The Waitress Noor was amazing great lady good service with a smile, very friendly and wow pretty too. Food was nice as always will be back even if it’s just to see our favourite waitress

We eat at Tiffin regularly and always enjoy the food and the banter with Muhammed. This year we decided not to have the traditional turkey dinner with our family. We ordered a takeaway from Tiffin instead. We took the order for 12 of us in on Christmas eve, paid and said we would pick it up at 2.45 on Christmas day. The food was all ready when we collected it. Everything was absolutely spot on. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended. As a restaurant Tiffin isn't licensed, but you can take alcohol in with you if you want, and they don't even charge corkage. Very reasonable prices too.

We go to Tiffin about once a fortnight. The menu is extensive and priced very reasonably. We especially like Mohammed who is very funny and friendly. We always share a joke with him. There are lots of takeaways in and out which no doubt causes a bit of a wait for food, but it is worth the wait. It is not licenced, but you can take your own alcohol and they don't even charge corkage. Highly recommended

Visited Tiffin with my husband for a meal, was a Thursday night around 7.30pm, it was dead in there we were the only 2, my husband made a comment about the marie celeste, Waiter was pleasant enough, we were told there was no alcohol as they weren’t licensed, Fair enough( there goes my glass of wine) ended up with Luke warm tap water, As soon as the food order went in the microwave started pinging, i kid you not, This was a total red flag i knew the food would be either frozen or warmed up either way not a good start, The food appeared husband ordered a madras which he said wasn’t that hot, my prawn bhuna resembled turkey Twizzlers, very chewy, the rice was all clumped together in lumps, The decor was as bad, very dated. I would not recommend to my friends.

There was a total of nine in our party, have to say the food was excellent, no issues whatsoever the hospitality was warm and welcoming, I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews ( mainly related to delivery issues) I would not hesitate to return in the future and intend to do so

It’s a shame to write this review as we have used this takeaway a lot and the food is always lovely but they have lost our custom tonight due to ridiculous delivery wait, ordered at 6pm and it’s now 20:37 still hasn’t turned up was told it had left but delivery driver had multiple delivery’s so now my guess is it will be cold as well as late when it does turn up! Maybe try getting more delivery drivers?

Family birthday celebration, table for 9 people. Service was great and food absolutely fantastic. Will be back again soon.

Our delivery turned up 2.5 hours late!!! Yea that’s right, every time I called was told the driver is on his way, the food was cold and all round poor, service poor just give this a big miss !!!!!

we have ordered from here for months and i can honestly say this is getting worse. Delivery is around 2 hours but at the weekend it was a three hour wait ! food was only warm and no apology to be had. this restaurant makes lovely food and will lose lot of custom if there is no improvement.

been using this takeaway regularly for about 6/7 years. and they're getting worse lately. Food was always excellent, when the order was delivered correctly. Today, we placed a £30+ order at 6pm and expected delivery at 7pm. By 730 we rang to ask, to be told "very busy". We called back at 830 to be told the driver had left and we'd get a call back when the restaurant had spoken to the driver. This didn't happen. So at 9pm we cancelled the order through Just Eat and ordered from elsewhere. If this is how regular clients are treated, won't be going back

45 Mins late minimum plus one meal missing so a further wait. Delivery fella great and apologetic 1st delivery but not 2nd. Both needed putting in microwave and then jalfrezi , the missed order, was then watery. Not the best £32+ I’ve spent.

I got a take out from here and it was absolutely gorgeous. And we ordered loads of food and it was very cheap.

Por lo general, vaya con un grupo familiar numeroso y siempre se sentirá muy bienvenido y nunca tendrá prisa. No venden alcohol, pero hay una licencia fuera de cada lado del restaurante y el personal le proporciona copas de vino / cerveza. Ordered at 8pm st 10:20pm still no food an got told to ring back in 10 minutes. Finally food arrived And guess what stone cold all of it .

Food was 1hr and 15 minutes late. Needed a blast in the micro wave. Ordered usual jalfrezi . Bland not spicy hot and watery .

Went out with the family expecting a nice meal, The gent who served us was to say the least quiet sullen and uninterested, the meal was horrible and the toilets were filthy, never going back, only saving grace was we did not get ill

We have been visiting the Tiffin for a number of years now and never a bad meal or experience. The staff are so welcoming and the food is amazing. Great place to go with children. We are a large family and there is something to suit every one of us, alcohol can be taken in with you although try a glass of lassi as it delicious. Thank you to all the staff another amazing family gathering for us.

I have been a visitor to the TIFFIN for some time now and I cannot tell you that I have never had a bad meal or experience in all my time of going. To the point of every time I go on holiday this is the first thing we do on our return, go the TIFFIN. All the staff are great from Mohamed, to Rubel and Khan. Great food great people. Terry and Jane our Friday night date night.

Visited Tiffin on many occasions food is really tasty and not over priced. Service is always excellent and you can take your own alcohol at no extra charge. Favourite Indian restaurant in Liverpool well worth a visit!

Absolutely shocking. Ordered online £25 worth of food including 8 poppadoms, we received 1 burnt one. Ordered 5 starters received 2 set of meat samosas. Trying get restaurant to admit to fault was the same as talking to a wall. Incoherent employees who fail to see their role as a server, driver or chef. Above all the order was 2 hours late, we received 1/4 of what we paid for and then consequently had to go through just eat to explain how inadequate this establishment is. Self centred, absorbed employees with lack of respect and concern for patrons. Don't bother even googling this restaurant. You are guaranteed to be DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Ordered via just eat. Don't bother. They delivered 1 burnt popadom- 6 ordered and missed 3/4 of the order. Then refused to deliver the original order. We eat Indian meals at least 3 times a month- eat at Michelin starred restaurants , we allow for the price we pay but this is appalling service.

I think the title says it all really - the food was very nice, especially the naga chicken starter, but the service was certainly not with a smile. If you go for the food, then you will not be disappointed, but this place would be highly improved by friendlier service.

Ordered the set meal for one and it arrived 15 minutes before the expected delivery time. The food was excellent and I will be using them again and soon!

The food is amazing and the prices are really good. Although it's only very small and quiet, the take your own alcohol policy makes it even more appealing!

The delivery was late and when it finally arrived the meal was cold, I ordered pilau rice and after I opened it realised it was plain boiled rice. The chicken in the curry was supposed to be marinated (tikka) but had no taste and the meat was really fatty and chewy. It's a shame because I've been here quite a few times but it has defiantly changed and I won't go back again as there are a lot better places what are also cheaper 5 minutes away.

Not as big as I thought inside but was clean and tidy on first appearance. You can take your own drinks in but I was on the hard stuff (7Up!!) but everyone else brought their drinks in with no problems. Whilst ordering our food I asked for another glass for my drink which never came despite them serving other people. The food (I had lamb tikka jalfrezi with pilau rice and keema naan) was certainly top drawer and very tasty plus there was plenty of it. Regarding value for money I thought it was very reasonable and all round was fantastic. But...what let the place down was the fact there was no atmosphere whatsoever and the staff never smiled once and while we were laughing and joking as we ordered our food (between ourselves) I got the impression we were a hindrance at times to the waiter judging by the look on his face.Overall the food and value for money is 5/5 but staff let the score down considering it was a Saturday night too.

We waited slightly longer than what was stated but that is completely understandable due to what day it was! The food came and our delivery driver was very apologetic in which we assured him it was no problem at all. Then we ate. Everything we ordered was actually correct which in other places we have ordered from seems to be very difficult. The quality of the food was incredible. I have ordered food from here a few times to be delivered and I have to say hand on heart, the food and service has been fantastic. Last night, however, I waited 1 1/2 hours for the food to arrive. Even though I called a couple of times to see where the food was, I was informed that the driver was very busy but was assured that the food would still be hot when it arrived.When the driver eventually arrived, the food was cold. I ended up ordering my food from somewhere else.I received no apology and feel badly let down by this restaurant and, unfortunately, will not order from here again.

Great little Indian with a wide range of exotic foods, no bar but you can bring your own drinks, there is a shop right next door. The Tiffin also offer a delivery service which is really handy and also got the delivery driver to give us a lift home. The food is both fresh and tasty, what's not to like.

Booked table for a party of 20. We were made to feel welcome from the get go. Once the food arrived, you could hear a pin drop - the food was simply divine and went down an absolute treat so much so that our group was too busy ravaging the food to have a conversation. From the starters to the main and even the bread, everything was cooked to perfection and with such oustanding flavour. Props to the chef and his team. Good prices, and very friendly waiting staff mean I will be visiting again when I am in the city. Top experience overall

We have been visiting Tiffin for many years now and decided to host a celebration meal for 35 friends there. I knew the food would, as always, be excellent and there would be something on the menu to suit all our guests. Staff excelled, even by their own high standards. Despite everyone ordering À la carte, the food was delivered quickly, freshly cooked and hot. Our guests, many of whom had not visited Tiffin before, have vowed to do so again. A special thanks to Rebul, who despite having left Tiffin for another job, came in on his day off to help out on our special day, Thanks to all the staff and chef who really do deserve the many plaudits recorded here on Trip Advisor. We will be back very soon.

The Tiffin catered for a table of 14 people, all with different orders. Everything came at the same time and was hot and well presented.Staff are very helpful and the menu is large and not expensive compared to most other restaurants serving Indian food.The big bonus and cash saver is being able to bring your own drink, which can be purchased from an off licence situated next door.All in all very good value for money.

Very quiet for a Saturday night. Take away was busy! Substantial menu, tasty food, quick service, reasonably priced and no corkage charge for bring your own plonk/beer :) would definitely go back.

Food is amazing and great value for money. It's bring your own alcohol too which is a big bonus! Staff are friendly and helpful but the atmosphere is very quiet due to the size being very small. We did have a great night still though and created our own atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys lovely Indian food

We went here for a curry one Saturday night. The place was heaving but the service was still great. The food is the best I have eaten from an Indian restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. The off licence next door is in a great spot to be able to pop out and bring in your own booze-makes the whole experience cheaper again. Would definitely recommend this place. Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.

I went to Tiffin with my husband just because we were passing, love Indian food, and were hungry. I was a little put off that the place was empty, I mean, we were the only customer. And the whole time we were there, we were the only customer, eating in and take-away. This was a Thursday evening about 9.00 pm. However, the food was really good. We had popadoms, followed by mixed kebab and onion bharjis and for mains we had vindaloo. All the food was fresh, well presented and very tasty. The service was fine, no complaints there. The added bonus of being able to take our own wine meant the price was a very reasonable £40 for two of us with a couple of soft drinks. The restaurant is well presented and spotless, but the lack of other customers gave it a strange atmosphere. I have no doubt that the location of the restaurant would put some people off, in the middle of a row of shops under the flyer over, but if you are not too fussed about location or atmosphere and love Indian food then I would give it a go.

£50 for sour meat, what a disgrace! We ordered naively for a family meal on sunday night after the football, we ordered 5 meals and 4 of the meals included a Seekh kebab. The food took about 40 mins to arrive which was fine, not to long...Then when we opened our plastic containers the meals seemed bland an all the same colour. The Sheek kebab looked quiet pale compared to previous Seekh kebabs we have had. We understood that every indian is done differently so we all just dug in.... BAD CHOICE.The meat stunk, the Sheek kebab smelt sour like out of date milk. The bread piece in the Chicken chat was hard and chewy, not how it is supposed to be. I would advise anybody thinking of eating here to think again as it will ruin your night and most likely result in you spending some time sitting down on the toilet. £50 including tip is a lot of money for some families to shell out on a takeaway so we were most disappointed with the meal and just couldn't believe how they could serve 'food' like this. Will NEVER return.

Visit Tiffin every week and bring friends who are always Impressed with quality of food and service. Am dismayed with lack of support for this restaurant. Food and service astounding and you can bring your own drinks. No corkage! Parking is easy and free. Visit soon.

Visited and enjoyed meals served in more homely restaurant. Owner also cooks and is committed to ensuring quality at all levels. Ingredients of excellent quality and cooked from fresh. Tasty food. Real bonus being able to bring own drinks, especially with two off licences flanking restaurant. Will be visiting again soon.

I always visit the tiffin due to the excellent food and service. Eat in and take away! Usually in restaurants were you can take your own drinks in, they are full of rowdy drunks, but I've never seen that here. Plus they don't charge a corkage either, unlike other restaurants. The location doesn't appear great cosmetically, as it's virtually underneath the flyover at the rocket at the end of the M62. Don't let this put you off, the place is fab and I will continue to visit there regularly.

We went to the Tiffin for the first time 3 weeks ago I can honestly say it was the best food we have had for a long time Well worth a try ,Don,t know why we had not been before as a local place.We also had a take away again food was just as good Well worth paying the extra instead of having a chippy you will not be disappointed . First got a takeaway in august it was delish ... Tried it again and again delish ... Went for a sit in meal in october I have to say it was weird taking our own drinks but the service and food was amazing infact going again this weekend.... Defo say one of the best iv been to in a long time as we usually go the gulshan or east z east so yes lovely food ... Try it

We have been several times to the establishment. The meals served are very good although I must admit at our last outing (two months ago) it wasn't up to its usual standard. Putting that to one side I feel I should point out that the reason we haven't been of late is because of what's happenening outside The Tiffin...... A man can often be seen begging for money outside the restaurant. Not only that but hordes of youths seem to of made it their local meeting place. On passing last Sunday evening (6th Oct) I observed twenty youths or more surrounding the place - along with the begging man of course. This must be very off putting for Tiffin customers. If the management continue to do nothing whatsoever about this behaviour then They've only got themselves to blame if people simply stop going there.

I recently had takeaway from this resturant i went online because i didnt feel like cooking it was my husbands idea anyway i went on Just Eat, i had no trouble deciding on Tiffin as i have dined here prieviouslywith friends of mine the food was lovely and i liked the idea of taking our own alchohol with us the portion's where far to much to eat so we had it bagged up to take home i had mine the next day. It was the same with the takeaway there was loads of it and we could only eat half of it i can thoroughly reccomened it either dining there or having takeaway.

Best place in Liverpool the food is perfect and the staff are really friendly definatly will go again and will recommend this restaurant to anyone. :)

Visited Tiffen for the second time last night and had a fantastic Indian meal, even better than the first time. The chicken balti was probably the best balti I have ever had. Staff were very friendly and it is resonabley priced. Will 100% returning- it's the best Indian in the city.

Have been driving past this restaurant for over three years and often wondered what it was like for a meal. Well finally stopped and tried it out. About time too, this is a little gem outside the city with plenty of free parking near by. Very clean inside and attentive waiters. All in all a very nice dining experience, keep it up!

Been to many places around the UK and in Liverpool and this our favourite. The food and choices are great, as is the value for money. We are glad this has now become our local.

Not been for a while so delighted that food is even better than previously. Freshly cooked meals made to order for all and the ingredients in the vegetarian meals are quality and so fresh. Naan Bread like a fluffy cloud. All dishes served hot in pristine dishes and bowls by respectful low key waiters. Good luck to Tiffin's new management, We'll be back very soon.

Lovely food and good service but let down by lack of ambience. But judge the restaurant by its good quality food and you will not be disappointed.

We are regulars at this restaurant but hadn't been for some time. We have, however, been back recently and it seems much improved. The menu is varied with lots of choice and the food is very tasty. I agree that the staff are friendly and very attentive. Haven't had a take away from there for some time as we found that the quality of the food wasn't as good as eating in. All in all an excellent restaurant, highly recommended and well worth a visit

First time here but liked the idea of the tapas style menu so that you can try and few dishes you may not normally try. Being able to take your own alcohol makes it a reasonable cost too, would go back.....

We went to Tiffin as some meal vouchers had been bought for us as a present.Have read the other reviews and it was as if we went to a different place.The food was GREAT and the service was GOOD. was a set menu but the waiter talked us through what all the dishes were, asked what kind of spices we liked, hot/medium etc., ALSO asked if we had any allergies to foods - a nice touch - not often asked in restaurants. The food arrived and was plentiful and very very tasty. The waiter had asked if we wanted a pause between courses and was very attentive.Would recommend this restaurant, checked out the main price list and it seemed fair for what you got. It is handy not having to travel into the city centre to get a good curry.But parking is an issue - you have to park in the side roads.

Shoddy shoddy experience when ordering a takeaway. Told it would take over an hour to begin with, only to wait over two hours. Food quality poor, especially given the above-average price, as obviously service was too. Will not be using again and seriously recommend you think twice about ordering from here. Utterly appalling.

We went for a family meal last night with some pre bought vouchers, which cost £50! Only to be ignored the entire night! Other diners also got up and left after deciding, not only was the food not worth waiting for, but the waiters were not interested in making sure their customers had an enjoyable dining experience. All they were interested in was their take-away orders.We would advise not to dine here!

We first went to the tiffin last year, we wasn't expecting much due to the location but Im pleased to say that we were greatly surprised. Since then I can honestly say that We haven't had any other Indian meal that has come close to this resturant. We even travel the 15min car journey to get a take away from there as its so worth it!!The food is outstanding and the prices are fantastic and the tapas menu is amazing. Been back many times and will deffo be back again soon!!!

Ate at Tiffin several times now & two take-aways. Consider myself a curry afficionado and they have never let me down or failed to surprise me with how authentic and incredibly tasty each dish is. Full of flavour, nicely spiced and with rice that is juicy and fresh (unlike many others) really is worth every penny. Staff friendly and attentative. I'd recommend all to visit and promise you'll be back for more!

This is my second review having previously posted on the poor quality curries, I have to say that I have since visited again and what a huge difference! The food was superb as was the service, the restaurant was a bit quiet for my liking but I can live with that. Well done Tiffin, it was maybe just teething troubles on my first visit.

Really enjoyed the food from here. All dishes cooked to your own particular taste and good value for money . Only negative is the restaurant is a bit cold - not physically, just not a lot of atmosphere

As a regular of the Parade Tandori, as mentioned by the previous reviewer, I can confirm that their curries are excellent. I have to disagree with their review of Tiffin. My partner and I had the Tapas menu and the food quality was comparable with any of the meals we've had from Parade. Value for money was excellent especially as you can bring your own beer/wine with no corkage. The food was delicious and it was great to be able to choose dishes you ordinarily wouldn't try if restricted to the a la carte. Staff were very attentive and friendly. My only slight gripe would be that the decor is very plain and there was a lack of atmosphere when the restaurant was quiet early in the evening, we also had to request the Tapas menu. Once the food arrived that was all forgotten, we'll be back soon!

I can only assume that the previous reviewer didn't look very far or they are not familier with quality Indian food! The curries have no body and they look like sauce is heated and then choice of meat thrown in just before serving. The lack of atmosphere in the restaurant does not make for an enjoyable evening. If you want a quality authentic meal try a takeway from the Parade Tandori less than ten minutes away. The Tiffin will maybe improve with time!

We have searched the north west to find the best indian cuisine without spending unnecessary wads of cash. And we've found it here.Everything is great; the friendly staff, clean surroundings, vast menu (including a tapas style menu which is a great way to experiment and try new things), the quality of the food, and best of all, you can bring your own alcohol with no corkage charges.Seriously, if you are looking for a great place to eat, just try Tiffin, you wont be disappointed :)
