Myself and partner thought we would try this as were in Hamilton, my partner had a breakfast, the fried egg was overcooked and brown and crispy at edges of the egg white, asked to return it for another, egg came and the yolk was shaking like and looked like a jelly (raw) normally i would review giving the benefit of doubt, however I can't do that on this occasion for the reason that when we first went in the owner was very nice to us, lovely service to begin with, such a shame that she didn't want to see what we both could re the egg, We again asked if it could be cooked more, it came back again looking no different, stressed and frustrated at the fact my partner wanted an egg that was neither burnt nor almost raw yolk......the owner came over asking "what is wrong, what is it you want" partner told owner not burnt or raw yolk, owner huffed and puffed away with it and came back with another fried egg, " Is this ok?? And looking at me, not my fried egg as owner was plainly aware of, anyway it was edible, i had brown sourdough toast, too crispy, microwaved scrambled egg, wish I'd known, bacon was nice, we also took away 2 cakes so for 2 people for breakfast etc a fair amount of money spent, as its not fair to middling in price, i wouldn't have minded about the errors with the fried egg up to a point if the owner had admitted the errors and rectified, such a shame and disappointment 😞

Table for 5 and not one complaint. Freshly made curry lentil soup was delicious and my wife was blown away with her garlic mushroom and mozzarella focaccia. Lovely place. Lovely food. Thank you.

Linda and the Team provided us with amazingly tasty platters for our work events over the last week. Lovely sandwiches and wraps, displayed beautifully and with plenty of tasty vegan options to suit our clients. The homemade scones were made to order and absolutely to die for! Especially when topped off with the jam and clotted cream! We will definitely be back!

Had a full breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff are really friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend this place.

I've been in a few times for lunch with my son and friends. You are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The food choices are amazing with different specials and the chef is always so kind to let me go a little off menu 😁. Really good value for money, the cakes are delicious and it's always so clean and tidy. Definitely will be back.

There are scones and then there are scones. The scones served in this establishment are outstanding, up there with the very best in the scone hit parade. We both had a fruit version....warm and crumbly and a generous size. Yummy! Accompanied by an energy boosting flat white and cappuccino (extra shot) this was a perfect start to the day. The service was spot on and a special thanks to the attentive, cheerful and welcoming staff. But I suppose the real star of the morning was the chef who produced those quite wonderful scones!

The lady who owns the shop was extremely helpful in helping us by recommending the soup we had. It was delicious. And together with a toasted half panini or sandwich the good portion of soup was so filling. Plenty of delicious homemade fillings too for your sandwiches. Would definitely go back.

Went to Time for lunch with my brother and mother. Had cappuccino with extra shot- great tasting coffee. We had pasta amatriciana, Chicken Cesar Salad, Black pudding and goats cheese salad-my mum asked to have a poached egg with this and they added without a problem. The food was so fresh and delicious. Mum said it was the best goats cheese she had tasted. We had scones as well, but couldn’t get pictures as they were to good not to finish. The service was amazing as well, and everything reasonably priced

Lovely little deli, the food was so fresh, so tasty and very nicely presented. Staff are lovely and very friendly. They were running low on tomatoes and since the dish I ordered was supposed to have lots of tomatoes in it they asked if I wanted to add something else - I got avacado, delish. Visited here with my mum for a drink and cake. Staff were so welcoming and friendly and even offered recommendations on the cakes. Chocolate orange brownie was delicious!

Food and service are both first class. Can be very noisy at times, especially when very young children present.

Ive seen a couple of reviews saying that it was well priced, £15 plus for 2 coffees and 2 cakes, i don't think so, will not be going back. Well overrated.

Lovely little place for a snack or light bite. Friendly staff, clean and tidy and reasonable prices. Food good and freshly made. Would recommend.

We arrived at Time for a late saturday lunch. It was busy but they quickly cleaned a table for us and immediately took our drinks order. Drinks swiftly followed and we ordered food, two baked potatoes and a ploughmans lunch. The food came quickly and was well presented and fresh. The ploughmans was fantastic with some nice e cheeses, fresh sliced ham, pickles, beetroot, salad, apple, chutney and garlic bread. It was super tasty and filled the spot perfectly. The service was fantastic, polite, professional, warm and friendly. I'd thoroughly recommend Time deli, fab little eatery.

What a lovely warm welcome we were given, all the team were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. Loved my decaf machiato, was beautiful, tasted like real coffee. Do good I needed another one! 😁Roll and sausage was great too. Looking forward to our next visit already.

First time I have been there and I will certainly make a point of going back to sample more of their delicious food. Minestrone soup and fresh date and walnut scone were the best I have ever tasted. Staff were lovely snd welcoming. A million times better food and service than Marks and Spencers. Wish you every success in your business during these tough times.

I adore this place. Go here instead of any other cafe in Hamilton because it is a bloody delight. The staff are so nice and the specials are AMAZING. Went here instead of Dinisi because of how rude the staff were, so from now on Time is our go to! 🙌🙌

Service was good and food lovely

We had been meaning to visit Time before now as the owners Lisa and her mum Linda are familiar to us, wish we had visited sooner. Lisa and her mum are responsible for this cute and welcoming cafe and they should be very proud of themselves! Situated in the town centre of Hamilton, it boasts a prime location, although parking was an issue for us on this day. We had to use the car park across from the nightclub at the bottom cross. We had booked ahead which is advisable as it's a busy little place. They adhered to every current health and safety guideline and it was very clean and sanitary. The biggest part of the menu is the breakfast menu which is served until midday every day but runs all day on Sundays. It boasts a lovely array of dishes for breakfast! The full menu is available to view on their website along with opening and closing times. We ate from the main menu, which although limited, it still consists of the usual staples of soups, sandwiches and baked potatoes with half a dozen choices of fillings for each. Our choices were the homemade minestrone soup and the goats cheese, black pudding and caramelized onion salad. Both were beautiful and arrived about 20 mins into our visit. The only part that surprised me was that the onions came from a jar as I saw the chef scoop them out, I presumed they would also be homemade as so much of the other produce is. Regardless, the salad was melt in the mouth, the goats cheese was perfectly cooked. The soup was full of chunky veg and no additional seasoning was needed. All the little details such as requests of extra onions, extra butter and a pot of mayonnaise were met with no quibbles. Lovely! It's worth noting that Linda bakes the daily scones (always a different mouth watering concoction!) and a lot of the other baked goods on display. Daily specials are also available and they can range from curries to baked eggs. The theme of the cafe is "Time"....whether you have lots of time to sit at your leisure or literally no time and need to grab a takeaway, this superb little cafe can cater to you. The staff are polite and punctual, Lisa came over to say "Hi!" despite being busy which was a nice gesture and appreciated. As a mother daughter duo they really are inspirational in what they've achieved in the 3 years so far, Time has won some "best" regional awards already. It injects Hamilton with that little bit of oomph that is so desperately needed. Toilets immaculate, disabled access, family friendly....everybody friendly! Our bill for a cappuccino, a fruit shoot, a can of 7up, the minestrone soup and the goats cheese salad came to £18.95. I'd love to see some french fries on the menu please 🙏 Please seek out this wee joint as they absolutely deserve all the accreditation. Excellent job Team Time!

Just the best cafe to grab a drink or breakfast, which we do...a lot!!! The staff are always lovely and friendly and they have coped brilliantly with all of the recent changes. Cannot recommend enough.

Had a lovely lunch, very quick & polite service, have used this café/restaurant many times, when coming over to Hamilton from Fife, as visit dentist here, just curious as to why staff not wearing face coverings or any screens in place, as most of our cafés & restaurants in Kirkcaldy are, is there a new science around this?!!!

Service and food quality are superb here. The standard menu is great. We most often come for brunch on a Sunday which is superb. The cakes and scones are amazing too. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff raise Time to another level.

I've been going to Time deli since 2017 when I happened to stumble across it not long after it opened. At that time my son was about 7 months, he is now 3 and we always receive a fabulous welcome from all staff. The food is incredible and I meet friends regularly in here. From the yummy soup and hot meals, to the exquisite flavoured scones and the lovely coffee, we are so lucky to have this on our doorstep.It's easy to see why they win so many awards!

Managed and run by the friendliest folk ever this deli is on my doorstep in central Hamilton and I need go no further. This is an award winning hidden gem!I nearly always go for a breakfast but the lunch menu is equally fresh and fanciful. I highly recommend the Italian Eggs al Sugo with a splash of bacon. Treat yourself to a wee cake afterwards too.A highly rated 5 out of 5 - once you've been you'll be back for more.

We found this place by accident. We didn't know it existed. We had walked past & thought well we will go check it out. The fact they had gluten free & dairy free food & drinks is an absolute win. It can be hard to find good food & although I only ordered soup it was absolutely delicious. I am used to ordering black decaff coffee when out but couldn't believe they had coconut milk, almond milk & soya milk for me to choose from for my coffee. Thank you very much & I will most definitely be back.

We arrived about 10.30am and was quite quiet but got busy very quickly and by hour later all tables were full. Coffee and food were excellent. Was only going to have coffee but when saw scones etc had another coffee and excellent food. Staff very friendly. Will return.

They feed me most days. I recommend the eggs Al sugo.

I was stopping in Hamilton for work and after completing the Training course, on the way back to the Taxi I stopped for lunch. I liked the look of Time on the way past and it seemed very friendly. That it was. Got a really nice "Hello" as I walked in. Sat down and they offered me food (which means I could have just had Coffee - good point). When the Owner gave me the menu she told me about the special, which sounded amazing. The Salmon Bagel. I went for that. It was very tasty!! Really well put together.I then wanted to treat myself to a cake, as I was looking back at the display and they noticed. I had made up my mind, but, the Owner told me about her freshly backed "Cookies & Cream Scones", chatted for a while. When I said I would go for my orginal choice she said that is fine and it is already being sorted ... Wasn't trying to sell me the scones but instead talking about it.When I paid I asked the lovely young lady (didn't get her name) where is easiest to get a taxi and she helped me out. Both her and the Owner were so nice and me, being on my own in a place I didn't know made me feel so much better.

We moved to this area a year ago and Time was next door to where we picked up out keys. We popped in for some lunch and were hooked straight away. The team are so friendly and remember you each time you go in. Great coffee and lovely food including daily specials and freshly baked snacks. We like to go on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch and it's great to see that they use local butcher for their produce. Keep up the good work guys.

Visited Time in Cadzow Street Hamilton

Fresh and delicious food, quality products, beautifully presented. A cool vibe inside (which somehow seems larger than what was expected from the shop frontage) An accessible entrance making it inclusive to all from parents pushing buggies and those with mobility impairments. The decor is lovely with nice touches everywhere including the artful use of colour, light, textures and even the inclusion of the book exchange at the back, all with the timely reminder of time via the clocks! Add to this attentive, friendly and responsive service and it felt like time well spent.

Went here for breakfast a few weeks ago and had to come back. Time Deli has a relaxing and easy going atmosphere, casual industrial steampunk inspired interior decor with great coffee and friendly, helpful staff. I'd recommend trying the Victoria sponge with coffee or if you're looking for something warm, you can't go wrong with a roll and bacon or black pudding with brown sauce.
