Tim Hortons in South Ayrshire

Food was very average for the price. Although advised sitting in, food was served in a brown takeaway bag and takeaway coffee cups. First time in Tim hortons and doubt f I will be back.

Great place, I go every Saturday and Sunday mornings without fail. Friendly staff, good service. Fantastic vanilla latte 👍

I'm sorry, I'm probably just a snob but it really worries me that people eat like this. Poor quality food, atmosphere like a supermarket.

Lovely Atmosphere. Quality Food and Drinks. Girls were so helpful and friendly. One of the cleanest Branch of Tim's I ever visited. Highly Recommended Definitely we will be back when passing by.

My food was fine but mayo on the burger thing. I didn't realise or I would have asked for it without. Lack of milk to top up my coffee My pal sucked something solid through her straw in her iced latte. Which was off putting

Terrible service every time I go there. It can take anywhere between 5 to 10 minute for them to pour your coffee into a cup and serve it to you. It's painful to watch, really. I miss timmies in Canada, so I was excited to see this open a few years ago. I keep going because it's nostalgia for me, but the service is terrible.

Fast good service Food and coffee where excellent and some great deals such as any breakfast £1 if you buy a coffee my breakfast of a fully loaded wrap a hash brown and a coffee was £3.39 😁

Took ages to get my order. Had the coffee made 10 mins before the food was ready. The person working the collection board was totally out of sync with the kitchen. Not the best experience, unfortunately

Coffee and donuts are excellent, other food can be a bit hit or miss.

Love it! The caramel latte I got was amazing and the extra shot of espresso had me buzzing all day! 😆

Took my wife for a drink and a couple of doughnuts. I have visited this place a few times with my daughter and the doughnuts were always soft and tasted as though they were just cooked. Today however they were very dry, as though they were stale. I had six different ones and they all tasted hard and stale. So I went up the road to Asda and bought two nice, fresh soft doughnuts for less than the coast of one stale one from Hortons. Recommend you do the same!!

Stayed across in the Travelodge and thought it would be great to visit the above as it had a good name.... Why... Firstly the server was outside the kitchen door smoking talking to his mate that was cooking inside, then the seating area looked very inviting with tables in cleared and dirty. I found a cleanish table round the back where we sat and had I natcho cheese burger and nacho fries a box of timbits with two coffees......cheese burger looked like it had been microwaved as the bun was soggy , lettuce not been crisp since 2001, and the cheese was all around the wrapper, nach crisps, were soggy tasteless and over priced, the timbits were made four days ago well that's how they tasted, chewy, heavy and again tasteless and the coffee was nothing special but it helped to take away the smell of whatever the chap was spraying on the tables around where we were sitting... Only my findings and how I found the establishment..

One nacho burger, one nacho fries, 2 cappucino coffees, box of 20 mixed timbits (delicious!!❤️) .... £22+ Coffees rotten, burger looks disgusting, tastes cheap n rotten, crinkle fries average. Staff were pleasant. Overall, (apart from wee timbits, 20 @ £7.49) total waste of money. Wouldn't visit again..... EVER!!

Pretty sure the milk in my coffee went out of date the length of time it takes them to make it

Not great coffee and awful dobits

Amazingly, this was my first ever visit to the chain (most folk were in disbelief at that). Situated conveniently next to the Travelodge we were staying at, I managed to pop in a couple of times. I had the pleasure of trying the Crispy Chicken Wrap with a Smore’s Caramel Latte to drink - both were great. I then visited for a Breakfast, ordering their take on a Maccy’s DS&E McMuffin Meal - genuinely thought it was better, in particular the Hash Brown. Price wise, it was definitely cheaper than other leading fast food retailers. Very much a revelation - just a pity they’re not dotted about a bit more in Scotland. Would happily return in the future.

Ayr always quick, friendly service and quiet enough to grab a table.

We popped in for some breakfast, the service was good and quick. The food was very tasty and warm. The self service kiosks were both broken and the menu is too small to read but would recommend!

Best time to go is between 10.30am and 11.00am for the quietest time. Coffee, ice caps and frapps are delicious nevertheless, Greggs and Costa remain far better due to their bigger range, better quality and have friendlier staff!

Looked okay but told nothing for Gluten free and that was it. Very disappointed give a list and only a hash Brown would be possir.

Food is what you expect and its not really designed for 'atmosphere'. Service is terrible though as our order was given to someone else so they obviously didn't check the receipt!

We had 2 lovely hot fresh cheese and ham melts and coffees with a cinnamon bun which was also lovely and fresh staff were pleasant and the service was fast even though it was busy.

Popped in at 11am to sit in for some breakfast. Waited about 15/20 minutes for our order, but we did order the veggie options, so that's average I guess. Food was OK, a bit on the greasy side. The reason for 2 stars? I have no idea what was going on in the kitchen, but we left smelling like we had spent the whole day working in a greasy spoon café.. All our clothes, jackets, hair, bags everything smelled of grease. Disgusting. I think they have to invest in better extraction fans or maybe check that the one the have is working!

Went in for breakfast, service a bit slow, but we ordered the veggie option, so kinda used to it taking longer. Food was ok, a bit greasy though. Why the 2 stars? When we got outside we all smelled like we had been working in a greasy spoon café all day! Our hair, clothes, jackets, bags everything, absolutely disgusting! I think maybe their extraction may need upgrading or a service..? Or is this just normal?

Great food! Best mocha about.. Kate is awesome! Always feel welcomed when coming to the Ayr branch.

Took our grandkids for breakfast without checking the menu and they immediately went for the pancakes with Nutella. All breakfasts are £3.49 so great value. You know the kids have enjoyed themselves when you leave and they’re covered in chocolate. 😂🥳🥳

First time at this chain and was pleasantly surprised with their offerings. Wide ranging menu, settled for a big breakfast wrap and apple caramel fritter. Food was hot and tasty. Restaurant was clean and staff were very friendly.

Fantastic service Came in for a coffee and donut with hubby and my 2 year old. Lovely donuts! Coffee was lovely. Little one enjoyed her donut and strawberry milkshake ! Will definitely be back ! Thank you 6/6/23 - visited again with my 3 year old she tried the vanilla doughnut with sprinkles ans jam inside she approves. I tried a crushed ice caramel coffee and it was amazing Always great service when I come in and to top it all off we got 2 free mugs !

The staff here are great! Aaron is an excellent example to others, he's always friendly and whenever I've seen him interacting with newer staff members, he's super helpful and accommodating.

You know its just a burger joint dont you Well i think you would be wrong. The breakfast meal with the Guatemalan coffee upgrade had to be the nicest burger breakfast I’ve had ever. And its just cops in the USA like doughnuts for breakfast

First ever visit to a Tim Hortons and was impressed. Only 2 order screens so had to wait a couple of minutes (didn't know what was available, so the screen made it easier to choose rather than holding up a line at the counter). Ordered and served in about 10 minutes. Food was fresh, coffee was hot and the strawberry milkshake was "very strawbwrryish" (son's description). 9.30 on a Monday morning, bit too busy but customers coming and going, clean and fresh. Definitely worth another visit
