Love this place. NOT for the food, but for the drinks and the staff. Thexatmosphere is warm, friendly and welcoming. The cocktails are tasty and great choice. The staff there are great. The brand itself would be AMAZING if the food was authentic. But I will keep going for the drinks.

It wasn't very busy for a Friday night, service was about slow to begin, but it did improve throughout the evening. Lukas was the member of staff looking after our table of 2, he was very attentive, friendly and professional, he is a testament to the venue.

I have to say Lukas who served us was amazing. Very friendly and funny. Great customer service and he also made me feel at ease when I informed him that I didn't enjoy the food and fair play to the manager on the day who apologised and offered us free drinks. Beautiful place with great music

You can never go wrong with the food at Turtle Bay. Cocktails are also always amazing, so strong and the happy hour is most of the day and you get 241. Served by Lucas today in the Walthamstow branch and he was super attentive, great with food reccomendations and friendly. Our local and will be back!

Service was friendly however I was very saddened to see that after paying for the bottomless brunch it seemed as though the server was actively ignoring my table in order to make it more difficult for us to make the most of the “bottomless” service we paid for. Furthermore, what on earth is going on with the labyrinth to the toilet?! Absolutely absurd. Much prefer the turtle bay in the Hammersmith area where the servers are far more attentive and a lot faster.

I booked as saw on line they did a Sunday roast but on arrival we were told the menu has been updated and no more Sunday roasts and their on line menu will be updated! So decided to give the other choices a go. It's a nice place friendly staff, nice music and vibe. However, the food was a bit average. I tried the jerk halloumi but the jerk seasoning overpowered this so was disappointed. Macaroni cheese was nice. My husband had curry goat but the portion was not enough for a man sized dinner and he said he's had better! The coleslaw was dry cabbage carrot lacking dressing. I would advise the chain owners to increase the portion size especially for what you are charging and tweak the coleslaw and do halloumi without jerk as an option. Nice place they just need to make some improvements with the food and then they are onto winner.

Went for drinks and a quick snack with my parents for their birthday. Carmen was absolutely fantastic, prime example of what a waitress should be - attentive, polite, kind and welcoming! Hannah was a star, too, super friendly and rounded out the night with some laughs!

Live atmosphere and great staff with a warm welcome

I was looking forward to trying Turtle Bay Walthamstow! Booked a two hour slot 11-1pm for bottomless brunch! It was closed when we arrived, we did eventually get in by 11.15am! That said, our waitress Lisa, was lovely, very kind and chatty and very helpful and knowledgeable! Our food was really tasty but the cocktails that were made by both Lisa and Anzi were sublime! I highly recommend trying Turtle Bay, the friendliness and atmosphere make it a great place to make memories with family and friends!

We eat at this restaurant regularly and every time it is an excellent experience. In particular we have had Lukas as our server three times recently and every time he has been outstanding.

Food was better than expected and the recommendated cocktails were very nice too. Pleasant food, atmosphere and great service.

Our experience was 60/40 bad . Food : was very cold . We ordered a variety of yummy starters , seasoning was great but why through ketchup & mayonnaise on everything . This is not what caribeans do . Condiments should be on the side for the customer to add . Not everyone likes ketchup & mayo all over their food . This ruined the food for me, but I would still go again & request they do not do this . Customer service : , the waitress that served us our drinks was rude, so much so I had to ask her what the problem is after she walked away from our table rolling her eyes ( purely because we asked for water with our cocktails - , ) she brought a bottle of water , rather than a glass . All I said was politely ‘ we just asked for a glass not a bottle . That caused her to walk off roll her eyes and then proceed to talk about us to the other members of staff . I confronted her and she said that’s what they do bring a bottle , but i wasn’t to know that - so her attitude was not warranted . Absolutely terrible . We had another waiter who was so awesome & lovely .. so I would say it was just this one girl . I observed other waiters and they were cool . Atmosphere was 10/10 ✅

A super fun place to grab good Caribbean food and a drink in Walthamstow central. It's suffering since the cinema closed, which is a real shame because everything about this place is great. So keep going there! Oh and order the Jamaican shandy with ginger beer - they took it off the menu but they'll still make it and it's soooo good

We had a pleasure dinning in this restaurant due to specifically being served by Lukas. His customers service skills were impeccable and made this experience that much more enjoyable. Staff have been helpful and all smiley. My only advice is that the potion of food could be bigger :) but thank you

Go into Turtle Bay Walthamstow on a regular basis on my own as I am working away from home. The food is always good and believe me I have tried just about all of it! Particular shout out to Hannah & Carmen who always make me feel welcome and are a credit to the restaurant. Dave
