Tuck Inn Cafe in Doncaster

I was greeted by smiling staff and seated straight away. I had the stew and dumpling with mash and vegetables. Really enjoyed it and will be back to try other things from the menu. Well worth a visit

Really good cafe handy for Doncaster train station Good breakfasts and dinners made here Saturday 25th February 2023 I again visited this fantastic spacious cafe This place rightly has a good local following Great value food not just brekkies great staff good lighting and most importantly food well cooked and good clean surroundings to eat in Friday 23rd December 2023 I again was in Doncaster, and it was a must to have a no 3 breakfast at this magnificently run spacious clean and friendly cafe All i said on my last visit is was the same today Not just breakkies great, but all food prepared and sold here

Went in to tuck inn cafe for dinner, big selection to choose from, very enjoyable meals and atmosphere.

The staff are so friendly and make sure you're happy the food is lovely and fresh would highly recommend and will be back!

Outstanding food, always order the Spanish omelette without the chips and i can honestly say I wouldn't go anywhere else for one now. Beautiful presentation and tastes amazing, the staff are all so lovely, fantastic service. Well done guys you ought to be very proud of yourselves. Highly recommend

Have been to the Tuck Inn a number of times now. It has a large range of freshly cooked comfort foods at a very reasonable price and delivered with a friendly service, well worth a visit

Just had breakfast in the tuck inn,got to say it was delicious got the £6.10 meal with tea ☕ toast well worth the money, also very clean will definitely be going again 👍👍❤️

If this is the best brekkie in Doncaster I'd hate to eat the worst one !!. Poor in quantity and no better than a lay-by snack van. Extra mark for including toast, coffee or tea.

I recently visited Tuck Inn Cafe in Doncaster and was extremely impressed with my experience. Chose the breakfast and was excellent, with a wide range of options to choose from. The service from the waiter was also outstanding - he was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. One small issue we did have was with parking - it can be difficult to find a spot in a car. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience we had at Tuck Inn Cafe. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone in the area looking for a delicious meal and great service.

I often go for Breakfast on a Saturday morning when in town shopping it sets me up for the day. The Tuck Inn cafe is clean and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The guy that cooks the breakfast puts his heart in what he is doing and that is seen when the plate arrives. I say its the best run cafe in town and value for money. Well done guys!

Dropped in for a bite to eat whilst in town. Has a good varied menu with reasonable prices. Service was quick and food freshly cooked. Plenty of seating and gets busy at times. Recommended but was disappointed in it being cash only.

Fantastic cafe,lovely food and the owners who are family, have had it for over 30 years. We go once a year xmas shopping and always use it,and the owners always remember us.Highly recommended.

I think the tuck Inn Cafe is brilliant I love the idea that they are very friendly and respectful all the time to everybody and the food is delicious if I was to choose out of all the cafés in Doncaster it would be the tuck in cafe always.

What a lovely normal sensible friendly place. I tried to find breakfast at the railway station and then in some shopping mall full of fast-food places. A local man directed me here and it really was a treat.

Heard alot about the Tuck Inn, firstly may I say it wasn't bad value at all the staff were welcoming, but have to be honest wasn't overly impressed by my brekki, although unlike Wetherspoons was freshly cooked, feel the ingredients were a little on the cheap side mass catering tins I suspect.The bacon wasn't nice at all though I did enjoy the sausages. All in all got what I paid for I guess which was £6.20 cash only.

Wish I could give this family cafe a 6 *.. The breakfast served was fantastic value and there were several options for the all day breakfast. They also do lunches & dinners,all cooked on the premises & home made. Portions are generous as is the welcome & service. . This is not one of those greasy spoons but a well run family cafe that is clean and offers excellent English home made food.. I only wish I could have had dinner there but was full up after my #3 breakfast which was more than filling and quality cooked.. Support your local cafe...you will not be disappointed with this one ! Situated a short walk from the railway station and near the Halifax

Cracking place, lovely friendly staff, great value, excellent quality, freshly cooked breakfasts. Everything from just a cuppa, to Toast, to various sizes of breakfast. Then full varied daytime lunch and dinner menu. What more do you want?. Well worth the visit. Just 2 mins across from the station/Interchange, near the McDonald's. Well recommended.

Went to Tuck Inn for lunch with friends a few days ago. Was really pleased to see the alterations in place to create a safe environment during the pandemic. As you enter the cafe there is a alcohol gel dispenser for customers to sanitise their hands. Some tables are closed down to maintain safe distancing between customers. The guy bringing out the food sanitised his hands regularly between tables and wore a mask. He was very helpful, professional and friendly whilst he kept at a safe distance. We really enjoyed our meals and felt very safe coming out to the cafe. As we finished our meals a lady came right up to our table collecting our cups and plates. She did not wear a mask, spoke with us as she collected the plates as she stool right by our table. We were shocked that she hadn’t maintained social distancing, she hadn’t wore a mask, we felt very unsafe. What had been a lovely safe experience enjoying nice food in the cafe turned into a worrying experience. We would have felt more comfortable had the lady collected the plates from our table once we had left.

We visited the morning of the 16th Table of 4.Extremely impressed with the food and the portion sizes.They had such a variety (not sure on the vegan options unfortunately and being vegan myself it would be handy to know) But the overall food was wicked! The cutlery was clean, condiments widely available. This place is great and it’s super nice to support little businesses like this one. The staff were all so friendly and clearly took pride in what they were doing. I highly recommend the tuck inn cafe.We hope to be back soon and often. Thank you!

Visited here with my son - we were looking for lunch without spending a fortune. It was reasonably busy when we got there and packed when we left - it's obviously popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Our food was hot, fresh and tasty, the service was good and we agreed we'd happily come back if we find ourselves in the area again.I wish I'd taken a little more time to check out and try some of the hot dishes that were sitting in the warmer on the counter - some of those looked really good. Oh, well. I suppose there's always next time.

Very disapointed with my ham salad, although the salad part was 5 star it was served with cheap value pre packed ham, Had to leave it.

Superb cafe in the centre of Doncaster. A minutes walk from the railway station we called here for breakfast and it was excellent. We experienced a friendly welcome, good service and very reasonable prices. The food was excellent.

There are not many decent Cafes in Doncaster - but for Breakfast and I am certain other meals like Pies/Chops/Lasagna etc - this place wins by a country mile in Doncaster staff are always always pleasant too - it's a favourite of mine no doubts!!

Nice place with friendly quick service. I ordered the number 2 breakfast for 4.90. They bring it to your table when ready. It took maybe 5 minutes. The wifi password is almost worn out so use my photo. If I were the owner I would print it off (that's a suggestion not a criticism). I liked it here and will come back

Decided on a random day out with my wife and disabled father in law.From the off, the staff were very pleasant, helpful and couldn't do enough.Food was fantastic and well worth the money. I'm a Barnsley lad, but this cafe will defo be visited again :) Brilliant

We didn't eat here just called in for a drink. It looks a very basic place but the tables were clean and it was the best cappuccino I've had for a long time.
