Tk one in Belfast

Me, my partner and young son come here for breakfast often. The food is very good but the staff are fantastic. In a time were customer service seems to be going downhill in most places, TK One hit the highest of standards. Every staff member is very friendly, accomodating and will go out of their way for you. I rarely write reviews but felt I needed to such as the service you get in this place. Will be back again soon.

Not many options on here for a Veggie, on this occasion I had a tuna panni, as didn't want the veggie stir fry with rice. Panni wasn't great plain & basic, accompanied with soggy garlic cubes not crunch, awful. Hubby had tempera chicken, with soggy cubes, didn't touch them. I asked for mayo got a few sachets that we couldn't open. Service was great. Wont be back

Always call in here when in the neighbourhood. Service and food is always good and very family friendly.

This is definitely my favourite place to go to for breakfast. Kids love the pancakes 🥞 & full fry can’t b faulted 😋. Anytime we pop in, every member of staff is welcoming and friendly. Service is top notch, quick and fresh hot food. Thank you again! 😊

Came here with my wife this morning. I had a large fry. Service was friendly and efficient and staff were very quick to give me a refill of (very good) coffee. The fry was not as greasy as fries often are, and I was particularly impressed with the quality of the black pudding and vegetable roll. I would definitely come back here.

Me and my daughter got a fry each it was ok nothing special. The thing that annoyed me was the length of time we had to wait for the food to arrive.

I have been meaning to write this review for quite a while now and after having another lovely breakfast here I was so impressed by the standard of food, the lovely pleasant and helpful staff I just felt I had to acknowledge this place for its excellence. The food is cooked to a very high standard, I have had lunches dinners as well as breakfasts here and have always been highly satisfied. They are very family and child friendly and nothing is too much trouble to them. The best restaurant on the Andersonstown Road.

Popped in with my wife early on Easter Tuesday for breakfast. Had visited regularly many years ago when working nearby. Ordered the "Mega Breakfast" and it lived up to its name. Had just about everything you could fit on a plate for breakfast. All very tasty and not at all greasy! My wife had the Veggie breakfast - not something you see on many menus and she was equally happy with the portion size and quality of the food. Clearly use good quality ingredients. Nice interior and very helpful and friendly staff. Actually saw one of the staff help a partially sighted customer across the pelican crossing after he had finished his breakfast. 2 breakfasts and tea/coffee for well under £20. Much better value and quality that some of the more "exclusive" places on the nearby Lisburn Road. Well worth the visit!

Comfortable place to eat with very pleasant and accomadating staff. Food is delicious. The sunday dinner is especially good! Recommended

Myself and my partner had a club sandwich with garlic chips and a drink each. Have to say everything tasted really good and fresh, and the price was good too! Staff very friendly and attentive too. Would definitely go back and would recommend.

Recently we have been 3 times for Sunday brunch. Most have had the large fry and one of us had the vegetarian fry- all were amazing. Only negative - they didn’t have any gluten free option- it wasn’t a big issue as I always bring my own bread with me just in case. The staff were so helpful and friendly- will definitely be back

Arrived for lunch on Friday, busy but were able to accommodate 7 of us. Varied menu including specials. Kids menu had a reasonable choice of options. We had ribs, stir fried beef sandwich, mega fry and burgers. Service was a bit slow but food was worth the wait.

We are regular visitors here both for breakfast and lunch.the food is all cooked to order and is very tasty. Have never had to complain. The serving staff are very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend a visit.

Brilliant food and service for my daughters 18th Birthday party. Arrived promptly as agreed and the guy who delivered was very polite and helpful. Food was amazing especially the Lasagne's. Everyone praised the quality and presentation of the food and the price was not hard on the pocket. I would definitely recommend them and will be using their services again. Thanks to them all for making my daughters party so effortless and enjoyable.

Fantastic Eatery that does a generous fry and Superb evening Meal.. Have yet to go there for lunch but I'm sure the choice of menu and Service will be as good as on the other occasions I have been there..

Cuando nos fuimos me di cuenta de que eran sin duda excesivo, la camarera no me da un recibo y en retrospectiva, ella no parecía saber cómo hacer uso de la caja, así que un decepcionante visita! ! !

We go here all the time for breakfast. The Ulster Fry is second to none and they give you free coffee top ups. Other recommendations include the poached eggs and the French toast. It's also not hard to pay.

The food is always freshly cooked and very tasty. Love ordering the stacker pancakes with bacon. Delicious

Went in for something to eat and although the waitress who greeted us was lovely the one who took our order was blunt and was obviously annoyed that we there 35 mins before they close! We ordered a fry and it is to date the worst fry ive ever eaten. When asked if i could get some beans instead of the black pudding (which i dont eat), the waitress said no sorry we cant change it as its complimentary and if we do give u beans instead u will be charged for the beans! Fair enough if its their policy but i think its a rubbish one. It was by a mile the worst fry! The bacon tasted like it was soaked in chemicals. The sausages were rank. Disgusting food

Nothing fancy but good hearty grub. Friendly staff, good menu, some Xmas specials on now including Xmas lattes. Empty when we arrived at 1pm. Staff very friendly . We had a mixture of wraps, sandwiches, chicken goujons and steak sandwiches. Good value.

The staff of TK1 are lovely and very accommodating. I have had a few fry's here and they were lovely & cheap. Portions are good also.

Good honest food at reasonable prices , cooked fresh and never a bad word to say , lovely lunch , pleasant surroundings and very helpful friendly staff . Highly recommended ( and I'm from the other side of town ) well worth a visit 5*

Always a warm welcome no matter if it's for 1 or 6 people but I'm sure they provide for larger party's. The staff have so much time for people and judging by the welcomes, people always return.

I had a delicious breakfast here in June 2016.Good service and good price. Would go back and would recommend.

I love tk one, the food is lovely reasonable priced, never been served a bad meal, staff are lovely welcoming on arrival, very helpful, provide excellent customer service! Would continue to be a regular customer!!!

Hadn't been in a while so went for a Sunday dinner. Despite being one of only two couples in the restaurant we waited a long time for menus and drinks. We had to approach the staff to ask to place our order. The soup was greasy and unappetising and my husband's chicken strip starter looked more like a frozen meal and certainly didn't taste fresh. We both opted for the turkey and ham roast and I couldn't finish mine due to the bad taste. The vegetables were very obviously cooked from frozen and the mash potatoes tasted like they were made up from a packet. We didn't bother to stay for dessert. Very disappointed with the standard of food. It used to be a really great spot and the food was always great. Hopefully it can get back to this.

Best fry in the west,myself and my son go to TK one occasionally. Great food and very friendly service

Have been many times, always for breakfast / brunch. Food is always good - albeit basic. Prepared and served to a good standard.Family atmosphere.Staff have always been very friendly and accommodating.

Having visited here many times over the years I was well prepared for the lengthy wait for my order (all food made from fresh). However my last visit was far from what I expected. Saturday at 11am, met for brunch. Group of 4 so not a large party. We were seated right away however it took a further 15 minutes for a drink order to be taken. When our food eventually arrived (slower than usual) we were informed that part of our order had just arrived from the supplier but that it would be cooked immediately, a week later we are still waiting! We had to ask for cutlery and condiments twice and again no sign of our mushrooms (important part of a fry!).When paying the bill there was no mention nor apology. Now usually we enjoy visiting TK One, the service is excellent however we feel let down on this occasion especially as it was not particularly busy.

went here with my husband for some food as a treat. I also find when I go here the staff are friendly, food is good quality and the atmosphere is great for a date night. We felt we were in our 20's all over again.

Food is nice but what lets TK One down is the service. There never seems to be any organisation with the waiting staff and the kitchen. This always falls on the back of the waiting staff but more times than enough its the poor management in the kitchen. Would be great if you didnt have to wait over an hour for your food

Great restaurant big in the middle of andersonstown great for breakfasts , lunch and whatever you fancy with full bar service And great staff only down side would be that everything is made fresh and to your liking which can cause a bit of a wait so don't go here for fast food go here for great food

When I arrived to the restaurant I was greeted by a very pleasant girl who showed me to my seat and offered me the menu and a drink, she advised me of a new breakfast item on the menu called the MEGA STACK. All I can say is I'm stuffed, and for the very reasonable price of £6.95.

Me and boyfriend went here for lunch, service was excellent and staff very helpful. I had pepper chicken which was nice but not amazing. My boyfriend had the fry which he rated 2 star and did not like as it was very dry.

My second visit here. My friend and I were the last customers of the evening (Tuesday the 23rd) and were just ordering as the other customers were having dessert this made no difference to the staff who couldn't do enough for us and there was no rush for us to leave. My friend had caesar salad which was plentiful, looked fresh and he told me it was the best he'd ever had, I had the roast beef the portion was way too much for me! The meat just fell apart it was that tender, it was cooked to perfection! Great value for money, warm, friendly service, clean and tidy, I just can't find fault! Can't wait to my next visit!! Well done to the staff and thanks for the wonderful experience!

Came in for lunch today (Thursday 21st May at 1:30pm). After placing our orders my friend who I was dining with had to leave unexpectedly for 20 minutes just before the food arrived. I asked could they keep the food warm but instead they made her a fresh meal when she returned. It was a very kind gesture which we greatly appreciated. Lovely food and great service.

Got a few hours on your hands? Go to TK One cause they take forever to serve you and cook your food. Honestly, this place is a waste of money.

Went here for a Sunday dinner and Ive never has worse service. Ordered a starter and main from the sunday lunch menu and waited 20 minutes on a starter which was ok. When we finished the starter we noticed there were people who were coming in after us who had been served both their courses while we still waited on our mains. 30 minutes later we asked the waitress what was going on to be told the chef never received our order due to a 'glich in the till'. This is something the waitresses should have picked up seeing as we were sitting at an empty table for half an hour. When the order was finally put through we were then told the chef had no beef left after 45 minutes of waiting. Never been so disgusted and to top it all off one of the waitresses had asked me to pay £1.25 for a drink which was supposed to be complimentary for our long wait! Somewhere ruined by lack of good staff!

Great Breakfast , friendly staff and good situ , close to all amenities, toilets are clean , from the ulster fry to the cowboy supper all are very appealing.

Came here on recommendation of our taxi man as it was late 9pm we just wanted a nice light dinner. The place was decorated in lovely decorations and had nice Christmas music in the background they showed us the festive menu with Christmas themed food. I thought it was a very nice touch. The lady's who served us were very nice and chatty even thou we were the only ones left in the restaurant they didn't rush us and made us feel welcomed. Food was nice would recommend if looking for bistro food and daytime snacks

Had my Sunday Dinner here and must say the food was Delicious. It was a family gathering so was able to see the different types of meals on a plates the portion sizes where nice and the taste was amazing I myself went for garlic mussels for starter and the oriental style Chicken with Rice for main other family members went for the roast turkey and Beef burgers all food was great only downside was that they have stopped the bring your own drink which was great for those going out for pre drinks so it will no longer be a pre drink spot anymore as other bars in the area still cater for bring your own. Over all food was 100% well chuffed.

I was here during a week night with a few friends, my friends had opted for the lunch menu with meals such as the roast chicken, saute chicken oriental and also what is known as the dirty burger. There was nothing but good reviews about the food, more so about the flavor than the portions (but the portions were big enough for the price).I went for the steak night which is served with onions and mushrooms, a side, sauce and a pint for £11 or so. I ordered the steak med-rare and once it had came out it felt like cutting through butter and again the flavor of the steak resulted in me not needing any sauce for the steak but was better suited for the side.As my friends and I have ate here previously over the past number of years it is great to see the change in decor such as the seats and more particularly the bar which brings a new vibrant, modern and refreshing feel to the restaurant, and as always the waiting staff are a pleasure to be around, they were pleasant and very helpful.Only one criticism with this visit was the wait on food but who am I to complain when been given food with such high flavor.

Got served raw chicken yesterday!! Not acceptable for anyone, least of all when I'm pregnant! Not impressed that they tried to charge money for my replacement meal (a sandwich)!! And to top it all, the service was SO slow. Safe to say I'll not be back. Ridiculous.

Went here with our family. There is a long wait for the food. The food was fine, staff friendly but some of the seats are absolutely disgusting. The chairs are covered in black stains and looks very disgusting. Unable to relax and sit comfortable on chairs like that. Needs sorted. Wouldn't be in a rush back.

come here about once a month, perfect to have a relaxing lunch and catch up with friends. food is always great the frys in particular! staff are always lovely and most of them have been there a long time, they do seem under pressure a lot of the time but probably just as the place is always busy. the only thing that stops it getting 5/5 is there is usually a wait for the food but when you are here for a relaxing lunch you dont mind but should be noted for anyone who is looking for a quick meal

A must place to eat when in west Belfast very easy to find and parkin right at the door. Lovely staff and excellent food no matter what time u want to eat there is always something to suit you from a cup of good irish tea to a warming tasty dinner

I have eaten in this restaurant on numerous occasions and I have to say that every time we go both the service and food are of the highest standard. The food is very fresh and tastes as good as it looks. The staff were also very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

I love this restaurant, the food is always gorgeous and ive sampled the whole menu and the staff cant do enough they are very friendly and warm and excellent with the kids giving books, toys colouring books to keep them entertained even when its busy which is often they still make a point off checking if were enjoying the food or need anything else. I love the buzzy atmosphere here always 5stars in my book cant wait to go again for their beautiful slow roasted beef and homemade peppersauce with homemade chunky chips yumm thank you tk one

I eat here at least once a week. Great food! Home made and is always amazing.. Great value as they have deals on most nights. Can't complain about anything. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Even when I'm making dinner at home I will grab some peppered sauce from TKONE to add and it's always a hit in our house. Definitely recommend TKONE to anyone and everyone. Family friendly restaurant and I never have a problem bringing my son as I know what he's eating is always fresh and good for him.

Me and my partner go to TK ONE all the time. I have to say that everytime we've been it's been absolutely fantastic. The food is always mouth watering. The service is great I mean outstanding and the prices are more than affordable. There cocktails are to die for and u can also bring ur own bottle. This is defo the place to be. Give it a go , u don't no what ur missing !!!

Used this place a lot over the years and cannot believe the fall in standards. It's more a greasy spoon than a restaurant. We are here a few weeks back and my husband had ordered the soup to start. What was presented was supposed to be tomato and basil soup however I have no doubt it was a tin of asda tomato soup with a squeeze of basil paste from a tube (one of those Covent garden ones). As for the mains my husbands "steak" looked tasted and smelt like old boots with lumpy packet pepper sauce served on the side. Clearly reconstituted pepper sauce due to the lumps of dry granules that could be clearly observed. The chips I was given were only about 3/4 cooked and inedible, needless to say we skipped dessert. The staff were pleasant but the food was dire. We paid our bill , left and vowed never to return. This place was always a favourite in the local area but it's just not what it used to be.

My son and I went here for a meal and I ordered a vegetarian pasta, when it arrived I went to eat it and could taste meat. To my horror there was chicken and bacon in the pasta. Being a vegetarian I was not impressed. I complained to the waitress and she said she would take it off the bill, I then said that wasn't good enough as I was disgusted with the fact that I'd just eaten meat and I had taken my son out for a meal which he didn't eat either as we decided we would leave and dine elsewhere. The waitress informed me I'd have to pay for my sons meal as there was nothing wrong with it, I told her that he couldn't finish it due to the problem with my meal and we were just going to dine elsewhere. She still insisted I pay for it, which I thought was a joke, my son never touched it and by means of apology they shouldn't have expected payment. I asked to see the manager and was told he wasn't there, to leave my details and they'd have him call me. In a few days i didn't receive any call so I called the restaurant and a member of staff posed as the management and tried to fob me off. I will never be back to eat here, their customer service is appalling.

I had always been a regular diner at TK One but the service had started to slip. My boyfriend and I went in for our breakfast one morning and there was chewing gum stuck underneath the table which got onto my boyfriends jeans. He told the waitress about it and being in the restaurant business himself knew what the response should have been. He went to pay the bill and was offered no kind of reimbursement for the damage caused to his jeans. He asked to speak to the manager to which the waitress replied "he is not here". He then asked for the managers name so that he could call back and was told "I can't tell you that but I will get him to call you." She never even asked for his contact details. We left the restaurant at this and a friend who was still there heard this waitress blantly calling us names all over the restaurant! We certainly will not be back to TK One which is very disappointing considering the great service we had over the years before this visit.

A favourite in Andersonstown. Wide ranging menu, very friendly staff. Have eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner , all have been excellent.

Ate here with family for sunday brunch. The menu covered all tastes and was very reasonably priced. The staff could not have been more helpful and even though they were very busy nothing was any bother to them. All the food was freshly cooked and came out on warmed plates as all hot food should be served. This restaurant is a little oasis in west Belfast and I highly recommend it. Our 2 grandchildren had a wonderful kids meal so all in all we were delighted.

After reading the negative comment I can only assume that person was in a different restaurant, because greasy spoon is hardly the term I'd use to describe here! I've been eating here with my family since it opened over 12 years ago, the menu accommodates all tastes, very few things are 'deep fried' so guess there's another mistake in that statement too.The girls are all lovely, I haven't a bad word to say about any of them, they're always rushed off their feet and deserve a medal for their hard work! As for the food, yes sometimes you have to wait...but I'd rather wait for fresh food than have quick, crap food ☺️ I love it here, some people obviously like to complain just to have something to do...how sad...

Busy enough greasy spoon nearly everything on the menu is deep fried, could not even class this place as a restaurant. The dtaff are so rude I asked one waitress for a side of sauce for my daughter but it never came, I then proceeded to ask a different staff member who tutted and said it wasn't me who was supposed to get it. They all walk around with permanent scowls on their faces. Wouldn't eat there again if it was free.

Food is always great, the staff are always lovely. You have to wait on your food, but I don't mind because you know at the end of the day the food is served fresh.
