Just in Conwy for a few hours and chose this place to have lunch. Was a bit apprehensive as there were only two staff visible - a girl on the coffee machine and a waiter and a number of tables occupied. Needn't have worried, our order was taken quickly and the food arrived about 15 minutes afterwards. We both ordered omelettes and they were huge, garnished with salad and very good chips. (Nothing like good chips to make you cheerful)

This café bar is situated on one of the busiest streets in Conwy, close to the castle, The exterior is appealing and the menu seems good, so we decided to give it a try. I had the Italian Burger and my partner had soup. There is a nice variety of burgers on the menu with some quite original combinations of fillings. The Italian burger was quite tasty and the mozzarella and mushrooms made a nice change but it was seriously let down by the poor floury burger bun which just fell apart in your hand. The soup was a bit tasteless and was again let down by the bread, no crusty roll or brown or granary available. The interior was dark and the service was poor with the place seemingly understaffed and rushed, Several items were forgotten. Overall a disappointing experience.

My wife and I ordered a small breakfast, a sausage on toast sandwich, tea and coffee. I had the sandwich. Tough tasteless sausages I couldn't finish. The small breakfast consisted of bacon, sausage, fried egg, beans and toast in small proportions as required. Tasteless tough sausages, bacon as tough as leather, egg over cooked and hard. Cost £18.80 . The cost is irrelevant if the food is good, but I wouldn't have paid a fiver if I'd had a choice.

Four of us had main meals here. The beef battered cod came with oven chips and mushy peas that come from the large catering cans. It tasted ok but was a bit of a disappointment it cost £10. Two of us had the large all day breakfast. The breakfasts were quite dry and had obviously been pre cooked earlier in the day. The child's pasta course came with the rubbery pre packet grated cheese. Service was fine but our table was at the back and the servers kept leaving the back door open which made it chilly. The interior is nice very much in the vein of Costa. We chose not to go to Costa as we wanted to spend money with local people however I would not visit again. There were plenty of other eateries that were cheaper.

My wife and I visited the Time Cafe Bar for lunch today after a fondly remembered visit last summer. The interior is decorated with clocks and you are left to seat yourself. We were not waiting long for a waitress to take our order despite the fact that the cafe was packed which was good and all the staff were polite. My wife ordered a banana milkshake which came In a milk bottle and was very tasty although my wife's highlight was the bendy straw. For food my wife ordered a chicken club toast stack which came coleslaw and a salad and was altered to personal taste. It was the same option she chose last year and it lived up to the memories. This year I opted for the Time speciality burger which consisted of a homemade quarter pounder on a bun topped with bacon, hash browns, an egg and a slice of black pudding - all served alongside chips and coleslaw. It was delicious too.Our only disappointments were some slight cleanliness issues (may have been related to how busy they were) and some uncomfortable seating,

Knowing Conwy can be busy we decided to just go in the first place where we could see a spare table. We had been in here a few years ago when it was just a normal cafe and enjoyed it so it was worth giving the new owners a chance, and we weren't disappointed. As soon as we walked in the decor was lovely, I've never seen so many clocks on a wall but luckily not ticking. We ordered a panini each, I had goats cheese and onion relish and my wife had chicken and stuffing with cranberry, also some chips and onion rings. There was enough to feed 3/4 of us never mind two. Both panini had enough filling that it was enough for a main meal and the onion relish was home made which made a nice change. The onion rings were also home made and enough of them that we really didn't need the chips, we did manage some of them though. One thing about the onion rings was they were only £3.50 for a massive portion, great value. The service was swift and they made you feel welcome but not overbearing. All this with two pots of tea came to just over £22 so well worth the money. You could spend the same or more elsewhere in Conwy and not be satisfied, I know, we have done it.Well worth a visit and we will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

I'm local to Conwy so have visited the Time cafe on a number of occasions and have always found it quite a pleasant place to eat. However, my last visit changed my opinion due to one waitress in particular I haven't come across there before. On many previous occasions, we were never told where to sit, only told we could sit where we liked, so we entered the cafe and made our way to a table near the centre of the cafe. One waitress saw us before we sat down and smiled and greeted us very politely! She didn't have a problem with us sitting there at all. Once sat a different waitress came over to us and told us to sit at the front of the cafe instead and we did so willingly (no please or thank you was given). We were confused to why we had to move as there was a already a table being occupied near where we were sat (further back even) and throughout our time there she allowed other people to sit in the area we first went to (even on the table we selected at first)? When our food arrived, something I ordered was missing and she made it seem like she had to go out of her way to get me the missing item and didn't seem willing or happy to service us at all. You could tell she just wanted to leave and get home - had no time for the customers at all! She just came across as rude I work within the hospitality industry so I'm normally really patient and understanding when I got out to eat or drink. However, this waitress in particular definitely needs a lesson in hospitality. We did enjoy the food though and we're thankful the other waitress on shift was nice and friendly.

I don't like writing negative reviews, but at the same time I feel I should be honest and recount my experience. I rolled in for breakfast not long after 10am on a Saturday morning after dropping my wife off to participate in a sponsored walk on 01/07/2017. When I arrived the cafe had 3 or 4 other people in, all clearly older (65+) sat at breakfast. After spending close to 10 minutes waiting at my table for somebody to take my order (and after watching another elderly couple enter, be seated and have their order taken I approached the counter to p with the intention of placing my own. A further 4 minutes of standing waiting ( while my presence had been noticed by one of the waitresses) being forced to wait until the waitresses had finished their conversion my order was eventually placed. The food was a mixed experience. The ingredients were of high quality - generously cut rashers of bacon (overcooked and tough) flavourful meaty sausage, a good sized egg with a tasty bright orange yolk with a bowl full (too many really) baked beans that had just been heated through and not cooked. Great ingredients prepared in a way that was a bit of a letdown- even more so when you factor in the price for a small breakfast, (a whisker under £6) and that the place was pretty quiet- the staff weren't rushed off their feet. The WiFi was easy to use and while a welcome feature as the area has a fantastic mobile phone network infrastructure supporting it (you're fine for 4G) which can gobble your data package with ease. Being able to get in a couple of YouTube vids while feeling neglected during my wait made life a little more pleasant. The one thing that will stay with me from this experience is that it was very clear that as I was not one of the pitched to clientele my custom was far less valued.

Everything was very reasonably priced. We order a cream tea special which was delicious, a ham sandwich (which had lovely proper thick cuts of ham) and poached eggs on toast which were cooked to perfection. The bread itself was lovely. My dining companions all loved their food and we decided to go the whole hog and amongst us we sampled the hot chocolate, coffee ( a superb blend! ) fresh cream ( thick, yellow, delicious! ) and .... the sticky toffee and ice cream dessert. No faults with the coffee and cake, although a bit pricey but the staff were rude and couldn't be bothered letting us know what cakes they had.The ladies toilets were really disgusting. I was shocked with the owners response :"you stated in your email that you will not be visiting our cafe again and I can say that's great news for myself and all staff who experienced your exit on Sunday afternoon"I really didn't expect an unprofessional response and bad attitude from the owner and I would certainly now wonder if the toilets are that dirty, if the kitchen is of the same standard!

However as were charged almost £10 over the cost of our meal we were not impressed. Our car park time was now up, but I contacted the manager who admitted we had been overcharged and offered us credit to be used in the next 3 months. My wife stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. Soup and sandwiches were tasty. Excellent assortment of biscuits to go with tea or coffee.

Went to this place after the half marathon and had a French Burger. It was ok but the chips were a bit cold. The family enjoyed their meal. I didn't think the portions were that generous. It is the usual gastro pub fare. I enjoyed my burger and would recommend the place. I think they were a bit busy so Service slightly slow and the waitress was a bit serious.

There are a lot of restaurants/tea rooms to choose from in Conwy. We popped into Time as it looked lovely from the outside and did not disappoint. Friendly staff, massive portions and good food, would have no hesitation in visiting again!!

We went for lunch, my friend had the all day veggie breakfast and I had the gammon, both were very generous portions of really good food. My friend had also ordered a portion of chips and regretted it after seeing the size of the meals. Free wifi too which was very helpful when on holiday with limited phone signal. They also had some really good looking meringues and macarons to take away.

The special of goat's cheese and red onion marmalade panini was very tasty and the salad with it was fresh and tasty. The bacon and brie panini was superb. I wish we weren't so full when we'd finished the sandwiches because the cakes looked great. The staff were lovely.

Popped in for a cream tea before we set off home and wished we hadn't bothered. It was cheap but awful so pointless - the scone was tasteless dry and cold, the jam was revolting and cream not good, the teapot tiny. I guess you pay for what you get.

After walking from Llandudno to Conway, I was in need of refreshment. Leaving my husband to walk back I decided to go into Time. What a delight. A lovely cup of tea with a scrumptious scone with butter, jam and clotted cream served by a very friendly young man. A lovely young lady checked everything was ok with me. Would certainly recommend this place. Seeing meals other people were having also looked fabulous. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed ☕️☕️

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the mushroom soup "special" and was served a grey, cold sludge with mushy white bread. Took one bite and that was it. Luckily my husband had ordered the chicken wrap which he graciously shared with me so I wouldn't starve. When waitress inquired if everything was okay, I told her, she shrugged and said "sorry". That was it. Wasted $7! Wish I had stayed with other tour members because they found awesome places to eat.

On entering this cafe noticed the tables had not been cleared so went outside to find a clean one. We ordered inside at the counter. The drinks were a long time coming and were delivered by a miserable waitress who didn't speak and just put them on the table. Nearly had finished our drinks by the time my wrap arrived. No napkins or cutlery came so had to ask for them. The food was average and nothing special. Would not go again but try somewhere else next time. Clean toilets.

Was in need of a bit of lunch on an efternoon in the area, didn't feel like a main meal but needed more than a light bite. Their burgers fitted the bill, well cooked and well presented with a decent portion of chips and tasty mixed salad.Looks like they had just had a busy lunch time session but quickly cleared a table for us and our food arrived in good time.Friendly chatty staff. All in all a good first visit, will be sure to go again when in Conwy sometime.

We stopped off here as it was a rainy day.We were made very welcome. The menu is varied and value for money. The homemade soup is scrumptious & hot. The choice today was Tomato or Mushroom, I had the tomato with 2 slices of lovely thick slices of brown bread & butter.Hubby had a bacon & egg sandwich with a salad garnish, this not only looked & smelt good he said it tasted good as well. This is waitress service so could take a while when busy but well worth a visit if in the area.

Had lunch here today. When entering we noticed a lot of the tables had not been cleared so went outside and got a table but this needed a wipe down. My daughter went to the counter to order. A waitress came and plonked our drinks down no eye contact or a smile. It seemed to be a long wait for the food. We had wraps and chabbatas with side salad and coleslaw. The food was lovely but the service needs to improve. Toilets needs to be checked more often to be kept clean and tidy. Would not go again but would try somewhere else.

We walked into Conwy and then decided to have lunch ... Time proved to be s great choice. I had an awesome fish finger sandwich on brown bread ... and the bread was terrific. Our 15 year old son has a triple decker club sandwich with a side of fries ... it was very generous and he ate the lot!Our 17 year old daughter had a ciabatta with brie and bacon with a side of fries ... and she ate the lot. My wife had a jacket potato with tuna which she said was very good ... and she ate the lot. So everyone ate well and was satisfied. The service was quick and friendly ... and the bill which included drinks was just under £35 which was good value. Good choice for s family ... well worth a visit.

It may be strange to hear but in this part of Conwy it's difficult to find a place where pushchairs can be go it! Most of the tea rooms and their sitting areas are full! So this was the place with lots of sitting areas and place to keep our pushchair so we got in. It actually took our breath away! Its such an interesting decor! My husband loves clocks and the restaurant is full of interesting clocks of all sizes and types. The staff is very friendly. Food is good, cosy atmosphere. Love it!

When we self cater and are heading home we get out as quickly as possible and head for the nearest supplier thereof. We had been in time cafe earlier in the week for an afternoon drink and decided to go back there. We were 1st in that day and had a very tasty Breakfast. One puzzlement though. Conway is very definitly in Welsh (speaking) Wales, but the menue showed a full English breakfast. Shurley some mistake- Yn sicr maer rehai gangymeriad)

The Post House Restaurant & Barlocation-icon2-4 Llewelyn Avenue The Post House Hotel, Llandudno LL30 2ER WalesAmerican

Just had a one night stay here and it can't be faulted, the rooms were a good size en suite adequate for our stay, The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bar staff (George) was very helpful with recommending a place to eat as the dining room was closed for maintenance at dinner service. The breakfast was of good standard With A selection of cereals unlimited toast etc. The location was just a few minutes walk to the sea front and the bars. We thought there might be a problem with parking but fell lucky and found a space outside the hotel, the other 2 family's with cars found on street parking within a five minute walk away. So all in all a very strees free short break and if you're looking for a very good place close to amenities This is the place to stay..
