentynine in Hounslow

Op de dag van aankost in het aangrenzende hotel hebben we hier gegeten omdat we geen zin meer hadden om de deur uit te gaan. De keuze is niet heel ruim maar er is voor ieder wat wils. Mijn vrouw had een risotto met kip en asperge en ik de beefburger van het huis. Beiden waren ok hoewel de risotto wat aan de droge kant was. De apple crumble met een bolletje ijs die ik als dessert had was heerlijk! Biertje erbij en niets meer te klagen! Prijzen voor het eten zijn zeer redelijk te noemen. Alcohol is zoals overal in Londen relatief duur....( bijna 6 pond voor een biertje ) al moet gezegd worden dat het een behoorlijk glas was!

Out of 7 of us, only 1 enjoyed their food. That’s quite a feat given we all largely had different things. Comments included -Risotto - mushy with old asparagus on top, Lasagne - very blond, Thai chicken curry - ok, dried chicken burger, steak and ale pie - ok but with suspicious ?packet mash, pizza like card board. I don’t think I will bother going through the starters, you get my drift. Service was very poorShame as we could be repeat customers working locally. The good bits - great company and a nice table

Foods to a okay standard it needs more fresher items but also needs nightly specials but this can only be offered if management are onboard.

More fresh produce would be good. The food at the moment is to a decent standard but it needs more ideas like nightly specials not frozen fish etc. Once again the chefs can only use the stock that’s is brought in by the management.

The staff was talking on phone when we reached the restaurant. He might be the only one taking in charge, yet he provided very good services once he realised we are having dinner at the place. The food and price are fair. Worth going if you don't want go outside.

Staying at the hotel and couldnt be bothered to go walking about, I dont normally go for hotel restaurants but I have now eaten in the restaurant three times and each time have really enjoyed the food. Excellent burgers plus last meal was pan fried sea bream fillet, which was served very delicately, only comment was that it could do with being a slightly larger portion, however it was very tasty. Very friendly and helpful staff

Vine aquí para el almuerzo tarde con mi pareja, el ambiente era relajante y la comida era increíble, pero la mayoría de todos nuestros servidores Alex fue espectacular! Él era atento, acogedor y amable! Es una pena que era tranquilo, más personas necesitan conocer este lugar! No te decepcionará! Definitivamente volveremos a probar cócteles "fuertes".Gracias Alex :)

Esta fue la tercera vez en un año hemos comido aquí. Después de haber probado un italiano no está demasiado lejos de TwentyNine que era decepcionante que acertamos en TwentyNine por casualidad. Cada vez que hemos visitado la comida ha sido absolutamente bien. El menú es suficientemente variada y el chef es claramente bueno.De especial importancia fue el camarero (Alex) que dirigía el bar y singlehandedly realiza todas las tareas en el frente del restaurante (espacios, Diners acogedor, haciendo recomendaciones, pedidos, llevando comida, platos de liquidación, teniendo el pago). Todo esto fue hecho con absoluta profesionalidad y una sonrisa. No es una tarea fácil cuando el restaurante está lleno (que como en las dos noches que estuvimos allí esta vez) estoy seguro!Fácilmente el mejor lugar que encontrará en Hounslow por un largo camino y el único lugar nos volveremos a comer cuando estamos aquí para el rugby.

Buenpersonal estaban en punto, atento y educado.Mal,en donde estaba sentado era desgarrado y cubierto con cinta adhesiva.Pedí el curry de verduras, estaba bien pero era un ridículamente pequeña porción, yo diría que un gran tamaño con mini poppadoms ramekin 1 / 4 taza de arroz por £12. 50 no es la mejor relación calidad-precio.Todavía la pasta estaba bien.

stayed at the hotel nice drinks and food, cocktails around £6, average food price around £15, more for steaks. I had the spaghetti and it was really lovely. My husband had the burger and he also enjoyed it.

I had the lamb curry, very tasty sauce, rice, naan bread and poppadum but half of the meat was tough and grisly, I mentioned it to the very concerned waitress and she reduced the bill in way of compensation, nice atmosphere & staff

Expect slow service, and room temperature food. Nothing special. I ordered the Minute Steak. It was ordinary and cold.

£13.50 for a full english that was cold & inedible. asked for a refund to which the hotel reception refused as apparently they cooked the breakfast just for me. it was a buffet you fools!!!!

Food was wonderful; staff allowed me to alter the main to dairy free. However then bought bread and butter out (after having a lengthy discussion about my allergy). They didn't know what sunflower spread was/ provide an alternative.

Not much in the menue but ok. A bit expensive but the best for that area whoch consist mostly by fastfood places. Nice staff.

Tuvimos una comida de 2 platos encantadoras aquí. Optamos por los 2 platos por £15, que incluye una copa de vino. sopa como entrante, que podría haber sido un plato principal como la cazoleta era enorme. Si hubiéramos sabido que hubiéramos tenido y un postre. Era un sábado por la noche caliente y el restaurante estaba muy caliente y pegajosa, no parece haber ningún aire acondicionado. Tuve un cóctel para beber también pero no era muy fría y no pude terminar. La comida en sí era precioso y el personal era muy amable. Volveremos en el futuro.

The food offered at this restaurant is excellent, good value and cooked to perfection. The best deal is the two courses for fifteen pounds with a free glass of wine.

Chicken Curry, Fish and Chips, Steaks. Am Abend Preiswertes 3 Gang Menu. Wir waren drei mal in diesem Restaurant und alle mit dem Essen jeweils sehr zufrieden. Freundliche Bedienung.

Dirty, poor, expensive, overpriced.Old gorceries used for this restaurant.Poor choice.Never more! Terrible.

I spent three nights here on business and I do have to say the hotel is exactly what you would expect, I was to late most nights for food but did ask for the 24hr menu, after being give the menu I got told I couldn't have anything as the chef left at 22:00 so I decided to have a drink over deciding what to do, I ordered two Rum (Bacardi) and cokes and the price was £23.85 how the hell can they charge this amount and to make matters worse they poured it out of a bottle which clearly had £13.99 stamped round the lid of it, to me this shows the it was and insult to people and I believe illegal as I don't think locally brought liquor can be sold in this way, rant over wont drink there again.

We stayed here when we went to London for a few days. The staff were brilliant, the room was fine. You couldn't really hear any additional noise despite beinga busy road thanks to the secondary glazing.The restaurant had a great  menu, and everything we had was delicious and good value...can't beat it. giving a call after we settle in the room was great, it is a reall personal touch. Plenty of choice for breakfast. We would definately use this hotel again with no hesitation. We were worried after we booked it and saw other peoples reviews about thinking they had parked in a war zone, staff, rooms etc and would the wheels still be on their car etc, but,we alltogeather had 3 rooms, and didn't have any problem at all and nor did any other guests whilst we were there, that we knew of. The car park is small compared to the size of the hotel though, as other people have said.but overall great staff, a great 4* STAR HOTEL

we awere staying at the hotel..Have to say the food and service was excellent.the choice was excellent and evrything came out well presented and delicious

In the hounslow area definetly the best restaurant , the food was perfect , friendly staff , welcoming atmosphere. Definetely will go again.

Made a special trip to visit this restaurant having seen it on the Gourmet Society listing. Made a booking and we checked the terms at the time of booking. I was really looking forward to trying out the lovely food described in reviews.As advised we stated before ordering we stated we had a Gourmet card. Unfortunately the waiter then stated they don't accept the card. We looked got the details up on the 'phone to show we were within their terms, but he wouldn't budge. He also said no Manager or supervisor was available. Worse still he said it had happened more than once before - which made me think they've had opportunities to correct it but haven't; presumably because their (very attractive 50% off) listing on the G.Society website brings people in and they believe people will just accept it and stay. We didn't - we moved to the lounge area to look for a Plan B. The waiter came over and, to his credit, he apologised and offered a 10% discount. It wasn't enough to sway us. It's one thing if there's a problem, but if it's resolved properly then fair enough, but on that poor show, I wouldn't return.

We were really looking forward to visiting and had it on our 'list' for a while. I have a Gourmet Society card and was pleased to see they had a 50% deal with no exclusions ( just advised to call before visiting) which I did to check it was ok to use the Gourmet Society card. I was told it was fine and booked. When we got there I showed the waiter the card, and he went away to 'check'. My first thought was 'here we go'. He came back and said they don't take the card but he would offer a 10% discount! He claimed it must have been a new person I spoke to (even tho it sounded suspiciously like him!) and there was no manager in the restaurant or hotel to help. What a con! Needless to say we left and took our money elsewhere. So avoid if you have a Gourmet Society card.

i liked the staff and the food ,natali was polite,friendly and really good in costumer service ,all the staff was amazing

I had one meal, the food was good, better than average, not what I would call very good. And since I've been on the road about 3 months this year, it's fair to say.

I ate at 29 restaurant last night with my wifeWe found the staff very attentive, friendly and helpfulI had gnocci and my wife had risotto and both had a lovely flavour - the accompanying side salads were very fresh and full of tastePuddings were lovely too

From the duck egg asparagus to the beet and goat cheese tower....all great stuff....the risotto was also very tasty!

Service was good if a bit on the slow side. Food was Ok but not just good enough to entice you back again.

The restaurant is modern and on entry looks like it is set to impress, yet isn't pretentious. It's very different to the area of the restaurants location. Walking up to it, it doesn't seem like you would find a restaurant like this in the area. So it was a nice surprise when I walked in. It's part of the Continental Hotel, but it doesn't feel restricted to those staying there.The waiter greeted me by name which was a pleasant surprise since I'd never been here before. I think he must have been the same person I spoke to when I called earlier in the day to confirm the booking. The food is well presented, a decent portion and delicious. The quality was really great. All of our dishes were very nice indeed.The service, not too bad - friendly, welcoming and attentive. There was only one waiter, and although it wasn't particularly busy, I felt as if he was a bit rushed off his feet. I wouldn't visit if I couldn't get an offer as I feel it's fairly expensive. I have a discount card and that is the only reason why I tried this place. But it is good, and I would make a return visit.
