Overpriced for pizza imo and £3 for garlic sauce. Pizzas went cold quick, maybe warm the plates before bringing out?

We ordered food for takeaway. Everything was cooked fresh, the garlic breads were light fluffy and flaky and the bread was very nice really good flavours of garlic running though these. The pizza and the flavours were fresh and authentic. Really good thin pizzas definitely worth the price

Went out for a birthday meal at top Joe’s this evening, would highly recommend. One of the best pizzas Iv tried 🙌🏼 lovely staff there too xx

My partner and I called on spec today whilst in Narberth. We were nicely greeted and quickly seated. A jug of iced water was served along with drinks list and menus. Our orders for pizza and coffees were taken. In due course the freshly made coffees were served. A few minutes later so we're out pizzas. Made to order and absolutely delicious were both the pepperoni one and fucini ( mushroom) one. This lovely restaurant has plenty of seating, both indoors and outside for the lovely summer months. I would recommend booking in busy periods. There are dog friendly areas outside. Children are welcome. We found close by on street parking. Set in the middle of town this place is must for pizza lovers.

Beautiful restaurant, very cosy with the huge log burner roaring away. Fabulous decor, clean and tidy. Served by a really lovely lady from Zimbabwe, who was kind, helpful and attentive. Food was the best I've had in a long time, pizza was so so delicious as was the pasta 😋🤌 Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Great place to eat with friends or family

Had as takeaway- very good! Only thing I’d say is to change website around ordering more than certain amount of items. We ordered 4 pizzas & garlic bread and when I tried to add dips on it said maximum items reached and to call order through…. So didn’t bother ordering dips- possibly would be more commercial to limit volume of main dishes / sides and make dips etc supernumerary to that?

Fantastic food accompanied by a nice cold Italian beer, enjoyed next to a warm fireplace. Great service, ambience, looking forward to visiting again.

I took my family here last night as we had something special to celerbrate. We were seated, orders taken and then we waited and waited and waited, 45 mins later Garlic bread arrived ( the only side order we ordered ) 25 mins later so 1hour and 10 mins since we sat down , the table behind us arrived after us, ate and left before we even had our food. We began to wonder where on earth our pizzas were, a lady from the kitchen walked past so I asked her how long our food would be, she was incredibly rude, carried on walking and just said "I don't know i don't work out here I'm in the kitchen" I went to the bar and asked how long our food would be, the waitress made some excuse saying the printer hadnt sent our order to the kitchen ( surely she or one of the other waitresses should have realised we were still waiting) food did finally arrive and it was delicious but our evening was ruined by such a long wait and poor service . As we were celebrating we would have spent more money on drinks, dessert etc but we all felt miserable and hungry just waiting so skipped the dessert and extra drinks and asked for our bill, I explained we were unhappy with the service, the lady took 50% of our bill but to be honest it really had nothing to do with money , we were more than happy to pay the prices we just wanted quicker , better service, it was a real let down and I'm afraid we won't be visiting again.

Accommodating for our toddlers meal, but not overly impressed on any of the other meals. My pizza was very limp when I picked it up, the base could have been cooked a little longer. If they were not the only place open we would not have eaten there as it was a little pricey.

We haven’t checked out, with another night to stay, but wanted to comment on Top Joe’s. It’s perfect in all aspects. Rooms, service, food quality and courteous staff. Location is great for access to many parts of the area. Perhaps we should have booked longer. Dog friendly which is also a bonus. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay

We stayed here for a week in september. There was a hitch the 1st night but managment sorted the problems correctly so no all was fine. The rooms are beautifully furnished in wonderful period style. Very well appointed. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Made our stay a real pleasure. Terrific pizzas and pasta dishes. Would definitely stay agsin if in the area.

Superb pizzas! We didn't stay here but just called in for an evening meal. We tried booking a table online but phoned when it suggested it was fully booked. Thankfully, they weren't. The food was promptly served, and both pizzas were truly delicious. I definitely recommend it.

Very large room with good outdoor space, good dinner and nice service

Awful,, and grubby paid for the room after dinner then had an email saying I haven’t paid. and a phone call asking about payment made to feel like a criminal very disappointed

Awful Service, Rude Staff, & Missing Food! We visited on a Tuesday evening & as soon as we arrived I got the impression they were rushed off their feet, even though the place was half empty. They just told us where our table was rather than taking us to sit down & no one explained the specials or asked if we had any questions. Not great, but not the worst thing to happen. The waiter came to take our order, it had been a while & we were ready to order everything, but were asked to just order drinks. We ordered those & also snuck in a few garlic breads to share while we waited. The garlic bread came quick enough & the dough was really really good! They also accommodated adding cheese, which wasn’t on the menu. Really delicious! However, by the time we had finished the garlic bread, our drinks still hadn’t arrived & we still hadn’t been able to order mains. Eventually the drinks arrived & we were able to order our food - 4 pizzas, 3 pastas, 1 side. By the time our food arrived we had been there well over an hour. My pizza was delicious - the flavour was good & the dough was again very tasty! However, they had forgotten 1 of the pasta dishes, got 1 of the pizzas wrong, and we later realised that the side never even turned up! They did whip up a quick pasta & gave a brief apology. When we said about the wrong pizza, we were told ‘With the utmost respect, you asked for the mushroom one’. There were 2 mushroom ones on the menu, so even if that was the case (which it wasn’t) they should have clarified which one. They did take the pizza back though & made the correct one for us pretty quickly. The carbonara was horrid. It got passed around the table, everyone having a try, & was eventually left, but we had eaten too much between us to then complain, so we ordered an extra Margherita instead. Everyone carried on eating while this happened & I’d say overall the remaining dishes were nice. The pizza took so long that everyone had finished & we asked the waiter to instead make the pizza to go (still no sign of it). We waited another 20 mins or so after this, at which point half the party got bored of waiting & left. 2 of us remained behind to collect the pizza. After around another 10 mins I started watching out for a waiter to ask, but no one appeared. I eventually caught sight of a waitress down by the kitchen so I went to ask her. She had her back to me & barely turned around when I spoke to her. She said something to the chef & shrugged at him. While the waitress remained with her back to me, the chef then started trying to shout over her head to me. I had to repeat what I’d originally asked the waitress several times. The chef was then incredibly rude & started shouting at me multiple times that he didn’t know, that wasn’t his job, & that I should have gone to front of house. I wasn’t even speaking to him in the first place! All this time, the waitress remained with her back to me. Not a single shred of trying to help. At this point, we were fed up & left having paid for a pizza & a side that we never received. The only good thing about this place was the dough, which was unfortunately massively overshadowed by the rude & slow service. We certainly won’t be returning & would advise others against visiting!

Best pizza I've had in a long time.

There were possibly 12 people seated in this restaurant. The woman at reception refused to serve us. It was 7:30pm on Tuesday and Open. She was very rude to us saying she didn’t have to explain why she wouldn’t serve us. To give perspective…two well dressed women and one male, all completely sober and friendly (after a lovely day sightseeing), all in early 60’s and hungry after a long day. Not somewhere I would recommend to visit (unless you’re into being abused)

Lovely location and interior design, great fire. The shared starter of charcuterie was delicious and the portions not ungenerous. The pizzas were tasty though rather runny for our taste. Prices reasonable.

How they call themselves top joes is beyond me. The pizza are horrendous, so thin that they devolve into the paper...toppings slide off they there paid to...I'd never recommend top joes to anyone! Island do a better pizza

Found this gem of a Pizza restaurant in Narberth today Good choice of menu, not too expensive. Cosy surroundings and very clean. Pleasant and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our Pizza's will definitely go back.

Had a lovely meal here , the pizza inferno and ravioli special were delicious. Great food and Elena who served us was really friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and come back!

I love the decor in this place. The staff were all so nice and friendly during our visit. I enjoyed my pizza but my boyfriend on the other hand prefers a more deep pan style pizza so he wasn't a huge fan of his pizza. There's a lot of choice when it comes to toppings and a good selection of vegeterian options too

Was booked in for my Dad's 50th however when we arrived soon found out from a member of public that the restaurant was shut leaving us withy no where to go. Very unprofessional for not letting us know

We were pleased to happen upon Top Joes in Narberth as we were really craving some classic Italian pizza. The pizza did not disappoint - it was authentic, well cooked, fresh and tasty. I would have liked to give 3.5 stars ideally as 3 feels a bit low but the service was not fantastic. I totally understand the strain on the hospitality industry at present, however we waited a fair while at the door with no communication at all from the staff despite two ladies clearly seeing us waiting. Our drinks were really quite aggressively put down on our table and generally things felt a bit tense. After around 30 minutes the restaurant seemed to clear out and our waitress seemed to relax a bit and became a lot more polite and smiley which was appreciated I also had to mark down due to wasps being in the bar area. This might seem unfair but I just cannot get on board with any description of "pests" being in an indoor restaurant/bar. I choose to eat inside for a reason and I really don't appreciate being on edge during what should be a leisurely lunch. All in all if takeaway was an option here I would definitely partake as the pizzas were really good and although I wouldn't say no, I would also not rush back to dine in the restaurant 👍

Lovely light crust and tasty classic pizza. Massively understaffed though so the two waitresses were running around like headless chickens. Other annoying thing was that they didn’t have any ice on one of the hottest days of the year! According to the manager the ice machine has been broken for 6 months and they have been buying it each day. We ended up getting our own from the pub down the road. They kindly gave us ours drinks for of charge.

Great pizza, nicely decorated, clean and spacious restaurant. The staff were all amazing apart from one Italian lady who would not allow us to order an extra two Pizzas (at 7pm) for take away after paying over £100 while dining in. They offered a take away service and we also saw other tables receiving take away boxes so felt let down by this request and had no explanation as to why we were not allowed to take some pizza home for those looking after our dogs. Apart from that incident it's was a great dinner and it's a lovely place, so I would recommend.

Unassuming Italian place on Narberth high street, completely exceeded our expectations - run by a friendly Italian family and with a proper Italian chef running the Kitchen, we were blown away to discover a lovely 8 year old bottle of Barolo and excellent home made ravioli on the menu. Yes it is a neighbourhood pizza joint (the pizzas looked great) , but they are also serving up food and wine of real quality for anyone wanting to take their evening to the next level! Keep up the good work, highly recommended :)

Delicious lunch yesterday at Top Joe’s. My husband had what he described as the “best pizza” he’d ever eaten and my perfectly cooked asparagus ravioli with a generous side salad was delicious.

We love going to this restaurant. Very helpful staff and good menu. Love the intimate decor and a real log fire! The courtyard is great for the summer months to eat out.

Our first lunch treat after the ‘firebreak lockdown’ and it could not have exceeded our hopes any further. Billed as Italian, certainly has Italian cuisine. But service could be better. Would be nice to be treated as a person and not - "Sit here, eat and then leave" which was my impression.

Whilst camping @follyfarmwales we popped to Narberth for some lunch not even realising it was Bank Hol Monday and many places I'd found to cater were fully booked! We found this little gem @topjoespizzeria was open and not only gluten free but also dairy free cheese!I ordered the Funghi, a kids pizza with dairy free cheese and ham and my husband ordered the PepperoniWe didn't have to wait too long for our piping hot pizzas to come out! The base was lovely! It wasn't necessarily a freshly made gf base but it was a lovely light one all the same. Not the crackerboard ones you can sometimes find! The dairy free cheese was lovely no over powering flavour and quite similar in taste to mozzarella. On a covid side note they had a one way system and someone greeting you at the door with a table stopping anybody walking in, which worked brilliantly! Plenty of space between each table also.Service was fab and all the waitresses were very friendly and took our allergies and intolerances very seriously and make clear notes of each.

Staying in the boutique B&B upstairs. We shared a garlic bread with cheese which was a pizza base, then we had a bolognese which was delicious.

We popped in for lunch and had a pizza and a pasta dish. Very tasty and delicious! This is fine dining Italian style at its best x

I took my 3 boys here while staying in Narberth and we ate a variety of pasta and pizzas, which were clearly freshly made and very tasty. I have had worse pizza in Italy!2 courses with soft drinks for 4 people cost us around £75.We liked it so much we went back the following day!One small point - the mozzarella in my caprese salad was much too chewy. Other than that, all the food was excellent. N.B. if you are there at a busy time, you may need to book in advance.

This pizzeria is interesting and recommended because it provides good value, tasty food and the staff are simply exceptionally friendly and efficient.

Not as good as it looks i was surprisingly let down by the food being lukewarm and service took ages .

Went here last night with my family (4 of us) and Food was quite nice actually although also quite over priced considering the portions weren't huge and bread was burnt all over. Also, it was quite concerning to us that they failed to adhere to the social distancing guidelines as we were not asked for any details for track and trace other than our reservation name. Also there was no social distancing inside the restaurant as we were surrounded by other tables of people very close to us as well.

We just had a pizza each and they were amazing. The ladies who served us were very friendly and helpful. I asked for artichoke on my pizza and that was met with “of course” and a smile. Very nice decor. The only slight criticism is that we would have had starters but 2 were bread based and 2 were charcuterie/meat so not for us.

What a place. WE had wonderful service - adhered to COVID rules. Staff were friendly and professional. It's dog friendly too. I had an amazing veggie pizza, it was freshly cook and tasted superb.

We live quite close to Narberth so have previously had a good experience here with good coffee and delicious ravioli and pizzas. Sadly not last Monday when, having praised the place up, we joined some really close visiting friends who we hadn't seen for ages. Oh dear, firstly the waitress nonchalantly told us there was no coffee, apparently the hot water machine wasn't working, no apology. I then asked for the specials board and was bluntly told that there weren't any today. We all ordered pizzas which arrived over an hour later again with no apology for the delay, they were as previously mentioned soggy in the middle. When we had nearly finished our meals the waitress asked if everything was ok, a bit late I'd say. Please Joe take note of these comments, you could be first class. I know times are difficult but it would be better to open just for drinks on the days you don't have your brilliant chef than get these occasional bad reviews, perhaps just close on one or two days. I want to be able to give a 5* review next time so get your act together please!

Really impressed by Top Joes. We started with garlic bread and bread and olives, both of which were delicious. Our pizzas were great too. Some different toppings, highly recommend the Zucchini. The wait staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely go back.

We went to Top Joe’s without a booking as unfortunately our original choice was fully booked for a weekday lunch, but had a friendly welcome and quick service. There had been care taken with Covid precautions including a one-way system and our table was seated comfortably apart. Our meals arrived promptly and were tasty- inferno and prosciutto pizzas with plenty of toppings and an authentic base. The children’s portion of Bolognese was a good size and enjoyed by our boys. A lovely place to ‘eat out to help out’ and as delicious as the food we had in Sorrento.

Just to the narbeth branch, asked if they do takeaways was answered with "Yes but not now too busy" no "be about an hour" nothing basically just "f" off dont need your custom

We stayed in Narbeth for a few days, and used Top Joes for a takeaway, due to the Welsh CoVID restrictions.We all really enjoyed the pizzas, and our order of 3 pizzas & a garlic bread was more than enough for a family of four - great value.My wife found the staff really helpful and pleasant, so we would definitely use again.

to gather and enjoy pizzas with friends when on a gluten free and vegetarian diet is quite a treat. the pizzas are delicious, the crust is the best gluten free one i've eaten, lovely wood oven flavours and good side salads and extras..love the chilli oil.

We’ve been meaning to drop in here for ages, and finally took the plunge. An enthusiastic welcome from front of house was encouraging, and we were shown to a table for two — less encouragingly sited next to a table containing three quite noisy children. Luckily they were nearly finished.A chalkboard offered a choice of ravioli dishes, but we were there for pizza. The menu offers maybe a dozen choices, and they didn’t disappoint. Bases had an irresistible chew and an authentic char. Toppings range from the basic — Marinara and Marguerite — to the more exotic, including one with wild boar and chilli.A bottle of a delicious Pinot Grigio for a pretty reasonable £19 rounded off an excellent lunch.Narberth is beginning to dig a hole for itself in providing difficult choices. Do you spend your lunch money here or over the road at the equally excellent Madtom? Or a few yards in the other direction at Ultracomida?For me it’ll have to be a case of table rotation . . . And then start again at the beginning.

Love these pizzas and tell everybody how they are great and one of the best places to eat in Narberth......... until this week. Pizza was soggy in the middle, sauce looked like tinned tomatoes, vegan cheese was inedible, the single staff member was over stretched and super stressed. Heard lots of other disgruntled customers muttering too. My daughter sent her pizza back. I hope the next time I go I am more impressed.

We arrived at the restaurant, which was empty. We had a party of 6 adults and 3 kids. Pizzas took over an hour to arrive! Kids pizzas came first. They had finished their food before the adults food arrived!The pizzas were lovely, but I cannot understand how they could take so long!

Nice pizzeria in Narberth. Friendly staff and nice tasty pizzas. I had a Funghi pizza with mixed salad, which was very nice. I washed it down with a nice glass of Sangiovese. A very enjoyable evening.

Best pizza and garlic bread the world has ever eaten

Having had pizza in New York, Chicago and Italy, I’ve got to say the pizza here was fantastic. Perfect size, lovely stone baked base and beautiful toppings (Inferno Pizza....perfectly spiced). Had a lovely bottle of wine too. Highly recommended!!

We were out for a family trip and walked in without booking.6 Adults and two children.The food was delicious. Had sharing plate and extras for starters and then 3 pizzas between us. All fresh and hot. Very tasty bases. Lots of toppings to choose from.The bread with the starters was to die for. We wanted to buy a loaf to go, but they don't make enough. Pity.Wish it was closer to us. Narberth is a great town in general . . And this is an added bonus.

Had our biker women (WUAR) Xmas night out here. Have to say the food was lovely as usual. Everyone was served at the same time and the staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely cosy restaurant with nice ambient lighting. Will definitely be visiting again

Visited on a wet Tuesday afternoon. Quite busy but seated quickly by welcoming staff. Order pizzas,salad and drinks. Pizzas absolutely delicious,as was the salad. Attentive staff but not overdone. Service excellent and price reasonable. Will definitely return

The pizzas were out of this world and would recommend anyone to go for the pizza, however would recommend not to have the garlic bread. Far too much garlic, actually not enjoyable because of this. Shame. Pizzas were great!

My wife and I had a lovely meal in Top Joes with great service and an inviting atmosphere. Simple food done very well and at a price which doesn’t leave you disappointed. The options were great, even my wife not eating cheese could order. The sharing antipasti platter was delicious and massive. We loved the wood fire crackling in the background. Will certainly visit again next time we are in Narberth.

Ate here early last Saturday evening. Despite the hour really quite busy - always a good sign. Nice place, clean, pleasant decor, attentive staff. Food good, unfussy, not pretentious, well prepared. Delicious seafood ravioli in sage butter starter followed by one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. It was all about the food. Recommended.
