Joined husband for a coffee and cake at Toast this evening, and it was great. Such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were so welcoming. Will definitely be returning again soon, looking forward to trying the breakfasts, and tapas night.

Toast is the perfect balance of funky fun eatery and traditional cafe.. The decor is really cool, lampshades that Pat Butcher would be proud of and wall paper that clashes in a very chic way.. The food is exactly what you want from a morning after breakfast.. with the fluffiest white toast that’s just so delicious you never leave any and really tasty sausages that show they want the best produce for their customers.. And the service is fun and easy with friendly chat and they give a great welcome for dogs too. We were offered doggy sausages free of charge for our 2 little furry companions, which was such a lovely surprise, and a very welcome one for the pups.. haha. Definitely can’t fault this place, definitely recommend it and will definitely be heading back soon.. thank you everyone for the perfect Sunday morning kick start.

Wouldn’t bother unless you want to wait an hour and a half for a bog standard breakfast. Staff continuously tell you ‘40 minute wait’ each time you ask. Not worth the wait.

Came here most recently for the toast tapas after coming several times for breakfast/lunch and it certainly didn’t disappoint! All of the dishes were delicious, staff were super friendly and went above and beyond for customers! Great value for money. Keep your eye out for the next tapas event as I would definitely recommend!

Our usual cafe, in Latchford, was closed so we popped in here on the bounce. Fab! My better half had the eggs benedict and I had the breakfast Naan, . Gorgeous and big enough to sink a battleship. I also enjoyed reading the management's replies to some of the more dubious reviews left on this fine establishment.

Really busy and friendly.I had a full English and my daughter had a club sandwich. The price is on the high side, but the food is really tasty. My issue is that my plate was chipped in 2 places and the little white milk jug for the tea was also severely chipped. My daughters plate had a chip out of it. I think health and safety / hygiene wise that is not acceptable and let the experience down.

We tried this place as it looked nice. Food was pricey which would have been ok if the food was good but it wasn't. It took 25 minutes for two average breakfasts to turn up for £32.

We visited toast between Xmas and new year. Prices were much higher than those found online. We queued for some time to place our order. 4 x breakfast with 2 x drinks each cost over £60. The milk was off which we returned three time. After shaking the milk twice, no apology offered, awkward standing around, a new bottle was opened. Two pupachinos were brought to us by mistake even though we didn’t have a dog with us. Although the food was ok, a little cold, we won’t be returning.

This was a wonderful experience, food was incredibly tasty, drinks were delightful and refreshing, staff were so friendly and accommodating and nothing was to much trouble. We decided to go for the Tapas menu, and we weren't disappointed. I found it very reasonably priced, I've been in many so called fancy places serving similar foods and drinks, and it cost me a lot more than Toast Treats charged me and the food was far more palatable too. We're already planning our next visit, can't wait.

Called in for a takeaway tea whilst I was waiting for my car to be finished. £3.50 for a tea. That’s £3.50 for one teabag, hot water & a splash of milk. I was to embarrassed to say no thank you & walk out after being told how much it was. I’ll say it again, it’s one tea bag, hot water & a splash of milk. £3.50!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I won’t be going back. Staff were friendly, but the price of that takeaway brew . . . wow!

Staff were friendly and very nice and welcoming, We got 2 coffees and they were really nice however paid nearly £10 for a sandwich which ended up being 1 sausage, 1 hash brown and 1 little dish of beans with a side of a singular piece of toast, food was tasty however the price could not be justified for the amount of food on my plate, besides that my friends food was reasonably priced and was very nice :)

August 2023 £14.75 for toasted sandwich and coffee?? Visited for first time last week. Why are your prices so much higher than any other restaurant, cafe, espresso bar etc...I can't think of any other cafe that charges such prices? I just don't think, as you mention in a previous review reply, a 'cost of living crisis' situation is even near to justifying your price - otherwise all others would have similar prices. The ham and cheese (toasted on sough dough bread) sandwich was plenty and nice enough. The coffee fell well below the standard of any espresso bar I have been to, yet you charge more...? This is actually a very nice newly opened coffee shop/cafe, the staff very friendly. A clean place to eat with nice atmosphere. So, it is such a shame that your prices are so high. Neither myself nor family members will return, and we will not recommend this cafe; only because your prices are just extortionately high.

Breakfast was over priced, third of space on plate taken up by three pieces of toast soaked in butter. Poor quality food - two sausages undercooked, two pieces of bacon, one hash brown and a small portion of beans. £14 including a large glass (too big really) of orange. Very disappointed, will not be returning.

Poor quality produce, tasteless and dry. Greasy spoon food at boutique prices. This place is certainly not what they believe to be. The staff are beyond rude, that is of course when they are actually working. Very run down area of town. Avoid!

We went with the kids and the dog in tow. The staff were so very friendly and accommodating. The dog ended up with her picture on the wall and the kids then joined her. Food was great and it’s a good portion size. It’s the third time that we have been and every time has been a great experience. It can get busy but I think that it shows what everyone thinks of the place

went here on tuesday and we found it expensive considering it is in latchford. i had bacon on toast and the bacon was very fatty. the bread was the best thing. prices are more than zalos which is a much better cafe. they wanted £11 for a full english breakfast which is one sausage and one slice of bacon. ridiculous. i dont think that this cafe will stay open for long, especially with the cost of living crisis. wont be going back here..

Came Friday morning for breakfast, staff were really friendly and welcoming. There was an issue with the cooker so there was a delay on food but we weren’t in a rush. Staff apologised for the delay and offered free coffee which was a lovely gesture. Was worth the wait! Coffee and food were delicious, plus it was a very nice atmosphere. (Also got a cake for the road 👌🏼)

Review is for toast treats. I’ve been a fan of toast for a while, lovely coffee, great staff and fab approach to what they do. I’ve seen toast treats develop but as someone who isn’t that into burgers we haven’t eaten there yet! So okay I’m a convert. Chicken burgers are amazing with lovely (salty) fries. Perfect Saturday treat - will book for my son’s 13th birthday! Well done TT team - what you are doing is spot on.

This review is is actually for toast treats, although I’m sure the coffee shop is just as good. Literally just had the spicy burger for the first (but not last) time. Absolutely superb! At one point I forgot to breathe as I couldn’t get it into my mouth quick enough. Gave my wife a giggle.

We’ve always loved going to the Green Dragon but last nights experience was spoilt by the attitude of some of the serving staff. Always had lovely smiley staff previously but not so last night. One young woman was positively unwelcoming and not very friendly. Would always give GD 5 stars before but this spoilt our experience last night.

I used to love this pub but everything is now so average and still expensive. I took the dog and the pub itself is still nice to be in but it's not good enough for the cost. I had a mixed grill £18, no better than anything I'd expect in Weatherspoon's for half that price, dry chicken and rubbery meat reminding me of the old little chef's. The beer was over £6 a pint, there's just no point in going into this pub anymore.
