Top Wok in Surrey Heath

Placed our order at 8pm. Expected delivery at 21:00, extended to 21:15/21:25. Just Eat had marked our order as delivered at 21:40. After waiting 2 hours, we called the restaurant numerous times to firstly get some updates but after the 7th call to cancel the order as we did not expect a delivery at this point. We left the residence at 10pm to get food elsewhere. On arrival home at 10:20 the food was left by the doorstop and was cold. Disgusted by the lack of communication from this establishment regarding late delivery times.

I found a piece of plastic in my soup. Extremely dangerous and all they could say was to reimburse me for the soup. Terrible. Should be ashamed!!

Well, I love this place , the food is excellent and fresh as always, great for a takeaway any night but for me a Saturday. Always delivered within the 45 minutes, they say. Plus, if you sign up every now and then, you get the 15% off weekend, so not just the food is good and also the price, and we love a bargain. I order direct not through just eat or Uber eats.. give them a try, you love it. What, good food is too good to photo. Yummy though.

Nasty re fried food, rude manager didn't want to listen when I provided feedback. I was so happy when first time I ordered the salt n Pepper wings were bot bad but over salted not dry hot just cooked, soup was the leftovers at the bottom ..spring rolls were soft not crispy, I been ordered few times a week and thought the food changes due to new chef? But no same chef wings sometimes come dry and re fried too much crumbs tiny baby wings and so much onion.. I'm not ordering onion I'm ordering wings.. then the soup started being ok n spring rolls crispy, the rice Singaporean noodles has meat (no pork as i asked) were not bad the first few times but keep cutting them wen I ask not to cut!! then when i did last order asked like always instead of pork to put chicken and prawn and it came with 1 tiny prawn and no chicken!! They should put lots of prawn chicken since i dont eat pork which they put more of, Again it was cut like who cuts noodles once it came uncut and obviously the drivers want to save fuel so do many drops and food comes cold dry, I pay lots of money each time for perfect hot food so when I asked to resend they said OK we collect the bad and send the good but excuse me even its dry cold we are hungry so ate it and if food fine I wouldn't complain n y collect to re heat for other customers!!?? few times had to complain and kept giving them chances, I lived in China so I know when I'm being cheated, I won't order from here again, they send you not bad food first time to get you interested then start sending bad quality food and if you complain they send good but cmon must I always complain??! how can anyone eat oversalted dry cold umfresh wings same like nasty kfc wings they r dry too much bread crumbs so I noticed they have diff quality food to send, the noodles were not spicy like the other times and they put so much onion again now into noodles Im not ordering onion but noodles there shouldn't be long 10 pieces of huge half raw onion like!!! Avoid this place. I wish I find a real Chinese place. I shud of took pics to show u how bad it is, I'm reading other ppls reviews so similar!!

I was wary of the negative reviews here, but decided to order as it is the highest rated Chinese takeaway on JustEat. I'm pleased that my first experience with them was a positive one. I ordered a large dinner set which arrived in just 45 minutes, and piping hot. They got all my items right and the delivery driver was polite. The portions were generous and food was very tasty. We really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely order again. I say give this place a go!

Do NOT use I can not overstate this enough! Food doesn't arrive, they charge you, don't deliver, argue the 'driver' called you (but didn't), still process the cost, and then refuse (argue) to give a refund. Awful. Awful. Awful business. (Still arguing with them for a take away on Sat, and it's now Wed)

Bland food, orders wrong not once not twice but three time. Poor service, 30 min wait for correct food to be delivered. Won't be back 👎

Probably the best chinese food I have ever eaten outside of China. However the take away has been let down by the astronomical £4 delivery charge, and we don't live very far away. I would use them again and probably order at least 3 family meals a week if they reduced the delivery charge to a more competitive level.

One of the beat chinese I’ve had in a long time. Ordered chicken Katsu, chilli cruspy chicken but the star was the beef in Szechuan Sauce. Highly recommend this place.

Being waitng well over 2 hrs for our food. Notification received just stating order delayed. Noone answering the phone.

The food and service used to be amazing but in the last two orders it has really gone down hill. The food was over an hour late today. The justeat app said it was out for delivery and when we called them 20 mins later they said he just left. 30 mins later the food arrived. Food quality poor. Why was there pineapple in the chicken satay! Wouldn't use again

What can I say, best around. Never had an issue with this takeaway, good portions, always early and hot.

Had previously avoided ordering from here as it had gone down hill BUT decided to give it another chance to support a local business and glad we did. The food was delivered early. The driver was very friendly and checked the order was correct before he left it with us. The food all tasted fresh and was piping hot. They catered to specific request to leave an ingredient out of a dish. All tasted really good. Would definitely order again.

Placed and order through just eat 2hours ago.Called twice and we were told “ driver on their way”, and “we’re very busy tonight”.. totally unacceptable. Just got delivered but service is shocking.WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN.Totally unreliable and no effort to make things right.

Only a 2 star as the delivery was fast. Katsu curry may as well have been watery gravy, chips were soggy and rice was hard. Almost like it all came out of a microwave. Won’t be ordering again

Chow mein was dry and sooo tasteless, barely any onion in it and the chips were undercooked. We paid for prawn crackers and they were so stale. We called and asked for fresh, the lady on the phone was so rude and over an hour and half later and 3 phone calls.. some fresh ones arrived.. they were still stale. I called again and they forwarded the call. Won’t be using again.

Having used another local takeaway for 20 years we were let down and had heard good things about Top Wok (despite the reviews). So glad we gave them a try as the food was excellent and delivered super quickly. Portion sizes were large and all food was hot. Will definitely be using again.

Ordered crispy chilli chicken, which wasn't crispy, Malaysian chicken satay which was salty and plain chow mein which was ok. It was edible but unfortunately wouldn't order from them again. Delivery was very quick though.

Would give 0 but I can't!!! Ordered food then called and asked to add an extra item was told no ! Then after waiting over an hour for food to turn up they cancelled order ! Call them back and they say we couldn't add the extra item so we just cancel!?!? Then after asking why they didn't call me to confirm they say if we no want to send food we don't!?!? What business dose this !?!?!? Terrible service P.S sign on window states free delivery within 3 miles i like 1.5 they charge ! Menu prices are completely different to their website not uber eats or just eat their own website!

Terrible! Ordered via uber eats. This is a review of the restaurant not uber eats lol. I ordered sweet and sour prawn balls, been craving them for months! Order arrives with chicken balls instead. I called the restaurant thinking it was a genuine mistake, they said they haven't done prawn balls for a long time and maybe someone called me to tell me this. Hmmm, no they didn't! Was not even offered refund for the difference in price between the dishes although in this situation I would have expected a full refund for the whole dish. Meanwhile, the guy continues repeating he'll speak to his manager. I said you go and do that then call me back as the rest of my food is getting cold..... he continues to talk. I bet I don't get a call back. What if I was a pescatarian and bit into a chicken ball thinking it'll be prawn??!! Note to restaurant - update your menu!! Also, call your customers if you want to send a different dish to what they ordered. Note to potential customers - Do not order from this place!!

Love the food, but service needs improving. Ordered my food 1 hour and 20 mins ago and it came with no sweet and sour chicken. This is my fave dish and to not send it out to me...well...out of order!! Tried ringing them but just an automated voice saying they have noone to take the call.

First time ordering from here. Food arrived after an hour, we do live 15-20min away from the location of it. Food was still hot and is one of the best Chinese's I've had! Will order from here again!

Terrible service, ordered £50 worth of food for wifes birthday on 24th April. Order was made online giving a 55minute wait time. After 70minutes I called to chase to be told it would be leaving in the next 10minutes and be with us within half an hour. I called to chase a second time 40minutes after to be told it was just leaving. This was over two hours after ordering, making it 90minutes later than expected by which time it was 21:10. I asked to cancel the order and to be given a refund, the gentleman took my card details and still no refund, 10 days later Advice to anyone, steer clear of this place. Very dishonest or at least be vigilant with them.

Slightly apprehensive reading some of the reviews but had a personal recommendation. Ordered at 6:45 and was told food would be ready an hour later - which it was. Good quality, lots of meat in dishes and really friendly service. We collected as delivery was advised at 2 hours wait.

I have just had a takeaway delivered and l must admit l was worried due to the reviews on here. I had king prawns, honey spare ribs, katsu curry and rice, they threw in prawn crackers free. This was all superb and very fresh, will definitely order from here again.

Cold, Soggy, No taste, thanks to God we got a bottle of Soya Sauce...! Because we needed it... Food dry, Nasty, Evil, Yuck....! Never ever ever ever using this company again. Just Eat should re-advertise this restaurant as "DONT GO THERE"........!!!!!!

This must be one of the worst places I've ever had a take away from. Ordered online as menu seemed nice enen tough some reviews where not that good but it all seemed to be with delivery orders taking a long time. When I walked in I wished I had not prepaid online. The place looked filthy! Had no choice than to pick my food up. At home we dished up some of the food and it seemed ok. When we opened the green chicken curry we where hit by an awful smell, and the taste was even worse, it went straight in the bin. I would not waste any money on that place again food was terrible!

We’ve ordered from Top Wok a number of times. We tend to order online as there’s normally a 10% discount. The food has always been delivered on time or a little earlier than stated and is nice and hot. It’s consistently good quality at a reasonable price. They often throw in a free bag of prawn crackers, which is much appreciated.

Ultra efficient on line ordering, followed by a rapid delivery service. All dishes are cooked to perfection and come in convenient containers. Enjoy a perfect Chinese cuisine in you own home at value for money pricing.

Awful. The food was bland and dry, the veg stir fry was mush and the chicken was rubber. The food was cold and had zero sauce that it was meant to come with. I ordered five dishes I ate a few mouthfuls and binned the whole lot. The only thing edible was the prawn crackers. I've read all reviews on here and can only assume the ones from the local guide are fake, I've looked up the so called local guide company and it doesn't exist, so I am guessing it's the owners. And all the other good ones must be from the owners s well. My only regret is that I didn't read them first.

While working by Woking and staying overnight at a bed and breakfast, decided to try a local chinese takeaway. Local was the Top Wok which was only 2 minutes walk away. Turned up at the takeaway and checked out the menu. Decided to try the singapore chow mein with a tub of sweet and sour sauce, this come to £7.80. Took the food back to my room and placed it in front of the tv and used my chopsticks and spoon to eat while watching tv. Well, my expectation was not high as the takeaway seemed half prepared in the front of shop but dont let that put you off as my food was very good. The singapore chow mein was lovely and spicy along with the sweet and sour sauce which complimented the heat of the noodles. Really enjoyed my takeaway thanks 😊

Top Wok has always been rather slow to deliver but in the past months, it has taken on average over 2 hours to deliver (2 hours 30 minutes most recently). Staff are rude when you call to ask (politely on the first two calls) where your order is, manager can’t ever be bothered to speak to you when you want to complain. Food ok, nothing special, expensive for portion sizes. Wouldn’t bother using again.

Had a takeaway meal from here. Despite pre-ordering through Hungry House, they were still 25 minutes late. That was the least of our problems...We had ordered the Mixed Dim Sum starter to try as we'd never had this before. When I opened the dish, I thought it all looked a bit odd and when I bit into one of them and took several chews of it, I realised straight away something was very wrong. I spat it out and told my daughter not to touch hers. Upon inspection, we could clearly see it was completely raw. It was bright pink and stank. Long story short, when the food was returned to the restaurant, they agreed it was raw chicken and said their steamer wasn't working properly. Finally, they refunded the cost of our meal but the way this was handled by Top Wok was very upsetting and humiliating. Do not eat here!!!

Order took 2 and a half hours to deliver. Offered £10 cash refund and told the driver would pass the refund to me with my order, he didn’t. Food barely lukewarm, tasteless, portion sizes tiny, staff rude. Avoid at all costs. Owner not available to talk to me about order as I wanted to find out why my past couple of orders took over 2 hours to deliver. Still none the wiser. Will be going elsewhere in the future.

***AVOID*** DO NOT GET DELIVERY UNLESS YOU WANT A DELIVERH DRIVER HAVING A GO AT YOU!! Delivery came but worst delivery driver ever! Proceeded to have a go at me in the street as apparently she had been knocking on my door for half an hour (that's a lie) and be calling (no calls came through!) Called to complain - they couldn't care less!

We have had many Chineses from different places, but this is excellent and is now our place to order are takeaways from. The delivery times are fast as well and always polite.

Awful - they promise one delivery time then change it to up to 2 hours! I am a regular customer but that makes no difference. I would not mind if at the time of placing the order, they would tell you it could be 90 mins or 2 hours before they can deliver but they don't and allow you to choose whether or not to place the order with them. They provide with an estimated 45-60 mins, take your order and then text you to say they have revised the delivery time. This is now the fifth time this restaurant has done this to me so I will no longer order from them. Do yourself a favour and find another place to give your business to.

Normally have good meal from here .tonights was inedible had a really odd taste like days old burnt oil also smelled like it left weird greasy film in mouth, curry had no flavour other than this odd oily taste ended up in bin and got my son pizza instead .very dissapointed

Awful service! Totally overrated both online and on Hungry House. Waited 2 hours for a simple food order before enquiring. No answer to phone - Hungry House confirmed that our order had not even left the kitchen yet! No note, message or explanation either. Very disappointed to be left hungry for so long, before having to make alternative plans late on a Saturday night. Not worth the trouble and inconvenience!

Ordered take for 2 at 7.15 on a Friday evening. Said it would arrive at 8.20, it did not arrive at my house until 9.50. Could not get though on the phone. No communication. Never using again.

We ordered a takeaway tonight and waited nearly 1hr45 for delivery when delivery was supposed to be without an hour with no communication. When our order arrived the delivery lady parked next door and decided to walk across our flower bed. On questioning her why she did that she said i parked over there (you should have walked round). We have been using you for a while. Our last order was missing a dish and again took over the delivery time.

I've had orders with Top Wok several times & have always been pleased with their food. I tend to order enough for a handful of meals to make it more worthwhile.

Delivered wrong item and they wouldn't refund item. The dish that arrived was full pineapple which we don't like and was told we should have ordered it without pineapple. In the description PINEAPPLE ISN'T LISTED so how can you ask for it without if you don't know it's in there? We ordered via a take away site and they verified that pineapple wasn't listed in their description. Straight in the bin, £8 out of our pocket wasted. Very bad!!!

Delivery time to come was 20:40 arrived at 21:05 and food was cold! Ordered before and never had a problem! This time was stupid! Will not been ordering from you again.

Always good food. Almost always delivered before agreed time but never late. Drivers are always happy and polite. I rarely order pizza from anywhere else.

Though the food that arrived was good the service was horrendous. After ordering we revived a time for delivery. An a hour and a half after this time we called to ask where it was, we were given a list of changing excuses. After even more time the food finally arrived, however it was missing the chicken balls. We called up and we're told they were now on their way, but they never arrived. Good food, aweful service.

The food was great, but was delivered over an hour later than the estimated delivery time as the driver couldnt find the address. When he eventually got here he insisted my address must be wrong, even when i showed him it coming up on maps on my phone. when i phoned the restraunt they just said they would try to get hold of him and didnt know what to do but would get back to me, which they never did.

Food came on time. Chicken balls were burnt.chips were soggy as were the spring rolls. Special chow mein was burnt. Overall it was the worst Chinese we've had and to top it off the Diet Coke bottle they gave us instead of two cans went flat after about 2 minutes of pouring. AVOID TOP WOK

The food was lovely as always but our order arrived almost an hour later than we were told it would.

We were not expecting the high quality and friendly service that we get from Top Wok. To be honest, it was a bit of a shock that all 3 of us found our meals exceptionally good. We don't go anywhere else for Chinese now.

I enjoyed the food. Arrived very hot with free prawn crackers.
