Best crispy bhajia outside Maru bhajia

Amazing food! Highly recommend!

Myself and my family have been a regulars at Tulsi's for years now - it's the best indian nasto (snacks) place within miles of Kenton and I have tried most of them!! The docree and bhajia are the highlights. There is often a queue outside on the weekend which is a sign of how delicious their food is. The food always tastes fresh and they are constantly making new hot batches. The owners are also nice too.

Very small shop, but food quality is worth trying I recommend try their batata bhajiya

This is an amazing place for snacks and light meals - freshly made! My weekly order is samosas, theplas, crispy bhajia, mogo, potato curry. Tasty chutneys too.

We have bought th3 crispy Bhajia ,potato vada and samosa. I was shocked the food was so cold . Looks like they have given stright from the fridge. They don't give chutney with the bhajia. No chutney ,cold food .

Tulsi food is great taste and the service is outstanding. Staff are so friendly. We go there regularly we just love there food. Anyone who has not tried their food I recommend u to try it out. Absolutely amazing 😊

Rude server who I believe is the owner. They were busy with queues onto onto the street, which I waited around 15mins. When inside, rushed to order. Realised why, as the next customer ordered a big order which they were interested in serving. Asked additional crispy bhajiya, 1 server said will be a few mins but the owner said 25/30mins as queue is till outside. Not good service, used to be a regular customer 5 years ago, stopped going due to food not being to scratch. Thought I'll try again but disappointed. Food was oily, they also forgot to pack dhohkla due to the rushing. Didn't take recipet, so not sure if been charged. Not a good experience so avoid. Better Gujarati outlets nearby a lot better.

Being insulted in the queue wasn’t very nice Called to order and was told 10-15 mins 38 mins later and waiting outside on the rain wasn’t fun then to be told by the young girl behind the counter that everyone is waiting. Didn’t say that, I said u should have said on the phone longer and I would have come later No point in ordering earlier as the little ride people have no idea how to speak to customers

Small cosy farsan shop with amazing theplas!! Love all their dishes but the theplas are just delicious. Staff are super lovely and friendly which makes a huge difference.

Fantastic service, great variety, the crispy bhajia are the tastiest I have had. I have purchased from Tulsi's for many different occasions and I have always been highly satisfied. The quality of food is consistent and I always get service with a smile.

I have always gone to Tulsi for genuine, authentic tasty vegetarian food. Whether it's for a takeaway meal or large orders for events the taste and quality is undeniably excellent.

Ordered T/A bhajia and Lasania - very expensive T/A. Bhajia alone came to £11.50 and they were cold. and I got 2 separate bags so I could get 2 portions of chutney. They only allow one tub of chutney per order. If you really want to order bhajia - ask for minimum weight of 200g as1 order and then multiple that by 3 or 4 separate portions. so you get more chutney tubs. I would not be buying my T/A lunch from this place - rather get a meal deal - nutritious and healthy and I can have this meal for 4days .

Extremely tasty samosas with lots of yummy filling! Usually you find samosas to be empty from the corner of the pastry however these was filled throughout. The filling was very flavoursome and the size was perfect. I ate these at a family function and will definitely be ordering them going forward! Very yummy!!!! Thank you.

1*My original posting is below, this is an updated one!! Subsequent to my first experience with Tulsu, I have been back and sampled their crispy Bhajia, Dhokra, Mogo and they were all enjoyable... Just remember not to leave it to the last minute and expect to get any food.. 2*This is the first time I've been to the shop. Its seems very popular and no doubt the food is good gauging from the queue outside. Its about 6pm, close to closing time I ask for some crispy Bhajia and was told to wait as other people in the queue were waiting for some there was one last batch being made and I may get some depending on what's left. I wait and wait... Last customer leaves and I'm still not called... This is now 30 mins... I go in and am told sorry no crispy Bhajia... My grudge is that I could have been told 15 or 20 mins earlier, did I have to be kept waiting so long?

Some of the tastiest bhajia's I've had! Staff at Tulsi are always friendly and I've never walked away disappointed! I'm always recommending them to friends!

Tulsi by name, Tulsi by nature. Apparently Tulsi means "unmatched/matchless" in Sanksrit and the Tulsi plant is regarded as a gateway between heaven and earth. I can't think of a better description of their signature take on Maru's style Bhajia+Chutney. A masterpiece of the culinary arts. Loved by all of my family (including the elders, who usually despise "outside" food). Definitely our favourite food shop in the world. Always guaranteed to lift spirits. Thank you, and Good Luck.

Amazing Chruma Ladoo, Chora Fari and Crispy Bhajias !

Bar far the Best Crispy Bhajia in London without a doubt! Been having them for years and they just get better when you think they can’t taste any better ! When I had Covid and lost my taste my wife brought me some and I will never forget that moment ! Sometimes there is a slight que as the shops small but it’s worth the wait!

I got a takeaway. The bhel was okay not the best I have had but still decent. The kachori was not to my taste it may differ for others. However the spring rolls and boondi ladoo tasted really good. Affordable and good value for money. I will be back to try other items off the menu. The staff were friendly and attentive which is nice to see.

I always go to Tulsi. I would definitely recommend this place. It was highly recommended to me. I know so many people who recommend and go to Tulsi too. Jumnaben and her staff are friendly. They are efficient too. They always give great customer service no matter how busy they are. Keep up the good work Tulsi your food is awesome.

Disappointed... ordered their channa and bhatura on Thursday and the channa curry was undercooked and way too oily and their bhatura were tasteless! Their quality had really gone down compared to a few years ago... Truly disappointed.

Delicious food...made with fresh spices which you can taste with every bite. The staff is very helpful, polite and expert in every way. I reccomend you Must VISIT TULSI OR ELSE YOU WILL BE missing out on a wonderful culinary experience.

The breakfast items on Mother’s Day were very poor in quality. The jelebi was too sweet. The ghatia was too thick. The sambaro was tasteless and limp. The dhokra looked better than it tasted. Your food used to be so good. Very disappointed especially because it was a such a special occasion.

Nice small shop but sells a very good variety of fast foods! My favourite is the potato bhajias with their home made chutney!! Yum

I regularly pop in to pick up snacks from Tulsi. You've got to try their crispy bhajiyas and the chutney that goes with it is so fresh and well balanced. Would also thoroughly recommend for Sunday breakfast of fafda and jalebi.

I have been eating Indian vegetarian food for over 50 years now and consider myself a bit of an expert as a result. The food at Tulsi is sublimely good - absolutely the best Indian vegetarian food I have ever tasted. The cleanliness is magnificent as is the owner and all the staff. Scrupulously honest and always trying to find ways to help and advise you. The Potato Bhajia and the Bhel (to name but two of the treats on offer) are out of this world Enjoy you won't be disappointed

Fantastic vegetarian curry takeaway run by a mother and daughter team. All home made stuff. All fresh and delicious. I come away always buying far more than I mean to. Altho it's only tiny, there's a good selection. And the queues say it all.
