An amazing little cafe tucked away in a housing estate in Wycombe. I had the full breakfast, and it was delicious - perfectly cooked, and great quality meat. It was great value and the service was fab. It only seats a few covers, so can get very busy very quickly, but definitely worth it. Can't wait to go back.

Don't be fooled by the low key look and feel of the Tin Kitchen - the food is fabulous!Three friends and I went for a mid week brunch. Only complaint would be for the cafe to have its name on the outside!

I saw a review of Tin Kitchen on a local blog, what a find! It is located in a residential setting near the High Crest Academy and I would definitely not have found it if not prompted to search it out. Outside there is no sign, inside is bright and cheerful but small with only 5 tables, the 3 ladies were cheerful, efficient and professional. They serve breakfast and lunch with traditional cafetière coffee. I had the French toast and coffee for £9, superb. Definitely worth the trip, I will definitely be back, posh toast for me next time.

I've eaten in over 60 countries, and I find myself following a TripAdvisor recommendation to a tiny place in a tiny village way off any beaten path. I'm so glad I stopped. Wonderfully thick, beautifully cooked large serving of French Toast with a plentiful and zesty Raspberry Coulis, with a generous pot of English breakfast tea made the unusual diversion very worthwhile and rewarding.

Me and a couple of mates came here for breakfast. Was quite surprised at the very limited menu. I went for a bacon and egg sandwich. Was quite disappointed to pay over £4 for what was essentially two slices of bread cut in half with bacon and egg. There was no sauce so the lad popped next door to get some. The sandwich was ok at best but definitely not worth the price. Won't be returning.

What an absolute diamond. Like someone picked up a hipster cafe from Shoreditch and dropped it in the middle of suburban housing. Meaning all the best bits of London without the parking problems! Kisstory on the radio was great, the decor was shabby chic to perfection and – of course – the food was excellent. Affordable with nice minimal choice where everything sounds good so it's STILL tough to decide. My baguette was beautifully presented and I loved the chipotle pineapple, what a great idea. Excellent vegetarian options here. Lovely tea set was a nice touch too. My brother had a full english and it was spot on. Friendly, smiley service in a very bright and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely will be going back.

The coffee (filtered) wasnt great, I drank mostly ground coffee but the meal choice I had (salmon was nice). Its also a shame that they dont have baby changing facilities here - please reconsider this and add as its not nice changing your baby on a dirty floor. (We changed her in the car instead)

This place is paying attention to what is important: high-quality coffee is served in a mini French press. Real, fresh, crusty bread, not something out of a plastic bag. The salsa was fresh and obviously home-made. By the time we showed up for lunch at 1.40 pm, they were out of nearly everything, so we just trusted them to serve us "breakfast" where "breakfast" is whatever they had left arranged in a bo-bo mismatched china. Which turned out to be scrambled eggs, salsa and salmon set on a slice of real sourdough for £7. Served by a friendly person and great value for money. The people in the surrounding neighborhood are lucky to have this great little place.

Visited for the second time for breakfast on a Sunday. Managed to fit us in quickly once a table became free, but those arriving after us had to wait a little while; just a sign of its popularity!Lovely relaxed atmosphere inside, almost feels like you're at someone's house for brunch. Lots of natural light and cute mismatched crockery.Food is delicious as expected, and considering how tiny the kitchen is, very quick. We had the scotch pancakes and French toast. Both were lovely, although if you're not ravenous I wouldn't suggest the French toast as its just so huge! Best I've had in a cafe that I can remember. Although there are nearly always people waiting to sit, you don't feel pressured to rush your tea; I'd happily sit for a few hours but that's not fair on others!

I have been going to the tin kitchen for a while now. Never once have I been disappointed. Yes the menu is quite small but so is the business. You cannot expect 3 front of house staff who are also the chefs to be lighting fast. But in my opinion they are not far off. Every time I go, I am greeted with happy smiling faces from all the staff. No matter how busy we are always served in great time. The food standard (considering there are at a max 3 people at one time working there.)is outstanding, the food may as well get a Michelin star in my book. The tables are always clean, the Crockery is always clean, the cutlery is always clean. I mean quite literally it is the best place in my opinion within 100 miles of high Wycombe for the price to quality of food ratio. If your in high Wycombe Tuesday to Sunday, please go and support this amazing business. Once in a while little gems pop up out of nowhere. Beautiful setting but we were not happy! The only thing that was enjoyable was the salad all other food we had was average to poor. Service was ok, nothing special. But the most disappointing thing was that, in times when COVID-19 cases are rising, the restaurant didn’t do any of the government recommendations. I work in hospitality and I did not understand how easy measures were not taken. No track and trace, no distancing. When we were there a group of around 20 people came around talking about a game of cricket (obviously not from the same household) and sat all together, nearly on the top of where we were. Very uncomfortable!

Love Pony Espresso. Warm welcome every time, super coffee, best bacon sandwiches around. The first choice to support local business for quality produce and a warm atmosphere whatever the in, out or takeaway Covid measures! (And great cakes too.)

Outstanding - food was absolutely divine. We stayed over and had to be away early so landlady got up earlier than usual and made us bacon butties and tea and coffee to take with us. Went above and beyond to make us welcome.

so,sadly the wonderful Darlings closes.A wonderful three years with so much good food ,service and ambience. The last night was packed with customers that were so sorry to see the end....feel numb and sad ,and it's the end of an era.....irreplaceable....no where in the area comes close.
