Excellent service. Delicious food. The chorizo in cider was especially moreish. The manager made an excellent recommendation for a sherry to finish with our dessert which was a yummy end to a lovely meal.

A really lovely restaurant with good service. Food was incredible, a taste sensation. Every dish, every mouthful was amazing. The only criticism is the lack of main meat dishes.

Absolutely superb restaurant. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Even though we had a table on a busy Friday night there was no pressure to finish to free up a table. I've been to Tinto Taperia twice now. The first time just me and my husband, the second time I took my parents. The food is fantastic, and the service is incredibly good - especially given how busy the place gets at the weekend. The wine list won't blow you away but it's solid. The desserts were also excellent.

The potato omelet is amazing, anything else is just fine.

Our Spanish group visit to your restaurant last Wednesday was really enjoyable for all. Unfortunately, food poisoning was my reward! Just a couple of hours after returning home I experienced extreme vomiting and a fever, taking more than 24 hours to recover! My suspicion is that the gambas a la plancha was the culprit - time to review your food storage procedures perhaps?

Nice to average place to average place

Went for a birthday celebration and so glad I selected this venue. Food (and cocktails) were delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. There's a very large tapas selection, I had a quite a few fussy eaters in my party, who were all able to find dishes they enjoyed. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill came too...we'd ordered a LOT of food and drinks and were expecting it to cost more. It's a fabulous little place, centrally located and with a really good atmosphere.

100% food for pigs in the barn is more fragrant than your food which is stored for more than 6 days in the refrigerator haaaa and two Pawełs think that it's ok. So, enjoy your meal, little chefs Pawly, and treat your children to this 6-day-old food haaaa. And question haaaa? Why didn't Pawly eat in the kitchen! 100% food was 6 days old haaaaa.

Lovely little restaurant. Was expecting good food but it was amazing. To my surprise, better than I’d had in Madrid 🤯. Decent Amaretto sour cocktail aswell. They also put a candle in a banging Almond tart dessert and sang happy birthday for my other half which made the night. 100% would return

Absolutely delicious. Really great service and lovely overall atmosphere. Couldn’t choose a favourite from all the dishes we got- they were all incredible with good portion sizes.

Fabulous Sunday afternoon spent with friends. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The wine was not overly expensive and the final bill was very reasonable considering the amount we ate and drank! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area but I’d advise to book as it gets very busy (no doubt due to the quality of food and reasonable prices!).

Top tip: this is a very popular little Tapas bar which justifiably gets very busy in the evenings so BOOK! We tried to book earlier in the day and weren’t able to however the restaurant keeps a small number of places for walk-ins. We were fortunate (and persistent!) so after a drink at their bar, Valentino’s, we’re able to get a table for two at 5.15 in a Saturday evening. And it was definitely worth it. Service is attentive, friendly and prompt. Food was absolutely delicious. Unlike tapas bars I’ve been to in the last, all our main choices arrived together which I liked. We had mostly vegetarian choices and the flavour in each packed a punch. Paella is available for a minimum of two diners - waiting times vary and was about 50 minutes when we were there.

Since I live so far from here, this is the first time I came for about a year and a half. It was near perfect last time, the only issue I had previously is that the stairs leading to the toilets were slippy, I almost fell down them. This has now been fixed! Food was delicious as before, prices have risen slightly but that is to be expected, service was lovely. I didn’t talk much to the waitress (I’m not a chatty person) but she was very kind and attentive, and recommended dishes to the table next to mine. Would definitely recommend going here.

From the start of my booking, these guys were very accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure our booking was secured for the time that suited us and also understanding when the public transport let us down, which they kindly moved the table back half and hour to allow us time to arrive. They explained the menu and even offered my wife a separate dietary menu to allow her the ability to choose without risking dietary needs. If ever visiting brighton or you live in brighton, I would HIGHLY recommend Tinto Taperia for authentic tapas. The staff are super friendly and will make you feel welcomed. There are more authentic tapas places in Brighton, but I'd recommend this one for service and fine food.

Great food as ever Little on the pricey side for some of the dishes

I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service, courtesy of Emily. Her attentive and friendly approach truly elevated my dining experience. Emily's insightful recommendations on Spanish cuisine were invaluable, making our meal not just delicious but also an exploration of new flavors. Her warmth and dedication to ensuring our visit was memorable stood out. The ambiance was delightful, complemented by delicious dishes that showcased the essence of Spanish cuisine. I highly commend Emily for her outstanding service, which undoubtedly made our evening remarkable.

This is literally the best food I’ve eaten in Brighton. The starters were fantastic – the shrimp was so tender and had a great bounce, and the squid with tomato sauce was deliciously flavorful. And the seafood paella, I went for "paella de Marisco," and it was a winner. Using fresh ingredients, the just-right texture of the seafood, and the big portion size made it a perfect choice for me and my friend. We were two girls, and the serving size was more than enough for both of us. I also want to highlight the overall experience. The service was excellent – the girl staff was friendly and always ready to help. The restaurant seemed like a local hotspot; many locals, especially after work, come here for a casual meal. One thing to keep in mind is that the seafood paella is made fresh, so it takes about 40 minutes. I'd suggest placing your order as soon as you get in. In the meantime, why not order some small dishes and a glass of wine to enjoy while chatting with your friends? I'm definitely planning to come back to this place when I visit Brighton again.

Tasty tapas, buzzy festive atmosphere on a busy December afternoon

I ate some of the tastiest food ever here while celebrating my birthday. From the moment we arrived we felt really looked after from start to finish. Having lived rural in Andalucia I can highly recommend Tinto Taperia for a truly tasty and traditional dining experience. Definitely returning for more. 👌🏼👏🏼😁

I’m glad we booked, we were the only ones in there one minute, every table was taken 10 minutes later. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. 2 drinks took about 15 min in an empty restaurant. We ordered tapas and it was delicious and generous. We ordered an extra dish but the waitress never placed the order, we didn’t need it anyway. After waiting about 20 minutes we had to ask for a desert menu. The deserts were amazing and worth waiting for. In conclusion I would say book, if you’re going to the Theatre allow enough time , lots of people were sending dishes back or leaving before getting them to get to the theatre, it’s not fair on the restaurant if you haven’t allowed enough time. Everything is cooked fresh to order and takes time. Staff were friendly but I think another server would have helped as they were too busy to be attentive. I would definitely go back , maybe on an afternoon when it’s not so busy.

Visited on the 26th October at 12. 1st impression from the male waiter/manager, not very good, lack of smile and lack of welcoming manner, lack of words. Decorations are nice. When the young waitress turned up and served us, services were very good, she was polite and professional, and helped us choosing a few items on the menu. She is the kind of staff any restaurant needed. Around 5 tables of customers today at lunch service, She seem to be the one doing all the order takings, getting the food from kitchen to table, clearing up tables and checking on us if everything is OK. The male waiter seem to be just walking around???? Food is very good and it's not expensive in today's standard. I would happily to visit again. Chorizo dish was generous, meatball is juicy and tasty, potato dish was a little bland and average, Seafood Paella is very good but just personally, it would be even better with some Mussels added to it. All dishes were generous!

Went with a couple of friends and had a lovely evening. The restaurant was bustling and had a cosy atmosphere. The service was brilliant and the staff took time to chat and make us feel welcome. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Would recommend to anyone who loves tapas.

I gave it 3 stars only because the service was good-ish. The food was absolutely mediocre verging on the dull. Very small portions too, even considering it's a tapas bar. Will not go back. And no, we did not have the paella.

Amazing paella and reasonably priced for the quality

The BEST paella I’ve ever had!! Lovely staff who welcomed us from the start and making us feel welcome. Beautiful sangria, and such tasty food. Paella was so tasty and delicious with tender pieces of sea food and delicious marinated chicken. Waiter aided us in customising the Paella as we wanted chorizo, very helpful, beautiful vibe and all round delicious!

I’ve just been here for a dinner and the food was amazing with so much to choose from. Sadly we were too late to order the paella but it looked and smelled fantastic! The tapas were delicious, along with the cocktails not to mention the churros and ice cream! Service was brilliant, in particular Acer was very helpful and the girl with green mushroom earrings (didn’t catch name!) Lovely place, would highly recommend :)
