We travelled from Fife to try the food here, when the staff learned this, they let us try the fried chicken, oh my days, it was tender and juicy, lovely and tasty, they let us try some of the chips before our food was ready aswell, they were delicious, my partner had a special fish supper the fish was freshly cooked, and tasted fantastic, I had a king rib supper, the king rib was delicious again freshly cooked, our food wasn't greasy, the service was wonderful, all the staff seemed really happy, seemed like a real team who had a great bond, well done on all your awards again, they are very well deserved, have a fantastic Christmas and all the best for the new year ahead, from Katie and Ross from FIFE (not falkirk) lol.

I travelled all the way from Tasmania, Australia to try this Chippy and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful, went out of there way to make us feel welcome! The Fish supper was to die for, never had Pizza crunch but all I can say is wow, the sausage, haggis rolls and fried chicken were amazeballz, and to top it off with that curry sauce, unbelievable 😋 Thanks again, fully recommend and you won't be disappointed with the food nor the price!

This place was recommended to me as the best fish and chips in the west of Scotland and I was not disappointed. The fish and chips were excellent and the staff were friendly.

1st time trying this chippy after seeing it on tik tok traveled from stirling food was amazing so we're the staff definitely be bac in the future

2nd time of visiting Tony’s. I’ll be honest I’m a little sceptical of TikTok famous places and the likes as they never actually live up to the hype…but Tony’s is the real deal! Seriously! The staff are amazing and super welcoming, and even offer out samples to try (see the fried chicken below) The fish is spectacular. You actually get fish… good wholesome fish. Not hiding away in plethora of batter, actual fish. The batter is crispy and light but also lets the fish be the star of the show. The chips are perfectly cooked and everything you want it to be. Now we need to talk about the southern fried chicken. Wow. Wow. Easily the best fried chicken I’ve had. Imagine KFC and how you want KFC to be? It never lives up to the expectations and leaves you sad and unhappy? TFC won’t 😂 it’s genuinely the best ever. Words won’t do it justice. Get 2x5 pieces meal with chips, lock yourself in your car and put Celine Dion on and eat the chicken and cry happy tears. 100% be back! Probably tonight 😂

Olympic gold standard chippy.Ive been a chef for over forty years, I have never had fish and chips better than this.The fish batter was crispy and fresh the flesh of the fish was tasty and flakey and came away beautifully .Now I've eaten ,F&C. In some fine restaurants all over the world , Scotts of Mayfair, The Ritz London, just to name a few .The potatoes are Spanish potatoes and make for a beautiful chip.This chippy is well set up and Tony is a great ambassador to our industry,it's a pity I'm in Manchester every time I visit Scotland I endeavour to visit this chippy I've not left a review until now because I wanted to visit at various times to see if the standard was the same on previous visits.Well it was absolutely gold standard!! I've eaten in the 1980s Harry Ramsden when it was a proper chippy with their food cooked in dripping a nice meal but not a patch on Tony's.And also the staff are smart friendly and informative.All there's left to say is Lang may there Lum reek.

Every time I come visit my gran in Coatbridge we get Tony’s. We love the special fish, always tastes amazing and fresh. Tried the southern fried chicken the last time I went which I would definitely recommend, though it was a shame they didn’t have any gravy. But the star of this time’s visit was the mozzarella fritter… Jezo… it was AMAZING, and the BIGGEST mozzarella fritter I have ever seen. Next time I come here I am getting that just for a snack. It honestly tasted so good and was as big as a can of Irn bru. Thank you!!!

Fish cooked on demand, way it should be. Top notch.

This place used to be amazing, the best fish and chips I had ever tasted but they have someone new on the fryer and the food is now NASTY! We all noticed the difference straight away. The fish had far too much batter and was dripping in grease which meant the chips were just a soggy, greasy mess. Before the box was literally grease free but now it's swimming. PLEASE go back to the way it was before!

Been here a couple of times now and the standards don't slip, staff are friendly and attentive and the food is superb, special mention for the spicy haggis it's a must try

Love the fish n chips and the haggis n chips. The staff are friendly n helpful when ever I phone for a home delivery and food is always pipping hot when it’s delivered. I also love there pickled onions yummy 😋

Excellent! Fresh home made chips and a delicious curry sauce. They don't do gravy. They do a lunch menu and dinner menu. Large and small portions available.

We visit Tony's on a regular basis. We have never once been disappointed by our order. Food is always fresh and tastes amazing.

Living close to Tonys its my hubbys favourite place for fish and chips. I don't go in as I hate the waiting times. I know everything cooked fresh but sometimes you can be standing for 30 minutes waiting.....:)

Music playing (& staff singing) on entering the shop gives the place a nice welcoming atmosphere. Chatty, friendly staff and place looks really clean. Chips were lovely too!

Great fish and chip shop. Cooks all to order, so quality is fabulous. None of this products sitting for long time hoping to be bought.

We hired Tony’s van for our firework party on Saturday night.The van was situated at the back of the house and served 60 guests over 2 hours .The quality of the food served from the van was fabulous and the service was also fantastic.The Guys were amazing with the kids and their patter was as good as their fish.Will definently do again and can not recommend highly enough.

Omg... What can I say? The food is amazing and very reasonable for a van... It was like buying the food from the shop at Shawhead! There was not a drop of grease on the container once finished... What you see in the photo is a little residue of vinegar as I asked for extra! I will definitely be back again. Thanks boys for an enjoyable treat night.

Visited today my mum n partners dad fancied fish n chips Pudding supper for my mum both gave their meals 10/10 very large portions mibbees too much for owl codgers .

Absolutely love Tonys, we go there every Friday and today didn’t disappoint! The chips were straight out of the fryer and the fish was cooked as I was waiting. Was in the shop for around 5/10 minutes from placing the order to leaving and can honestly say it was a pleasant experience! Will be back for my 2 fish suppers and half pizza next Friday as always - fabulous!

The best chip shop in the town. The fish n chips are always fresh, friendly staff, also has a phone and collect service. Would recommend this chip shop to anyone.

Tony's is 100% the absolute best chip shop, they are all really nice, genuine folk and they prepare really high quality food. There are little touches that sets them above the rest like using a fryer for chips only and cooking everything fresh, and of course their 1&1 fish supper which is my partner's favourite ever! We go over fairly regularly, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Delicious fish served fresh by a lovely, friendly team of staff. Now offering cod as a choice which I highly recommend. Shop is tucked away in Shawhead but well worth a detour if you're around the Coatbridge / Whifflet area - I'm glad I came across it.
