Just popped in for some lunch. They offered to cook us anything we wanted from the breakfast menu despite it being aftef 13.00. In the end we opted for ploughmans lunches. What can i say.... wonderful fresh salads, lovely cheese and gammon and accompaniments. Together with friendly and attentive staff. We have never been disappointed in all our visits. Highly recommended

I have been coming to Rochester for many years. I loved going to Tony's, but now it's under a different name,so I gave it a try. Great friendly staff. Lovely welcome and a very attentive team.Ordered a pie but actually received a pasty, which was a little disappointing. Tasty chips. Delicious 😋 desert. I will definitely go again.

Always keep clean by staff who are friendly and helpful.Lovely place to sit and relax with a light lunch and drink.

Bought two gypsy tarts from here today. Got them home and they were awful. The filling is still raw, yet somehow managed to tast like burnt sugar. See the photos that show its still raw, stuck to the bag they came in. Disappointing.

Thank you very much to the staff in Lenny’s of Rochester for going above and beyond, and so kind. I visited with an elderly client this afternoon. They were very patient with us when choosing the order. When we wanted to go upstairs to eat, the gentleman, Cameron, that served us, assisted my client up the stairs as my hands were full with our food. Later, when I said to my client that I was going to get her a napkin, a lovely lady/employee (unfortunately did not get her name) brought one over without me asking. Everyone there was patient, kind and welcoming. And the food was lovely too, we both enjoyed!

Absolutely love Lenny's and have been here countless times for lunch, breakfast and cake. Decided to try their wonderful afternoon tea for a Mother's Day treat and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and there was so much of it! We took the leftovers home which was another tasty treat to enjoy in the evening too. The cakes were amazing and we loved being able to choose the sandwich fillings we wanted from their huge selection. Service was great as always. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back soon for another afternoon tea treat! Thank you Lenny's!

Went for afternoon tea and had a lovely selection of food. You get to choose your sandwich fillings you would like from their huge range they do and comes with sausage rolls, lots of cakes and scones with jam and cream. We couldn’t eat it all so they supplied boxes for us to take it home in.

Excellent food and service every time, the staff are extremely nice especially Charlie. Chocolate and pistachio slice is the best. The baguettes, pasty and fries are delicious.

The best place in Rochester for coffee/milkshakes and a catch up. Lovely food too, including a wide range of different cakes, and with quick, friendly service, what more could you want?

Wonderful bakery, pasties are divine and would recommend the Chicken spring rolls and Chicken samosa. Prices are reasonable and price for the cakes is excellent. Staff are polite and friendly.

Lovely cafe (bakery) but the downside is that the cheesecake isn't that great in my opinion, But other than it's a lovely place to have a tea or coffee or a quick bite to eat

A little disappointing to be honest. Perhaps something to do with the new management, perhaps not. My cappuccino was lukewarm at best but the panini was ok. Did receive some friendly service but it's been a long time since I've had a disappointing coffee in the morning In response - I last visited approx 1 yr ago & had a cappuccino & pasty/pie to go which was good - I apologize for making assumptions - In hindsight, I should've requested a replacement coffee - I have readjusted my review to average the experience of both my visits

Ordered takeaway online for collection, instead of dining in on this occasion. Easy process on the website, food well prepared as usual. Well wrapped/bagged so easy to carry home. All the food was tasty. Friendly Staff. Kept informed of order progress and collection time.

A friend took me here the other day for breakfast. I’m the type of person to stick with what I know so I’m glad I decided to go with his place instead of mine. We have breakfast and it was amazing! I had eggs Benedict with bacon, the bacon was just to my liking - crispy instead of rubbery, they accommodated my request for brown bread instead of a muffin and it was absolutely delicious! My friend had a full English and the plate was absolutely huge! Will deffo be coming here again, I’m so glad he took me here. Thank you!

Had tea and fried egg sandwitch with brown bread for two people costing £14 & bought pasties and cakes Firstly brought one white and one brown not bakers bread just shop bought sliced bread ...steak pasties were rock hard filled with potatoes no seasoning tasteless and even the four different cakes and cookie we bought were also lacking any flavour not sure how this is possible with a cake but we couldn't eat any of them. The owner needs to go and taste the food they are selling at extremely high prices and sort this place out ..you have to keep the locals happy to keep in business not just the torists

Visited Tony Lorenzo's yesterday with my mother and wife Found the place friendly and welcoming Had a big breakfast and was very nice washed down with a latte Not sure if the brown bread I had as toast was baked in store but was lovely Was served up by a young lady called Imogen She was very helpful All in all I couldn't fault the please Even had a cheeky cake(belvedian apple slice) to take home from the bakery downstairs

I've been coming here for over 25 years and look forward to doing so for many years to come. Always a friendly atmosphere here and staff always find time to pass the time of day. Food is freshly cooked to order and there is a HUGE choice of fillings for sandwiches/rolls/baguettes/salads to choose from that give other well known sandwich shops a run for their money. Barista made coffee is always spot on and available with oat milk if dairy isn't your thing. (I love their oat milk latte 😍) The stunning choice of cakes and pastries are AMAZING, so a friendly word if you're watching your waistband 😉 There's 2 floors of seating with an area in the second floor furnished with 'comfy chairs and coffee tables' for those not held up by constraints of a lunch hour and perfect for a coffee and cake break. The rest of the seating is plenty and made up with tables and chairs. In short, Tony Lorenzo's takes some beating and I would highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself to a little patisserie indulgence once in a while. 👌

Really love going here, it's always a lovely treat for lunch time. Staff are friendly and they have very competitive prices. Try the cannoli!

Brilliant place to have lunch and a treat ! Atmosphere is very welcoming, and you are put at ease straight away. Staff are very efficient and certainly know their products, the attention and service given from Lidia was second to none, a true asset to Tony Lorenzo's.

I went on Mother’s Day and had a lovey experience on Sunday. I was served by Lidia, she was polite and interactive. The coffee was great to. So thank you and keep it up.

Had a lovely tea cake and cuppa yday. Staff were friendly and food came quick. Naomi, the owner is great and super helpful. Brought lemon cake and a cookie for later that day, 😋 was lovely to have at home with a cuppa. I will be back.

Worst meal I’ve had in a long time, my food was extremely average, could’ve made the same thing at home. After taking a bite from the ‘bbq sausage’ baguette I was extremely unsatisfied, it was literally a sausage cut up with bbq sauce poured over it, not ‘sausage marinated in bbq sauce’ so I thought let me take a sip of the chocolate milkshake at least that’ll be nice; I was wrong, worst tasting chocolate milkshake I’ve ever had, I don’t understand how can you mess up a chocolate milkshake? Tasted like it was used with gone off lumpy milk and hot chocolate powder. I’m not the one to ever leave bad reviews but I will never return to this place, such a let down as I’ve heard good things about it.

Friendly staff and great food. Always our first and only choice for breakfast in Rochester.

Went on a Sunday morning. Got a few bits which were average-ok. Also got 2 custard tarts, which needed a spoon to eat as the pasty was totally soaked and collapsing. Made me think they'd been there a while. Sort of expect something special at TL, but the service was slow and the food nothing special.

One of the best Coronation Chicken baguettes I've ever had. Good coffee. Amazing cake, the lemon caramel slice was delicious. Fantastic staff who were very attentive when the drinks were delayed because it was pretty busy. I'm going to have fun going through the entire menu!

Coffee was great! But the Lorenzo breakfast was very average! the presentation was poor and taste was ok. it didn't have salt on the table and to get some extra toast took 5-10mins at which point the breakfast was cold. Now the halloween cupcake! that was terrible in my opinion not fit for sale (stale) and priced at nearly £4! Would have given this place 2 star but the 1 starsfor the cupcake. the staff at the restaurant were ok! Overpriced, poor quality and rubbish customer experience

They were able to help modify my order which was fantastic and then decided on a carrot cake afterward which was disappointing to say the least; very crunchy due to an overabundance of nuts and felt like it had grainy sand like pieces throughout and harsh sponge texture. Hopefully their other desserts will prove better on my next visit.

I know a lot of people who rave about this place but honestly I can’t get that excited about it – food is okay but nothing more. The service on the other hand is exemplary.

Stopped in for a sandwich, decided to try a piece of the chocolate swirl cake: being a fan of black forest gateau, I absolutely loved it! Staff were friendly, food was quickly delivered to table. Definitely worth coming back!

The staff are nice however when ordering an ice coffee was given a large which I didn't ask for and was essentially tricked as I paid before my drink had even come out. When entering the cafe myself and the person i was with asked to eat in. We were told we could order at either counter. We went to the counter upstairs in which we stood there for a couple of minutes whilst two staff ignored us, we were not greeted and they did not take our order. So we went downstairs to order and after getting our food went back upstairs to sit down. In which the same member of staff who ignored us at the counter then told us that we had to "pay to eat in". To which I replied we had asked to eat in at the downstairs counter, he then said "why did you order downstairs?" which is when I had said "because no one took our order upstairs and we were told we could order at either counter" he then told me the information I had been given was wrong and even said that he did ask us "what did you want to eat" which was a lie. After pointing out that this was in fact not how our interaction transpired as I wouldn't have gone downstairs otherwise he backed off and said "do you know what nevermind" and walked off. We left shortly after because at that point we didn't even want to be there.

Wonderful service! The joyful lady at the counter was so enthusiastic about the pastries I ended up buying three instead of one! Loved it! Gypsy tart was delicious.

Can’t say it was a particularly pleasant experience. I am ‘Gluten Free’, not through choice, despite clearly stating on their menu that gluten-free toasted baguettes were available this was not the case!! My family sat there eating whilst I had nothing, not that it was enjoyable!! The staff had zero customer service skills, one member of staff did not even know what a strawberry tart was, asking my niece if it was chocolate!! Sadly not a place I would recommend!

Great breakfast and all day snack cafe. Staff always professional and friendly. Tony, the celebrated singer himself, mingles with customers and is a lovely permanent feature of historic (City of) Rochester (upon Medway).

Got a few snacks for a picnic and the food was great. Cannot complain at all, plus the staff were absolutely lovely. Greeted upon entry, smiles all round, and very helpful 👍

Quick service and wide choice at reasonable prices. Baked pots and pasties (home made) were good. Sit down area is up some steep steps so those who find stairs a struggle might need to look first. Wide selection of cakes and sandwiches to take away (not tried this time).

Whenever I am out on the road I always make a point to visit a local bakery as these are the best places to go for a good, quick lunch and sometimes a tasty treat too! And I’m so glad I visited Tony Lorenzo’s today!.. The lady who served me was welcoming & friendly, she allowed me some time to choose what I wanted, however as everything looked great, she kindly assisted and I went for a chicken escalope (freshly made) in a baguette. Wow!! What a cracking choice! It was delicious. The chicken was of great quality and the breadcrumb was light. I also had a chorizo roll which was also lovely, but to be honest could have been quite satisfied by the baguette on its own! Grazie Mille for the delicious recommendations and great service, if I find myself back in Rochester I shall certainly return for more!

A great place to eat and discovered they now do afternoon teas, guaranteed to be good..always an excellent choice of patisseries. Lovely staff always welcoming and enthusiastic and remember their regulars even if mot been in a year.

The sprinkle donut and chicken baguette I had from here was awful. The donut was so dense and just fell apart and the chicken baguette just tasted of a poor quality. Ended up throwing it out and getting something else

Can’t complain about the service at all very helpful could sell ice to eskimos but when we got home didn’t have my full order and spent nearly £25 very disappointing end to our bank holiday
