Loved the staff. We had a fixed price menu for 2. So good.

We have been using Twenty One for Years an seem to have followed Tony around before that.. lol .. Amazing food an friendly staff.. Plus has been a family favorite for all different get together's ... the Italian Carbonara is amazing 🥰😍😇 Jennifer is doing an excellent job in taking the family business over an making sure Our Family Favorite is Still going to be a Fantastic Family run restaurant for years to come 😀

What a delight to eat at this beautiful restaurant. My husband and I turned up without reservations today after a tough morning following a bereavement to try and take our minds off our sadness. The restaurant owner pulled out all the stops to find us a table, and his kind and friendly manner instantly lifted our spirits. The food was the best we have ever eaten, the staff were so attentive and clearly very happy in their work, and the other customers were obviously in their happy places too. Incredible dining experience in a truly welcoming place full of joy, and heart, and hope. Thank you so much x

I was here as part of a large family group of 20 to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. I had never been before, but will definitely be back. The Italian restaurant is a small family run business. They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was pleasantly warm - I cannot bear to eat beside extractor fans blowing cold air at me - and so comfortable. We had a lunchtime menu, so I cannot comment on the full availability, however, our choice was very good. There were two vegetarians in the group, and there were at least two mains options for them. In fact, I chose the mushroom risotto, and it was lovely. The food was delicious, there were no complaints at all. After the obligatory birthday song, the cake was cut up and served happily. Altogether, I would thoroughly recommend Twenty One for a quiet meal, or a larger celebration. There is a public car park just beside it, so handy.

Three of us dined in this restaurant the other day.Excellent service and food was brilliant, next time I'm in Hamilton I would definitely go and have lunch there and recommend it to others.

Fabulous restaurant. My 4th time visiting. Owners are the most lovely and warm italian family who make time to talk to every person dining with them. The food is delicious and value for money is outstanding! My friend and i chose from the extensive set menu, a starter and main each with a complimentary bottle of wine, and we both had dessert. Our bill was less than £50! Three courses each and a bottle of wine for £50... whats not to love? We have already planned our next visit for a post christmas catch up in january. Honestly cant recommend highly enough.

First time here, it was really nice. The chicken liver parfait is the smoothest and best I've probably had. My husband loved his Penne Salsiccia, we had 2 courses each and a bottle of wine and it was under £70 so fairly priced too. The waiters are very attentive and friendly and I really like that in a restaurant, the owners are present and are sure to say hello to everyone, you can just tell they love what they do and that's how good restauranteurs should be. The restaurant itself is spotless, The toilets were clean and smelled nice, I'm mentioning it because I think it's also a sign of a well kept establishment. Sadly didn't have space for a dessert but I'm sure we will be back.

The most amazing dinner I’ve ever had!!!! Friendly staff and great environment. The owner took the time to come and speak with us, share stories and laugh. Great food and great company. Doesn’t get much better than that! We booked another dinner for the following evening on the spot. YOU MUST COME HERE!!!!!

I seldom find a restaurant that I would be happy to return the next day for another meal but seems I have now. From the informal and hospitable hosts (owners) to the pleasant surroundings, friendly service and fantastic food, this is a true gem of a place. We ate from the fixed Xmas menu which was still available and very reasonably priced and also had option of additional dishes of the day included. All dishes were fantastic and not one complaint or disapproving comment from any of my family. Good wines were recommended and chatted about with the owner. Desserts were also very good. Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to visit again soon. Try it, Italian-Scottish contemporary food at its very best.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff were fantastic, the food was divine, an overall brilliant experience. Highly recommend for an authentic Italian experience. The staff even explained the dishes and their origins. Lovely.

What a lovely little place this is. We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. The food was amazing! The lasagne was like magic in my mouth! Like no lasagne I've ever tasted before, I don't know what the secret ingredient is! The calamari starter was delicious too, as was the prawn bruschetta. The set menu was excellent value for money with a bottle of house wine included per couple. Unfortunately we didn't get our wine as I was driving and my husband is unable to drink just now. Its a shame we couldn't take it home to enjoy as they don't have an off license. That won't stop me giving 5 stars though for a beautiful meal and great service! They also offer a-la-carte and children's menus.

Visited for the first time this evening. Staff were amazing and the food was first class. The children's menu was fantastic, our 2 year old loved it. My wife and I will definitely be back. The staff were right about the Tiramisu being the best around 👍

Takeaway with a difference 5 star food piping hot delicious. We were staying at the caravan club site for one night and found this restaurant offering a great takeaway deal £30 for 2 starters 2 mains and a bottle of house wine. We called to book it a lovely lady took our order snd we agreed a collection time, not really knowing where it was we were slightly early and she was very apologetic that as it was cooked to order it would not be ready until that time . It was worth the wait, all home made we had prawn cocktail, their famous haggis pakoras fish snd chips snd homemade steak pie. All fabulous tasty good sized portions we will trinitrotoluene here back on our next stop over and will recommend to everyone at the caravan siteThanks for a great meal

My wife and I visited No 21 for the first time yesterday 13/6/21. I have heard great reviews from other local people and decided to book for our afternoon lunch.I do have Italians in my family and have spent sometime living in Italy.The restaurant is very clean & tidy and very well presented, all staff are very welcoming and very well mannered. The food and drinks are first class, we are so pleased to have found a truly authentic Italian Restaurant on our doorstep.We really enjoyed our lunch and will become regular visitors.

Lovely food, although a bit on the pricey side.

Firstly this is a 5 star review with a few caveats. I was visiting Hamilton to see a friend there for a working trip, and looking for somewhere for good food, ambiance and a bit of catch up. Twenty One is in the unenviable situation of competing with a surprising number of Italian eateries in Hamilton, it is though one of the few that is more of a restaurant than a cafe, with a softer furnished look and less brightly lit. I suspect it would be cosy in preCOVID times but with the spacing of tables it did feel a little sparse but there's also credit there for the effort made to be safe, along with the hand sanitiser right there as you walk in. We had a shared simple starter of olives, bread and dipping oil, with chunks of white crusty bread with just the right chewiness to be moreish, the balsalmic thick and sweet enough to be better than your standard supermarket fare, though the olive oil was a bit bland.My friend is vegetarian and there was a good choice for her from all sections of the menu, she opted for a filled pasta, which was well made thin pasta with a rich filling. The star of the show has to be the seafood risotto though...Let's be honest, many restaurant risottos are a bit disappointing and the seafood is a bit bland cooked from frozen and you can tell. Twenty One's risotto was genuinely surprising, along with the other seafood, a generous portion of perfectly cooked langoustines in their shell served halved on top that lifted lightly from their shells with a slight sweetness and convincing freshness. The risotto spot on with that hard to achieve liquid ripple, distinct grains but soft unctuous forkful of flavour. Being critical it lacked just a bit of the depth you'd find in a starred restaurant risotto, but hey this was Hamilton in a good value restaurant where two of us could have a meal with (one) desert and a coffee for a wee bit over £50! Oh and the coffee was pretty darned good too - a proper espresso with a velvety crema that would beat a high street chain any day.So overall, yes a five star review. I would mark it down for the music being just a little too loud, the wipe clean menus, paper napkins, and that it's an Italian restaurant with haggis stuffed chicken and sticky toffee pudding on the menu. Those are personal niggles though. The service was friendly, engaging without being intrusive, and the food well exceeded expectations, credit where it's due.

Had stater, main course and couldn't walk out without having a desert. Couldn't fault any of them, probably one of the best meals I have ever ate, cant wait to return.

Came here for a lunch and from the minute you walk through the door, what a warm greeting. One way system in place, hand sanitiser etc. Tables safe distance, restaurant spotless. The food was absolutely gorgeous - tomato and moZzarella salad, haggis pakora, steak pie and lasagne - just the right sizes portions too.

This was the 1st time we have been here and it definitely won't be the last. The meals where superb 👌 the staff where very attentive and pleasant. I would highly recommend. Twenty One Restaurant.

Visited last night as we knew the restaurant is closing for 2 weeks due to the new Government guidelines. We are so glad we did, it was the best meal out we've had in a long time. Visited 21 today for our nieces birthday. The food was excellent. The staff lovely nothing was a problem ( we were held up slightly by traffic). We had salads, soup, calamari, garlic bread, chicken in pepper sauce, haddock goujons , chicken goujons, ice cream, sticky toffee pudding, pavlova various soft drinks. The restaurant is spotless in all areas , waiting staff all wearing masks and customers distanced. Very enjoyable lunch we hope to return soon.

Nice meal in relaxed surroundings. It is not too big in here so feels quiet which is nice for a catch up with a friend. I had the lobster ravioli which my friend recommended and felt it was a little bland and overpriced for what it was, but will return and try something different. Did not get to try the wine list as driving, so another reason to return.
