Turkish Delight Kebab in Powys

Ordered from here the other night and food was lovely. Would recommend and would go back here to try the pizza as I noticed alot of people ordering these!

Chicken kebab was lovely, grilled chicken and lovely fresh salad..one of the best I have had.

1st class polite service, lovely on the skewer/kofte kebabs with condiments, pizzas also worth a try!

Dropped in for the 1st time on the spur of the moment as we were passing through. Absolutely top nosh - large portions of hot spicy kebab meat and juicy burgers. It's a shame I am not local as really loved the food from this place. Very impressed.

Passing through to visit elan Valley we stooped and grabbed pizza and kebabs from here and took it with us. Service was fast friendly and food was still hot when we got to our destination. Great find

Hands down, best authentic kebab I've had. Got a couple of the large mixed kebab for myself and my son. My wife had a chicken kebab. Couldn't fault it.

The portions here are huge! An order of donner is enough to share between 2 people. Great food, quick service. Basic interior, but I came for the food not the wall art.

I had a mix meat kebab from these guys and it was one of the best kebabs I’ve ever hand. My girlfriend had pizza which was also really good. Highly recommended if you looking for high quality and good tasting food

Well i didnt expect that. Struggle to get a good chilli source local to me and this place smashed it. Only had a doner meat and chips but everything was spot on. Staying locally for the week and didn't fancy cooking or eating at the local pub again. Also very clean and staff are friendly Parked down the road as out font was full.

Meat was cooked beautifully and the burger was nice and not overcooked! Just wish I lived a bit closer... You're not good enough to drive 160 miles for, sorry x

Was waiting to try a kebab here and was disappointed that the shop had no Doner Meat!!! Unusual for a kebab shop. Had to settle for quarter pounder burgers which were below par, first time I was Disappointed when looking at a burger, pattie was soft with no texture, salad was week, and bun broke up on touch, definitely in the top 10 worse burgers I've had. Was really looking forward to this visit as the food reviews are very good, the shop is spotlessly clean which is reassuring, the lad behind the counter was very welcoming and pleasant. Maybe I got them on a bad mid week time, will try again and hopefully they will have doner meat.

Adjusting review as price increases no longer make it an affordable take away, now on a price par with an Indian which is far superior. Staff are not always that friendly.

Visited Turkish Delight during a camping trip to the Elan Valley. Friendly service, prices on par with my local kebab house and good menu. The meat was cooked properly and the salad and pitta were both fresh, they asked how much of each sauce did we want, meaning that it wasn't swimming in the stuff like many places. Very clean open cooking area which the guys were cleaning as they were prepping which was nice to see, hence why they have a high food standards rating. Will definitely visit again

Honestly just terrible, food was vile and very expensive! Will never go there again, my advice is head for llanidloes kebab house its only another 20 mins drive but much better.

This place s great for a quick tea, everything you would want from a fast food joint. It's clean and the staff are friendly too.

Great place to get food, it’s handy that your able to place an order over the phone. Always a quick and reliable service. The double cheese burger is a favourite, and very reasonable.

Had a great takeaway last night, so good in fact we are looking at going again tonight! Friendly staff and food was spot on, not cheap but I personally prefer quality over price... We had two large chicken shiesh and a portion of chips and it came to circa £17 something.

Good food, staff are always dealing with rude drunks and deserve better from the local customers.

Good service and a decent chicken kebab!

It was snowing and we needed a quick meal chanced on this take away. Ordered Pizza. It was freshly cooked. and very tasty. Staff friendly and did not charge us for eating in. As the only alternative was eating in a cold car.

Staying local in a log cabin for the week and ordered chicken kebabs, pizza, garlic bread and chips from this “delightful” place! All thoroughly enjoyed! Probably one of the best kebabs and pizzas we’ve tasted! Great portions, and very tasty! Will definitely be back when we stay here again. Thank you Turkish Delight :)

While we were in Elan Valley, this was where we got our meals from. Generous portions, friendly staff. Real value for money.

During a recent stay in Rhayader we went to the Turking Deklight for a takeaway.One chicken&Mushroom;and one pepporami Pizza.Good value and tasty.

We visited on a Sunday. One of the few places open. Pizza was fab. Really good plentiful toppings, nice chips and friendly staff. Good varied menu.

Our holiday accommodation was next door to this takeaway. I paid a visit and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness. Service was quick and the two young men running the place were very pleasant.

A restaurant that serves good Turkish grills at cheap prices. The owner of the restaurant is a very respectable Turkish young man and provided us with some free meals for our requests

Food was freshly made and tasty but the staff were full of bad attitude and argued with customers when they made a mistake with the order

We were going to have a Chinese meal but the local restaurant was closed for their holidays. So we ordered food from here & were very pleased with both the quality & quantity of the food & all at a keen price. Would recommend.

Mientras trabajan en la zona me encontré con este increíble lugar. La comida era absolutamente fantástico. Estaba impecablemente limpio y el personal muy amable. Siendo un vegatarin algunas veces me cuesta conseguir comida, pero aquí no me gusta tal problema. Desde la pizzas deliciosas ensaladas hamburguesas vegetarianas el la que estaban tan delicioso. Comí allí todo el tiempo, y cada comida era una delicia. No puedo esperar a volver aunque vivo muy lejos era tan buena.

We arrived in Rhayader late on a Friday evening and could not get a pub/bar meal, So as a last resort called at Turkish Delight for a takeaway, What a pleasant surprise the food was fantastic and one of the best Kebabs I have tasted, The grilled mixed special was amazing and the salad was very fresh even at 10pm at night

excellent food great sevice, brilliant value, as usual when we on holiday we try and have a keebab, checked these out online and they lived up to expectations

We visited Turkish Delight early one Friday evening. The place is spotless and the staff very smartly dressed and friendly. The food we ordered was ready quickly and enjoyable. Sadly we didn't have the opportunity to visit again, but would do so if ever we returned to Rhayader.

We were camping at Gigrin Farm nearby and were passing through town on our way back from a day out and saw it was open and decided to get takeaway instead of cooking when we got back. We had pizza, veggie burgers, onion rings, garlic mushrooms and of course some chips. They were all served in polystyrene boxes and well wrapped and all stayed hot on the journey back to camp. Very tasty, good sized portions and not expensive. Definitely go again when in town.

Garlic bread with cheese is to die for and the chicken burgers are insane! Not too expensive and always ready really quickly.

This place has seriously gone down hill in the past couple years since the original owners left and employed their family members from over seas, there's a new face there every 6-12 months and their English is usually quite poor which explains why the past few times I've ordered take a way they have got my orders completely wrong. When going back down to sort out the correct order the most recent time they were extremely rude to me and unapologetic. Take away is suppose to be "easy and quick" I would of had a easier and nicer dinner if I had cooked for myself. The chips are almost always over cooked (see picture) the majority of staff are rude and grumpy except the younger one who always seem to have a smile on his face, which is the only nice thing I can say about this place. It's really disappointing because this kebab used to be one of the best kebabs around for miles, now I would say it's the worst, and I'm sure the majority of Rhayader would agree with me. Don't waste your money, they've raised their prices for a reason, the reason being they need to make profit somehow!

Very tasty fresh fast food. Little Gem to the lovely village and enjoy taking food to eat in Elan Valley.

Whilst staying in Rhayader for a few days we opted to get a takeaway one night and went to "Turkish Delight" in West Street. We had a 12" Meat Feast Pizza, a 9" Donor Meat Pizza, a 9" Garlic Bread, a small Donor Kebab, a large Donor Kebab and a chips. Everything was superb, the pizza's were very tasty and well loaded and the kebabs were packed with meat and the salad was fresh, one of the best Donor Kebabs I've had. To top it off the staff were friendly, the service was fast and they have a top hygiene rating of 5. I would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a fast, easy, cheap and tasty dinner and we would use again whenever staying in Rhayader.

Bought a pretty ropy kebab here. Even though the shop was empty the staff weren't interested in the service element of their job, preferring to watch TV. Threw most of the kebab away.

Absolutely fantastic,succulent and generous portions, but also have had the chicken kebabs which also are fantastic, have popped in numerous times over the years as stopping point on the way back to Wolves

It was our last night and we didn'twant to cook so triied kebabs and fries from here. The place is clean and tidy, the staff friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
