Went for lunch and despite being busy the food tasted fresh and all prepared to order! Great selection of salads and healthy alternatives for lunch

I visited Tossed late one evening and was pleased to see a healthier eating establishment among the usual fast food places. The salads are freshly prepared on the day and whilst a little pricey - you get what you pay for. The salads are handmade with fresh ingredients whilst you wait. The staff were efficient and friendly. I'd come back again - well worth a visit if you want something different than the usual 'unhealthy' fast food places.

The food is nice, however it is expensive for what you get.. A salad costs £7 and although you get to choose your fillings it's not very big for the price you pay. However I would recommend the fish finger wrap, again, expensive, but it is really nice.

Went here for lunch and the food was amazing. The food is meant to be very healthy which is a bonus however the only downfall was that it was quite expensive. The salads are particularly nice and so are the wraps. You can eat in the food court or take salads away to eat later. Also their smoothies and juices are probably the nicest in the Bluewater shopping centre.

My Partner and I went there to try out the salad and smoothies. The green dream smoothie was nice enough but very expensive. the tossed salad how ever was very expensive for what you got and it was basically just lettuce with a tiny amount of other stuff. for 2 salads and 2 smoothies it was nearly £23!! never again.

Myself and my family follow the Slimming World healthy eating plan (I am a consultant) and finding healthy options is sometimes quiet challenging. Tossed at Bluewater was fab. My partner and myself had the roast salmon salad and my son had the chicken breast all very tasty. Only complaint was the container was smaller at the bottom than at the top so it looked like you were getting lots for your money. Would definitely eat there again tho.

Fancied something a little different so decided on Tossed as opposed to the normal fast food offerings. The food was very good, although the wraps were nowhere near as stuffed as the ones on display! Price wise it was above average but the quality and choices were good. Definitely a healthier option than its competitors!

We wanted something light to eat and went to Tossed. Good choice - I had the caesar deluxe with salmon and my friend had the halloumi and roasted veg. Both were delicious and a perfect lunch. The most expensive meal was £7.99 and you also had the option of creating your own salad. The only downside was sitting in the large eating area which is the Winter Garden. It was very busy - school holidays - but the tables were cleared quickly and were clean and we found a place to sit quite quickly. Would definitely go back there. (PS - was it really sensible for the staff making up the meals to have a name badge with 'tossers' on it!)

Its a good idea but it is way too expensive, its no wonder people end up in McDonalds when you get ripped off at places like this. £7 for a bowl of lettuce leaves and a few bits of chicken. I actually had to go back and ask for the avocado I paid for as there was none in my bowl. The salad tasted nice enough but it still doesn't justify the price. To feed our family of 5 for lunch with a drink would probably cost £40, TWICE the price of a McDonalds, I never want to go to McDonalds again but there are plenty of people out there that will simply because of the price. I will be going to Boots next time for a meal deal!

We were having a shopping trip around Bluewater and mid day we wanted some lunch. Bluewater has lots of food outlets and Tossed was the least busy and we fancied something light. I opted for the Greek salad which is supposed to contain feta, avocado, tomatoes, peppers and cucumber, all I got was a big bowl of lettuce! One chunk of avocado and the tiniest amount of feta. My boyfriend opted for the chicken, bacon & avocado wrap, again mostly full of lettuce and just a chunk or two of chicken, avocado & bacon at the very bottom of the wrap. The drinks were the best bit - a bottle of water and an orange juice! For this we were charged almost £20! What a rip off, I will never return to Tossed.

Totally disgusting food the burger was all grisske and red . And the chios were soacked in greese . Absolutely vile... the chicken doner had all white bits allover it. It was the worst kebab ive had in a long time. If thats what you call it. The man at the front with the big nose thought he knew everything. No service skills required . Bad food bad attitude.

Penelope's Restaurantlocation-iconWater LnMediterranean

We visited first in November during the fireworks event and had a lovely meal. My husband turned 40 yesterday and we wanted to book somewhere that had a menu which would please a large group including children. Penelope’s was one of our options but we were a little put off by the 3.5 stars on TripAdvisor. We decided to book anyway since it was convenient and we’d also had a good experience last time. We weren’t disappointed. Some of the more negative reviews cited inattentive service, but Michaela, our waitress, was beyond lovely and really went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Absolutely outstanding service. And actually, the waitress in November had been good too. The food was great and they make the pizzas from scratch in front of you (I particularly recommend the Amore Mio!). When we originally found out that Kelsey’s Farm was being bought out by Beck Evan’s, we were disappointed - the site had many happy memories attached to it under its former owner. But, they’ve not really got rid of anything and have instead just made improvements to what was there. The restaurant is better, there’s more going on, the soft play is cleaner. Will definitely be back!

Third visit. Disappointed tonight. The chicken was tasteless and the rice was soggy. Such a shame as previously the meals were enjoyable
