We had my birthday celebrations here on Friday past. Food was amazing, staff was lovely and prices very reasonable. Spacious and great views. 10/10. Can't wait to go back!!

The views are awesome. This has to be one of the very best reasons to eat here. You could literally take your time to eat and just look out and drift off for a moment and enjoy the splendid view of the mountains, coastline and sea. The food was lovely. The pepperoni pizza I had last time was just perfectly cooked. The dough they use turns out fluffy on the inside and nicely crisp around the crust. The toppings were all tasty and nice and evenly distributed across. The service was a little slow and the young staff were a little unsure of themselves. The place is a bit dull and drab and not the cleanest. The place could definitely do with a bit of modernization and updating. All this being said it's a pretty ok place to get cheap and tasty food with a great view. Recommend if you are not looking somewhere a little more upmarket.

Called in at 7:15pm to order a takeaway, as advertised online and at the premises. Was then told that takeaway wasn't possible as they were running out of pizza bases at 7:15pm...7:15pm. Makes you wonder how fresh their food is if they're using pre-prepared pizza bases. Definitely one to avoid.

Been going to Newcastle for years but only just found this little gem of a restaurant. Everything was wonderful and we'll definitely be coming back!

Delicious food as always, we are never disappointed. Staff are always cheerful and extremely helpful. Thoroughly recommend the Toscano. Lovely restaurant in an idyllic position overlooking the sea.

Staff very pleasant and helpful and the views are lovely. The Caprese salad was generous size. However the gluten free pizza was not well prepared. Too much Tomato sauce and far too little cheese. The pepperoni tasted more like hot dog sausage with no "heat" in it. The pizza was over baked. A shame really as everything else was OK and the prices are reasonable.

Love this place! Best pizza I've had. Unexpectedly delicious, creative artisan choices. Deciding which of their specials to have is always a challenge! This is a family run place and you can really tell. The staff are fabulous, always attentive and it's incredible value for money. Couldn't recommend highly enough and can't wait to be back!

Yet again the lovely staff were attentive, the pizzas delicious and the view was sublime. Toscano provides an opportunity to have a wonderful treat night, which doesn't break the bank.

This pizzeria is by far the best on this Island. The bases are exactly as they are in Italy and the toppings are creative. The half and half option is fantastic. Great staff and views. Brilliant night out. Looks like big groups are also well catered for.

Went for a meal with my family, amazing pizzas and very friendly staff! We were accommodated extremely well as we asked if we could have another table added on short notice.

Lovely pizzas, lovely people Ordered myself a Maryland pizza for takeaway, seemed to be a busy night but staff were friendly. They gave an estimated wait time of 15mins, was worth the wait, quality pizza, very tasty sauce and not too shy in toppings, would recomend if you’re looking for good pizza in Newcastle.

Good quality food, competitive prices and friendly staff

We had high expectations of this pizzeria after reading the website but was quickly disheartened when we asked for one of the pizzas to have less sauce to be told the pizzas are all premade with the sauce beforehand. The mushroom pizza has hardly any mushrooms on it, one pizza had lots of flour on the bottom, one was super burnt and seemed to have much more tomato sauce, the pepperoni pizza had so much cheese the pepperoni wasn’t cooked, the chips had no flavour. Good for a cheap kids dinner party and staff are friendly but no sign of the owners or any real passion. Such a shame.

The best pizza, salads and service! We feel so lucky to have this wonderful family restaurant as our local. The food is always delicious and the welcome is always warm. Thank you Toscano you never disappoint!

Food was ateable, was presented with a burnt pizza and ok peri peri chips, although very reasonably priced, half carafe of wine was around £7 so nice to go to if your looking a cheap eat but don't mind burnt offerings.

Great pizza 🍕 and friendly staff

My boyfriend and I came here for our one year anniversary date. It was wonderful! The views are spectacular from the restaurant… try to reserve a window seat if you can! The pizzas are out of this world, thin base with a wide selection of toppings. So delicious. The staff were most accommodating and nothing was too much to ask of them. Will definitely 100% be back!

Wow, I have to admit I am not a fan of pizza, but the pizzas here are absolutely amazing! The best I have ever had! Also the bruschetta I would highly recommend. Comfy interior and the staff were lovely! An absolute must for the food!

Great food and a really good selection of pizzas and tasty salads, I visit probably once or twice a month, my partner loves pizza and thinks these are some of the nicest he has ever eaten! Lovely staff and great prices too!

Visited here last night while on holiday in Newcastle. Excellent pizza, great bottle of wine and the service was superb. Covid precautions well in place. Highly recommend!

Food was atrocious, frozen burger, cold chocolate fudge cake. Prices are unreasonable for the food you are getting.

We came with our lively children and found this restaurant very family friendly. Lovely laid back atmosphere and the pizza and salad was amazing. Staff very friendly. We'll be back!

Beautiful pizzas, amazing views and so reasonably priced. I recommend booking as it's very popular. The staff are young and friendly, very attentive. The food is delicious. Pizzas cooked to perfection. There is also steak, burgers, pasta dishes, nuggets available for the non pizza lovers.

REturned to this spot yet again with the hopes of improvement. Last time the pizza was burnt so rather then risk this again, the pulled pork pannini and burger was ordered. The burger was easily the worst one ever; overcooked to the point of dryness.And...

I came into Toscano over the weekend I came in by myself since I am over to Ireland from America travelling and I must say absolutely amazing! Pizzas cooked to perfection! And their garlic chips are a must to try! The customer service was brilliant...

Usually you can get outstanding pizzas with great variety and not break the bank as well. But the chef was sending out overcooked pizzas to paying customers. They arrived with a crust burnt black on the end and dry. The toppings which are usually marvelous...
